Very good Asian inspired bowls. The pork belly bowl with rice was good and the umami gravy on top was delicious. I got delivery and the bowl was still fresh and hot. Ill definitely be ordering from here again.Update: the chicken karaage bowl wasnt that good after sitting for a while but I bet its good when its fresh and crisp at the restaurant

This place is a must try. I have ordered their Adobo bowl, pork belly bun, and pork belly jicama tacos and was impressed by it all. The pork in all three dishes is quality, fatty, crispy, delicious, melt in your mouth, piggy pieces. My favorite is between the jicama tacos and the Adobe bowl. If you like cilantro, order extra cilantro sauce on the side, and you will not be disappointed.

I never expected that the food bowls that I ordered are way beyond delicious! It really got that distinct flavor that you’ll truly love and even wanting for more. Can’t wait to try the other foods in the menu! Will definitely come back. Also, the staffs are amazing! They greeted me with a warm smile when I walked in the store. Keep it up!

Holy Moly.........When I first saw the place, I was like......Woah.I sat down and ordered my food, all within 5 minutes, and started eating within the next 5.Food was really delicious and the attention the servers give you is really good. Not early on the How-is-the-food? which is really nice because it gave me some time to savor their meals.The meals. Deliciously appetizing. I ordered a chicken noodle meal and their chicken, filled me up.Had dinner there with my friends and they also liked it, so....all of us gave this the 0/10-would-recommend-eat-at-again

It was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the Fried Chicken Adobo bowl and it was delicious! On top of that it was big and a great price. Also the lady at the register recognized this was my first time at this place so she explained to me what kind of food this was and she suggested some choices amongst the popular most ordered dishes.

A hidden gem in Bario Logan. I was told this was where the gangs used to be long ago.Love what they did to this area and I equally enjoyed the food and ambiance.Tried a few dishes:Adobo BowlPork Belly Jicama TacoShanghai LumpiaThe adobo bowl was ok but I loved the Jicama Tacos the best. The Shanghai was regular like other filipino spots.I hope to return again and try different dishes.

Had lunch with a friend, and being Filipino, at first I was a little skeptical about the menu. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the adobo bowl, and the combination of the sauce with the braised pork belly was very good. My friend ordered the chicken longanisa, and she enjoyed her bowl thoroughly (this being her first time having longanisa) and the garlic fried rice. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating - the music was a bit loud at first to be able to have a conversation, but our server graciously turned it down a bit. I am going to go back as I am definitely interested in trying out the rest of the menu, but good first impression thus far.

Super yummy food! We were visiting San Diego and I really wanted some Filipino food. It was worth giving this place a try! We ordered the tapsilog and the steaksilog and it was delicious! They also gave us some advice on which sauce to try with the food. Service was wonderful! Definitely recommend this place!

Delicious, beautiful food! Easy upbeat vibe inside or enjoy the sun on the concrete patio just out the front doors. Their pork belly is crazy good with a perfectly grilled outside, crispy and juicy! Ive always enjoyed the food here and my last visit was no exception. The portions are filling, the food is delicious, and I love their menu. Its a great introduction to Filipino cuisine. Even the pickiest eater can find something theyll love. I highly recommend the ube upside down pie. If you like custard type desserts, this one will be the perfect ending to your meal.

Great Asian fusion that doesn’t lack in flavor and is always served with abundance. Mostly Filipino dishes, there isn’t anything here I haven’t enjoyed. Sometimes I’m so full I can’t finish a side, but I love getting some lumpia or a bao. I will be coming back here again and again and again!

This is one of the BEST Filipino restaurants in San Diego hands down ! They have the BEST Karaage here than any other place I’ve tried and their adobo bowl is to DIE FOR ! I always bring my kids because they have really cool and fun games to distract the kids while you wait for you’re food, their music is always up to par and if you’re coming very hungry grab some jicama tacos while to wait ! They have the best customer service, I have yet to be disappointed . If I could give 5 stars for everything good this place offers they would have thousands ! So If you are in the barrio Logan area and are looking for some yummy Filipino/Japanese Fusion this is the place to be !P.S Stay away from the Ube upside down pie unless you want to create an uncrontrolable addiction ! Ive been going to Oi many times throughout 2018 and now, and every dish has been phenomenal. My favourite is the fried chicken adobo & their burger.For me its the soft boiled egg that sells me.It gives the dish that staple in Asian fusion with the combination of Filipino proteins.If you want to expand your food repertoire but you arent an adventurous eater I would give this place a try. Their prices are reasonable too. Bowls are about $9 so you cannot go wrong!

Other than it being pretty hot inside, the food, the decorations, and the people were all amazing!! its more filipino styled than we thought it would be which was a pleasant surprise and everything we ate was delicious. we did stay a little after closing time which we were reminded by staff that they were ready to leave, so we grabbed all our stuff and rushed out. in the corner they do have table top games like jenga and chess i think which were a cool feature.

I was craving for Filipino food and found this place while I was visiting San Diego. I was not disappointed. They put a modern twist to some of the Filipino favorites and still remained true to its authentic taste. I wish I was able to try everything in the menu but this is definitely a place I will go back to when I visit San Diego again. I hope they branch out to other states as we need something like this everywhere. Please open a branch in Portland Oregon :)

You gotta order the karaage chicken bao 🔥🔥🔥! Their sweet potato fries were thee yummiest I’ve ever had, usually sweet potatoes fries are too sweet for me, but they were the right amount of savory ! Also order some of their sauces, delicious and worth the the .75 cents! Dynamite sauce is a must & the umami gravy literally reminded me of thanksgiving gravy, very yummy don’t forget the garlic sauce! Oi burger was delicious as well (that brioche bun, right amount of toasty) and the customer service was on point ! Definitely worth checking out ! Went here with my husband and had a cute lunch date ! We also ordered the Ube upside down pie, wasn’t really my thing so next time I go I just won’t order it .

Absolutely love this place! This is my go to lunch when Im feeling some perfectly prepared pork belly.A few favorites:Undercover best item is the jicama tacos. Crisp, and full of flavor. A must try. I like these so much I usually get two orders and call it lunch.Karaage chicken with garlic sauce is always a just right amount of crunchy coating without being greasy. Not all breading either. The garlic sauce is tasty and STRONG on the garlic flavor. Bring gum if youre going back to work afterwards.Oi burger is also excellent. Thick beef patty done medium. Sweet balsamic onions and mushrooms with a subtle acidic touch. A tasty umami Mayo on a soft bun with a nest of peppery arugula. It never disappoints.Ube upside down pie is rich, creamy and oh so tasty. The graham cracker crumble and purple sugar add a nice bit of texture.Overall, you cant really go wrong checking this place out.

I got the karaage bowl, very good. The chicken was crispy and the sauces complimented everything well. I took quite some time ordering and the staff was very patient and good spirited about it, which I appreciated greatly. The only con is that some of the chicken pieces were more batter than chicken. I ordered tapsilog and karaage rice bowl for takeout. The karaage bowl was absolutely delicious! The meat was really crunchy and flavorful. The tapsilog bowl wasn’t as good. The flavor of the meat was was really fishy and it seems like it was over cooked. The portion was significantly less too. I barely received any rice and some of the rice got stuck to the paper bowl it was served in.

My husband and I went to have dinner together. Unfortunately, the waitress gave me someone elses order and she gave my order to the other customer. The other customer apparently didnt remember what he ordered and he began eating my meal. The waitress then gave the other customer his correct order. So, as a result he got two meals and I received none. Meanwhile, my husband was eating his meal and was almost done eating when my meal finally arrived. However, when my meal arrived it did not have garlic fried rice, it had steamed white rice with garlic flakes on top. Needless to say I am not a fan. My husband enjoyed his meal. So hell probably go back to enjoy another meal on his own.
