Our server, Liam, was so amazing! He was very attentive, helpful, and super nice. We went for my birthday lunch/dinner around 4pm and it was pretty empty. I also got a free dessert! He recommended the chocolate brownie lasagna and it was pretty good. Really rich.

Wow! Who ever the staff was Friday night 05/19/23 was EXCELLENT! I brought my hubby for his birthday, I would HIGHLY recommend going on their website and reserving table there . I did for party of 2. Waited about 25 minutes around 7:30 not bad. Our server Claire (I believe) was on top of it! Super friendly and recommend the appetizer (so good) & I don’t drink alcohol so she recommend a yummy limeade drink she mixed with sprite (sooooo good)This Escondido location is good! Packed and food was delicious thanks again!

Love Olive Garden since I found them when I first came to America. They have their own take on Italian food and not complaining or putting anyone down.This location we spent a nice visit as our (usual in is Orange County)The few days we spent in Escondido certainly made an impact on me and my Son. Olive Garden served as a nice end to our visit.Had been a while since I had been to Olive Garden (missed you Zuppa Toscana) 🥰😘😋😋The food was on point and the service was excellent. Only complaint was a fire alarm was set off and it seemed way to long to resolve the issue.Food was delicious and drinks were a great blend of sweet and fruit. Time for food to come out was quick too and server was professional.

The food was good. They gave us older breadsticks to start but got fresh ones later. I ordered a cranberry vodka ( Seabreeze) and got basically a shot if cranberry juice and 90% vodka in a tiny cup. The pastas are what you asked for. The waiter we had he was fantastic

After Saturday church service, we stopped in for a bite. We had the unlimited salad, bread, and soup. The Broccoli Italian dumpling cream soup was delicious. Salad and breadsticks are always good. The eggplant parmesan was well below average. We also had the warm italian donuts, which were not what i grew up on. We enjoyed our time, and thats what matters.

Soup and salad were good. The meatballs lacked seasoning. The server was super helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I had written off Olive Garden because the one in Oceanside is horrible, but I really enjoyed my lunch at Escondido. I would go back to try it again.

Not a good night at Olive Garden Escondido. I usually like Olive Garden but found this one mediocre at best. Upon walking in the place smelled horribly of sewage but not their fault as it happens. Sat at our table a long time before our server even approached us. Found him to be unfriendly and unattentive the entire time. Food was okay. Salad and bread sticks are always good and so was the calamari. We liked the chicken and shrimp carbonara but were not a fan of the chicken giardino. We were excited that they had canolis and that they offered traditional, strawberry, and chocolate but to be honest they were the worst canolis we ever had!! We actually ran into friends and told them to avoid the canolis and they replied We already know. Theyre horrible. Anyway the food is the food and we probably just ordered the wrong things but I definitely like the other Olive Garden restaurants better in terms of service

Your regular chain restaurant. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara which tasted decent. The Chicken & Gnocchi Soup was very flavorsome, would definitely reorder this. We had to wait for the breadsticks longer than usual. The server/waitress was professional friendly. Not much of a talker which is fine by me. Overall, it was a decent experience.

I went in on a Thursday at 4:15pm. I was told to wait for ten minutes. Staff were standing around talking and there were almost no customers.I clarified.. its a 10 minute wait?She said yes because there are no servers.She offered the bar and a seat there. The chairs are too high and jammed together.I left.This company makes ok food, but the Escondido location is garbage. I am done going here.

Came here to try my local Olive Garden and it was great! I dined in my by self and the server was super sweet and tentative, checking on me constantly! My water was constantly getting refilled. Overall good service.I ordered the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti with the salad and bread sticks. The server offered to get me Alfredo sauce to dip my breadsticks so I ordered that too, didn’t know it was $6 for bottomless Alfredo sauce but totally worth it! The salad was fresh as always and the chicken was perfectly cooked! This Olive Garden did not disappoint! Will be back!

I also ordered a to-go order and they didn’t put sauce on the pasta, so I just have plain noodles and they didn’t add the salad or breadsticks like I asked for. Service was absolutely horrible, well at least our server was, Mario. Came to our table twice to introduce himself and ask for our drink order. After ordering it took 45 minutes for food...2 tables that came in after us got food before us. He came back once to ask things were, but that was after two other servers approached to see if we needed anything. The place as half full and it was just me and my husband and we didnt order anything fancy. We asked to see the manager he never came to our table. We finally had to wave someone down because we wanted to pay with cash boy did that seem like a chore for them...Olive Garden used to be a place to go...never again...food really isnt that good anymore.

Second time going to this location in a two week period, the first time Jeff was extremely rude at the hosting station, which was uncalled for. It said there was no waitlist on the website indicating they weren’t on a wait, and when I got there five minutes later they have an hour and 10 minute long wait?Went to a different Olive Garden location because the Escondido one seriously needs management help. I’ve constantly had issues at that location. I am so disappointed right now. The picture I’ve included is from the order I just picked up, and when you tell them you want extra Alfredo, this is certainly not extra Alfredo, and then having to repeat yourself three times for Jeff to understand what you’re saying when you have full cell service, is ridiculous. It’s like he has no customer service skills at all. Will be contacting corporate as well. There’s a reason there are so many bad reviews for this location.

Great place for dinner with my family and friends. My wife ordered Scampi seadfood noodles, and my friends and I ordered variety of dishes. Great dishes, salad is great, and the res wines are outstanding. We really did enjoyed our dinner there.18 Sep 2019: Return here by myself for dinner and some To Go for the next day. Wait time is not bad at all for and this restaurant is crowed for a weeknight. I Ordered Shrimp Scampi this time and it was very delicious. The server Federico is outstanding in customer service and recommendation of dish choices.

Came at a busy lunchtime, and having been a Server myself, I was prepared to be patient. Overall it was okay. The pasta is good and the price is appropriate. I love the bottomless pasta deal that they have going on. I really wish that Olive Garden would have an adults only section or at least not seat crying/ screaming children next to you. I get that its a family restaurant, but if I want to have a date night with my fiance, the last thing I want is to try talking over a screaming child next to me. Maybe a grown up wing of the restaurant?Edit: I do not personally feel that I need to discuss this matter further. I have given my honest review. Ive been here several times and will probably be back.

Wonderful, quiet place to stop for a late lunch. It wasnt busy but they only had 3 servers that day so we had a short wait. Our waitress was Wonderful! She took our orders and brought us our drinks and food pretty quickly. She was so nice and got our orders just right. She even put extra olives in the salad because I asked her to put the onions and the hot peppers on the side. How nice! I highly recommend this place on a week day. In the evening and weekends it is more crowded and the wait is a lot longer.

Our server Tony was fantastic! Very nice man and completely on top of our needs. Our lunch and drinks were very tasty. I had the Shrimp Scampi lunch special and he asked if I wanted other veggies in it. Came out delicious! This location is getting a 4 because we werent told of the $3 up charge for mushrooms and the iced coffee we originally ordered was very syrupy. Just entirely too sweet and thick. I wanted to treat my mom to lunch, so I took her to Olive Garden just off of the 15 on W. Valley Parkway in Escondido. It was our first time at this location, and all it took was thus one experience to make us return customers.Hospitality is everything! Before I could even reach the front door pushing my mom in her wheelchair, one of the greeters rushed to open the door wide open for easier access inside. Then we were quickly provided a table set alone, near the bar where the wheelchair could replace one of the chairs that the hostess removed for our convenience without even having to be asked. I liked that. I appreciated that a lot.Our waiter was Ben. Now, if you go to this restaurant, I am sure that all the servers are of good customer service, but ask for Ben if you can. He was cheerful, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing. He made sure we had what we needed, his personality was inviting, and he checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything else. Being abandoned by a waiter and having to leave my seat to get anything is a total turn off. That did not happen at The Olive Garden. And I doubt it ever will. They really do treat you like family.Now for the food! Delicious! I’ve had the Chicken Parmesan at Di Cicco’s and was not impressed. Tasted like a bad TV dinner. But at Olive Garden, I ordered the Tour of Italy and found out exactly what it is supposed to look and taste like. What a huge difference and experience. The lasagna that accompanies it with fettuccini was so good I wanted to slap somebody! Italian cuisine is a deserving title of this restaurant. I highly recommend their Spiked Strawberry Lemonade. Worth finding someone for another two slaps.In the end, I will definitely return to this location for the excellent service, good, hospitality, and comfortable atmosphere alone. But it’s really not a package deal without excellent food I don’t mind paying for, and it is most certainly worth paying for. We received the ultimate package deal, and so will you. Delish!!

When we got there the front entrance was under construction. The wait was not bad to be seated. The service was not great we waited for a server to take our order, but I have a lot of patience so I didnt make a big deal about it I just wanted to enjoy my night. I ordered a glass of wine but they were out of a couple of bottles of wine that I had requested, finally found one that I could enjoy, but it took forever for them to bring it to me. Once the food got to the table I was happy because the food was delicious. Then we waited again for desert. I ordered a bottle of wine to take home and gave a good tip to the last server that helped us.

The food was great and the wait staff and management did their best but every plate we got was dirty, all the silverware we got was dirty, we had to ask 3-4 times to get our silverware in the first place (we didnt get it till after the appetizers arrived) then found all the silverware except for about 3 knifes were dirty. We had to ask 5 sperate times for clean silverware and it took so long we got our entrees (about 5-10 minuets) before we got clean silverware to eat them with. Two people didnt get their soups (we had a party of 8). It wasnt even a busy night. The manager ended up being our server basically. Everyone was nice and did their best but again it wasnt worth going.

One of the male servers was so passive aggressive and rude, i did not ask his name since i didn’t think it would be necessary, but my mom who did not speak english very well would try to joke around with him but since he couldn’t really understand her he became very obviously annoyed and rolled his eyes, he was mainly rude to my mom. He kept asking us if the food was fine and since we didn’t answer bc our mouths were full he gave an attitude and walked away, he was very annoyed with my sister too who is a little baby. the food wasn’t even that good either. i get work is stressful i work as a waitress too, but there is no need to take it out on the families. do better fr.

The service is okay but they always and I mean always get the order wrong, sometimes they forgot things other times they surprise me with something I certainly didn’t order. We ate there last Thursday @ 7pm. Our server Christine was friendly, very efficient and welcoming. We received our order with no delay even though the restaurant was busy. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious and so the drinks. Even though it was very hot outside, it was freezing in the part of restaurant where we were seating and Christine and the manager fixed the temperature at our request. Havent been there in a long time. Always enjoy their salad mostly because I like the dressing. Its mostly lettuce with usually two slices of tomato and two olives for that big bowl. I tried the spicy marinara sauce which was good and spicy. My topping was the vegetables which were very disappointing. I felt like I was eating from a bag of frozen vegetables. A restaurant like that should give a higher quality veggie topping. Drank sangria, it was tasty but a bit sweet for me. Service was good.

Waitresses and hostesses were perfect. Food was a little subpar but lets be honest youre not there for the amazing food, youre there for quantity and atmosphere and breadsticks. We placed our order at 6 and it took 15 minutes to get an iced coffee that was pure syrup and 45 minutes for a chicken parmesan, most everything was slow coming out which didnt make a lot of sense cuz it wasnt that busy. I ordered the sirloin, midrare, it came out Bleu. Waitress was great did all she could and resolved it. However cleanliness was my big issue. The silverware and glassware were so dirty. My water had this weird film on the surface that was just not right. Silverware first came out dirty and one still had crusted food on it. Politely asked if we could get a new set. And I almost died laughing when a piece of trash fell out the roll and still the same as the first. To start off, the breadsticks were way over salted, it’s like salt was the only seasoning they have discovered. Then, I ordered the shrimp scampi and the shrimp tasted like rubber and was “cooked” in a microwave. It was absolutely flavorless with barely any sauce. My asparagus was raw and had no flavor. I ordered more sauce and it took 20 minutes to come, we were already about to leave. Then, my grandmother ordered a dish with overcooked chicken which was very hard and difficult to cut through. Added on with baked cheese to top off the extra overcooked chicken with frozen flavorless broccoli spears. Her soup was also extremely watery. My cousin, who at 10 years old should not be hard to please with a macaroni and cheese dish called 5 cheese zitti, did not even take 2 bites of their food because the whole dish was extremely over-baked. The kitchen was noisy and sounded like they were rolling a truck through the kitchen walls. And to top it off the cost was over $100. After her first bowl of salad, Greg asked if she would like another bowl, she said yes but only a half of a bowl because she was getting full. I kept stealing croutons out of her salad, Greg came by just as my wife was slapping my hand away from stealing her croutons. We all laughed together and Greg went on to serve his other tables and we went about our dinner like nothing. You know what the king of waiters did!?!?! He brought a bowl of croutons!! Yup, you read that right. Between having the bread sticks, an appetizer and soup on the table.. He brought her extra croutons! Greg, Greg, Greg.. my man!! I ordered rigatoni and I asked Greg if they could do a pesto sauce instead of the sauces they had available on the menu. Greg made some magic happen and got me my pasta with pesto sauce. We finished our meal and had a few laughs with Greg.Our bill was about $46 bucks. we paid with card and I put a $20 bill on the table, Greg being the awesomeness that he is, asked us if we wanted change for the $20. We said no, that $20 all for him. Greg was beyond shocked and humbled and thanked us a few times for the gesture of the tip.Greg! You deserve it! You Earned it! One item that does deserve kudos is that a mistake was made on the sauce selection for one of the pasta dishes and naturally they were going to replace it but we accepted the dish anyway and the staff deleted the charge from the bill. We were a party 4 and asked for a booth.They wanted to place us a table for 6, when asked for a booth we are told the one that was being cleaned was closed. However, I have to leave a 3 star review as while our servers were nice & friendly, they also came over to our table at the very least 8 times in a 40 minute setting. We were very jet lagged and just wanted a quick and private meal somewhere so this was very frustrating. We were very polite but I think it was clear we were finding the constant coming over a bit intense. Embarassingly, I even had a mouth full of pasta a couple of times our server came over but that didnt stop her returning almost 30 seconds later and at that point I got annoyed. This is the place for superb customer service and excellent food. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the staff and the GM Mary Ann Zavala with heart warming smiles (the kind that never makes you feel as if youre an inconvenience for showing up towards the end of the night). Leo was our waiter and he was very attentive and made suggestions that saved us money and kindly took the initiative to ask if we needed refils or anything else. The food was excellent as we have come to love and expect at all the Olive Gardens we frequently visit. Our first visit to this Olive Garden location turned out OK.This restaurant is just off highway I-15 in Escondido. Our Waze-GPS got us close but had us going in circles when it didnt notify us as we went past the location. Instead, it told us to turn around and then turn left, turn right, turn left. Waze doesnt recognize the site because access to the parking lots is off the connecting street between Auto Parkway and Valley Parkway.Turning off Waze while we began looking along the odd number side of the Valley Pkwy slowly turned around a small distance from the parking entrance. As we emerged from under I-15 for the second time, we looked up high on the hill at a large build right near the highway to see the Olive Garden sign.To get into the Olive Gardens parking lot on the odd number side of the Pkwy, a road that connects the Valley Parkway with Auto Mall Pkwy hides the entrance. Turning right on that road climbs the hill and exposes the Olive Gardens parking area.As we walked to the entrance, a lady with a small digital pad takes our name and phone number and reports we are #8 on the list, and the wait will be 15 to 20 minutes.Eight minutes on the bench near the entrance, our cell phone rings with a message to enter. The entry area is large, and it connects to large dining areas. Two tables are blocked tables between each guest table.Our waiter arrives quickly with menus and offers to get drinks. We take menus and ask for water. When the water returns, we are ready to order the All You Can Eat soup and salad option. Olive Gardens salads are my favorite because I like their dressing, and you can get salad refills.Our meal arrives in about 8 minutes. There is a large bowl of salad with their famous dressing, two tasty soups, and four wrapped breadsticks. This meal option is easy to eat. Olive Gardens salad is always a good choice. In addition, our menu selection allows refillable soup.This place took more time to find than we liked, but it is worth another visit now we wont need to make so many circles near the restaurant.

I was very disappointed that Angie, a hostess the evening of 8/8/18 (also one of the managers there), was quite rude. Upon arriving she asked how many people in our party and asked us to step aside, that theyd be right with us. She asked other customers behind me for the number of people in their party and names, and she walked away. They took 4 or 5 parties that arrived after us. The other hostess, Elena (I believe), realized we werent being seated and made sure we were taken in next. A huge THANK YOU to her and to the servers working that evening. They sure made up for Angies lack of customer service.Also, while we were waiting on our food another party of 2 asked the server why they were only given a table for 2 if they said they were waiting on a 3rd person. The server took care of them and asked if they mentioned that to the hostess, well surprise surprise, the hostess that helped them was Angie. Looks like she needs some customer service skills.

Never leave reviews but this was a terrible Olive Garden experience. Service was terrible, mixed up the soups, forgot a salad (asked twice), and the appetizer came out burnt with the main meals. Absolutely worst O.G. experience and Ill never return to this location.

Thought wed treat ourselves to a modest 50th anniversary dinner. What a mistake! Mentioned we were there for that celebration. Their reaction? Yawn...Had the hostess explain their latest promotion. Some deal. Take one home free, eh? What they dont mention is that if you order an upgraded item (for an extra $5), if you want the same thing to go, BOOM, you have to drop another 5 spot! Nice.Then after a 15 minute wait for our appetizer, they brought our bottomless soup/salad. 2 minutes later, the upgraded lasagna comes. We hadnt ever started our soup/salad! So, whats it going to be: hot soup/crisp, chilled salad and cold lasagna or cold soup/soggy salad and piping hot (yeah right) lasagna? (after all, the server said Be careful, the plate the lasagna is on is very hot!) Well, we thought that gives us time to have hot soup/chilled salad. Maybe even 2 helpings. (Bottomless.) Well, needless to say, we were never offered more soup/salad and by the time we got to the upgraded entree it was almost cold. As for the presentation, one serving of lasagna looked like the leaning tower of Pisa had collapsed...(I wish you could post images, I took a picture of the lasagna express - a real trainwreck if I ever saw one.)To top it all off, every restaurant we have dined at for over 50 years were gracious enough to offer some sort of complimentary celebratory dessert or a song by the staff or something. This place would have nothing to do with something nice like that. It lived down to its classlessness with a cold, detached Have a nice day. Brutal. We wondered as we departed if any of them even reached being married 50 years how they would feel being treated like that? Yawn...

Specifically the Escondido location (next to chilis and party city) the waitress was an older woman, SO RUDE. She would sigh everytime we asked her for a refill (which we shouldnt have had to keep on) the food flavor AMAZING so hats off to kitchen crew but floor service was horrible. On top of it all we ordered 2 appetizers and they didnt come out until maybe 2 minutes before our food did. Definetly will go back to Olive Garden but probably not to the Escondido location.

The endless soup is decent. If you want a better bang for your buck in my opinion Applebees is probably the better place to gom

This place was ok. The food was also just ok but I mean, its Olive Garden. I got a scampi with veggies and shrimp, which was tasty enough. My mom got eggplant parmiggiana (probably misspelled), it was good but way too much melted cheese. The customer service was excellent, though! I will go back and try the eggplant and just ask them to hold off on the cheese.

The food was great. However the waitress we had, Kayln was not very attentive. Another waitress Sheryl was Fabulous. She saw we has been waiting and came and took our drink orders and delivered them. Another long wait before Kayln came to take our order. Then it was a wait again for our appetizer that came after we finally got our salad and breadsticks. We finally got our entrees. They of course were delicious. Kayln didnt come around to check on us but maybe once. When she finally came around I asked to get boxes. I spoke up and said my husband would like dessert. She didnt ask us. She didnt wait to see if our Grandson wanted any, just went to the register and put it in. But once again, Sheryl to the rescue. She not only put the other dessert order in, she brought the boxes and boxed everything up before Kayln came back. Then we had to wait for the dessert as it hadnt been prepared (according to Kayln) and we were taking it to go. Sheryl ran circles around her. Always has a smile and was very interactive with us. Maybe Kayln is new, I dont know maybe more training is needed, maybe she was having a bad day. Kind of disappointed in the service this time. This was at the Escondido CA location.
