The food, salads, and chicken soup was great! The service was amazing! My only negative comment would be the nat flies that are flying around. I would like to see more of a pop and pictures to bring it more to life.

We came to pick up our food and the girl who brought it out to us was just fantastic! Her name is Serenity and She was super sweet and made sure there was no onions in our food(allergies). She came out with our food super quick too which was awesome!! friendly people like serenity really make this Olive Garden worth coming back to again and again.

Food is pretty good if you are looking for pasta and salad. I also enjoy their soups. Minestrone is a personal fave. They have a very good Chicken Parm and I also enjoy their Shrimp Scampi.The service is fair and servers are nice. My server today, Theresa, was excellent! She was very friendly and professional. My food came out promptly, which I really appreciated because I was on my lunch break. I come here frequently and shes always taken care of me. She even remembered my favorite items to order. Shes the BEST!Ask to be seated with Theresa. You will not be disappointed!10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

A lot has changed since I went to Olive Garden a few years back. The food I felt was better as well as the service. We came on a Sunday and got seated fairly fast, and was actually here to celebrate my kids bday. One thing to note is that they give you a free desert for the bday, which was quite nice, and we loved that they sang to my daughter making the day more special.FoodThis was when things were a bit rocky. We always come for the soup and salad. One of the best soups in my opinion is the Tuscana soup paired with their salad with the famous Olive Garden dressing. The spinach and artichoke appetizer was great, and the warm donuts for desert was also really good accompanied by its chocolate dip. The Marsala Chicken Pasta, chicken was a bit salty, leaving us quite thirsty, and we actually had kids meal pizza, but for some reason they brought something else, but quickly changed it. The breadsticks that have known seems to have changed, not sure if it was us but it didn’t seem as good as it was before. Also with the soup or salad, we never got asked if we wanted any cheese which was one of my fondest memories of eating at a Olive Garden.The place was packed like always, with a ton of people waiting, and note that you must be there to get on the waitlist as I was told you cannot over the phone or on yelp.Maybe the next time we decide to come our experience may be a bit more different, until then.

It was a bit of a long wait for a Thursday afternoon but the food and the service were worth every penny. The value of the lunch menu was also impressive. I had the best eggplant parmesan Ive ever had. The crisp texture was amazing. Our server was bubbly and friendly. What a great experience! Sorry I didnt get any photos. I was too caught up in the moment.

02/12/23After Sunday Church Lunch. This place is quick when serving your food and their services are pretty decent. I like how we only stayed there for less than an hour because we are rushing to do our errands. We enjoyed our main course and we had unlimited refills of our Garlic Bread and Soup.I highly recommend this place if someone is into lots of carbs. Hehe..

I recently learned that there is a new system within Olive Garden where you can add your name on their online list where you can see you waiting time and when your table is ready. When asking the staff if this the same as making a reservation, they told me it reduces your time and lets you know when your table is ready, which pretty much translates to yes, this is a reservation. I walked in with my party and waited about an hour, while seeing others who had just arrived, allowed seating. I was shocked because I didnt know how this system. Hey Olive Garden, at least acknowledge that YOU DO have a reservation instead of lying to customers saying that you dont and dodge the question. If you plan to come to Olive Garden, use their app so you dont walk in and wait for hours upset at the fact that others who did use it and just arrived are allowed seating right away.

Stopped here for dinner after seeing a movie at the AMC Montclair. I ordered the steak and pasta (which is served with fettuccine alfredo, but I substituted spaghetti w/meatsauce). I ordered my steak medium, but it was cooked medium-well and had to be sent back. When they brought it back they gave me extra pasta (nice touch). The service was exceptional. It was New Years Eve so I left a 50% tip. :)The interior is one of the nicer Olive Gardens that I have been to.Good experience. I would definitely visit again.

Had a great time tonight celebrating my daughters birthday! Dario was our food servee and he was the best one I have had in quite a long time, over all the restaurants I have visited lately, extremely attentive. The food was great, had the tour of Italy, perfectly cooked. Had the cheesecake for dessert which was also amazing. Will definitely be back.

The food was horrible. The soup was barely lukewarm and mentioned this to waitress. The next bowl of soup was even colder. The seafood pasta was only shrimp. The waitress was clueless and they weren’t even busy.Prices are higher and service and quality is lacking. I do not recommend this place anymore. Try Spaggi or Spaghetti Eddie’s instead of lukewarm microwaved food.

Stopped by this location Sunday afternoon. The food was great. Our server wasnt the girl who took our order. Apparently, she left and didnt tell us. But whoever took her place was great. My only issue with this location was the hostess. Both of them seemed bothered when i checked in as it seemed I interrupted the gossip. Then, when I got a text message, that our table was ready... I got a what response. Luckily, I was in a good mood... What...is that a message that our tables is ready was sent to me. Then her attitude changed to oh what was the name again. Other than that, everything was good. But these young ladies are the first impressions customers get when visiting, and if I wasnt with my kids, I would have asked for a manager or went elsewhere. Thats the only reason I didnt give five stars.

The Olive Garden in Montclair has a Waiting List on-line that you can put your name on with the number of guests so you dont need to be there and sit (or stand for the most part) for 90 minutes or so.. It will update your number in line so you know when to show up.And show up you should!! The food was perfect and our waiter was, Jarod, was attentive! This, by far, was the best meal at a restaurant experience Ive had in years, hands down! I ordered the shrimp scampi and my husband the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and both were great! Plus, for the first time, I ordered to take home the spinach-artichoke dip: ALERT - It was HEAVENLY!! Really awesome with the bread they serve with all meals!!!

Our server Audrey R was an amazing server, very respectful and very kind service with a smile. If I come back I would be asking for her, the food came out on time and she made sure we had everything and that our drinks were full before we even had a chance to ask for another refill. I was craving some Olive Garden and the food was great. The server however was horrible. She asked to place our order on their greasy tablet. The food came before the salad, I asked for a 2nd salad and she slams the plates when she returns with 2nd salad. Server did not communicate with the runner and pushed my order to get us out of the restaurant. Food was cold by the time i ate it, I was never rude to her or complained. Do some better training.

Overall the food is precisely like other Olive Garden locations. Service could have been better, am used to better service in other Olive Garden Locations. Food overall was okay, but the salad was not great. Barely any red onion, and the chunk that was present was huge, a one inch by two inch piece, had to cut it up. Tomatoes were mealy, and had very little. Lots of olives though. Lettuce itself was not great, imgaine it would be thrown out the next day. I am used to the salads being awesome, clearly was not.Soup and breadsticks were fine, entrees were fine also. When asked for a container to take home leftovers was only given a small container when clearly needed a larger container. (Makes you wonder what kind of supply issues this location has.)As for seating, I was in front of a large window, which overall is fine, but people walking by is distracting and honestly makes me feel bad cause a few of those folks looked hungry, feel bad for asking for a 2nd basket of breadsticks. Now I dont know if that is more of a statement on myself or the location, but Olive Garden usually does a great job of creating an environment where you are dining in an Italianesque restaurant, the 3 tables in my area do not have this, and I dont know if this should be changed or not. But I can tell you that I shouldnt be having to think about it in this review, this is not an issue at any other location I have been to.Staff were ok, not great, just ok. Took a long time for refills, overall got feeling wait staff were focused elsewhere.Looking for an Olive Garden, you may want to fully consider all optoins for Olive Gardens, there are no less than 3 others within a 10 minute drive.Entrance, seating, restrooms, and parking are all accessible.

I arrive to the restaurant and get sit fast. We order NEVER ENDING SOUP AND SALAD AND FIVE CHEESE ZITI AL FORNO. The first soup minestrone was cold, they changed but it was still warm and not hot enough. The salad was always good just with the onion chopped like a big piece and it didnt look nice. The five cheese al FORNO wasnt hot. They changed and brought another one, the same wasnt hot enough. I ask for another minestrone soup it was cold and the waitress spill some on me. I dont know when I will be able to come again.

Usually theyre better than this. I requested no onions in my salad and it had onions (a lot). I picked them out one by one and the lettuce was somewhat wilted like it was premade and sitting for who knows how long but I didnt mention this to the server. When I received my entree it looked very toasty on top (cheese). When I started eating it I realized it was over cooked and some of the raviolis were rubbery around the edges. I couldnt finish it. Yuck. Id had enough and told the server who notified a manager who saw the plate and said right away that he would deduct my entree from the bill. So 2 stars for the food but I gave 3 stars due to the managers handling of the matter.

This chain of restaurants is a first rate one. They serve very decent Italian food, with very friendly environment and affordable price to some extent. I can say all stuff is friendly and helpful. However, during weekends and holidays it gets so busy that you may need to seek alternatives.

Hugo, the manager, and Thomas, our server, are our heros!!! They saw my elderly grandmother distraught and not eating. These angels made her a special, tiny meal and dessert. They made sure she took meals home for the tough days ahead. Hugo and Thomas made sure to hug Grandma through her meals and on her way out. They told her to come back anytime, and this is where you come to be with family and eat good food. ANGELS!!!

This is such a wonderful place to eat at if you want great customer service you really need to come here. I really love how all the employees work together how sweet and nice they are and how helpful they are. Unlike other restaurants where everybody seems distant from each other this place has an extremely friendly atmosphere so I would definitely keep coming here and the prices are really not that bad and the food is so good

My friend & I went to the Olive Garden for an early dinner. We were seated right away. I ordered what I typically order which is The Tour Of Italy. The entree consists of a serving of Lasagna, Fettuccini Alfredo & Chicken Parmesan, plus your choice of side soup/salad & soft warm bread sticks. The salad/soup & the bread sticks are all u can eat. I ordered the soup which is either Minestrone/Chicken Gnocchi. I went w/the Chicken Gnocchi. Its my favorite soup from the restaurant. For those of u that dont know what this soup is I would compare it to a Chicken & Dumpling soup meets Cream of Chicken, but much more tasty. Our waitress was very attentive.until the people seated behind us began to complain about something in which they got the manager involved. During this time our waitress disappeared for around half an hour. All I wanted was a box for my leftovers & the bill. That is my only real complaint. The food was good although I couldnt finish it.

The waiter we were paired with did an excellent job and remained professional on a very busy day especially when they were understaffed. The other waiters on the other hand did not seem to care that were seated next to the kitchen doors where we can hear them bad mouthing the tables they had. Pretty sure I heard a staff member argue with their coworker and cursed them out. I feel sorry for the manager too because they talked a lot of smack about them. It is possible that its their chef alongside all of their employees but, the food is amazing. We order many of the Alfredo dishes that the restaurant offers and we request for extra Alfredo sauce since so good. I was very disappointed with this particular order! It was an early Xmas dinner with my grandkids and I spent over $100 on food, my destination was probably less than 5 min away and our food was cold! It did take awhile after I let them know I was there to pick up! We all had to reheat our food, not satisfied at all especially for the price paid, I shouldve went to mc Donalds!

We enjoyed our visit at the Montclair Olive Garden immensely. Its a friendly meeting place for friends and family. Great service at the bar, where I ordered a glass of Chianti and met a friend I hadnt seen in awhile. Great service and impeccably done dishes including my shrimp scampi which was not overcooked. The soups the salads the pasta the bread everything was great!

First off, we got the table which is in the family room and it was really nice because we were literally in our own section. It felt nice and private for us. They accommodated us because we had a baby with us.We loved the food. And service was great!

The Chicken and Gnocchi soup was delicious! Always great food at the Olive Garden. Our server was okay, he was very busy to the point of rushing around, and that spilled over to his attention to us and not waiting until we were done with our sentence before he left the table.

Had lunch here today and was let down. This location has such close seating yo other tables that our meal was ruined by people watching videos on their phones and having no courtesy to turn the volume down or the fact that your at the table eating didn’t resonate with them. After they left the next people to occupy the table were talking on their phones the entire time and being so loud we could hear everything. We were there for less than an hour, I had soup and salad my Chicken & Gnocchi soup was so runny and had no flavor! I wasn’t asked if I wanted another bowl of soup once or if we wanted more salad, our drinks were refilled and our server came back and was like “when you want to pay just do it here unless its cash” we paid and got the hell out of there, it was so liud and we had no privacy to talk and enjoy our lunch. Will never come back to this location

It felt like it was all made and warmed in a mic. No freshness except the bread. My favorite is the chicken Gnocchi soup and it was horrible no taste and so watery. Service was good!

Spaghetti was good but salad looked like old bagged lettuce. Waiter forgot my spaghetti and everyone else was done eating before I received my meal. I would have asked him about it if I could have found him. Ugh, I wont go back to this Olive Garden
