Oceans in Cathedral City

Wonderful experience on our last night in town. 1lb Lobster tail was great ant not outrageously priced. Our server was quite friendly and took time with each table while never leaving anyone feeling abandoned. We will return to Oceans next time we visit the area.

This was my first time coming to this place. Its a small, intimate place with top-notch staff that take great care of you. Lots of parking in front and beside the place.The manager actually came outside and greeted us as we arrived. He explained that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, you had to show your vaccination card to eat inside but there was plenty of tables outside if you didnt have proof of vaccination.The menu has a good selection of things to offer. Obviously this is a seafood restaurant and there are a lot of choices. In addition they offer a variety of meat, steak, lambchops, and pasta dishes. Everything sounds delicious.We started off with appetizers. I had the crab cakes and my friend had the steamed clams. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly. Lots of good choices for appetizers!For the main course, I had the scallops and my friend had the Chilean Sea Bass. They were served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious. Unlike a lot of other restaurants, these guys focus on quality over quantity. The meal was filling but I wasnt overstuffed. I really prefer that.Oh, and their bread is great! Its served with olive oil but butter is available. Very addictive!For dessert, I had a hard time choosing but decided on the raspberry cheesecake. It was perfect. Slightly tangy raspberry sauce and perfect NY style cheesecake.The restaurants ambiance was nice. The tables are close enough for cross-table conversations. The people at the adjacent tables were very nice and friendly.The restaurant staff were great. They kept a close watch to make sure your drink was refilled or if you needed anything. They were professional but very friendly.My friend lives very close to the restaurant and comes there often. I definitely look forward to coming back soon!Bottom line - an excellent place to have a delicious meal. Its a little pricey but totally worth every penny.

We had such an amazing experience here! Everything from the food to the service is outstanding. I love the menus and decor! Would come here everyday if I could.

Wonderful meal and experience! We came for our anniversary and we’re very happy we found this place. Delicious meal with wonderful service. We really enjoyed Israel for her great service, smiles and laughs. They surprised us with one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend.

Had a $70. Lobster tail and it was microwaved to death. Didn’t send it back because didn’t want to upset my guests. Way over priced.

I honestly cant say enough good about this place.. so lets start from the beginning.. its my wife and I 10 year wedding anniversary, we decided to check out this place since we stayed in a resort close by. When we arrived we quickly noticed its very upscale and the client base was a bit more fancy then I had expected . Me having a face full of tattoos and not fitting the ideal customer the other customers gave lots of looks but the staff never bat an eye at us . They didnt treat us any different than anyone else, they didnt treat us like we couldnt afford it .. they were amazing and very friendly. The food was top quality sea food, the entire experience was 5 stars across the board and I wish I could give more .. its not a cheap place, so its definitely a date night type of place ( atleast for those is the lower tax bracket) but I highly recommend it if you can make it.. thank you guys for making our anniversary dinner one for the books . By the way we had the lobster cocktail, escargot, oysters on the half shell and we both had the Caribbean lobster tail 16 oz... amazing

Best branzino ever! Full of flavor and unexpectedly firm in a good way! This introduced us to the Mediterranean sea bass. Super nice wait staff that gave candy to the kiddos as we left even though we stayed until closing. We still talk about this place. Will have to go back.b

Ive been at this restaurant before and its time to rate this place as the Best Seafood in the Desert. Everything was great: service, food and we got a table without reservation which is a huge plus. Also, outside is a lovely patio in a shade. On the pics are my order of the mixed seafood (1st in the menu) and daily Special. So yummmyyy!

A truly unique gem. Our experience was so good that Im writing this even before we leave the restaurant. My mother and I enjoyed a lovely lunch outside after shopping. We ordered the Seafood Caesar salad and the Pasta Oceans, which were perfectly lightly sauced, topped with tender-cooked seafood. We finished our meal with 2 incredible desserts, the Limoncello Gelato and the Tiramisu. The tiramisu was perfection, so light and delicate; the gelato blew us away, it was so bright and tart and creamy.If we lived here, wed be regulars all the time. Itd be hard to stay away!
