2023-10-18 17:43:37Attended the Off the Grid event at Fort Mason this past weekend and it was truly an unforgettable experience! San Francisco never ceases to amaze with its vibrant culinary scene and this event was no exception. A plethora of food options to choose from, each one more delicious than the next. The live DJ set the perfect ambiance for a laid-back evening with friends. Whether youre a local or a tourist, this is a must-visit. Hats off to the organizers for such a well-curated event!

2023-06-07 18:23:37Great fun on Friday nights. Lots of food trucks and free entertainment. Best views in the city and a cool crowd. Get there early to reserve a seat you won’t be disappointed

2023-09-02 18:15:58Excellent! There should be more places like this one in San Francisco. There are many food trucks, and free entertainment and music. The only negative aspect is that they close too early.

2022-04-02 06:18:32Its back after a two-year COVID hiatus! First night (4/1/22) was packed! Lively music, dozens of food trucks, an unbelievable variety of food, thousands of people, and even a bicycle valet. The event started at 5:00 pm, but I arrived around half an hour earlier yo snag easy parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Its a 2 hour limit from 8 am - 6 pm, so it was perfect timing. The bathrooms were in between buildings C and D and were clean despite so many people there. A pop up bar was strategically placed in the middle of all the trucks and its seemed like almost everybody a drink in hand. The only ones who didnt had young children in tow.My only complaint: seating us practically nonexistent... The vibe was amazing though, so that made up for it. Bring comfy shoes and be prepared to spend lots of money trying everything out!

2023-06-20 09:24:12Good vibes, with live entertainment and lots of good options. Extremely overpriced, and lack of parking. Really long lineups at most vendors and lack of seating.

2022-08-27 16:53:36Music binds the place with tons of food trucks around to sample from. Momo noodles was my favourite along with slider mini burgers from the kabob truck.

2023-06-17 18:52:23Very good idea but the overall experience is a bit chaotic and disorganized. Space could be expanded more so that it wasnt such a cluster f. The options are cool but given the foot traffic and volume quality definitely takes a hit. The bars are there to quickly serve you so their ore made and just do garnish. Pricy for what it is if you want to drink so do so before hand to save.Entertainment is lively and the energy is nice but Id prefer other venues over this one.

2023-06-17 08:03:55Great place to try innovative foods. It is affordable if you are selective. If youre cheap, bring your own drinks. Sharing your meals is highly recommended. Parking nearby is workable if you are willing to hump a few blocks. On site beer and wine is available with many people participating in the festivities.

2018-09-17 00:47:51What fun! I hadnt been to an Off the Grid event in a long time. I wanted to avoid the crowds and long lines. I went to OtG at 5:30 on a Friday to find a healthy, but not overwhelming number of people. Half an hour later, there were lines at some of the more popular places like Senior Sisig, but plenty of other tasty trucks where you could walk up and order. I went to Jackrabbit and got some very tasty veggie sliders and cheddar scallion tater tots. You can also buy a VIP pass for $25 that gets you four tastes from marked stands.Fort Masons OtG has fire pits, live music/ djs, and themed nights. Last Fridays theme was Dog Days of Summer and featured dog training advice, a pet food vendor, and Moose the bulldog. I had a perma-smile from all of the dogs and kids. I dont know if the canine influx had anything to do with the nights theme, or if thats normal. I guess Ill have to go back to find out!One last piece of advice: be sure to wander to the edge of Fort Mason (behind the largest buildings) to view the most incredible sunsets over the Golden Gate Bridge. You can thank me later.
