I love everything about this place. The vibes are awesome, food portions are huge and the dishes are tasty. You can also see tons of cool cars and motorcycles that pull up here.Our favorites are the steak burrito, BLT and cinnamon buns. Don’t ever forget a side of their famous bacon. Add a Manmosa if you’re not the one driving.I’d recommend getting here before 11am on a weekend for brunch to avoid the line. This is a must go out of your way anytime you’re in the LA area.

The Old Place Steak House is a true gem, consistently delivering delicious steaks that keep me coming back for more. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the restaurants charm is enhanced by the presence of majestic peacocks that roam the grounds, adding a touch of natural beauty to the dining experience. The tender, flavorful steaks are cooked to perfection, satisfying every carnivores palate. This enchanting combination of scrumptious cuisine and the serene ambiance with peacocks makes it my all-time favorite dining spot. If youre looking for a memorable steakhouse experience, the Old Place is an absolute must-visit.

I went to the Old Place for the first time with three friends at the beginning of June…and then immediately took my family a week later, it was that good. The Old Place has a short menu and does everything on it really, *really* well.I ordered the steak and eggs with potato wedges, and had leftovers for *two* more meals. The portion sizes are immense.After you eat (or while you’re waiting for your food and someone saves your table for you 😊), take twenty minutes and explore the grounds! There’s an excellent on-site shop with a little bit of everything local, peacocks are waiting to be found, and there are so many art installations scattered throughout the property!If possible, get there between 10:00-11:30 am before the parking lot fills up.

First of all, such a beautiful drive to get to this place. The service was wonderful and the gentleman who greets you is so friendly. As for the food.... that ribeye is so delicious. The cook was perfect and it seemed like it just melted in my mouth. Came with a baked potato that was well seasoned and fully loaded. Will be back. Impossible to stay away from that steak. Beautiful scenery outside too.

Very unique restaurant. Highly recommended.- Huge outside area.- lots of old and traditional buildings and stuff- fantastic coffee shop back of the old truck- Cornell store with lots of traditional hand made stuff-they serve smoky steak and fries

Steak and eggs was fantastic. Steak was smoky and had a more country, spicier seasoning. Eggs were fresh and cooked to sunny side up perfection. They paired well with the hardy portions of potatoes. Atmosphere was fantastic.Side salad was a large takeout size. Mostly the salad lettuce green medley with a bit of cherry tomatoes and cucumber. The honey mustardy dressing was tasty tho.Parking was fine and could be found in the back.

We have visited The Old Place for both inside and outside menus. The food was excellent for both services. However, I must probably give more stars if I could for the outside service. Yes, you have to usually wait in line to place your order. However, the vibe is awesome to be able to eat outside. They have numerous areas spread out across their property and you can easily find an area to eat.Inside, we tried the Cheese & Cured Meat Board, the Ribeye, and the Chicken Pot Pie. There wasnt any food left on anyones plate! Outside, we had the Old Place Burrito and the Steak Sandwich and they were both excellent. Theres a little separate cafe where you can buy drinks, lattes, espresso, coffee, etc. I also tried the Manmosa (man-sized mimosa) and that was great as well!Finally, there are numerous wild peacocks on the property. Take a stroll while youre waiting for your food or to walk off the meal you just ate.We definitely recommend this place!

Came here for a late Sunday breakfast after exploring Paramount Ranch. We each got a burrito (mine was mushroom, my husband has steak), plus an order of cinnamon rolls, an iced tea, hot tea, and coffee. The portions were large and the food quality was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The selection of beers was outstanding, offering a diverse range of flavors to suit every palate. As a resident of LA for the past decade, I can confidently say that this restaurant has become my top favorite. The staff are welcoming and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend it, regardless of how long you may have to wait for a table. It is a true iconic spot and well worth a visit to share with friends and family. Bonus, the phone signal is poor inside, perfect to disconnect and enjoy the moment. Its truly the best of the best, I give it a 5-star rating.
