One of the best olive gardens I’ve been too. Food was all great and came out quickly. All staff was lovely as well. Our server with the curly hair and acrylic nails was one of the best waitress’s, she is very polite. We also had an issue using a giftcard and the manager helped us no problem and was very respectful as well. Overall great experience and will be returning again.

Went as a 6th month anniversary dinner with my partner, and we were pleasantly surprised by their endless pasta event. They serve large portions as the beginner pasta, and smaller half-portions afterwards. The food was very fresh tasting and delicious. The staff was pleasant, albeit our personal server was a tad curt. Could have been she had a long day, of course. I will be returning the next time I am in Irvine.

My girlfriend and I went to Olive Garden and had an absolutely amazing experience! Our server, Julian, was the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.Now lets talk about the food. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo and I have to say, it was the best Alfredo Ive ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. The portion size was generous, so much so that I had to take some home for later.My dining partner had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was equally delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce was just the right amount of tangy. It was served with a side of piping hot, perfectly cooked spaghetti.And lets not forget the breadsticks! They were warm, soft, and just the right amount of buttery. We couldnt stop eating them!To wash it all down, we tried the Bellini Peach-Raspberry Iced Tea and it was the perfect complement to our meal. It was sweet and refreshing, with just the right amount of fruity flavor.Olive Garden off of Alton Pkwy is Italian style goodness of taste and if youre lucky enough to have Julian as your server, youre in for a real treat!

The Best Olive Garden experience I have ever had. The wait times were great, the service was even better & the food was amazing. Ive never had such a fantastic steak at such an affordable price before. The cherry on top was the unlimited breadsticks and soup. I left the restaurant feeling happy and satisfied. Really liked the place! Had a weird smell inside the restaurant though, do not know what it was, but it was overpowering, just a faint smell.Service was great! We went there on a Saturday around 5:30 pm. Wait time was about 25 minutes. Mother’s Day was Sunday, so we celebrated a day early lol.Mana was our waitress and Kai brought our plates out. They were both excellent. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had a really good conversation with both of them when they had time of course.Food was delicious as usual, that is why we keep coming back. My wife asked for angle hair pasta instead of the regular (It was not an issue.) all the plates were well prepared, food quantity and quality were very good.

First time at this location having dinner with the kids and let me say from the moment we walked in we were greeted by two friendly hosts. They had a waiting time of about 40 minutes which I think it’s pretty normal wait time. When we got our table our server Lori came and greeted as well super friendly. Lori went beyond the excellent service, she made us feel as if we were her guests at her home. And well the food had a better taste than other locations we had been. We all enjoyed our time there. Will definitely go back and be requesting to have Lori as our server again, this lady deserves more than 5stars she also deserves a raise too. If many restaurants had a Lori the experience would be amazing. Thank you Lori my kids and I appreciate you and we will be back soon!

Excellent experience. Each dish includes bread steaks (they will be checking every 10 minutes to bring you more sticks 🙂). The soup was amazing at the beginning I thought the soup portion was small but crew members will refil your soupl if you ask. Thanks Ryan for being so kind at the restaurant.

I have been here multiple time and it’s great. The waiters are always checking up on me and are always there to help. The food comes out on time and it is pretty good. It could be a bit costly, but it is worth coming here.

Inside was pretty worn, bathroom was not very clean. Despite it being not busy, we were asked to wait until our whole party showed up before they could seat us. Food was unremarkable. Love the Zuppa Tuscana! Its been a while since Ive had it, but its as good as I remember! The meatball appetizer was great too! Will order for delivery next time. They r open! Today is May 30,2020 and the service is excellent as we r the only ones here. I can see that they have lots of social distancing measures in place and lots of masks and gloves everywhere. The food is tasty as usual and I bought an entree for $15 dollars and they r giving us another one for free so it’s a very good deal. The portions r huge and u will leave here stuffed. The restaurant is very clean and I feel 100% safe to be here

We had Savannah today as our server and she was just so amazing! She made our experience so so amazing!!!!! She was talking with our kids and they were just having a blast with her! The service was quick and food quality is as good for Olive garden. The sitting area is small though and is a little packed.Price for entrees in general is a little on the higher side. Ordered Chicken Margherita (could have been a little more cooked or I should have asked for it that way) and Shrimp Scampi.Also they had $5 cocktail specials.

Terrible experience here, went to celebrate my sisters bday, it was 7 of us, they took about 20+ minutes to ATTEMPT to sit us down, their reason was because “they were waiting for the waiters to be ready” which sounds like total bull to me considering they helped out 5-6 other parties that were there AFTER us, we ended up deciding to leave and go to chilis across the parking lot better. Terrible customer service, definitely need better training. Only thing I don’t hope is that this wasn’t because we were of Hispanic descent because ALL the parties they helped before were white. It is what it is though.

This location is really nice! Whether your coming in for lunch or dinner the place is pretty well managed. Well mannered waiters, for sure. We always do the tour of italy split with salad. They sangria berry and watermelon served on the weekends is pretty good! The breadsticks are always fresh especially if you in the evening since they tend to pick up and might experience a expected 20 min wait that ends up being less, way less.

First of all the smell of the place when you walk in. I was second guessing even sitting down at the table. And also the carpet was in the dining area smelt like it had not been cleaned in forever. Recently dined here with a friend. We enjoyed the Fried Mozzarella app, while I had the Chicken Margherita and my friend had the Shrimp Scampi. My friend had the Watermelon Moscato Sangria and I had a 16 oz Blue Moon. To finish, we had the Docini, three small samplers of their desserts. Service was fast & friendly. Nice ambience. Had red sauce spaghetti with veggies. Comes with unlimited soup or salad. The food tastes a bit plain, had to power it with a lot of salt and pepper. Best thing about the place is the complementary bread that they serve. Very yummy bread!! Overall I feel it was worth the money spent.

I could tell by looking at all the full tables it was going to be a bit busy, but because of the extraordinary service my family and I received by Mark it didnt seem busy at all. Weve been coming to this location for years. However, after this evening, we have decided to not be taking anymore of our guests here. They assume that the soup and salads are being shared even when not. When we asked for refills as usual, the waitress said shed have to charge for two soups and a salad because we were sharing. We appreciate the disclosure, but no one was sharing. Rather, what was shared this evening was an unpleasant experience. We opted to not even bother and went ahead to pay for our refills. Word of advice, please do not falsely advertise when you dont intend to honor or follow through, otherwise, it will not be the last of a legacy diner going out of business.

I dont like how employees are selling alcohol without asking for ID regardless of age, they couldve been more strict against drunk drivers. That shouldve been the top priority. My parents ordered one blue Hawaiian drink. I was 20 years old at that point. I took multiple sips and suddenly the server who was an old guy with blonde facial hair stopped by and asked me and my brother for ID because he noticed that me and my brother were drinking. The server checked both IDs and told us that if one of us drinks it, he’ll have to take the alcohol drink away.And I was shocked until I realized.Looks like every employees did their service poorly, and the reason for that is one: neither of the servers asked for ID regardless of age, and two, you almost risked me and the other employees to have their liquor license suspended.Its not about what you want something, its about what you are capable of, make everything fair. Not treat under ages who cannot consume, especially 18-20. This is the U.S.A. we all should be carded regardless who we are. Thats what safety matters not do whatever we want.Well, if I were a bartender, I have to carded everyone no matter what example I follow.

Not as good as prepandemic, service today was slow, and this location is showing its age. Bathrooms were clean, however the fixtures leak and show corrosion due to age. I suspect the kitchen needs an update to increase efficiency because our plates came out super heated indicating they were under the heat lamps too long, but the servers were running around getting things the whole time. I think the tickets were piling up. The back of house manager needs to either fix the ticket management or the whole back of house needs to be remapped. The food itself was fine for what it is, but obviously could have come out fresher and not over heated. I imagine theyll be here another 25 years without changing.

I do not seem to get orders right from this location. We tried curbside pick up and it’s truly a hit or miss (miss mostly). Orders were incomplete or severely late for last 3 times. There is always something missing including plastic ware, mint candies, napkins or simply an item from the order. When called manager is kind and quick to refund for missed items but that was not the point.I do not recommend this place for carry out.2 stars as we did have a good dine-in experience in the past.Will be trying another Olive Garden in nearby city.

Seeing the good reviews, I brought my little daughter over for dinner. I ordered a childrens minced meat pasta for my kids and a chicken soup for myself. The chicken soup was so salty that I couldnt swallow it and had to serve it with some broccoli and bread. The kid didnt like her pasta either and just ate some free bread. I will never come here again!

Good, but forgot to give me cutlery. Since we were staying at a hotel we had to go find cutlet so we can eat our cooling food. I love Olive garden because its always consistent you always get what you expect to receive. One of the best one of the best fettuccine Alfredos you can find there. Theyre salad is actually the best features there every time I go there I order lots of salad with cheese. Also what they have for parmesan chicken is very good. The part that Im not very happy with is actually there spaghetti with marinara sauce. It does not have much taste they really need to improve that

Wow showed up at 9pm, they close at 10p, I called before I went to make sure they are still seating 8:45p and when we arrive the lady manager says they are at full capacity and wont be seating anyone else. The food is not bad, but the restaurant smells So So So bad!!! This smell like Legoland hotel, which due to lots of diapers in site. Dont understand why they have the same smell here. Anyhow, I strong suggest the owner change the carpet.

We utilize the curbside pickup that Olive Garden offers. We typically pick up from this location 1x a month. They always get the order correct according to the notes. They provide extra breadsticks (per our request), utensils, and Andes chocolates each time too. Our go-to dishes are the kids pasta with meat sauce. Sometimes they are liberal with the meat sauce and other times it feels like they couldve added more. Its always a hit though, my daughter eats her whole plate. She also gets fries as a side with her pasta. The fries are often soggy so we dont normally eat them. If we dont get the fries, we will get the extra side of spaghetti with marinara sauce, but they also offer grapes and broccoli. We also get the build your own pasta, usually with spaghetti or angel hair, and meat sauce. The side of soup is our choice instead of the salad. My husband eats the soup as his main dish actually and he loves it. The pick-up times are sometimes very long, and then it takes even longer once you check-in and are waiting. Other times, they bring out the food right away at the time it says its going to be ready. Its really hit or miss. They are consistently good though, and the staff is always pleasant. 👌🏼

Second day since reopening the dining room, everything was very good: social distancing, wearing masks. The young man who was our server seemed a little nervous but it was fine. Paper menu was one page so it is possibly scaled back, but the taste, quality, and hospitality was excellent. A little wait to get a table in 25% capacity, but well worth it.

First time coming here with my boss for a business lunch and endless soup and salad was spot on! Food was tasty and hot. We got the different soup like Toscana and minestrone, Cesar salad and bread sticks are a must. The meal was spot on this visit as well as others. What adds often to a good meal is the staff and their friendly service. They have a good series of personnel to attend to the individual tables at several times. Really pretty good food for a reasonable price point. The gnocchi soups are great, the bottomless salad is guilt free dining just stay away from eating too many the soft bread sticks that make it a scrumptious meal Because I am a veteran my meal was completely complimentary and I ordered the healthier capers and garlic chicken with the zucchini and, it was yummy enough!

Lunch here is very reasonable in price compared to my company cafeteria. Lots of choices and many healthy selections if you look for them. Unfortunately the last day we visited the kitchen service was very slow because of a lot of graduation parties from the local college but that was somewhat understanding. Our server though made sure we understood that, apologized, and did a nice job to make sure we felt important. Nice recovery.

We had a reservation for 14, but they were unprepared for us. We waited a good hour to get salad and bread sticks, forget refills. Some only ordered soup and that was not even right. Then splitting the check up. What a disaster. They did not tell us we couldnt use the pay kiosks on the table, not did they remove them. We essentially crashed the system. At least an hour to pay the bill. Dessert? What dessert? Not even offered. While the manager did offer gift cards to all, and the waiter did what he could given that he had other tables, it was a very disappointing dinner.

Bread was warm but tough.Chicken Margherita was good but under seasoned. Chicken Marsala was bland and couldnt taste any marsala. Alfredo side needed more sauce, cheese, and salt. It was bland. Eggplant Parmasan was actually pretty good, the breading was seasoned, with enough sauce and mozzarella. Spaghetti side so so.Would I go back? Probably not. Its not that anything was bad, its just that it was unimpressive and borderline Italian.

I am a huge Olive Garden fan, but this is the worst branch I have ever been to. Avoid it if you can.It smells unpleasant from the moment you enter, my portions were all far smaller than they are at other locations, and it took much longer than usual too. Overall, the quality was startlingly low. This branch should be evaluated for quality.--UPDATE: This location has since been mostly renovated. I visited while it was being renovated and was seated in a room that was under construction and should not have been open for guests, then since returned and was seated in a nice finished space and had a much better experience. Hopefully now that the remodel is complete it will be better! However, when I went our waitress told us no salad would be served because lettuce was being recalled...but other tables had it, so that doesnt seem good.

I have never had an experience in a restaurant, where I walked in the door had at least 6 staff members standing waiting to help but did nothing at all and on top of that when we told them how many people were at the party they would keep asking us over and over again while we waited to be seated in an empty restaurant. Now the worst part... The bathroom was disgusting, the mens bathroom has urine all over the floors and paper towels were flooding out of the garbage can and all over the floor, the smell inside made the few people in sick. Also, no toilet paper, and no one was in a rush to provide us with any. After that our party left and so did a few other groups. The staff needs to be retrained and the restaurant needs a good cleaning.

Went in tonight to celebrate our daughters birthday with family and had the best experience. The host staff and the manager Alex were all very helpful in getting our big party sat. 8.17.19-Came here after a long drive from a weekend trip and wanted to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving the hosts looked at us with horrified looks as if we were the last thing they wanted to help. We were a party of two and they stated 10-15 minute wait even though we walked by empty tables. We chose to seat at the bar and I wished we hadnt. There were two bartenders and one looked at us while the other had his back to us and she waited until he turned around to help us out. I guess when theres two hours left until closing, you just throw in the towel. Our bartender was very young and immature. He proceeded to have a very interesting conversation with the other bartender and servers while making our drinks which took 10 minutes to get. I believe either an assistant manager or general came to also have a conversation but then proceeded to brag about not helping guests i believe as they were closing a night prior. But then very two faced asked us how we were doing. Food was okay nothing special but nothing to complain about although my boyfriend said the zuppa toscana was pretty bad. Will be finding out the recipe so I can make it and give him a better experience.

Olive Garden is the neighborhood family restaurant good for all ages. Food prices have gone up, but the soup, salad, and breadsticks are addictive! There’s usually long line if you don’t go at the right time. What’s most impressive is their delivery service! We ordered from catering menu for a large party for delivery (available for orders $125 or more), thinking they’d just drop off the items at the site like Domino’s, but no! We were pleasantly surprised to see two team members with BAGS of goodies to set up the table (using our own table of course), putting on nice signature brown (disposable) tablecloth, utensils, serving spoons, etc. The food was nice and hot considered we’re 20 minutes away from the restaurant. It was a breeze ordering from them; staff were courteous and professional. Their combination selection is pretty good covering salad, entrée, and desserts. Great for last minute get together when you gotta feed people and don’t have the time to do any planning/cooking. We gladly paid the 15% delivery charge and tipped the delivery team. :)

While truly appreciating the Olive Garden experience, as a customer of several decades now, I must say that this particular location NEVER FAILS TO DISAPPOINT!!!!🤷🏼‍♀️ As a employee in Irvine for 18 years now, I have frequently stopped in at this location to pick up take out, on my way home...however, they only get the order correct, perhaps, 3 out of every 10 times....it is literally quite amusing, how each time as we check the bag when the order is brought out, HOW OFTEN, there is an error...we now make book on yes/no will they get the order correct...oh, by the by, the short rather loud east coast accented manager is also a problem, as she will allow aline of 3 or 4 take out customers to stack up, in line, while she demands the attention of 4 employees as she instructs/stocks the take out cups under the front counters....even though our take out orders are out front and ready to go with us....yummmmmmy!! Cold spaghetti and Luke warm salads....

First off they open like 10 tables and then make you wait like 20 minutes even though the whole retaurant is empty. Second the food was literally inedible. I have never spit out bread before but it was stale and crusted in so much salt it looked like someone dropped it in sand. It literally burned the inside of my mouth it was so salty. The only enjoyable part of the meal was when i saw the bus boy accidentally drop an entire tray of half empty wine glasses on his head.

Fast and good food, however employee who brought my food to my car shoved the large bag of food through my driver window rather than asking if i want it on my passenger seat or backseat like they usually do. The food shifted and tipped over...not good.

The Reggie Miller of Olive Gardens--came through in the clutch. We were seated and didnt receive any service for about twenty minutes, but they apologized profusely and comped our meal without a single complaint from us. Our service was fantastic after the initial wait.

Overpriced for what you get. They like to impress you with lots of pasta, and only a few little pieces of chicken. I can spy rip off a mile a way, and this place is one of them. I hadnt been for 10 years and for a $20 lunch I will put my money elsewhere.

This location is mediocre at best, we waited 40 mins to be seated all the time waiting I couldnt help notice a strange foul smell, what was that smell?Our waiter really wasnt willing to help us at all and seemed bothered when asked what was in a particular soup. Service was slow and the food was just fine.I can only describe this place as ...meh

Wonderful setting, convenient location in central Irvine and the food is good! I do not like that they make the salad too salty though. Also, plan ahead to avoid busy hours resulting in longer wait time

About $15-$25 a person with a drink entree, salad or soup and breadsticks. Always great to just do soup, salad and eat all the breadsticks u want haha people are friendly and desserts have been upgraded (because they werent so great. Just remodeled and looks nice.

I ordered curbside pickup that was set to be ready by 6:45. I checked in upon arrival, as instructed, at 6:48. No one greeted me or came to my car until 10 mins after I checked in. I paid in cash and used a gift card which, for some reason, delayed the process for an additional 9 mins. Needless to say, the food was luke warm by the time it was delivered to my car, a full 22 minutes after the quoted time. I dont understand how this is acceptable, let alone convenient.

Walked in on 8/25/17 about 5:30pm. Quickly greeted and taken to our table by the friendly hostess.... and then we were completely ignored for the next 15-20 minutes- no waiter to bring waters, take orders or say hi, Ill be right back.... unbelievable! We walked out and went to the Chilis next door where we were properly served.

Olive Garden is one of my favorite places to go, because I like the Zuppa Toscana. We had good service tonight, even though a lot of people were there to avoid the heat and stay out of the kitchen. Not sure why we had to wait so long, (30 minutes even though we got there at 4:45) However, management is usually ahead of the curve, so I will give them a break today.
