Had mini chicken katsu plate, pretty big plate for a “mini”. They substitute the Mac with lettuce and 1 broccoli which sucks because that should be an option. Cost $9 which is understandable in California. Free katsu sauces, soy sauces and chili sauce that’s a Plus. Chicken was crispy and juicy.

Ive been going here for awhile bc its always tasted great. Recently went and the food tasted bland. And my food was cold (and tasted old) even though we waited for at least 10 minutes for what seemed like cooking. Anyway, I still have a stomach ache from eating their food. This was a few days ago. MAKE SURE YOUR FOOD IS FRESH BEFORE YOU EAT IT!

Good food and decent price.Hawaiian bbq chicken is the best. I am used to getting macaroni salad, but for some reason it wasnt with this meal.Service was fast.Some seats to sit at.Parking is good/decent depending how busy the other businesses are as well.

It was quite delicious me and my wife both got the chicken teriyaki I got extra white rice she got two scoops of white rice with the macaroni salad which she found delicious the teriyaki sauce goes amazing my only critique would be the skin left on the chicken not a fan of the skin

This is one of my familys go to spots. All the food is great, really generous portions. I love the#1, a mix of chicken, beef and a short rib with rice and their macaroni salad. The Mac salad is so simple but crazy delicious. Also, all the years Ive been going there getting meals for the whole family, I have never, not once walked away with my order wrong in any way.

So out of all the Hawaiian BBQs in the area (and concord), I think this is definitely one of the better ones. Its Very consistent and you know what youre getting. I only get the chicken katsu from here, so cant comment on other stuff, but generally its very good and I like the sauce and macaroni salad. Comes nict and hot, made to order, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

For once out of the 3 years i have been going here, i feel disappointed in the food for once. today me and my mom went to get some late lunch, and after we got our food and left we realized our meat was so much bone and fat, we pulled off the meat that wasnt chewy or had too much fat, but after we put all the pieces together we realized all peices were just fat and really chewy. we enjoyed our rice with the macaroni as per usual, we didnt think thoes two had too much of a different taste. were just surprised with the quality of the food we got, me and my family love this restaurant and will always get it when we can, we just hope their quality isnt going to be the same like this every time.

Not one the greatest places to stay at but their food definitely makes up for it. Their culture helps ease one into the atmosphere of the place and the food makes it even better. For me, I love the Chicken Katsu and is my favorite dish there. Always a pleasure to go here from time to time with decent pricing.

I wish I could give this place a better review but their service is awful. The lady up front has no sense of urgency and is not friendly or inviting. To be fair she is not rude but by no means friendly. Expect to wait 20 minutes for your food. This is not sit down formal dining, this is boxed, to-go food. I have watched countless people lose their patience here. These guys need to get it together!!

Good food, but nobody answers the phone. I couldnt get anyone to pick up the phone so I could order ahead. So I went into the store and ordered. I told the cashier that the phone doesnt work and she told me it did. Sure enough while I was waiting for my food I tried calling the phone number again and heard it ring quietly. She was on her phone while the store phone rang....in my head I was like are you kidding me, I know that they have hard jobs as food workers as I used to work as a barista, but she was on her phone instead of answering the store phone. Hopefully management figures out how to fix this as its probably losing them buisness.

This place is always busy... at least every time we visit. Their service needs some work. Theyre not very friendly. Their food is always delicious, and for a good price. I did try the spicy/volcano chicken katsu. It wasnt spicy at all. It just Taste like the spicy sauce they provide (I wasnt impressed by it at all).

Called the location about 20 minutes prior to closing because I just happened to be a few blocks away wanting Hawaiian BBQ... no answer. I chanced it, went anyway and they in fact were open. Had no problem accepting order. When asked why no one answered the phone, he stated they dont accept phone orders 15 minutes before closing. Understandable, however shouldnt you at the minimum answer the phone and find out what that caller wants/needs? I was given my food 2 or 3 minutes prior to closing and I was out of there thankful I had made it there. The food satisfied the craving.

Called in for pickup but they made something that we didnt order. Thats fine, people make mistakes. But the lady at the cashier didnt even apologize and gave my husband an attitude. Food is good so the kitchen knows how to cook at least.

My go to place for Aloha fix. Bowls are perfect portion & price for a quick meal to get energized while at a shopping spree. Perfect location for before or after Kohls shopping. Great choices sometimes hard to decide which to get. All are delicious.

So I happened upon Ohana While shopping with mom who is pretty picky when it comes to food . I ordered the mixed bbq which came with 3 big fried shrimp a piece of fried fish and strips of beef . The shrimp were really good having been cooked to order and were actually still too hot to eat at first . Too few fast food places can pull this off . The fish didnt really have alot of flavor, but then I realized they also have hot sauce ready to go . This elevated the whole meal . I liked the beef except it was a little fatty . The sauce was sriracha based . My mom got and bowl of rice, veggies and the same beef I got which she didnt care for (fattiness) . Could have benefitted by adding a cup or two of veggies, rather than the 3 oz that it came with I would recommend this place very highly after being there only once . Time to try something else on the menu .

Service is great. Order for pickup is always ready quickly, 10 minutes or less. Prices are good. The food always tastes fresh. The chicken katsu is always my go to and it never disappoints.

When they first opened up a few years back I was their very first customer (I worked close by so I would eyeball this place before it opened) the staff was friendly, quick,The cooks are nice as well. I really like their teriyaki and for the amount of meat they give for the price I was so pleased. I also really like their aloha greeting to customers, its short friendly and simple yet welcoming, I wish they would do that at more restaurants. Reminded me of being in Hawaii or another tropical, flavorful, paradasaical haven.

Wife had seafood mix...too much mayo not enough relish in their tarter sauce. Daughter had chicken katsu. Both questioned the small amount of mac salad given with their meal.I asked my wife to ask them if they had fried noodles.To my delight my wife said yes and she said that they asked if i wanted chicken or beef. Thats not fried noodles. Sure enough I got a plate full of cabbage and broccoli with strips of chicken.Thats not fried noodles.

Trying the combination platter and a chicken dish. Meats were very fatty. Flavor was good, especially the beef. Typical low quality fast food type set-up. Eat out of Styrofoam takeout containers and cheap plastic utensils.

The woman working the register (who acts like the owner) was so completely rude - I wont ever go back. The food is okay (two stars instead of one), but the portions are much smaller than you would get at the other Ohana Hawaiian BBQs. Good luck getting condiments - I begrudgingly was given a bbq sauce when I asked. They lock the restroom door, and dont bother putting a sign there, so you have to guess that they have a key - or is someone in there? Dont patron this place as they dont want to be in business anyway. I cant stand these franchise owners who bring down a normally good chain.
