Had such a nice lunch here we got a ton of sushi for $55! 1 specialty roll, 1 regular roll, 2 donburis. The owner was so lovely and you can tell there is care in every dish he makes.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood! The owner is friendly and professional with his work, evident in the quality preparation of the meal. Im looking forward to making this a regular go-to!My first order from here was great. I had the chirashi bowl: generous sashimi portions of 3 different fish plus ikura, along with pickled radish. The quality of fish and rice were both solid. The chirashi is accompanied by an 8oz cup of homemade miso soup w tofu and wakame - a good value overall! The Philly and negimaki rolls were neat and filling, thanks to a slightly higher rice ratio than some other places (though not overwhelmingly so. ) The owner was friendly as he carefully packing my food when I arrived to pick it up.Oishinbo is in the former Palmetto space on Clement, so its a small clean and bright space with no dine-in. Order in store or via their website.

Walked in on a whim, upon entering there is a big standing kiosk to order food. It was straight forward and I dont mind to put in my order. The guy in front of me didn’t like the idea and made a big deal about it & stormed out, and I could tell it frustrated the owner. & I empathized for him. I couldnt shake the feeling the owner was super stressed and I almost felt like my order was an inconvenience. It affected my experience. Perhaps hiring helping staff to mitigate the stress?

Counter sushi, take it out and eat it outside in the beautiful wooden parklet right out front. Tried the basics, makis and salmon and tuna sashimi. Fish was fresh, sliced to appropriate thickness. Only complaint is the wasted plastic containers (can you move to compostables?) and the maki was not fully sealed. Otherwise, fresh and lovely classic flavor.

I popped in for the first time for takeout and they had my favorite salmon ikura don on the menu added a couple of different salmon rolls and I thought there soup broth was unique, different and very tasty. I cant wait to go back to share the experience with friends and family. Also, the gentleman in the Stanford sweatshirt was very welcoming and smiled, which isnt often the case in restaurants in town these days--which I appreciated. 👏👏

Very yummy and fresh sushi! Ordered mid afternoon on a weekday and my order was freshly prepared and handed to me within 15-20 minutes. Great pricing for 1 Philly hand roll, 1 maki set and a red dragon roll totaling $32, fed both my bf and I. Delicious! Exactly what Clement Street needs!

Yum!! Very fresh fish, on the more expensive side for only a couple rolls but makes for a very nice to go lunch :) Only one guy working this place so it can be a long wait!

Fresh, great quality sushi. I ordered 5pc hamachi sashimi and a rainbow roll. Both hit all the marks for me. Definitely my new favorite sushi spot in the neighborhood!
