I cant say enough good things about our stay. When we arrived, we were greeted with glasses of wine and some snacks, including some incredible cookies. The staff was helpful with dinner recommendations. My wife and I were fortunate to have near-perfect weather, so we got to enjoy.sitting in the garden. The rooms were very comfortable and having the fireplace was a nice bonus. The real star of the stay was the breakfast. I dont think I have ever had a more filling and memorable breakfast while on the road -- juice, coffee, homemade granola and yogurt to put over the bowl of fresh fruit, and the hot entree that morning was banana pancakes with an egg on the side.We will definitely keep the Inn in mind for future trips to the Central Coast. It was just far enough away from the business district to feel like youre away from it all but close enough to walk to many restaurants and stores.
Our family of 4 arrived from Singapore to this quaint little coastal town of Cambria, California, and were greeted with the most amazing hospitality we have ever experienced! The warmth, friendliness and thoughtfulness of the host and owner of Olallieberry Inn, Alanna, and the rest of her team (Heather, Angie, Donna etc) made our stay in Cambria so memorable and will be something we will remember for a long time to come.We had an awesome time observing the super cute elephant seals at such close range (as per your recommendation Alanna!), had so much fun at the Christmas Festival, just sitting in the beautiful garden and patio relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous ambience (Time really does stand still at Olallieberry Inn!) and loved meeting and chatting with the other guests at Olallieberry Inn, during their daily complimentary wine and cheese hour. I dont think weve ever had that at any bed and breakfast or hotel for that matter. We now know why guests keep coming back over and over and over again. The whole experience is just magical.Thank you Alanna and team, for your wonderful hospitality, super luxurious comfy sheets (we felt like we were floating on a cloud!), premium amenities (I love love love your shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion!), 5 star breakfasts, fabulous snacks, wine hour and to-die-for oatmeal raisin cookies! Just what you want for a B&B. The Hostess and staff were tops and always available to assure a wonderful experience. The yard and gardens are beautiful and perfect for sitting and relaxing. We were a party of 8 and each couple raved about the service, location, rooms and happy hour. The breakfasts were a superb combination of home cooked pastries and square eggsWe will be back to the Olallieberry Inn, for sure.
Im afraid this place will become so popular, I wont be able to book it next time. Under new ownership, Alana and the crew did a great job hosting this place. Warm reception with lemonade, tea and cookies greeted us at arrival. The house and decor is charming. There are 5 rooms in the main house. Some with ensuite bathroom I think. There is another unit or 2 off to the side. The porch and the garden is where evening wine social is held. Its actually quite nice with delicious appetizers and great wine selection. The standout is the breakfast. Fresh ingredients from nearby farms made the difference that we can taste. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
The Olallieberry Inn is incredibly charming! The room is probably the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the room was very quiet, so we got a great night’s rest. There were homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting in our room when we arrived, and chocolates next to the bed. Allana is incredibly accommodating and warm, and so much fun to talk with. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the chef is such a nice guy. Everyone at the Inn was really friendly and it was a lovely and relaxing environment. The grounds around the Inn are just beautiful. It is in a great location; it’s an easy walk down the street to go to dinner or to shop. We can’t wait to go back!!
What a great Inn. Our experience soared above our expectations. Their attention to detail and desire to make our stay special was apparent. Comfortable beds, great breakfast and a very nice wine and hors doeuvres every evening. Plus plenty to do in the area. Highly recommend.
Our stay at the Ollaliberry Inn was wonderful! They greeted us with drinks and a tray of hors d’vors and warm cookies while overlooking their lovely gardens. Our room was beautiful- done up in antiques with the most wonderful sheets! Breakfast was great and we got to meet Alana who was just delightful! An easy walk into town. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a warm welcome by the Owner. Chef Durk had wonderful breakfasts prepared. The wine hour on the patio was so relaxing and yummy appetizers. The bed and soft sheets were very comfortable. Already schedule our return stay.
Alanna and Aaron are the perfect hosts! The Olallieberry Inn is just stunning. The grounds are beautiful - there are multiple lovely seating areas with a babbling creek and birds serenading you. The home itself is historic but updated. The staff is beyond kind and accommodating! The breakfasts are fabulous. All of this and youre just a minute or two walk to the heart of town, where youll find restaurants, bakeries, antiquing and more. We could not have enjoyed our visit to Cambria more, and we will certainly be back to visit again!
Amazing place. We were skeptical of the price at first, but it turned out to be a great value and we ended up giving a big tip at the end. Super hospitable owners and staff, greeted us with wine and homemade cookies, best hotel check-in ever! Great home-cooked food, cute garden for a morning stroll, stellar location right next to downtown Cambria. So many nice touches like warm bathrobes and complimentary chocolates in the room. Overall very cute, clean and hospitable vibes. Other guests were also friendly. Would visit again. Great stop between SF and LA!

I booked here for my husband’s birthday for one night. We had such a great experience and wished we could stay longer to enjoy this wonderful location. Everything from checkin to our room, the gardens on the creek, the welcome hour to a fresh cooked breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The owners are friendly and excited to share their property. I fully recommend this B&B and will return! We stayed in the main house King room with bath.
The Olallieberry Inn in Cambria exceeded our expectations in so many ways: the B & B itself is charming, immaculate, beautifully decorated but not cluttered. Each room is lovely and comfortable with attention to making your stay delightful. There are fireplaces (you flip on with a switch), bed linens that feel like you are sleeping on a cloud, Kerig machines with plenty of pods, and devine bed pillows in every room.Every morning we sat down to a home cooked delicious breakfast complete with fresh squeezed juice and perfectly brewed coffee. Every evening of our stay we were treated to a complimentary wine hour, where we were served quality regional wines with plentiful refills and delicious appetizers. We sipped our wine on their patio seated in comfortable outdoor furniture and a view of their lovely garden.Best of all at the Olallieberry is Alanna, the hostess/owner. She is wonderful to chat with, full of knowledge, curiousity about her customers and wonderful stories to tell. She also is full of information about her central coast location and gave great advice on places to visit and restaurants to dine in. She was also very careful to observe Covid-19 rules, so my group felt safe and secure.It was the perfect place to hold a small watercolor retreat with views everywhere to paint and we were able to stay in all 9 rooms comfortably and be together in common areas and for day outings but had privacy as well.We all cannot wait to return to the Olallieberry Inn!

First time staying at a bed and breakfast in Cambria. It definitely wont be the last. The Olallieberry Inn exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by the owner with wine, freshly baked pastries and a charcuterie board! Check in was very personable, which was a nice change. Our room was charming and huge. We had a large upstairs room and a private bathroom across the hall. Breakfast was amazing! thr entire house is gorgeous, especially the outside garden. the second night we ran into a small problem and the owner took care of it immediately, solving the issue by having us use the other room upstairs. we basically had the entire upstairs to ourselves. we will definitely be staying there again. we loved it.

Perfect Stopover if you are on Highway 1 between SF and LA. Rooms are comfortable and have a wonderful retro feel. Breakfast ist very good and service is extremely friendly. Got some good tips on what to do and see on the next leg of our roadtrip.We would have loved to stay another night.Highly recommended!

We highly recommend staying at the Olallieberry Inn in Cambria. From the moment you arrive, you will feel pampered! The gardens on the river in the back of the property make the troubles of the world melt away! The daily happy hour is top notch, the bedding is super comfy and the breakfast is gourmet! We hope to return again soon!

Great find! This place is warm, welcoming, and has everything you need for a few days away! From top to bottom would recommend this bed and breakfast to anybody visiting Cambria! The happy hour was amazing and I am looking forward to coming back in the future!
What a wonderful, lovely Inn. From the time we stepped in the door, we were captured by the fresh scents of Pine from the fresh garland and Christmas tree. Waiting for us were warm, freshly baked cookies and tea. The room was so cozy and above all CLEAN! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Instead of feeling like we were staying at an Inn, it felt more like staying with friends. We had the pleasure of sitting on the balcony in the evenings laughing and sharing thoughts with guests of the Inn, owners of the Inn and locals that stopped by just to say hello all while enjoying wine from local vineyards and amazing appetizers prepared by Dirk. The breakfasts were phenomenal. In the morning we were served homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. That was just to start. My favorite breakfast was the Olallieberry stuffed french toast, vegetable frittatas and home fries. We will definitely be back!
Great place to stay. Room at the tops bed is a little firm but the service and atmosphere more than make up for that. Fresh made breakfast from scratch every morning has been amazing. Fresh cookies in the afternoon and nice wine social hour in the evening. The staff and owners are amazing and friendly.
We decided on a whim to get away for the weekend on a “minimoon” (we hadn’t had time for a honeymoon in over a year), and Olallieberry B&B was about the only place available. It was our first B&B and we have been spoiled for life!! Maureen and Nelson welcomed us straight away, and we made it just in time for horderves hour with fresh food and a glass of wine. Maureen was quick to make us feel at home and when she recommended a restaurant to us, she made the reservation!! We told her we were interested in a couples massage and not only did she find a place, she made the reservation for us the next morning! The breakfasts (2) were amazing!! Prepared fresh by a professional chef, we had fruit, yogurt, and granola with fresh orange juice, followed by bacon and pumpkin pancakes with a quiche one morning and strawberry roll ups with scrambled eggs the next. The chef even knew my name and that I was going to be heading for a massage that day!Besides that, the room was comfy, clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. There are homemade cookies, coffee, and tea available nearly all day. Plus the location, owners, and staff are amazing. And we loved meeting other people and just chatting at wine hour and breakfast! I can’t say enough about this place, except that we will definitely be doing more B&Bs in the future and if you are in the area, this is the one for you!
Wonderful and welcoming staff. They gave us a lot of great ideas for where to go in the area. Rooms are very nice for a BnB and we very much enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Location is close to Hearst Castle and a lot of great wineries. Overall would recommend!
Hello, me and my friend David Miller just left your inn, came for the weekend, this place was the loveliest place I have ever seen, first experience at a B&B, it was beyond great, the garden was beautiful, the house was beautiful and clean, our room was clean and very cute, your staff is awesome, very friendly, Dirk was awesome! The best! Proof is in the pudding, we travel to this bright spot whenever possible. Maureen and Nelson are exceptional hosts. They are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A lovely old house in which to stay, but its the welcome and food that complete the experience. Fabulous hosts, chef and staff mean happy hour in the evening and breakfast are food experiences worth coming for. Perfect for a weekend away!
A truly special place for a quick get away. The accommodations were top notch, the food was excellent, and all the employees treat you like royalty. Best of all is the location is only about 100 yards from all the quaint shops and restaurants. The great wineries are only a 30 minute drive south, Hearst Castle is 20 minutes north, and you can walk along the beach with just a 5 minute drive west.
WOW! Just happened upon this great little B and B while looking for a place to eat in Canbria, CA. Saw the huge 135 yo, got out to take pics and one of the ladys that runs it invited us in to look at the garden in back. Needless to say, we checked out of our hotel a day early to stay here instead.We will be back to take in the beauty when we have more time to relax for more than a night. If there was more than 5 stars Ollallieberry would certainly rate it! Owners are delightful, the breakfasts are amazing and the surroundings are so pretty! The accommodation is gorgeous! We were lucky that the other guests were really lovely. All B&Bs should be like this! Just loved, loved this place! Chefs are awesome. Sundowners are great also. (Wine tasting and horsdoeuvres) Just perfect! Thankyou everyone! We will certainly recommend this place.
Stayed many times. Dirk makes great breakfasts and the hostess in the afternoon makes wonderful appetizers. Sadly local wines arent served. Why? We love the Creekside Suite room. Roomy just wish they would recarpet the floors. Carpeting was removed.
The owners and staff of this little BnB are incredibly nice and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast is delicious, and the wine hour is great with awesome views of the garden and wildlife. A lot of awesome PCH stops nearby make it very desirable. Overall would recommend.
Warm, friendly and cozy, this inn was just what we needed to call home while recording an album at Painted Sky Studio down the street. This felt like staying at home while on vacation. I didn’t want to leave, but had to get back home. Highly recommended.
Everyone was very friendly from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. The room was nice, although the walls were thin (as expected for an older house). The homemade breakfast was amazing and really brought the experience from good to awesome.
The perfect vacation that we didnt even know how much we needed from the Silicon Valley Shuffle: A room over the rushing creek, with cows mooing in the morning. All the gourmet food, great wine, and fine chocolate anyone could want. Sunshine, beach hikes in the storm debris, amazing TV-less-Internet-less inn, fascinating inn-mates, inn-keepers, & inn-wolf-dog Cody. And wonderful conversations with my gentile, classy relatives who live in this sleepy little town.
The owner, Alana, was most friendly, gracious, and welcoming. Her B&B was spotless and so quaint. Breakfast included was great made by her chef, and the Happy Hour was extra fun.
We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here and we could not have stayed at a more perfect place starting with the greeting by Maureen showing us around and making us feel more than welcome. The afternoon wine and appetizers were enjoyable on the outside patio, getting to meet some of the other guests and listening to the birds chirping. The fresh breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruits, homemade granola, an egg dish and homemade pastry. The dining area is bright and cheerful ~ a fantastic way to start the day!!I cant say enough about the hospitality of Nelson and Maureen. My husband suffered a fall on our way back to the Inn after dinner and had a pretty severe head injury requiring medical attention. They stepped up and beyond Innkeeper duties to make phone calls to the hospital and Nelson drove us over 30 miles to the ER, stayed with me while my husband was getting his injury repaired, then drove us back to the Inn taking over 3 hours at night to make sure everything was OK. We were so relieved to have them help us at that traumatic time.We are looking forward to returning to the Olallieberry Inn again soon!

This is a quiet little getaway that my wife & I enjoy every time we stay in cambria. The rooms are nice & quiet, the balcony is beautiful, the food is great and the hospitality is wonderful. We have come here four seperate occasions, and every one is a good time.
Breakfast was delicios, but i would have liked a couple of extra portions. Internet did not reach the room at the top. The rooms were very clean, everything was high quality. Back yard ws beutiful and peacefull with a runnin stream. Service was great, people were polite. I would like to have more optios in breakfast, but overall experience was positive.

They were more than accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. The room was delightful and a good size and the bed and pillows were super comfy. The breakfasts were amazing and all homemade. Happy Hour (my favorite:) included excellent wine and snacks. The grounds were magnificent with a rustic porch overlooking grassy grounds surrounded by flowers and overlooking a little creek. There were tables and chairs in the yard area also. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already looking forward to going back.

We stayed in the carriage house suite and it was beautiful.Breakfast was 5 star and appetizers at 5pm, very nice and quiant.Room rates very reasonable.Looking forward to our next stay.
