Was looking for a Friyay dinner around Hermosa Beach and found Oki Doki (catchy name). Was a pleasent surprise, cozy atmosphere since this was our first visit. Place had many revolving patrons...hence a good sign for good sushi. We also had a japanese couple sat next to us who gave thumbs up since they didnt speak english.Point to make best sushi we had so far in SoCal. Recommended place to visit and we had the house special.

First time here, and it was a nice place to have dinner. The freshwater eel bowl was slightly sparse on the eel. However, that which was there was expertly roasted and prepared.The baked mussels were delicious and properly elevated with a tiny hint of spicy. The tuna roll consisted of very fresh fish and was in mostly good proportion to the rice.Lastly, I usually avoid soy in the highest of degrees. But this time, I enjoyed their miso soup quite thoroughly.

Very good sushi restaurant. Good size fish portions, great presentation, and of course, very tasty. The rolls were large, the sushi fish-to-rice ratio is excellent, and the combo/Bento box was plentiful and filling. The price was reasonable as well.

Today was my 3rd time here, not to be harsh just criticizing; but the Sushi is not that great, cucumber salad tasted weird and sugary kinda like lemonade, and the workers are unfriendly. If they had different staff the place might be better, but I wouldn’t go back

I love this place. Its a hidden gem. Sushi is excellent, very fresh and the special sushi is always particularly good. The staff is super friendly here from the servers to the sushi chefs. Best of all the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

Great place for sushi, super awesome they always give you free edamame and a tempura chicken piece when you arrive. The sushi here is awesome and the service is fantastic. The parking lot kind of sucks because of the 7 eleven and is usually crowded and cramped. But I generally dont have a hard time finding a space when I come here.

This place has been a favorite of mine for a long time. They have the most amazing sushi and so decently priced. We ordered the 25.99 platter which came with ten pieces of sushi with a choice of a roll and the fire roll, which was amazing, and or bill was like 50 dollars. I highly recommend this place if you want good sushi without the high prices.

Very much lives up to its name.My hot sake was a bit lukewarm and the rolls were not as fresh as other places, but they have some VERY generous lunch specials and cheap sides, so overall I was satisfied by my visit.I saw a lot of other patrons get take out, so maybe thats the way to go.

Rolls are so big you lose the delicate essence sushi is supposed to have. They should go back to the basics. Not worth the price in my opinions.If huge rolls with too much mayo base are your thing, this place is a 5/5. If you prefer high end flavors, move on

The service was friendly and it looked very clean. The quality just seemed very low. We couldnt even eat more than one bite of the ss roll. We ordered the apparently fresh bluefin and toro sashimi and it was just meh. The roll recipes all have too many ingredients. I dont want 4 to 5 kinds of fish per roll. I want something that I can tell what it is and I want it to taste good. They should cut their menu in half and the list of ingredients for the rolls in half. Oh, and the wasabi was the weakest Ive ever tasted.

Whenever I go, the place is jam packed. Sushi chefs seemed like seasoned professionals. Rolls are tasty, service can be a little slower depending on how busy it is. It is located in a hole in the wall, tiny plaza off PCH. Good for casual, inexpensive sushi.
