We had 11 people went for lunch after church. Service is friendly and quick. Ambiance is easy and relaxing! The dishes we ordered were beyond expectations. Noodles are chewy and savory!Will definitely to come back soon!

Our second time here and the food was as fantastic as the first time. The service is exemplary, everyone is so friendly. They accommodated our vegetarian friends and made the big plate dish all veggie and it was equally tasty as the lamb one. The noodles in the big plate are of the wide variety with nice chewiness and bite to it. I can literally drink the sauce from the cucumber appetizer. Can’t wait to try more dishes in the future.Will keep returning for sure!

5 stars all around. Received waters within 10 seconds of sitting down. The waiter was helpful with his recommendations and refilled our waters multiple times. Ordered the big plate lamb & chili oil noodle. Both were excellent, and we would order again. The vegetables in the lamb dish were crisp and fresh tasting, and the potatoes were delicious. The only recommendation I would make would be to order the chili oil noodle and add some vegetables to the dish! That’s what I would do next time, and it would be perfection. Thanks again - we’ll be back

Great hospitable owner, we went during closed hours and he still waved us in and cooked us himself. the food was very authentic and delicious, saying as a Chinese native perspective. Definitely check it out if you are in the neighborhood.

It’s better than ok, it’s delicious.We both had spicy beef noodles; healthy portions, plenty of tender beef, a lot of fresh/chewy hand pulled noodles. Service was fast and attentive, we had an excellent first visit.

I guess I showed up right before the lunch crowd because I was seated at a table for 4 but by myself. Took a while for them to take my order, then seemed like a long time before it came. With that said, it was good!Ordered the hot and spicy beef stew noodle soup. Plenty of tender beef, good spicy broth, and plenty of noodles. Not sure if thinner noodles are an option if you want, in case some dont like the thicker hand pulled noodles. Will recommend a try if youre a noodle person!

My favorite noodle that is authentic pull noodle-La Mein. If you understand Q Q noodle meaning noodle that has more chewy, almost opposite of a rice noodle, then this is your place.I mostly eat ketogenic diet. But when I want to eat my carbs, I will carb-cycle here. 😋Im glad they are back!My family is thrilled that they are back.

Do not sleep on this mom and pop shop. I got the chili oil noodles with hand pulled noodles. Perfect chew and texture on the noodles. Vibrant and bright chili oil sauce with rough chopped pork instead of the more typical ground pork. Just fantastic. Get yourselves over here. Youre welcome.Outdoor seating available in a cute patio area thats cordoned off and under umbrellas.

Very good service from a friendly man. The food was reallllly good. I especially liked the chili oil noodles and the lamb chops. There’s a lot of spices but not in a way that makes it too hot. The flavor is very authentic and doesn’t rely on sugar and fat at all.

I actually recommend the “big plate lamb noodles” over the chili oil noodles! The lamb noodles are super saucy, with slight numbing and spice. The noodle texture is firm and chewy. They’re a little too sweet for my taste so I recommend ordering something savoury with it :) Service is really great too.

Noodles are excellent! The noodle consistency was chewy but soft and very long. There was slight unevenness which shows they were hand pulled.Pork and mustard greens noodle soup was delicious and big! There’s a lot of noodle there and you could probably share one between two people with a few appetizers. Soup flavor is mild and the pork is very bland with all flavors blended into the broth.Lamb pao mo was not great, but that’s because I don’t like soggy bread in a dish. Basically the dish is cabbage, lamb, chili’s and cubes of soggy bread that’s meant to soak up the flavor. The bread was too soggy and added an odd taste to the dish. Would not recommend.Jellyfish with cucumber was very garlicky and flavorful. Yum!Cold broad noodles with chili oil was delicious as well. The broad noodles soaked up the flavor well and the splash of cucumber and carrots made it very refreshing!Overall great value and even with all the dishes it was only $20 per person (between two). If we hadn’t gotten the lamb dish which was overkill, it probably would’ve been less than $15 a head. Large portions for very reasonable prices.

My go to is the liang pi and the tomato egg noodles here! I used to come here weekly when I lived in the area. Now, it’s a treat when we are in the area. I did take out yesterday and they ran out of liang pi so decided to try the chill oil noodles. Tomato egg noodles are still my favorite! I hope to come back soon for another pick up. Glad they are open during this time.

I came here wanting to dry the Chili Oil Noodles with Wide Noodles but when I asked for the wide noodles, the employee there said that I couldnt even though on the menu it says I could. Maybe there were out for the day but she couldnt express it? However, the thin noodles is still very good and chewy. You can see into the kitchen to see that they are hand pulled fresh daily. The sauces were also deep and flavorful. They definitely do not skimp on the spices. The total for 2 bowls of noodle was $30 which I think is a little pircey but you do get the quality you pay for.

The noodle was bland. They also don’t have AC so it was extremely uncomfortable to eat noodles on a hot day with a fan blowing hot air at you. I don’t even know why my bf chose to eat at this place. Also the utensils had a strong smell of bleach which was unappealing/killed my appetite.

I’ve been to OK Noodle many many times before and almost every time I order N4 Braised Beef Noodle Soup because it’s so good. Sadly over the years I’ve been disappointed each time I go that I think it will no longer be my go to for beef noodle soup. They first started giving less meat, then they must have changed chefs because the flavor of the soup is not what it used to be. I’m so sad!!Will have to look for another go to place now.

I don’t even like lamb, but the lamb big plate was the standout - the hand-pulled noodles gave an al dente chew, the tomato sauce had flecks of hand-pounded pepper and held the right amount of low heat my weak body can take, and the vegetables were stewed to peak yumminess. A side cucumber salad was the perfect vinegary balance!We also tried the braised beef noodle soup, which gave us an equally delicious, chewy, udon-style noodle and tender beef.This place was bustling at lunchtime on a Friday, but our food was quickly served and we were in and out in an hour. I will be coming back!

The best valuable northwest Chinese food around Newark and Fremont, not one of them. However, there is something they can improve, the chicken has put too much tomato or ketchup in, and made the taste too strong. Noodle alway in good quality and quantity. Lamb smells good, and soup as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The noodles here are sooo good.Its a bit confusing when you walk in, but you just walk up to the cashier and let them know youre dining in and theyll let you know what table to sit at. You get up to pay at the front after your meal.We got the Chili Oil Noodles and the Hot and Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup. The chili oil noodles were super good and had so much meat. The beef stew was also really good with tender meat and chewy noodles, but a bit too oily for my taste. The chili oil noodles came out 10-15 minutes after the stew which was a bummer.You can also get hot tea instead of water but it was so lukewarm Id advise against it.Overall the food and portions are great!

N5 is my go too! So good with the spiciness and sourness. The noodles are freshly made so they are thick and chewy. The soup has a distinctive flavor from what I think are sour mushrooms and the combo with the meat and the potatoes are just impeccable. Must try!!!

Time to make a review about this place. I have been coming here for years. I have seen the cook hand pull noodles in the kitchen. And the place has gotten busier than before. Their beef stir fry noodle is good. Same goes for vegetable stir fry noodle which is pretty much beef stir fry without the beef. I also get their wood ear mushroom salad to get my wood ear fix, which is decent. I stopped caring for their noodle soup dish because their soup doesn’t taste good to me anymore. Despite their average soups, I still remain a returning customer.

I went on a Wednesday night and the restaurant seemed like it was mostly to-go, with no other diners in the restaurant and a constant stream of people picking up orders. The restaurants lighting was on the dimmer side, and it was dead quiet. This to-go style unfortunately showed in the food, too.I had the spicy beef noodle and shared a plate of beef tripe with my friend. Everything was served in plastic bowls, to-go style. I have a hunch that the beef and broth for my bowl was warmed up in a microwave before being poured onto pre-made noodles, because the former were both piping hot, while the noodles were chewy and slightly warm. The beef tripe was acceptable.Judging from the other glowing reviews, I will give the benefit of the doubt and say that I may have come to the restaurant at a time when they typically dont expect in person dining. However, other restaurants are able to do just fine on weekday nights, so there is much room for improvement.The waiter that served me was very nice and attentive.

Love love love this place! The food tastes so good, and the portion is big. The staffs here are so friendly as well—ordered here many times and had some special requests and they always tried to accommodate me. The mutton is good, and noodles are freshly hand pulled as you can hear it in the kitchen (the cook smashed the dough on the counter and rubbed them hard). Not only their noodle with soup was good but pan fried noodles (chow mein) isfantastic as well, oily but not too greasy, the beef in it was super tender to cover the grease. A good place to have real meals with family and close friends.

Ive come to really like this place! Ive been coming here for a while now, and their noodles are really just unbeatable. The chewiness and quality of the noodles are great, and I havent found anywhere else around the area with noodles like this! (And believe me, Ive eaten a looooot of noodles around South Bay). I always get the spicy fish noodle soup here. There are a lot a lot a lot of noodles in the bowl! Fish is okay, and I wish there were more vegetables. But the noodles! So much.Ive also tried my friends spicy beef noodle soup, and the flavor is quite good as well, though a bit on the spicy side. The big plate chicken is a really special dish and its huge! Lots of meat, though more noodles could be good. Get this and an appetizer to share with one other person, and youre set! If youre here by yourself for the first time, get the big plate chicken and prepare for leftovers! If youre here for a second time, get the spicy fish noodle soup. I love it! Yum.Prices are bit high, but for the amount of food you get, its great!

I’ve doordashed from here at least twice and finally stopped by to pick up to-go last week and noticed how quiet the restaurant was on a Thursday night. There was literally no one there, and I’m wondering why? The noodles here are great! I personally love what they have to offer and the price is quite fair. $9.80 for a big bowl of braised noodle soup. If you order sides like I do, you will not finish the noodles or will be quite full if you do finish. I normally order the braised beef noodle soup and I love the chewiness of the noodles, and the soup broth is super tasty (though a tad oily). The appetizer I love here is the liang pi. It’s very well done and taste is on point! I love the noodles they use. I also really enjoy the crispy black fungus. Again they make that very well and it’s hard to make it taste good without being too soft. I almost feel like this place has become my go-to when I crave a quick bowl of beef soup noodles.Other dish I have ordered was the big plate lamb with noodles and was not too impressed. It was a dry noodle with saute lamb with sauce and veggies on top and you kind of have to toss it to get flavor on the noodles. I didn’t think I had enough to flavor all my noodles and even so, the flavor was too mild for the deliciously thick noodles.The emptiness of the restaurant scares me a bit, but I do recommend trying the noodles here if you haven’t already because the noodles are more than OK! =)

Im not sure why this place is called OK Noodle because this place is not ok but rather excellent. Id say this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Fremont-Newark area. I had the hot-oil noodles and the spicy fish noodle soup and they were absolutely delicious. The service is a bit slow but its worth the wait. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Fantastic northwestern Chinese noodles. Best in the area. Fast service too, and friendly people. One of my handful of favorites.New addition: owner is very kind too. My niece had a little accident, got burnt from the soup spilled on her. Not stores fault. The owner quickly grabbed her, a 3 year old, washed her burnt skin area, applied egg white. Then told my brother to quickly rush her to hospital, not to worry about the bill. Great guy!

I decided to eat here based on the reviews. From my experience I wouldnt recommend eating here at all, I was extremely disappointed. I got the hot & spicy beef noodle soup which cost $11 (a little pricey in my opinion) and Ive had it before but never from here. When I opened my soup I was disgusted there was a layer of oil about 2 thick at the top. I dumped the oily part out and was just going to eat the meat, but when I pulled out 4 pieces of fat, not meat but fat out I decided to throw the whole thing away. I will never eat here again I was so disgusted.

When it comes to Chinese restaurants, dont expect service, if the food is good, all is well. - Yes, I had firmly believed this, until OK Noodle came along. Id have given them 4 stars based on food only. However, when you factor in the service part, 2-star is extremely generous. Its by far the most horribly run place Ive ever been to - by Chinese standard. We went there on Sunday 7/27 for lunch shortly after 12pm. The place was close to 70% full. Heres what happened:- We were informed that they ran out of plates and bowls. We werent given any utensils either. Meanwhile, 4 other tables remained uncleaned and piled with leftover dishes and plates for the time of our stay. Only tips were removed.- We were seated to a dirty, empty table, with no menus. Later I went to get our own menus.- I saw the table next to us have only one plate and one tea cup for a group of four people. The lady from the table and several guys from other tables finally fed up, they went to the kitchen counter, opened their drawers and got themselves tea cups, chopsticks and paper napkins, very resourceful people.- When our dish came out, theres still no plates on the table and nothing to eat with. The waitress said shed be back and left us facing a dish that we couldnt eat. She didnt come back. Finally we saw on the kitchen counter a stack of seemingly clean wet plates and just ran to grab them. Sadly we never got any spoons.- One table had their order missing. Another table was given the wrong thing but so grateful for any food at that point that they accepted it happily. Then I heard one of the two waitresses shouting to the kitchen that some tables order was somehow written twice on separate bills. The waitress had buried her head in the orders for so long doing nothing else, I thought she finally had them all figured out, apparently not so.- Theres no A/C, no fan. Outside was probably 90F, its a hot day.After more than 40 min. our first dish came. When we did get the utensils to eat it, It was delicious, partly because we were so hungry. Then its quickly done and we waited for the second dish. Eventually we cancelled two dishes that just seemed hopeless to come to us. I might have waited longer if I hadnt been worried about passing out in the suffocating place. Its so hot that my 5-year-old son had finished a big glass of ice water and I didnt believe wed get refill.Heres my advice if you decide to brave the place:- Go when theres no or very few customers. They can probably manage one table on a dead night, but not many more than that.Otherwise:- Keep expectation low, dont assume youll see all the food youve ordered.- Be a survivor and fetch your own utensils and napkins.- Dont expect any difference between not spicy, mild, spicy. I ordered a dish with no chili pepper sign which turned out to be very spicy, dripping in hot sauce.- Go when you are not hungry and can wait.- If you decide to order to go, make sure you check what you get. We ordered the big plate lamb with noodle over the phone once before and they didnt give us the noodle. That incidence prompted us to eat there just to be sure.Other than that, the food is good, typical northern style food, good noodles, when they manage to give it to you.

This is one of the finest hand pulled noodles places this side of China. I have tried many places in SF, Daly city, South Bay, OK noodle tops them all👍 the broth, noodles, quality of ingredients, and above all: the humility of restaurant staff not having arrogance towards non-chinese folk. So sad, this place has gotten so stingy and just poor quality food, we were regular customer since 5 years ago, then we noticed it started going downhill..portions has gotten less and less... now it has gotten a point where it is basically the size of a paper cup, for a noodle that cost $17.99.. potatoes was 70% of the meal... there was barely any noodle... beside old potatoes and onions...there was only 2 piece of meats (and both was just pure fat) served in plastic bowl, really disappointed as this used to be our favorite place, we wont be coming back.

I am a serious sufferer of oily noodles. This was the first time I ate oily noodles with thin noodles, and the taste was wrong. It was almost the same as ordinary cumin noodles. Ive had it twice, it tastes like Northern China. The food is nothing. Twenty years ago, the Bay Area was basically dominated by Cantonese cuisine. Times developed, and then Sichuan restaurants moved in.
