Everything was great, from service to taste. However, the menu is very bland. Would you like a side of pasta for your pasta? Like might as well-.- lets get in some different options!!! Maybe like an Italian burger?? Or like bring back Pizza!!

It was our sisters 83rd birthday and she was so happy we brought her to Olive Garden Oxnard. They were attentive pleasant and we had the best service from a young man. Food was fantastic. Please give them a try.

I ordered the shrimp scampi because I wasnt feeling like a marinara meal. This was a really good dish! I especially liked it because it was lighter but still filling. The checkout process here is perfect for a large group splitting the checks!

Kind of expensive for food that’s just okay. I remember having Olive Garden when I was younger and loving it but I didn’t enjoy it that much this time around. Not that their food isn’t good it’s just...too much, too high on carbs. I should’ve chosen the salad as my side instead of the soup, but I did enjoy the soups though.

We had a great experience tonight! We come here once a year or two & every time weve enjoyed it. The wait here on a Sunday evening around 7pm was about 35 min which was expected but we didnt even wait 10 min & we were seated. (They did offer the bar which had plenty of room but we opted for a table) They started us off with a generous taste of chardonnay (complimentary!)Service was great, food was delicious, drinks were very good and inexpensive so we order another round! For dinner we ordered the buy one take one home deal OMG weve got dinner for tomorrow yay thank you Olive Garden for a great experience. Our server was outstanding & really on top of it! Not exactly an authentic Italian restaurant (maybe cause its part of a corporation) but still has good food to serve. Very spacious and has a party room that fits around 35-40 people. For a regular night outing...expect 30-45 minute wait.

Stingy and under staffed. They are really cutting cost every where and it shows. Waiters will disappear and never come back. There’s a manager walking around that seems to keep on eye on his employees to ensure that guests don’t share any plates without being charged for it (ig salad or soup). Servers are nice but too busy. I’m not sure why since everything is already over priced. They should be able to properly staff a place that I always busy and charges $4 dollars extra for steamed brócoli. Don’t recommend it unless you’re really craving it.

They said a 20 minute wait, but it was only about 10. Our server was great. Timing was perfect on drinks, our appetizer, the salad & breadsticks, and our meals. We both had special request meals, and they were both done accurately. The Ziosk checkout is easy, and gets you out quicker. We did have to stop and ask for our mints. Other than that, we will be back!

Went with my beautiful mother and 2 sisters. We arw very busy since we have kids. We went for a late mothers day dinner. Had my spouse watch my kids and nephews and niece. We waited about 30 mins for our dinner . I go here 3 times a month. I order the same thing. I also cook a lot and know the right temp settings and what re-heated food looks like. Well, all I have to say is. My double stuffed chicken masala and my sisters dish. Was full of gravy sauce looked like a soup. And chicken was dry and hard. My other sisters dish her chicken fetticuine Alfredo was also hard. I asked for a new dish. It was okay. But still too much sauce. My other sister with the same order as mine. Ate only the mashed potatoes. And my poor mothers dish was a salmon. It was burnt over cooked. No natural juices came out of our poultry or fish. I complained about our food. The manager did comp our dinners was embarressed. Since it was for Mothers day. My little sister didnt look well . An hour later my mom calls me saying my sister is sick. Throwing up. I went over with medication Im prescribed for nausea. Gave it to her and she stopped vomiting and fell asleep. She got food poisoning. So dont be afraid to speak up . I wouldve preferred cooking dinner for them. But my mom wanted to hang out since we rarely see each other.

This review is regarding a server named Alyssa or Alissa. Tonight around 6:30/7 p.m. myself and three children went to eat at the Olive Garden located in Oxnard CA. She was very rude. She appeared bothered as soon as she started taking our order. She was very condesending. I even caught her rolling her eyes at us as she turned the corner. I teach my children to always use please and thank you which I lead by example. I assure you we did nothing wrong. She was upset as soon as she asked what we wanted to drink. she aggressively picked up our plates and as she turned the corner it sounded like she threw the plates down. Shortly after that another server named Patty came and asked us if we needed anything. She was very sweet. After this another server came named Cesar he was also very kind and professional and made us feel welcomed. I asked where our server went and he stated shes helping out in the back. Shortly after I saw her walk passed our table to help another table. Not once making eye contact with me or telling me that our servers were going to change. So I asked to speak to the manager (Adam.) I explained the entire situation to him and he was very apologetic. He even threw in some dessert. It was a shame that we had to go through this experience. I am extremely confused as to why this server thought it was ok to mistreat us the way she did. I truly hope that she gets more training so that others do not have to experience this type of behavior or if she dislikes serving people maybe she should look for another job.

Went to Olive Garden for an early dinner after a movie close by. Jeehan A. was our server and was so kind and attentive. She checked on us just the right amount of times, and understood and delivered exactly the modifications we made to our entrees (pasta choice, sauce, light ice, lots of cheese). She brought just the right number of take home boxes and a bag and yummy mini chocolate treats. She was an excellent server and needs to be called out for her great attitude and warm service. My service at Olive Garden tonight for my daughters birthday dinner was absolutely amazing, the server, Jordan K, was knowledgeable, he took the time to get to know us, he didnt interrupt, he wasnt rude. Then when I let the manager, Dody Pratama, know how amazing the server was, He listened to me and heard what I had to say and told me that he is so glad that I had such amazing service and was amazing as well.

I explicitly asked for fettuccine ribbons and didnt even get linguini - it was regular spaghetti. The server/bartender had no idea what a carafe is and instead stuck me with an entire bottle of wine. They werent even sure of what soups they had nor their names.

The Olive Garden is a solid C. You get what you expect, at every location, and thats fine. Salad is good, meals are tasty. Nothing special though. Its the little things that bring this location down from say a 3.7 to a 3.2, like cheap, old flatware thats spotted from hard water, spotted glasses, and a pretty poor looking strawberry garnish on a glass of prosecco that pretty much ruined everything thereafter for my wife. You wont leave overjoyed, but you wont leave too disappointed either. Just somewhere in between.

10/2 We came to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday, she loves the Olive Garden. The server Xochitl didnt feel friendly from the beginning. 3 of us ordered the endless pasta bowls and the other chicken Parm. Our endless pasta bowls came practicing cold where as the chicken Parm burnt the tounge. Theyre practically the same price and way less quality. The sauce was either bland or wasnt enough. All I tasted was noodle. 2 drinks were empty and almost a 3rd. She at no time ever seemed slammed with tables. Next year I will try and convince her to go elsewhere. Not worth it .

Their spaghetti and meatballs is embarrassingly bad. Watery sauce. Sauce tastes like it came from a can. Meatballs arent spiced. I mean this is an Italian restaurant, right? I couldnt judge the flavor of this dish from when I used to frequent this restaurant in the early 2000s, because I had never had it. But its quite bad.Now they have those annoying digital waiter kiosks. I asked why the menu wasnt coming up. The waiter said, You can only order appetizers from it. Wow..Really?

Read about this place before heading to LA and made sure to head there on the first day of my trip. I was not disappointed! The menu was authentic Italian and unique compared to many pasta restaurants, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. Since the pandemic nothing has been the same. I believe they have a short staff and cannot keep up with the demand of customers. So, my experience was bad. I called in for my order and waited 40 minutes for my food. I was on my lunch break from work. In fact, my food was sitting on the counter in the back. Perhaps its my fault for not ordering online for a smooth transaction. Nonetheless, the service was awful because when I asked for my order I was told they would go get it. Instead they were seating customers to their tables. The manager did give me a free drink but definitely needs to step up the discipline on his staff. For me to be in my work uniform and completely being ignored was unacceptable. To sum things up, Ive never had a problem dinning inn but it was bad on a Thursday afternoon for a to go order.

Server was horrible, had to ask 3 to 4 times for simple things, napkins, refills etc. The place was not busy, but we were there 45 mins before our entrees were served. We use to enjoy going to Olive Gardens, but will try other Italian restaurants instead, as this is the 3rd time in a row that we have had horrible experiences with them. Got the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks with intent to also get a dessert. I know we weren’t splurging but Olive Garden is known for its salad and breadsticks and this is a legit meal option, so I think we still deserved service. We were sitting in a section that only had two occupied tables. The other table was a slightly larger party and they got the server’s near exclusive attention. We had to flag her down to get the refills to our “unlimited” soup. (We only got one refill, btw. It’s not like we were taking advantage. And, yes, we were very polite.) Had to ask for more breadsticks after being brought more soup, and it seemed as though we’d asked for something unreasonable. Our second round was stale, like day old ones had been reheated and a little burned, and a smaller amount. Never got more salad or drinks. Server wouldn’t even look at us while serving the - again - *one* other table. It was not busy at all but I would’ve needed to stand up and shout to be served, which is ridiculous. Eventually, we just wanted to leave. Paid on the table top machine, no dessert, and just left without the server even noticing. Of course I left a decent tip because restaurant owners put the onus on us to pay their employees in this country, when they’re meant to manage the profit from us paying for our food to do that, but I did so begrudgingly. Second time I’ve had horrible service at Olive Garden seemingly because I wasn’t spending enough money. The previous time, the server actually scoffed and asked my friend and I if that was all we were going to order. (Soup and salad for lunch.) When we said yes, she actually rolled her eyes and barely served us the rest of the time. Thought it was a fluke, now thinking it might be a consistent policy to not waste time on people not spending enough. Don’t have it on the menu if it’s a problem. And everyone deserves a little respect.

A few months ago ate there. Staff was busy so we were understanding of slow service.But... it took an hour to get our food and it was not what we ordered. Server took it back. Took another hour to get our food and the meat was cold/ RAW (not RARE). Server told us the manager would stop by. Manager didnt. We got a free dessert and I hadnt the stomach to return until today.We got seated right away and our drinks were ordered and brought within minutes. After we ordered our food took forever even though it was slow. Someone else brought our food and it was warm cold. No one came to check on us. So we paid. No tip. Left. Never going back. That doesnt make much sense overall, but it was good once we got our food.Im pretty certain the servers try to avoid the tables between getting salad and the meal. This location needs a serious overhaul!!! Bathrooms were the worst bathroom Ive ever seen and Ive been to over 15 Olive Gardens across the U.S. Looked like a bathroom youd find at a bar in downtown L.A.The carpet is peeling up throughout the dining area. Many sections are missing trim on the floor. Drywall was exposed throughout. Its a shame. And this Olive Garden is the most expensive Ive seen you cant tell me they cant fix this place up.At $20 a plate Id expect much more.Only reason Im giving a 2 star is that the waitress was excellent abd the food tastes the same like everywhere else.

Visited OG in Oxnard yesterday, will truly impressed by the EXCELLANT service we received. Our waitress Rhyan was one of the most attentive waitresses we have ever seen with a great personality as well. If only all our waitresses/waiters could be as good. Love it... Dinner date night and it was perfect... Besides we got the wrong dish on our to go item... Which was a tad disappointing, only because the fact we were greeted with a happy young lady, she never once seemed annyed that she had to be at work,. Her customer service skills, as well as our server was exceptional. I like how they say hello, have a conversation with you making you comfortable. All the servers when. Needed helped each other out. I first want to start addressing that talking to the Manager Erick, is the only redeeming quality of this location Olive Garden.I ordered my food online via the website, and checked in online 5 minutes after the designated pick up time to give the employees time without needing to rush, as it was a Saturday and they were busy.50 minutes later, I was still waiting on my food and the website said my food was picked up already. I went inside and asked for a refund and to speak to the manager. Erick tried to give me my food and refund me my money. I refused the food and said to donate it to someone who may need it. Erick was receptive to the situation and we talked for a bit. I understand the holidays, Covid, and a weekend causes stress and adverse working conditions and Erick is a positive force there that cares about his teammates and the quality of food going out.If youre going to go, dont go on a weekend or just visit another location.

Ordering ahead is the best thing that works for my family and I. Theres nights we want to just stay at home and watch Netflix while we munch on some delicious pasta. Who doesnt like that right. One of the top favorites is of course the old fashioned spaghetti, fettuccine, the endless soup and salad although its not endless because we take it home not unless you decide to dine in. Along with the five cheese pasta and lets not forget the desserts tiramisu for the win. Pick up is definitely well organized, they send you an email to inform you that your food is being packaged, they send you a text when you arrive theres a phone number listed you can call in pick up parking lot and theres always an employee in the parking lot so I mean I never have to wait no more than like 5 minutes from the time I get there, I park and my food is like literally out within 5 minutes. We go home Happy. Tip; if you decided dine in make sure you arrive 30 to 40 minutes before you start getting the hunger pains. They do have a pretty awesome tiny bar and I say awesome because they make delicious drinks my favorite is sangria.Bon appetit!

We have eaten at Olive Garden many times over the years and even during the COVID lockdown service was always great and timely.Thursdays are not usually busy, but the lockdiwn is ending so no doubt you will wait to be seated so at just over an hour wait was not too bad.Seated at 8:30 pm, server came over about 5 minutes later, since we were ready to order we ordered.10 minutes go by, no salad yet, we tried getting the attention of a few different servers who just didnt seem to hear or notice us. Finally our server shows up and asks if we are ready to order, I told him we already ordered and would like our salad, he was kind of like oh okay then quickly brought the salad.At about 9:10 pm our server bring out all the orders except for mine, I ordered Chicken Parmigian, he said they are still working on it, and it would be 10-15 more minutes,i I was already irritated and told him to bring me whatever was ready, he seemed surprised and asked if I wanted what was ready and I said yes, my wife told him Im diabetic thats why I was angry and he said oh so he cant eat that anyway. He started making excuses that 70% of the staff is new. I was shaking at this point and he left then came back and said 5 minutes, I told him to forget it and I shared my wifes food.He came back a few minutes later and said the manager would remove the item from the bill. No manager came over ever and the server split the bill, he didnt remove anything.I quickly paid and asked for an emailed receipt.Never got the email receipt and I had to call Olive Garden the next day where the manager started with excuses about no wifi thats why the receipt wasnt emailed. He gave excuses about 70% new staff and said he couldnt email me anything but could print it so I can pick up at my convenience. Funny thing i get enough emailed receipt Friday afternoon, do.much for not being able to email anything.Usually there is a manger walking around checking in on diners, not that night.By far the worst experience ever at Olive Garden.

We were very disappointed with this Olive Garden. We got there and despite it being dead they made us wait for a two top so the host could sit on her phone. Then when we finally got to sit down the table was all sticky we asked to have it wiped down but never had it done even after asking twice. Our entrees were cold and bland and even though neither of us ate our food our server never asked if everything was okay in fact she just took mine away without even asking if we wanted boxes. She would stop for two seconds and then leave so I had to order water, coke and dessert before we were even offered anything at all. When she brought the dessert she dropped the fork on me and then ran away. After we sat there finished for about 20 mins she came back long even to say cash or card and when I said card she pointed at the machine on the table and said pay when you’re ready and left. She never said have a good night or thank you for coming in or anything like that. We never saw her again. As a server myself I am just in awe of the staff as a whole every person we encountered seemed to not care to be there or that we were paying for a meal that was not worth the money. Our bill ended up being almost $60 for two of us and I only ordered an appetizer. For the service we got and the meal we were given it was absolutely not worth the money or time and I hope it was just an off night and they don’t treat people like that all of the time.

Ive been to this restaurant quite a few times for more than 5 years and its had its fair share of hit or miss with food and service. Some days. Food is 5 star worthy(fresh, hot, flavorful, good portions). Servers can be quick and attentive, even when its packed, if they messed up they would apologize and you could see they were doing their absolute best, or be on the other side, take forever and forget everything when its not busy.The most recent? It was really good. Not busy at the time. One issue. It was a hot day so people were preferring to wait outside. Several other customers were smoking up wind around children. I am pregnant. Prone to falling ill easily from just a little heat. Cant walk much at times. Could not get away from the smokers, couldnt go inside because the front waiting area was too hot. I dont know what the laws are for smoking right outside of restaurants but the smoking customers refused to move downwind or put out their cigarettes(thinking back on it there was a lot of random trash on the grassy hill right in front which made it all feel a bit more grimy). I dont expect the staff to come out and make them stop even if there is a law against it. But it did stick with me over a week later. If I wasnt feeling so poorly I would have tried asking the staff for help in some way.Do I want to go again? I want to give the place another chance. The restaurant cant necessarily control what other customers do but if they were at least more consistent with food quality. Made it so that kids, expectant mothers have a safe, cool (in summer) waiting area away from smokers. A little more training for the staff and more praise for the staff who are doing great so they keep up the good work. Then yes I will keep going and recommend this place.

This site is not what it used to be.On the drive in the parking lot is full of overgrown shubs that look if one where in a ghost town, the drab decaying brown pain on the building is no help. The skeleton remains of a nearby electronics retailer adds to the ambiance.We where a party of three. The only smiling cheery person was the waiter.The salad came but I could only find one olive in it. I ordered the chicken parmagan, it was overcooked but I delighted in the burnt crispy ends. The host of the party likes to pretend he is cultured and all knowing. He ordered a round of Gran Mariner pronouncing it in French. After that drink, I was in a deep state of tipsy that could only be cured with a good long SIESTA. Good so to forget that the total bill came to 124.00 USD

If I could give this place less than a one star I 100% would. To begin the place was just over all sketchy the customer wouldn’t stop staring at my friends and I (we are of color). It felt like we were being suffocated as well it was hot and uncomfortable in the restaurant. The moment we left the restaurant it was as if I could breath again. The food was awful I had got the Marinara on angel hair pasta and had to stop eat after two or three bites because something didn’t taste right. Shortly after leaving I felt extremely sick and this still going on today May 27th and I attended the restaurant May 25th. I don’t know if it was intentional or accidental but my food was definitely spoiled. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.Update: Their costumer service answered quickly at first but when I asked for a refund I got no response. I’m beyond disappointed with this establishment.

Ive been to tastier Olive gardens elsewhere. The building smells a bit odd (just an old building maybe?) which didnt enhance my appetite. Seemed clean and tidy though. The servers and staff seemed nice, helpful and accommodating. The water was fine. I ordered zupa toscana and it wasnt very creamy, flavor was okay and didnt taste watered down. Chicken gnocchi was good and flavorful. Breadsticks were not soft and fresh, but were not to hard either (I prefer softer.) Fettuccine Alfredo was a little bland.

I went to the olive gardens in oxnard tonite. To start off when i walked into order food to go there was no other customers ahead of me it took 8+ minutes for someone to finally take my order after 3 other employees came and asked me if ive been helped only to walk away after i said no one has helped me yet.. The waitress Lorelle (sp?) Was amazing! My mom is a tough customer and Lorelle handled her with ease. My mom asked to sample a couple sauces, and Lorelle gladly got her small samples,and was thoughtful enough to bring a couple breadsticks to try them with...rather than just spoonfuls.She surprisingly made my picky mom happy!! Hard to do.I got the raviolis and endless soup.I am newly pregnant and Im going through the super sensitive smells. Apparently marinara sauce is on the nausea list! She immediately helped by packing it up for me. They advertised a deal for pasta day and did not honor it, nor did they inform us until it was time to pay to let us know they were not going to honor it. Gave me a slice of pumpkin cheesecake to make up for the hair in the salad but it was very frozen with paper still stuck to it.I will never go back to this place again or recommend to anyone. This weekend I visited the restaurant olive garden and the waiters are polite and well mannered. ALso they had a very nice service and were very kind in asking if we needed anything. I had a good experience visiting Olive garden because they seated us right away.
