Oishii Sushi in Riverside

Very good Japanese restaurant with all you can eat (AYCE) sushi option for 36 dollars per person on weekdays. If you have a healthy appetite, the AYCE is a great deal.Sushi rolls are hefty, and portions are generous. The fish is fresh, and almost all the rolls looked and tasted great. The exception was the yellow tail roll, which tasted a little off. My favorite was the spider roll.Service was great, and the young waitress was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is festive. This is a very good place to take family and friends.

Tried this place on a whim being that our normal go to ayce sushi spot had too long of a wait. We were throughly impressed with this place and I would come back. The service was great and attentive, with food coming out quickly. I highly recommend the jalapeños and the Hector roll. The eel sauce passed my taste test too which is a big deal lol.

The waitress was kind and friendly as well as the chef and other workers. I had dinner for two when we arrived they sat us down right away and our order didn’t take long. My only disappointment was craving something spicy and they didn’t have anything spicy enough for me to enjoy overall great experience and atmosphere.

Got all you can eat and sat at the bar. The chef hooked it up with all kinds of beautiful specialty rolls he thought we would like. He made it such a fun experience and the food was spectacular!

Hands down, my favorite sushi bar! No questions asked. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great sushi. Always fresh, prices are reasonable for the area and they usually have a to-go special if youre just picking up. Ive spent several birthday dinners here, anniversaries and celebrations. My most recent dining experience was AYCE and of course, delicious! The chef gave us a little something special, I dont have a name for it but it was beautiful (pictured). If you want reliable sushi and a great experience, come here! 10/10

Everyone here is really nice and attentive to patrons. The Oishii boat is amazing and is easily shared between 3-4 people. The only downside Ive noticed with this place is that the flavored sakis and soju are always gone. A bottle of warm saki helps

I’ve passed by this place so many times, always wondered why it looked busy. No wonder, I went on a Friday and they had party music going. Not too loud but it had fun vibes. Service was nice and we will definitely be returning. The super Mexican roll was my favoriteHave returned several times and tried more of the rolls. This place has become one of our favorite routine places to go now. Love it.

There was another sushi place in Riverside called Pacific sushi that suddenly went out of business last year. I have been searching for a similar sushi restaurant like that, and I can finally say I found it. Oishii Sushi is now my go to sushi restaurant in Riverside. Prices are reasonable with great food quality. Highly recommend!

The food is great here I been coming to this location for years now and it has always been amazing. Great staff very helpful and attentive to the tables. Only reason why I’m not rating 5 stars is because of the charge for gratuity that’s included on the bill which is 15%. It’s not optional and your not told ahead of time. It’s also not based on the size of the party I was charge the gratuity for 2 people at 15%. To some people this may not be a big deal and if that’s the case then definitely check this place out. The sushi really is great here.

Like that other place, this one also charges an AUTOMATIC TIP OF 15% - 18% ON BOTH DINE-IN AND TO-GO ORDERS.Unlike the other, this one actually delivers good service, to the point I even felt a little ok with subsidizing the owners wages to the staff.Will I return?Of course not.I tip out of pity due to the unfair treatment of staff by the owner/corporate.But something as blatant as automatic tipping? Either your customers have more money than sense or the pay to the staff overcame their sense.Sushi is aright, abundance of imitation crabmeat though. Excellence service.
