Party of two, we came for dinner, sat at the bar, for fastest seating.We were put at the end of the bar at lower table top. So it felt like a kids table at the bar. While person sits next to you in there high chair stool. I did not like that at all. When the bar had available seats and stools tables available.The food was delicious. But one steak plate came out cold and we requested to servers to re prepare.I was never asked if I wanted a refill on my bread basket, alcoholic drink, or water.Clean restrooms, fair parking.

My family shows up and there’s a 35 minute wait according to the host. They call us in after 1 hour and 5 mins. In that hour we observed 6 young girls hanging out in the front counter just giggling and socializing. I didn’t like that they made us wait long because they said they were cleaning a big table. The restaurant had like 20+ tables available. Bad service from the front girls.My night was going to be ruined but the waiter Andrew made everything better. He was very polite, made us feel welcome and treated my family with respect. Who ever hired this young man should get more workers like him and not like the girls in the front hanging out.

The manager, Mr. Vazquez was great. I had left something in the restaurant and he had it put away safe. Our waiter, Ronaldo was very good. He kept coming back to check on us.I am half Italian so its fun to share a little bit of the food and culture. The music was in Italian. Always have a nice time at Olive Garden in Whittier!!

Saturday 11/18 @21:30ish-22:30(Adding a time stamp so Josh gets the credit he deserves!)Service feels like a lost art. But that was NOT the case while my husband and I were waited by Josh. We came in closer to closing time but that didn’t stop Josh from serving us with a genuine smile and welcoming demeanor.Overall experience, was superb.Short wait to be seated (literally no more than 3 mins). Short wait time to be greeted and helped by Josh. Short wait time for our food to come out! Food was delicious per usual and water refills were consistent.Great way to end a day!

Went for an early dinner about 3:09 pm they gave us the lunch specials that ended at 3:00pm so that was a plus!!! Lucia our waitress was amazing and made our experience Amazing. She gets 5 big stars!!The Fettuccine Alfredo was very good 👍 and plenty of food for a lunch special also included a huge salad 🥗 and bread sticks all for a very good price. I had the best waitress ever. A lot of them dont like to wait on a person alone (smaller bill, smaller tip) but this lady was pleasant and efficient and she treated me like I mattered. The food was tasty but the raviolis stuck together. I also ordered the $6 second meal to take home, which is a real buy.

1st time at this location after many years of having Olive Garden. I love the service and foods. My favorite is Scampi Shrimp and i replaced pasta to Fettecine less creamy sauce, mixed drink and pumkin dessert with coffee. One the table also has menu gadget to show pix of foods to order and pay bills. Im very impressed with it and will be back again.

We stopped in for an early dinner. Overall the food and service was good. I was highly disappointed when we received the Angel hair pasta with marinara sauce with the sauté shrimp all mixed together even when we ordered the shrimp to be completely separated. Then after waiting a long time, we received the shrimp on a separate dish only to see that the kitchen staff just picked off the shrimp from the original dish. We asked for a manager who immediately brought out a new dish, compensated us for the issue and explained that she spoke with the kitchen staff. The manager was very attentive and we appreciated her resolving this issue quickly.

I had a phenomenal experience on Fathers Day. I ordered food for takeout, Shrimp, scampi and fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken the portions were generous, great taste. Juan the kitchen manager was courteous, exceptional customer service, He took his time with my order and made sure that everything was as I Ordered it. my appreciation to the team of amazing cooks that prepared, my order a special thanks to David for helping me with the menu. Definitely will be returning.

Nick was a great waiter!!! He handled our section very well. He always followed up and was serving and attending to 4 tables at once. When we walked in, there were 2 girls and one guy talking amongst themselves without greeting us while we were standing in front of them. Also our drinks took forever to come out and nick told us it was because the bartender was on a break. Our drinks didnt get to our table until our main course arrived. We ordered our drinks almost as soon as we sat down. Supposedly the Manager had to step in and make our drinks. We asked if we could sit in the bar area because there were lots of open tables but the group that ignored us as we walked in said those seats were not available and we could only sit at the actual bar. That was confusing to us because we saw 3 employees in the bar section chatting away showing eachother social media posts as if they were in break. Food was good at least and we liked Nick.

My Sister-in-law, was a manager here at the Olive Garden in Whittier at the Quad. Back when she was the manager, there was great service,servers were clean and neatly dressed. You’d walk in the place it was clean didn’t smell like a bathroom, the cleanliness here has gone way down over the years, the restrooms are horrible, so it’s no wonder it smells the way it does, when you walk in. Some of the servers are really rude. We keep coming back here, because we live so close and with the hopes that it has changed, and unfortunately it just keeps getting worse. The food isn’t at its best. Olive Garden needs to get someone in here that can manage this place better!!

Unbelievable, the quality of this location has fallen so low. Everytime we go we get cold, hard pasta with barely any sauce, and were lucky if they even get the order correct. Like with the Ziti in this picture, I paid full price, and they didnt even give me the meatballs that came with it, but they made sure to charge me for it. I used to love coming here but now everytime I go its a dissapointment.

I’m waiting for the order to be served. I have not been to Olive Garden for a long time. And very surprising that the breadsticks came much later with no plate. We asked for plates ... then had to ask for olive oil & balsamic. 🤔 such a great change in service. Soup of chicken yoke was too salty and the salmon picatta looked better in the the picture on menu. The salmon was delicious and not dry although overwhelmed with the sauce and surprisingly a thin slice. The Spaghetti was okay and amount good for someone who’s not hungry. Time to look for another restaurant. The great part are the servers who are very helpful .

The waiter forgot about us multiple times. Really nice but did not attend to us well. Then the manage came out after forty five minutes and lied to us saying they were backed up. Meanwhile everyone around us was ordering and eating their food. Most of it was cold and overcooked Like it had been reheated and forgotten about again. The drinkable tasted like pure alcohol. After all that they didnt even comp the meal. We got a desert we really didnt want.

Dining in at Olive Garden is always a pleasant experience. When it is time for the waiter to grate cheese on the soups and entries, Ill tell you when to stop is the preferred method to get the proper amount of cheese for each item. It is small and hidden. Ample parking and seems to cater more to take out now. Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Handicap access is hard because the ramp for wheelchair is closed, you have to go around and cant open it one your own.

Well we were there again two days ago with some friends. The service was HORRIBLE!!! The waitress went on break, and no one covered for her. We had to ask the front desk person to send someone. I had given up on olive garden a few years back because the food was atrocious, i.e cold,hard breadsticks. Absolutely no flavor pasta. I did not have high hopes this time but it was requested by the birthday girl so we went and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. Fresh hot breadsticks, very tasty pasta. I did have to ask for a side of Alfredo sauce because it was dry but it was still good. The service was not but I chalk it up to what seems to be an ongoing shortage of help. The salad was old and the 6oz sirloin was 😔 the margarita was missing the liquor so I had it taken back and was given a second shot. I know they have a rule about how much liquor goes into the drinks but come on now rules can be broken a little and no one will know. I know this much the restaurant isnt what it use to be and I wouldnt recommend it . Salvatores in montebello I recommend if anyone wants Italian. Took the kids to eat after school. Entrance is towards the street not the parking lot. Our server made it a special occasion. Bread sticks were devoured by all. I got the Chicken Alfredo with Fagoli Soup as the side. 3 bowls of Fagoli and my servers arm growing tired from grinding cheese I was ready for my pasta. Chicken was perfect. My husband is there right now with his mom. Wanted to take her for Neverending Pasta which is $1 more at this one apparently. Unfortunately, they wanted to try a couple of different combos since she rarely goes but their server told them they need to finish at least half to get a refill or take home. Never been told that in past but usually go to Stonewood or Cerritos. Sometimes you order what you really love but we all know its a huge plate by design & you cant finish it, but are fine with a small refill of something different to get a taste. They were turned off by the requirement, felt forced to eat more, & just want to leave. My MIL wouldve been happy with 2 small bowls, not offered of course.Disappointed to say the least since we went to Cerritos on Thursday, which is great. I ate about a 1/3 or less of my plate, server had no problem bringing me my refill of a bowl and giving me my Neverending topping I paid for. My husband & kid werent able to finish their refill after the 1st plate but no issues if wanted a refill. Never were told or forced to finish our food. Our server got tipped 35% on a $90 bill. I told my husband I wouldnt tip Whittiers server at all. A place that charges more & makes your customer want to leave within 5 minutes of sitting down isnt worth a tip or the $4 he left her. He said she only came to table twice & kept sending other servers to wait on them but food & drinks were slow to come, he had to keep asking for stuff over & over again. We wont come back.*We go every year for Neverending Pasta Bowls since started & 1st time after the 1st year been told what we have to eat. That was only year you had to finish your plate.

I went out to dinner with my sister. No wait on Saturday night at 7 so we were seated immediately. Cesar was our waiter and very friendly, attentive and efficient. He checked back often to see if we needed snything else.We both had chicken marsala. It was very tasty, but overcooked on one side so it was crunchy and hard to cut. Just went to try this location, entering from close to the main road seems a bit odd as its higher and forms a tunnel type effect at night. Had some drinks and had the soup and breadsticks deal. Very surprised how good it was. We sat at the bar area as the main servers had yet to arrive for the evening shift. Drinks were good value.Only down point was the urine smell outside when we left did not notice on way in but I guess the landscape watering came on and refreshed the wee wee.

Terrible customer service. The hosts apparently do not like single people or are simply prejudiced. They said that they do not have seating. But I pointed out to a table that no one was seated at. They said that it was booked or taken.They wanted me to sit at the bar. I said no. I pointed out to the round tables at the bar, but they said that those were closed. They said I will have to wait 15 minutes. I agreed since I drove just so that I can dinner at this restaurant. I have never been to the Whittier location. And, although, I did end up tipping her, she really did not deserve it.The food was a bit dry. When I pointed it out to the server, she told me she can bring me some sauce. Not only is service bad and prices higher, curbside pickup is becoming a joke. We came for our order at 5:15pm as the email directed. We could see they were very busy so we didnt mind waiting a while longer for our order. All of a sudden its 30 minutes late rand still no food. Being handicapped, I usually appreciate car pick up. Food was Olive Garden Decent, but what really messed up the visit was these weird gnats that kept trying to attack our food. I saw him calling on the table trying to go for my food and I tried to swat him away and he crawled under my plate. So I had to take my napkin and wipe him off. This happened about five more times. We told our waiter and he exclaimed, oh, Im sorry. He had a disappointed look on his face, but nothing else. We packed up our food to go as I was very diligent in making sure there was no gnat on it.I think I will stick to my soup salad and breadsticks next time I go to an Olive Garden. First I would like to say I understand we live in a different world now. Being short staffed has become the new normal.That was not the case today, we arrived and got seated immediately and that was the end of service. After almost 15 minutes of no contact from any server or employee we left.Now during our time there waiting I watched 3 servers argue about who had to cover which areas, numerous other servers cover other tables. Let me start and say the ordering through the app was easy. However when I arrived I noticed cones in some parking places so a parked just across from them then I read on the app that I needed to park in a To Go parking space even though there was a attendant walking around with a tablet. The soup was only half full and the app stated that they are very generous NOT! It said that you would have 2 servings. Its lucky if it was one bowl that you would receive if you were dining in. Now for the pasta both the Chicken Alfredo and we added broccoli now the Alfredo sauce wasnt enough to cover the meal it was very dry and the other meal was Five cheese Ziti and the sauce was also very dry. Through this pandemic I have to say Olive Garden is the one place that the food is always fresh and always hot when you pick up. It’s the one place where the food taste as if you where dinning in. We had several other places that it’s just not the same as if you were to dine in. Olive Garden in Whittier has always given great customer service, but specifically my last visit they went beyond. First as soon as I got there the worker was very polite and can to greet me at my car, I had checked in via the App already but he asked if there was anything else he could get me and he would make sure it came out quickly. My food came out and my car wouldn’t start, the same worker came over to make sure I was ok, and next the manager came out to jump start my car. Now they had several other customers to wait on but they took the time to help me and it really seemed like it was not a bother, like it was just the standard of customer service they give. As Whittier being my hometown this olive garden is the one i visit the most. This evening i came as a party of one and was quickly seated which was nice. My server was named Carlos but i must say it was clear to see that i was his last table to be sat before he went home. Unlike all the other guest i wasn’t offered a complimentary wine taste like usual. Carlos was tad bit quiet and didn’t mention any specials to me. Luckily, i overheard the specials from the sever who was helping the table behind me. After she assisted her table i asked for her to give me a list of the specials and she did. She checked on me occasionally even though i wasn’t her table which i really appreciated. After her checking to see if i needed a refill on my drink i had to get her name because she was doing an excellent job at not only taking care of her tables but taking care of me (Carlos last table). I was eventually then transferred to Natalee. So thank you Natalee. I was having a hard day and you made all of the difference. I hope next time servers who are about to go home don’t get seated again because it’s not a good feeling when you feel like your server is eager to leave while you’re just trying to enjoy your dinner.

They close half of the restaurant and make it to the point where even if people walk out they have you wait an hour and thats if youre lucky on that day. My girlfriend and I have a weekly lunch date and this week we chose Olive Garden. By the look of the parking lot we thought that the restaurant was crowded so we turn the corner and sat there and tried to decide what we were going to have for lunch. Since neither one of us could come up with another suggestion, I suggested that we go ahead and go inside the restaurant and see how busy it was. To our great surprise there was no waiting! This restaurant is not very well maintained, the outside is filthy with trash and the restaurant is very worn inside. The ladies bathroom was dirty with towel paper all over the floor and didnt look like it had been cleaned in quite some time.We were a party of five adults and one child. We were seated fairly promptly but waited and waited and waited because our waiter wasnt at work yet.After our food finally came, only the child and one adult had their food prepared correctly. It took four trips back and forth to the kitchen to get everybody to where they could eat what they ordered.But, the chicken gnocchi soup had been sitting there all day and was past serving quality and none of the other food had any type of flavor or seasoning in it. It almost tasted like they were frozen meals that had been put in a microwave.The two exceptions to this would be the breadsticks and the salad which were good.This seems to be the case of a good restaurant at its inception and has just gone downhill from there. Maybe they are cutting too many corners and relying on pre-packaged foods. And if this is not the case then they need to get some qualified help in the kitchen and in the dining room.

Today we Visited this Olive Garden to celebrate my birthday as this is one of my favorite places. Today’s experience was not very good, we had 3 different servers in the 1 hour. My wife and my son ordered Ravioli porta bello and both were served cold and almost no sauce. My wife ordered a desert to be brought to the table to celebrate my birthday and it arrived in a to-go box. The last server whose name is Chris was explained by mi wife in Spanish of our dissatisfaction with the service and the food and he went to get the manger. A few minutes later came back with a couple of $10 gift cards and said the manager only spoke English and would not talk to us.This is totally disrespectful and flat out wrong I was at the table speaking fluent English to him. I love this olive garden. My family and I always come here because its very nice and the waiters are super friendly. We live in Los Angeles and we go all the way to Whittier just to eat here. They always attend us very quick and they are very helpful. This restaurant can be packed most of the time but there service will still be excellent. If you have trouble picking an olive garden i really recommend this one!

Dont Utilize Olive Gardens curb side pick up they will make your wait 20-25 minutes, and my husband had to physically walk in there to get our food. spent over a $100 last night only to get hard cold breadsticks and cold food. The girl that answered the phone was rude and told me dont go to corporate they wont do anything put me on hold and hung up. There excuse was they had a big rush of people yet the restaurant was empty.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ive been coming for years and after this last time I went, I wont go back. The waitress brought the wrong plate entree and didnt bother to bring the correct plate my father ordered. When I tried to pay I wanted to pay half cash and half with card and she try to pull a fast one on me. The waitress tried to keep $50 dollars cash and charge me the entire bill on my card acting like I wouldnt notice!!! Shame on them!

This weekend I hurt my achilles tendon and although I was in pain, I agreed to take my wife and kids to Olive Garden for dinner. I didnt have crutches and it was obvious to Valerie the manager on duty. She realized that I was hurting as I hobbled into the restaurant. She immediately took my family to a table. There was standing room only as it was very busy and she knew I couldnt stand. She not only took care of the situation, but she did it on a way that made me feel like I was her family. Had a very bad experience after 3 years of not coming. Went with family to eat lunch. We all places out orders, after almost 20 minutes of waiting for the waiter to come back to take the order and finally being bread sticks. Took another 20 minutes to get any food, but was only 2 meals, soup and salad, not the appetizer that was ordered or the childs meal. The 2 people completely finished eating, already another 20 minutes still no waiter or any other meals. Finally they only bring the sampler, but its cold, noticeably its been sitting in the warmer for a while and still no meal for the child. Its really unacceptable service, any restaurant will bring appetizers first then kids then meals. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Lets face it, Olive Garden is the McDs of Italian food. A decade ago people use to come dressed up to enjoy the good and service and now people just come as is. The food is a good. So call it cliché or what but I brought the girlfriend here and let me tell you that I was surprised. Today is valentines day and even though it was a last minute change to olive garden our wait was a mere 5 mins to be seated and our waitress was very polite and attentive of our drinks and plates. Gave us good choices on drinks and never let the refills stop. I must say that the stuffed ziti with shrimp and scallops was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Olive Garden has gone down hill!I had the 6oz steak, fettuccine with zucchini and it was horrible! Steak over cooked, zucchini raw and fettuccine dry; I asked waiter for sauce on the side and was never brought any! My brother had lasagna, he said it tasted like the beef was mixed with Turkey meat. He ate most his, I left mine, and we both said on the way out we will not be back! A big expense for bad prepared food. Waiters nice, but dont do what you ask. Also had ice tea, just ask for water!
