Oklava Cafe in Palo Alto

Oklava Cage reminded me of my recent visit to Istambul.They offer authentic Turkish Street food and Turkish delights. Their baklava is as authentic as it gets.The place has a nice vibe; the owner is nice and super friendly.Their coffee was good.

I love this place, my go-to spot for date with girlfriends ! I wish they would have more space for tables though, having only 4 tables inside is clearly not enough. Food is amazing, i usually order their breakfast for 2, and Turkish coffee. all is very delicious! Waitress is always nice and friendly! keep it going

Amazing Turkish pastries and desserts. Everything is super fresh and delicious. Loved the vibe and service was so friendly with complimentary candy ❤️Very comfy seating inside plus a few tables outside.Will be back for sure

Had a nice experience at this new spot. They specialize in Turkish desserts (esp baklava and Turkish delight) but also have a few savory items and their coffee is excellent. They have a few outdoor tables on university ave and a bunch indoors. The Turkish breakfast is not to be missed (the honey w/ labneh was a favorite) and then the traditional pistachio baklava was the winner for the sweets with runner up to the kataifi. Staff felt overwhelmed when we were there but friendly.

A small and cozy cafe on the street. It is very nice to have Turkish products (halal). My friend and I ordered Turkish breakfast and Turkish coffee. The products are fresh and delicious. Also the service is great. I would definitely recommend.

Found this Turkish coffee shop on instagram and decided to give it a try. It was just opened a month ago. It was early when we arrived and it was not busy. I am impressed with the interior. It was well decorated and designed. It has many items to choose from, and the sweets are priced by lbs. We ordered kadafi pistachio, walnut roll, triangle, kataifi, and potato. For the drink, we ordered latte and drip coffee. I love the kataifi. It is at the sweet side, but it is yummy. Potato is also yummy. The drip coffee is at the light side. Latte is good. For me, the highlight here is the sweets and pastries. The service is very good, very friendly owner (I think he is the owner). It has i door and couple table outdoor. After sometimes the shop becomes very busy. If you are around Palo Alto and want to try Turkish sweets, definitely give it a try.

Walking in, you feel like you’ve been taking to a cafe along the Bosporus. The ambience of Oklava is what draws you in and the delicious food and Turkish coffee is what keeps you sitting there enjoying the day for hours.This is by and far the best Turkish breakfast spot in the Bay Area. The elaborate breakfast plate and quality of the simit and olive breads is as authentic and fresh as can be. The Turkishi coffee served in the traditional way with Turkish delight and water fueled hours of conversation. Pastries are delicate with just the right amount of sweet.And the staff are very kind and helpful with the menu or anything else you need.So happy to have found this gem of a cafe.Also are Halal per the staff.

The baklava is amazing & the Turkish delight is a burst of tasty flavors, and the breakfast very delicious! The staff is friendly and happy to help you pick something tasty. Whether you love baklava, Turkish delight, or a good breakfast, you wont be disappointed. Cant wait to come back for more!
