Our family loves Oceana Market. High quality produce with an excellent selection of natural and organic goods. Reminds me of the Co-Op’s up in Humboldt County 😊 very friendly staff. Very enjoyable environment that is totally worth going out of the way for.

If you need niche items or cheese, beer and meats this is great. Their produce is marked up a dollar but we prefer it rather than Safeway because of the customer service and small town feel.

UPDATED REVIEW:Staff aren’t as friendly nor helpful and the deli staff ignored customers in masks. Would be nice if the prepared items in the deli area were available in small containers so customers don’t have to rely on rude staff.Sushi looked weird. The layout in the back right is off. Why is the juice all by itself near office supplies?ORIGINAL:I’m a fan of this store. It’s basically a slightly smaller Whole Foods. Parking lot is vast, staff are so friendly and helpful — especially in the aisle with vitamins and CBD products.They even have Kosher items and different small sections in the International aisle despite its small size.The store is always well stocked, looks beautiful and is well-lit.They even have some hard-to-find items, prepared food and local items.It’s one of my favorite grocery stores.

Its like having a whole foods in our little town, without all the private label 360 stuff to make you think you should buy the private label stuff instead of the items you want! Great service, wide variety of hard to find items, very good butcher counter (though the people behind the counter seem a little disengaged). The food they make there, both at the butcher and in produce, are top notch. Great cheese counter. And check out is always quick without lines (so much better than the chain grocery in town). So happy to have them here in Pacifica.

Great local market, can be a bit pricey, but they have a lot of products you wont find at a Safeway or Grocery Outlet! I dont shop here frequently, but when I do I always have a good experience. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Theres also a Wells Fargo ATM right inside the market which is super convenient.

Great selection on a number of hard to find foods. This is a store on par with a Whole Foods or a Sprouts only better. They carry a good variety of quality brands and have quite a few hard to find items. Their salad bar is fresh and filled with plenty of options. The staff is always warm and friendly. Nice relaxing vibe to the store.

If you can afford the higher-than-average prices, Oceana is the best shopping experience you can find in Pacifica. The produce is fresh and well-kept, the meats section is comprehensive and gorgeous, and it includes some awesome dry-aged beef. There is also a significant selection of imported products, fresh bread including some Rosalinds Bakery staples.All around a great experience, just not something for every pocket.

Not going to lie, prices are high. Dont get avocados here, theyre always over ripe and inedible. But they have a better selection of organic products and international brands than other stores in the area. They now carry Wagyu beef at the counter if you like premium beef. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Checkout is quick.

Great market. Out of the norm not your average typical grocery store. They have a complete deli-sandwiches are better than expected elsewhere speciality cheese counter,meat counter that butchers are available to guide and answer questions,wine/liquor that I never purchased but I would guess like all else in market there are great finds. I do not do weekly shopping here the prices are a bit high for my budget,but things I have purchased are items not found easily. There is also an extensive pet supply store within a store in the back of store that is operated by the old pet store once at Manor plaza so unlike pet aisles in grocery store you can ask questions and get sound advice for all your pet needs. Choices of food and treats saves time from stopping at pet store to find what you need. There is also a small child toy area that is well stocked with some interesting unique items. Seasonal finds,unique gifts,department store type items you can find here. A satisfactory produce area,bulk food dispensers,baked goods,food(entrees and salad bar) small cafe area u can sit and eat,with coffee bar. As said the place isnt for bargain hunters but if you know that going in you can enjoy looking around and discovering things you just have to buy

It’s really unfortunate that this local independent grocery store is forcing people to wear masks and harassing their customers for silly things, like having a canvas bag in their cart. They are cracking down on some rules, yet not limiting the amount of people in the store.Usually this store is great, and I usually prefer shopping there even thought the prices are higher. But lately I feel I am not welcome because I am a free thinker. So strange that a health food store would force their clientele and employees to do something as unhealthy as wear a mask for extended periods of time.I have shopped in Safeway in Pacifica without a mask and no one said a thing. I was in another health food store and they made it a point to say they weren’t making their employees wear masks. They left it up to the customer to decide, and also provided a hand wash station for people when they arrived. It was so much more civilized (and American) that way.Please don’t alienate your customers who don’t believe everything they watch or read and blindly follow arbitrary rules that make zero sense.

I like Oceana Market. One of the reasons being the proximity from home, but also because they have products that cant be found in a Safeway (or probably Walmart).The store is located in a medium sized shopping area that hosts one (or two?) bar(s), a dry cleaner, a place that sells tasty bubble teas and more. Parking is always easy.When entering the shop for the first time it might take a bit to get around. The vegetable and fruit area is well maintained and carries a wide variety of produce. They also are fresh and presented in an inviting way.The deli section is a bit cramped, but that doesnt mean the products dont meet expectations. The Wine and Beer selection is bigger than I would expect in such a store. Im always overwhelmed when I want to buy something there.Generally the products and shelf can be hard to find. I must have missed the orientation or just dont understand the concept. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help me when I ask for something.They support Apple Pay and Android Pay, which is very convenient for someone like me who forgets his wallet at home on occasion.The reason I dont give 5 stars (and lean to 3) is the disappointing coffee corner. The lack of hygiene (often there are flies) in this corner and uninviting setup is a shame. It could be so nice to sit down for a coffee. The operator of the coffee corner doesnt meet the standard set by the rest of the store.

I stopped by to check out the market I heard so much about and got death stares and quickly took the hint that my business was not wanted here. Oceana Market is like a local Whole Food or Sprouts, but better because it is friendly and unique. Yes, it carries all the vegan, organic, dairy free, gluten free, paleo, low carb, hemp chia garbanzo etc. a person can ask for. But personally I love that they have a good cheese selection, very good wine and liquor sections, a mad array of gifts for adults and children (they even carry toys which Ive purchased when I realized I was visiting some friends giftless!), and a lot of specialty gourmet items. Yes, you pay a little more, but even the frozen dinners are varied and tasty, more than you can find at Safeway. I dont do 100% of my grocery shopping here, but I visit at least once a month.

I would give no stars if I could since overpriced, unsanitary and poor service. Went here to get meats for sandwhiches. A young man started to help. I waited 20 minutes for him to do half my order. He then started to help someone else. I asked if he was still helping me. He said yes but continued to help the other customer. I handed back the meats he cut and told him I was tired of waiting especially since he was not going to complete my order unless I waited for who knows how much longer. It was only 5 cuts at 1/2 pound each! I told the young lady at the registare and she laughed. She smiled and asked if I wanted to see the manager, then laughed as she said the deli manager was not in. I will never shop here again. In addition the store is very dirty there were flies buzzing around the deli. Do not shop here dirty, overpriced, poor poor poor service and no care for the customer. This occurred on Sunday 8/19/18 at noon.

Salmon $36.00 a lb., Array of cheeses, cooked food, smoothies, appealin produce! They donate to the food pantry that with grace, assisted my life and survival. Friendly and colorful employees. I have seen the recent, snow moon set and pictured, that. The sun view is of beach within walking distance.Sun rise can almost be viewed from there. I do yoga at Ocean Yoga, (same parking lot.) This place has a little of everything. Its like Whole Foods and Trader Joes had a baby and cheated with Safeway. Theres toys, pet food for birds, fish a deli with a hot food bar, Peets, baked goods, and a nice craft beer and alcohol selection. They also had a beer tasting again on Friday. It is more expensive on items that could be more inexpensive elsewhere but if bbn you dont want to stop at Safeway and you want a different vibe go to this store. The customer service is really hit and miss. The guy in charge of the beer is so friendly and helpful. Theres a blonde hair mature lady in the bakery/ cheese area is friendly most time and another blonde hair,younger lady with glasses that was really friendly and helping some of the younger misguided employees information a out product when we went in last time. The cons would be 1.expect to pay a little more 2. There are always flies in the front of the sitting area near the bakery. Which seems to always be dirty with crumbs or litter at the table. 3. You always have to ask for help if you need it.....EXCEPT if youre near the beer and alcohol area and the guy in charge is there. Every time Im in that area he approaches you with a smile and ask if he can help suggest a product.

Horrible service. I like this place but the service sucks. I have been to the deli several times. Instead of making my sandwich and finishing it. They start helping other customers and then my order gets done after, I end up waiting 8 -10 minutes. When you only have 30 minutes for lunch it cuts down on my time.This has happened to me several times. I am fed up and I dont go there anymore.

They do not accept EBT card for payment. Even tho when you swipe your card it gives you the option to select ebt cash or food, then the cashier says they dont take it.Over priced, but nice selection and organics as a neighborhood shop in pacifica.Sad they dont value EBT shoppers to be welcomed in the store. I wont be going back for that reason :(

This market is a strange place. It aspires to be similar to a Trader Joes in atmosphere and try to stock hippy gluten/gmo/bpa/whatever free items, but the selection of brands is limited and prices are high on most of the items for sale. There is also a very strange toy/gift section that takes up a good third of the store space, with plush toys and crafts and coloring books. Almost without fail, if I stop in here to buy something that I need quickly, they very rarely have the item I need, and also dont accept American Express. I do not recommend this market for daily shopping.

This grocery store is my go to in Pacifica and probably one of my favorites in the Bay Area because of their amazing hot food selection. They have a tri tip panini that is one of the most delicious steak and cheese paninis I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I keep wanting to try the rosemary chicken panini but the tri tip is so good Im afraid to branch out just yet. The grocery selection is really vast and full of natural, healthy, and organic foods. You can also pick up a reusable glass straw here!

Pacifica is home to several large chain grocery stores (safeway, grocery outlet), and a handful of smaller, independent ones. Oceana market is the best of the independant ones. It has a large selection of fruits and vegetable (both conventional and organic). It has a large selection of vitamins and supplements. Lots of good wines. And good specialty foods (a good ethnic section, good gluten free). They have a hot bar and a butcher. The have a small, specialty toy/gift shop inside. The staff is probably the most helpful staff in Pacifica.All in all, its a great spot. Lots of easy access parking. Some items are more expensive then Safeway, but often times its right in line or slightly cheaper.
