Expensive definitely, food is good don’t get me wrong but only 1 chef so id def recommend coming on a slower day or making reservations. The chef is great tho seems sometimes over worked. The waitress recommended us this drink and it was really good! I wouldnt order sushi, the grill stuff is way better.

Amazing experience. You can choose to be seated on the sushi side or be seated on the hibachi side. You can still order sushi if you choose the hibachi side. We did the hibachi side and the chef was so entertaining and funny. It was like having a magic show and comedy act while being served dinner. The food was delicious and fresh. Everyone dining was laughing and enjoying themselves. Staff was very friendly and we were checked on multiple times. We never had to ask for refills. This is a place you can go to dinner with friends and family and not entertain your guests yourself, but be entertained with them.

Im only giving 4 stars because our server wasnt friendly at all. We ordered the bento combo food with steak and tempura. Usually they serve the steak as one piece but last night it was sliced and even thin cut. How i wish i did take a pic . We also ordered the appetizer which is salmon gogo and that i must say its really good.

Visited last night for some long overdue sushi. Reminded me we need to visit more often.They have a wonderful atmosphere, in fact prom kids arrived during our stay. The rolls are wrapped beautifully and tasted amazing. There is an abundance of rolls to choose from and the Hibachi grill is always fun. The menu has something for everyone.Our waitress was kind and attentive and staff was organized and ready for the prom guests. Will keep this place in mind for my daughters upcoming proms. Good seating and ambiance.Thank you for providing such high quality sushi rolls to satisfy that over due fix.

My husband and I took my grandson to lunch for a celebration. We were disappointed in the food and the service. The food was very bland and taken back that they didn’t have the spicy sauce that we normally order at tempura and sushi restaurants. We won’t be back.

Let me start by saying, they do have some good selections and try their best to give customers a good dining experience. Their oysters are the best Ive had in recent memory. The reason for the 2 stars is the last time I ordered about a dozen oysters (for $39) or about $3.40 a piece it seemed like I was given the ones they would have only conveniently discarded because they were the tiniest Ive seen. People just assume these things wont go unnoticed by a paying customer. But that sure gave me a reason to go elsewhere.

Came here for my birthday, and was so disappointing. At 7pm on a Friday night, this place had the atmosphere of an office. The sunomono salad (cucumber salad) was so vinegary it burned me and my husbands throats and was inedible. The sushi was on par with a buffet or grocery store. Lastly, it was over $100 for two people...you can get cheaper and better food elsewhere.

This place is okay, I enjoy the food but its so quiet and dim. Would like to see the place open up more and do more. I had a couple of rolls here but they seem to lack the customer service aspect a bit. There is a lot of potential here at this place, they needa bring it out more too. It is very secluded fron everywhere else and I would like to see more advertising for it!

I wish I remembered the dudes name who was cooking for us so I could give him a shout out because he did a really good job at cooking, as well as entertaining us. Dont do like I did and opt for the white rice because you will miss out on the fried rice which was the best Ive ever had as well as a huge part of the novelty of the experience. This place would get 5 stars if it werent for the way their receipt tries to trick you into tipping twice. Gratuity is factored in or something already and its hard to tell. Dont mark my words, I was on the other end of the table and didnt see the receipt but something to keep in mind. All in all this place was great, service was timely and food was really good but a trip there may cost you a small fortune. Peace.

We had to wait over an hour to sit at the Teppan grill. Some servers very nice two others not so much. The food was not as good as some Teppan yaki Ive had, especially the steak was under and shrimp overcooked slightly. But the flavors were good overall. Miso dressing was good.

Wonderful, sharing experience! Went there for my parents 68th wedding anniversary, yes some people love each other enough to stay together, including me and my husband of 35 years! The atmosphere was great and salmon and tempura was great! Loved the spicy tempura, lobster and condiments. The show was great to with the chef giving his all for our entertainment! Will go back in a heartbeat!

If I could give no stars I would. Ive been fortunate to have traveled and experienced restaurants in Europe and throughout the United States. Ive never waited for an hour and a half at a table to be asked if I wanted a complimentary dish not by the manager but the wait staff as we hadnt been served our orders. Outrageous. No explanation or anything. They comped the drinks and gave us a 20$ card!!?? Really..I felt worse for the party with us to experience the Hibachi, it was for a birthday!! Gave her the gift card. Dont waste your time go to Sac.

This was a great place! I came here with my family and we sat at the hibachi grill. Our chef was very funny. He communicated and talked with us the whole time. I ordered the filet mignon and tuna and it was delicious. That filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender! I plan on coming back.

Don’t know what’s up with this place the last few times the bestie and I have gone. It used to be our go-to hangout spot for Thai tea and sushi but the last three times we’ve been, the sushi has been mid. It sucks because we considered it the best sushi place in town. When dining around the grill, a chef will put on a show of knife flipping and spatula flipping that will entertain all ages. Food tastes slightly different (but still great) depending on the chef, but each are welcoming and friendly. While on the pricier side, ($20-30 per person) the overall experience and food is worth every penny.

Others had the habatchi grill which ranged from $20-30 depending on entree, but you get a good amount of food and its actually fresh, quality ingredients. Totally shareable in my opinion.

This place is a very wonderful restaurant. The New York Steak is very delicious. Lots of flavor, juicy bite. The birthday dessert is really good, the ice cream, and the whipped cream with chocolate and waffle was really delicious. The service was good, and our waiter(Yong) was nice and was funny. Went yesterday which was a weekday not sure if that had to do with the service. Didn’t have a very good experience. We are from Texas and are familiar with hibachi grills. First off, Our waitress was rude from the moment we walked in she was the one at the front too! & our cook was hardly entertaining. He was for the first part then gave up. The kids were expecting a little more! To top it off the food gave my husband & I upset stomach. This was last night and my husband still has it. Also, super over priced. We paid $100 for 1 adult shared meal 2 kids meals, and an appetizer. Won’t be going back again.

I would say the chef at the table deserves 5 stars for the show. However the food was bland with no flavor. I got the chico special, but the sushi was very delicious. I was overall dissatisfied with the food and honestly the $470 bill was not worth it at all. If you want amazing food go else where! I went with some friends and I it was probably during an odd time for the servers, about 5pm with only 2 other tables with people at them and 2 people in front of us picking up an order. They seemed possibly short staffed during the time, but I could not tell if anyone even knew we were there. Once the 2 in front of us got their order a waitress asked us what we would like, and we said to be seated. She said okay but then went to one of the tables to take their order. It was confusing as to what we were supposed to do, but soon after another waitress asked if we were helped and helped seat us.The food was decent, I got the pork ramen. I had an extremely unsatisfying experience at this restaurant. I ordered the chicken hibachi and all three items on the plate were covered in the same juice. The chicken was extremely rubbery and unflavorful. The fried rice was not great. And I also ordered their tempura spicy tuna roll which was rock hard and not flavorful at all save for the super spicy sauce that emanated on the whole meal. Will not be returning.

I called 4 days early for a reservation and they said reservations are only for 6 or more: they opened at 5 and we arrived party of 3 at 4:55. Went here for takeout and what a terrible experience that was. We wait twenty minutes for one of the smallest portions of food I’ve ever received from a Japanese restaurant. The rice was slightly charred and the rest was very unpleasant as well. The meal was not as described by the person who was taking orders. The manager was extremely defensive as if I were lying when I tried to explain why I was dissatisfied. Overall it was horrible experience and I will never give my business to them and neither should you. We should be pleasant with one another not hostile and aggressive.

Seated and then not checked on or gotten a drink order for another 20 minutes. Got a 2 item bento box, tempura and chicken. Instead got a bento box and an ADDITIONAL SIDE of tempura that was charged $12 that we didn’t even order. Our waitress checked on us two times in the over hour we were there. I purchased from this restaurant for the first time today. Walked in to verify that they had simple meals like hibachi chicken, hibachi steak, and fried rice. After verifying and ordering the $35 plates, I pick them up, take them home (which is 30 minutes away), and find shrimp in both of our meals. I call to let the manager know I was upset for not being informed about the shrimp. My husband is allergic to shrimp. The manager tells me I’m being hostile and tries to justify why they are not in the wrong. I ended up hanging up on her because she was speaking to me extremely condiscendingly. Lacking in the customer service aspect and quantity of food. Very disappointed. Will never recommend, you get more food at Panda Express for 1/3 of the cost.

This place is great !! JR is an awesome chef we love him, always prepares our food very well he quite entertaining and great customer service. Would have given five stars but our waitress wasn’t very attentive, we were the only family in the restaurant besides a party of two on a Sunday afternoon and my husband had to ask for his beers twice and hardly saw her to check up on refills or anything else.

We had a reservation on Valentine’s Day at 7:00, showed up ten mins early and had to wait until after 7 to be seated. No one would help the ten groups waiting in line to be seat but kept walking by ignoring us. Then we were sat with 4 other groups.. super romantic and special for us. All in all I won’t be going back here in the future.

Made reservations over a month ago. Parents in town, i had never been there so took whole family. Took over a half hour to sit at table. 2 HOURS later we left, all we were able to eat was our salads, soups and an starter - (which were cold and crummy) there was 6 people. We watched other tables get their food cooked - we were sat first. 2 people at our table walked out, we tried to stick it out, but after 2 hours we had to leave. The place had horrible service. We were never able to try the hibachi food because over 2 hours in we still never got food.

Wish I took a pic of my dinner, but it was not very good. My date and I both ordered the steak bento box because it said “NY strip steak”. We thought it would be thick slices of meat, but instead it was tiny little slices and pieces tossed in a weird sauce/au jus, did not taste like teriyaki. It looked like they took one small steak and split it between us. Also, we asked for medium rare, and there were bits that were super rare as in hardly even cooked, and medium well pieces. We paid almost $60 for everything altogether. I feel that the steak should not be labeled as NY strip and should not be so expensive for the amount provided. Also just low quality overall. I am so disappointed. The only good part about the experience was our server.

Awful service....We had a lunch reservation set for 12:45. Upon arrival, we were the ONLY table at the restaurant. Only 1 other table came in, a 2 top behind us. That’s it.Our drinks were brought out one by one. we didn’t get our soup/salad and edamame until 1:20 PM.We let them know we really needed them to hurry up considering we had already been there 45 minutes and had no chef. 1:30 PM rolls around and there was still no chef at our table. They had our rice sitting out for 45 minutes while we waited for our chef. Hoping they weren’t planning on cooking with that?We let the buser (because the server was no where in sight) know that we just had to go and get back to work, and to let the kitchen know to cancel our orders because it was taking just entirely way too long.The server still charged us $45 for 2 sodas, edamame, and their awful salad/soup that half of us didn’t even eat. My fiance and I came here to have dinner, and when we arrived, they told us it would be a 20 minute wait. We agreed to wait and gave our names for a waitlist. They did not have much room to sit and wait so we went outside and waited. We came back in ten minutes later, and they ignored us when we came back in, and they proceeded to seat 2 groups that came after us. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!We ordered sushi and a combination dinner online, paid $71. Come home and come to find out that when you order a combo dinner, it just comes with lobster. We called and let them know about the mistake and that we have a confirm email with THE SURF & TURF and the girl on the phone said “well, on our end it says you got lobster and when you order online we cant specify what you want exactly”. Once again we told her we would drive back and show her our email and “theres nothing I can do because it was online”. My food was extremely unsatisfying. I ordered medium rare steak and the steak was cooked to long. The steak was 28$ and I could make better steak at home for less than that price. This was such a disappointment. It was me and boyfriends anniversary and it was overall a disappointment.

The dynamite roll was overly burned n the spider roll was poorly wrapped falling apart on the serving plate. We ended up going somewhere else for lunch. I will NEVER come back here to eat again. Took more than five minutes to be talked too, our server Fai hardly made any eye contact with us, didnt check on us once and we had to ask for water twice before it was brought out. She didnt ask us for any refills on water and if everything was okay at all. She didnt bring the check after we were sitting and waiting for over five minutes and was on her phone. The sushi wasnt that good to be priced as it was and the only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the miso soup was hot and good & I couldnt find it in me to give 1 star. Ill learn how to roll sushi before I came back here.

I like to take the family here because we all enjoy it. My son likes the hibachi and as a super picky eater, has learned to live the fried rice. We sit at the hibachi table, but if youre in the mood for sushi, you can do that too. I usually have the chicken or filet mignon. The chefs are great, talented, and have a sense of humor.
