Restaurant seemed pretty busy so Im sitting here still waiting on main course . The soup could of been cooked a bit longer the vegetables were not tender and the taste hadnt had time to cook in, which was a bummer . Our waitress was great older lady behind the bar very busy but delightful . The atmosphere Im giving 3 stars due to it was extremely cold 🥶 . Everyone stayed in there jackets and sweaters so I know its not just me . 45+min later still waiting . So I definitely dont reccomend busy lunch hours if your in a hurry ... It could be a long wait !

My wife and I with there on I anniversary and the service was fantastic. The waiter was very helpful. When I got my food it was cold I informed the waiter that my food was cold in he took it back just so happens I seen the manager asking him what was wrong apparently the manager took food back in brought back the food which was just right. About 20 minutes later the manager came back and ask me was it just right I informed him it was excellent. Thank for your hospitality.

I feel so sick to my stomach. After ordering the zuppa toscana and eating a bowl they brought out my second bowl. I thought it was seasoning but it turns out the soup was covered in bugs. I had already eaten a bowl filled with them. I let them know and I saw people still eating the soup when we left.

This was our first time ever at Olive Garden, and it was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and good at his job. I had the soup & salad, with chicken gnocchi soup, and Im very picky about gnocchi, as it was a childhood favorite of mine. The dumplings were tasty and great texture. My husband really enjoyed his spaghetti and meatballs as well.

We dined at the Olive Garden located in the city of Folsom, CA. We ordered the Tour of Italy, Fried Calamari, Shrimp Fritto Misto and the salad & breadsticks. The portions were generous, we had to pack the leftovers to go. The foods were delicious. Heaven was our waitress. She was very delightful and accommodating. Thank you for a great experience.

The Service person was great. However, the food sucks. We didn’t receive our complete order. The service person requested the entire order, which took forever from the kitchen staff. On top of everything, they ran out of carry-out and had to give out small carry-out. We were informed they ran out early on the day of the large carry-out. There is a SAM Club in the same complex. We felt rushed when there. First, the restaurant was almost empty, but they wanted to sit out family in the bar area. Minimal salad given. Not a relaxing time as the waitress kept asking if we needed boxes while we were still eating. We got better service on Sunday when the restaurant was full. We did have a male server Sunday, a long time employee. I had not seen this waitress before. Also, all enter should be served at the same time.

We were a group of 8 and we go out once a month to celebrate birthdays. Some months there arent any birthdays, but we still go out! Our waitress was very nice, she answered all our questions! We had a late lunch in June of 2023. We ordered soup & salad and garlic stick bread & tea for 2. We split the black tie mouse. Total with 20% tip = $50. That seems pricey to me. I wonder if we hadnt gotten bottomless soup & salad (which we didnt take advantage of) what our cost would be? I wish we were given the choice. The waitress cut our cake in half perfectly. I will go less often at these high prices. There is nothing special about the minestrone soup and salad. I would prefer real garlic bread over the garlic bread sticks. The food was good, but not great, especially for the price. The value wasnt there for me.

Need to ask multiple times for refills and I must have asked 3-4 times that I need a take home entree and they didn’t even bother to bring. Just lost patience and didn’t ask anymore. One question, why your staff doesn’t know what does it mean Al Dente? Every time we need to explain that pasta must be undercooked. But every time it always very very soft. In Elk Grove location don’t have this problem. The waiters in elk grow ask Al dente or not! But Italian pasta must be Al Dente!

Every time I come here on my lunch break, it’s an issue. I come alone and it’s always a long wait with servers not attending to me but everyone surrounding me. Then, I come and there’s at least 10 open booths with hardly any customers in the restaurant and now it’s a “10-15 min wait” for me to be seated. But everyone who walked in after me, didn’t have to wait. Starting to believe it’s a racial issue here. Highly disappointed in the service at this location. Will never give them my business again.

Olive garden has lost much of its charm in recent years. The food isnt bad but you can tell the place is run by accountants rather than chefs. On bringing breadsticks to our table the waiter remarked that it was unusual to have 4 breadsticks at a table for two since policy called for three. Likewise she said that policy called for two slices of tomato and three olives in each bowl of salad brought out. I wonder how much study on cost and consumption rates went into all that... Only bean counters think this way, certainly not Italian chefs!

Terry was our waiter. He honestly is the best waiter I have ever seen. Attentive and on top of all his guests. All while working hard the entire hour. I cant compliment his skills enough. The chicken carbonara was fabulous and so was the calamari. They served so much food that I we could only take a couple bites of our entree. The food was good but the service is what made the resturaunt worth the tip. I would eat anywhere that Terry is working.

I came here with my family for my nieces birthday. To be honest, I wasnt expecting anything special. I was kind of expecting a mediocre experience, actually. I was very pleasantly surprised with the food here! It was delicious! I had the stuffed gnocchi Alfredo with chicken. It was amazing! I will definitely go back for it again soon. The service was fine, no complaints, but nothing memorable either. My niece and nephew played with the tablets that stay on the tables. They seemed entertained by the games. I tired to order a drink with it, but it wouldnt let me. They were pretty busy, so i didnt want to bother them to ask why i couldnt order a drink. Maybe next time!

Pleasantly surprised with this location. I hadnt been to olive garden in a while and the last time I went it wasnt so great. This time everything was perfect. Every worker that we encountered was happy and provided great service, especially our waiter Maximilian. He came back to refill our waters, soup, and bread sticks many times. I never had to wait for anything and I love that. He was also in a great mood, cracked jokes, and made it a fun experience. Food was all fresh and not over seasoned (like so many chain restaurants do). Kids meal is a great deal, too.

Somehow in my 45 years Ive never eaten at Olive Garden. I stopped for a late lunch, I was concerned because the parking lot was packed, but I did not wait to be seated. My server was outstanding, the wait was reasonable considering how busy it was. The food was good. Was it the best Ive ever had? No, but it hit the spot and I have no complaints. Overall this location gave a very good first impression, for a chain that has a less than stellar reputation.

We had a wonderful experience dining for lunch at Olive Garden on Iron Point Rd. location in Folsom. This was a mother/daughter lunch date I had with my girls. Our server, Terry made this a lovely experience. He was kind, attentive, funny, intuitive and knew what we needed before we did! We never once had to ask for anything, he anticipated our needs and met each one with a joyful heart and a great personality! I would like to say, the best service I have ever encountered in my 60 years and can’t wait to go back with my family! The manager stopped by our table as well and was also very nice! I had a $50 gift card so I took my best friend there. Service was good. Breadsticks and salad were good. But my shrimp scampi was the absolute worst I have ever had. Very little sauce, shrimp was fine but cold. The asparagus was thin and mostly the stalk. I didn’t complain, but I should have. I will never order shrimp scampi there again. I have $17 left on the gift card, but I will use it at the Yard House instead of Olive Garden.

Good, but not perfect. There was some trash scattered in the parking lot. Once inside, we were seated promptly, and the atmosphere was warm and clean with lots of chatter. The soup and breadsticks were good. Our waiter didnt come by very often so we had to flag down others when they forgot our napkins, and then forgot our silverware. The cheese ziti al forno ($18) was cheesy, but its vodka sauce was bland. I ordered an unlimited bowl ($20) of the sausage with meat sauce (strong if simple flavors) and then mushroom cream sauce with chicken (tasted like alfredo with mushrooms and only a few strips of chicken, nothing remarkable). I feel like I can get similar meals with better service for a few dollars less, so I give this 3 stars.

I would not have given the food to a dog, it was the worst of the worst, it was not for human or animal consumption, it was burned black look like someone has vomit in the food. The best, most tender, savory steak I have ever had at a restaurant. Not to mention the incredible pasta dishes. They offer curbside pick up. Folsom’s Olive Garden is one of our favorite OGs. Tonight, I feel thankful to them. It was 9.30pm when our son’s school graduation got over. We tried calling a few local restaurants to book a table and none would accommodate us since they were closing at 10pm.This Olive Garden not only accommodated us 30 minutes before they close, but also gave us the time to order our food and did not rush us. We had a wonderful waiter named Cameron and even though he is Team Valor and we are Team Mystique he was still an absolute joy. He even explained to us that a huge catering order for a group of 30 was the cause of the slow service. We went to the Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants, not anymore. We were seated in a very noisey bar. We had to basicly yell at each other to hear. After about 15 minutes the bar quieted down, thank God. Being that we were seated in the bar and could see the bartender just talking to patrons made me very put off when it took 15 minutes to get my glass of sangria. We wanted to start with an appetizer being that this was a special occasion, what we wanted they of course were out of. So going with the waiters suggestion we got the 5 cheese dip. It came out scorched and in 1 clump. We went ahead and ordered dinner and more drinks. It took our waiter 10 minutes to bring out the soup and salad. Within 5 minutes out comes our dinner. The presentation on the food on my plate was awful. I ordered the chicken scampi. The dish is supposed the be noodles on the bottom with sauce over the pasta with 5 to 6 chicken tenders in a circle on the top. My dish came out like someone put it in a bowl stirred it up and sent it out. At one point we had to hunt down our waiter to get more bread sticks, it was awful. Then it came time to pay the bill. The bill came to 71.31, my husband gave the waiter a hundred dollar bill needless to say we had to hunt down the waiter again because the change he dropped off at the table was 10 dollars short. We could not help but notice that our waiter only had 2 tables in the bar area so I do not know what the issue was with our service, the quality of the food I know was not the waiters fault . The overall experience is at this point making search for a new favorite restaurant.

This was our first time at this Folsom Olive Garden. Our usual is in Citrus Heights on Sunrise Blvd where the food and service is always top notch.We arrived about 3:30 in the afternoon on Friday and the place was almost deserted and dimly lit. The Chicken Parmi was dried, crispy and almost burnt and had the thickness of cardboard. The Lasagna Classico was flat as a waffle and except for a strong sausage flavor pretty much tasteless. The signature Fettuccine Alfredo was the best part of the trip although slightly on the undercooked side.The bright side was the soup. My wife had the minestrone and a bowl of pasta e fagioli which she thought was very good. I had the Chicken & Gnocchi soup that I could have bought a gallon to go.The waiter was excellent and we were offered a choice of wine to have before ordering which we declined. He was always promptly there to refill our drinks, soups and bread and answer any questions we had.Sorry but I wont be back here and will stick with the tried and true Sunrise location.

Came for pre-birthday celebration for my soon to be 13-year-old granddaughter Ariel our waitress Chloe was amazing and the dessert was absolutely amazing as well thank you so much for making it a special occasion for her !!!!!!

Its a good sit down restaurant for family. Wasnt too impressed with the salad or breadsticks though. I had there lasagna which was really tasty. Not sure if I will come back but the price was descent.

Food is pretty across-the-board most flavor pro files are good and can be a little expensive for 2.
