My partner & I have not been to Olive Garden for several years and we wanted to check it out since its been too long.Our server was not friendly. She made facial remarks after I said I would like a lot of cheese on a side plate. Our food came 1 minute after we received our soup and salad so we did not get to enjoy it. When asked if we can get our drinks to go, she only brought one for my partner. I had to kindly ask her if I may get one too. I was not pleased with the service and will reconsider coming back again.

Went to dine at Olive Garden in Cypress on Katella Avenue as I had work in that area as we walked in the restaurant there were two hosts on the left, taking orders for takeout. No acknowledgment.Main host stand - There was nobody standing on the main host stand, and from far right side a girl start walking towards the host stand she did not make eye contact or acknowledged, . She had her head buried down as she walked up the stand she looked up and said how many I said 2, and without any word she started walking towards the left side of the dining hall with menus on hand . my back towards the door she did not care to point in the direction she was taking us, as she walked ahead she abruptly stopped at the first left-hand side table which seemed like a handicap section which had one chair one side, and this was facing the kitchen all the servers, Bussers, walking around the table.I looked around the restaurant, I saw a booth against the wall I said, could we sit there ? She said, let me check she acted like she’s getting on the the headset and asked somebody she said OK .I was really surprised why she made a decision to make me want to sit in that uncomfortable seating .we sat in the booth She didn’t say anything she did not inform us what was going to happen next if my server is going to come .Next… few minutes later a young gentleman walked over his name was Vicente very nice very jovial very personable had a very smiling face. Got us going, we started appetizers Vicente helped us pick our great suggestions . I am still disturbed by Eliana’s attitude all this time I’m observing that seat she said other people in the restaurant but she never asked anyone to seat in that table and pretty soon the restaurant start filling up because it was getting busy for the dinner time but at any time she did not ask anybody else to sit at that table that she wanted me to sit down.I don’t know it’s my brown skin or I don’t know if i looked like I cannot afford Olive Garden, but she made a judgment call of having me sit in that table right in the middle of the restaurant facing the kitchen where everybody’s walking I would have ended up having a lousy dining experience.while sitting over there eating my dinner, it was eating me up. It was bothering me all this time I kept documenting if anyone is seated there . The kitchen manager Julie or Julia, very professional asked if the food was good, when she came came to the table.My bill was $77.10 I was very happy to pay with 18% tip . When leaving we walked towards the host stand, and that girl Eliana was standing. the guest with me asked if you guys have any toothpicks she didn’t even look up. She just totally ignored. There was another young gentleman standing on the left side he pointed towards the toothpicks, and then we left.I have been to Olive Garden many times . It’s a class organization for some reason this experience left a very bad taste in me for the host to discriminate me treated me like I don’t belong there .A host is a person is a face of your restaurant when a guest walk in if the Host doesn’t have a pleasant personality or at least happy to be working, even if it’s fake and not give directions to the guests that is a bad start of a dining experience .Eliana she absolutely ruined my dinner. I didn’t mind paying hundred dollars for the dinner that’s the least of my concern. I think Eliana is racist . I thought you guys would like to know .thank you..

I am a frequent costumer here I come here almost every week. I’ve been coming here for years, but the manager Nishith Mehta is extremely rude and today was the second time I had a bad experience with that man yelling at me. He has such a hostile attitude. Instead of helping resolve an issue for a costumer, he yelled at me. We ended up cancelling our food and only paid for the appetizers and drinks. I love Olive Garden but having to see this manager every time I come here is not worth it. And if you wanna avoid having your family dinner ruin just don’t come here. Go to another location for your own peace of mind.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. I got seated within 5 min, especially when kids are running around and going nuts in hall way. I had a birthday and right away they asked my what desert out family member liked. They cam and sing happy birthday. While eating, my child hit his head as he tripped and fell. Right away they brought me ice. Wasn’t the best birthday as expected but thankful for the hospitality

Their salad is good but as usual, it needs onions. The easiest mistake to make is overcooking angel hair pasta, and Olive Garden takes the easy way out here to be sure. However, my server was superb and her assistants performed well. Id recommend this location based on service alone.

Hadnt been to an Olive Garden in some time. The food was much better than I remembered it. Both the pasta fagioli soup and the rigatoni with meat sauce were delicious. The restaurant was packed to the rafters so you cant really blame the servers. They were extremely overwhelmed and overworked. All in all a very good experience.

Great food great service. The biggest negative is the screen device on the table. It lets you play games but on the top right in very very small type on the top right its a $3 charge for that. Not the fault of the staff but very sneaky of the software company who designed that interface.

The people that work here are very judgemental and they stick together if they dont like you. A previous time I entered and the employees started laughing at me and my sister for no reason whatsoever we decided to eat somewhere else. This time I was seated and served after I started eating I decided to go to the restroom and the employees decided I was done with my meal, which I wasnt I still had my whole drink, my whole salad, all of my bread, most of my spaghetti was still there. They threw away my whole meal. I came back from the restroom and I was like what the hell, I could have just walked out, maybe I should have. My server was coming with more food and she was also surprised at what happened. She replaced everything and she was really nice, but after I left the food made me really sick I think the cooks put something in the cheese sauce, it tasted funny, not good, like something was wrong with it. The people that work here have hate problems and need to keep them to themselves. There was a server that seemed gay and seemed like he really had a problem with me, I have a lot of gay people in my family and I love them very much. We are also a multiracial family so there is no hate in me or my family of any kind, I show kindness when kindness is shown to me, real kindness not hypocrisy.

Great Food. Classy ambience. Good for classy dinner dates. Service depends on who was your server and the time of the day maybe, had mixed experiences on service.I once ordered create your own pasta with crispy chicken topping and it was extra salty! The quantity was a lot if you order an entree since it comes with free breadsticks and a choice of soup/salad, i say the price kinda justifies the quantity!

Food was good and so was the service. Just oddly apparent that whites and people of color were separated. They didnt even try to hide it. Just thought it was so strange it was almost laughable. Hubby and I knew where a person was going to be seated before it even happened. I dont care if it was Asian, Mexican, or Black you were in one side of the wall and then all whites were seated on the other side. Didnt care (& still dont), it was just... strange lol.

Had a great dining experience here on our last visit. The food was good, but it seemed the seasoning was a little off. What made memorable was the service we received from Ricardo. WOW!!! Felt like I was going to a high-end restaurant or something. He was very patience with our family--it was busy but took the time to check on us regularly and refills were coming fast. Really happy to see someone put in the extra effort and delivering a great dining experience for us.

I ordered takeout the other night and wanted to give the location and team a shoutout. My family has ordered takeout from this location since Covid and they have consistently expedited our orders correctly. I wish other restaurants in the area would adopt their method of checking off each item on the receipt as it saves a lot of frustration, uncomfortable discussions, and returns to pick up missed items. So we havent been to Olive Garden in a couple years, it was my wifes B day this is what she wanted for her Bday. Food was ok I mean its a chain restaurant so I wasent exspecting anything crazy. But the service was horrible. Our waitress basically ignored us the whole visit. She kept apologizing but nothing improved. She kept forgetting our soup and would forget and we would ask for drink refills and she would disappear. From a fatboy perspective, there are plenty of other places to go but you be the judge cheers!

Self-pay kiosks at every table help me since this location is far from my home and Im in a hurry to get home as soon as I finish eating.For several months they hadn’t gotten crowded on Wednesday nights but on 9/20/2023 they did. I was seated in the corner and felt forgotten about. I had to use the “call server” button on the kiosk after sitting for 15 minutes. The breadsticks are usually three per round; but this time it was 2 the first round and only one the second round. Y?!?!? And Y no mints after I finished eating? I think the servers need better training or they may need more servers for when they get so slammed busy.

My shrimp pasta was good and the salad. The kids menu isn’t the best not sure if I would go back but I might. I remember OG back in the early 2000s it was the best!. Service at the bar is usually really good but today with Shannon it was surprisingly underwhelming. I really dont understand bartenders with the mentally of gate keepers like just bring me a tray of breadsticks, not 2 at a time for my party so I feel like I should literally get half of one as i eat. Was not pleased with the waitress. She took a long time to come get the money. So I took it to the front (which I was told you need to give it to our waitress). So I had to wait for the waitress. At that time someone was helping her with the closing of the bill and then she went to get change. The bill was 49.61. I gave her 3 20s and one quarter, 3 dimes, a nickel and a penny. Which the change was exact. She brought me a 10 dollar bill and change. I advised her I shouldnt have got any change and 11 dollars. I wanted to give her a 5 dollar tip. And she said all she could give me was a 10 dollar bill. Which we know thats not the case. So instead of spending more time disagreeing I just gave her the 10 dollar bill. Very very disappointed.

Came to this olive garden and it took them about 14 min to even acknowledge us. We had like 4 different waiters walk around us and none of them asked if we have been attended. Very disrespectful. They clearly need to manage their waiters better. Our drinks were never refilled and we ordered all you could eat breadsticks and soup and we never got offered seconds. Food wise everything was delicious, I got the tour of Italy. Its good for if you are indecisive like me. You get small portions of 3 different entrees, also got the chicken and gnocchi, best soup at olive garden. Breadsticks are super delicious. Overall I rate this olive garden 3 out of 5 stars and even then Im being generous. Clearly I will not be coming to this olive garden again. They have some serious management problems.

Its not what it used to be, but now, what is? No pasta dishes with beef. If youre lucky youll see a chicken one or with meat sauce. They used to have beef stuffed shells and Cannelloni in past years. Now, to get dishes like that, you need to go to real Italian restaurants like Francos or other local private real Italian restaurant in Cypress. But what can we expect from a corporate owned restaurant nowadays anyway? They have stock holders to answer to do they do just enough to get by. I will say that the Pasta Vigiole and bread sticks are still true to their past. Only reason we came is because we got a gift certificate for Christmas, otherwise this is not our go to for Italian food.

We started using the Cypress, CA Olive Gardens take out during the Covid shutdown event. The quality of the food was generally good. Last week we ordered three take out dinners.My Grilled Chicken Margherita was just OK.My wife said her Seafood Alfredo entree didnt taste as good as her previous dinners.My sister--in-law actually got up and put her Lasagna Classico in the microwave because the noodles didnt seemed completely cooked.This was the first time we were not satisfied with the Olive Garden. All Olive Gardens are about the same. It has Italian food at reasonable prices. This is not fine dinning and expensive Italian food. If you want that go elsewhere. This is a chain.What sets this Olive Garden apart from some of the others is the service. It is just the best. You are greeted the minute you walk in. We were seated right away and a server was there in seconds to say hello and get a drink order. He was so very nice, especially, to my Special Needs grandson who could just not make up his mind and asked a lot of questions. Our server was so patient.He took our order and our salad and soup and bread sticks were out in a flash. He checked on us several times and helped my grandson pick out dessert. He also helped me with the bill which you pay on the little game machine they have at each table. When we went to leave everyone at or near the front of the place thanked us and said goodbye, everyone. We were made to feel special and I will go out of my way to go back to this one. This was the type of service you would get at a high end eatery, just much friendlier.Parking is a breeze in their large lot and it is free.The food is very good. Again, this is not some fancy Italian food, and the prices reflect that. It is exactly what you would want and expect from a mid price place.We had soup and salad and they give you as much salad as you want. There were two of us, and we were given a huge bowl and did not need to ask for more because we did not finish what we had. We had soup which was very tasty. I am not a huge fan of their bread sticks but they are good. For dinner we had Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara and Ziti. They were both very tasty and we were happy. For dessert my grandson had some sort of cake which he loved.We will be back. Have fun.

Fantastic for big parties! We served 40 people with 4/10 person meal orders. We had a lot of extra food. Great for kids meals also for your order with mac and cheese or others at a great price. $17/person before gratuity. My bestfriend works here (which doesnt make me biased because Im super critical) but every time I have gone even before she did the service was phenomenal and the food always tastes fantastic. Update: Went back today. Food is still really good. Hosts seemed like guests were being bothered by people coming in. Leaning on desk, just point people to partys and not help lead them. As we arrived the hostess was kind and accommodated us with a booth. They walked us to the north west room where there was only one family. We had 10 after church on Sunday for lunch and we were given a private room. The large round table is perfect for visiting, the Lazy Susan for the salads works great and Olive Garden lets us have separate checks. Its annoying for the kitchen and waiters, but its extremely convenient for us as guests. Meal was sumptuous! Some had their entrees, the salad was refilled, extra rolls were brought and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. Good portions & great flavor we felt like we had it all. I am very very disappointed by the employee that they have working here. My sister who had dinner with her friends decided to have a meal here. After they were finished with their meals the waitress proceeded to tell one of the costumers “are you sure you’re finished it looks like you were hungry” it’s a disgrace that restaurants are opening up and are treating their paying costumers like this. The manager did come over and apologized on behalf of the waitress and dinner was on the house. How ever there needs to be training in regards to good costumer service. However, we left because at that point it had been 45 minutes of us trying to get food, and we were starving, upset, and embarrassed by the ordeal.This restaurant seems to be incompetent when it comes to seating and serving folks. The above incident was at 7pm on a Monday, but I have been to this location for lunch a few times. During lunch we often have to wait for 15 minutes for a table, just to go into the dinning room and see at least 8 open tables.I love Olive Gardens, but skip this location.

Overall the only thing Id say them and any other location cant get right is the lasagna. They love to burn the bottom of it. And even when you ask for them to not burn the bottom of the lasagna they still cant get it right. Sometimes they try to hide the burnt bottom by putting more sauce on top. But if youre like me and have no problem turning your lasagna over, youll quickly reveal their magic trick. Id say my lasagna success rate is a little over 50%. This location just got renovated not too long ago. So its fresh and new. The people are always nice and very helpful (except when it comes to the lasagna, lol). Very good food. (I got the chicken parmesiagna ) The staff was excellent and the waiter was extremely polite. I never had to ask for a water refill or anything. I was happy with everything and the promptness in which all my food came out. I would definitely recommend this particular location and the chicken gnocchi soup and chicken parmesiagna. Plenty of food, large portions enough to eat and get full and save some for later. Also unlimited breadstucks and soup or salad and free wine tasting, whats not to like?

They took to Long to bring our food, we had dinner Sunday 26, June 2016.They made a huge mistake in our order, they gave my plate to someone else in our table, plus the friends who were in our group had to wait toooooo long after they made the mistake with our order.We didnt want to make a big deal about it, but really, after no apologies, our conclusion was, They dont care about their customers. Waitress were more interested in taking their break.We believe that if we would choose Taco bell across the street, they would provide more professional service.

I had the best server. He was most caring. The food that was another thing. I ordered thr ravioli with cream sauce. It was an under cooked dish. So had you needed a knife to cut the ravioli.

The service was attentive the food was good, there were two things I would update, the touch screen available to order doesnt have all menu options, that is misleading, and the option to pay using the same is not clear, we waited too long to pay due to that particular lack of information. If they plan to use those devices they need to explain such as soon as you are seated.other than that all good

Service was exceptional! Food was good too. Try the green fizz on the kids menu. It was so good! The best way I can describe it, is a cotton candy hors doeuvres, combined with a light, sweet, green apple soda to enjoy throughout the meal. Maybe get one for dessert too.

The food lacked flavor. They gave me a sangria filled with ice and the server said “ I don’t make the drinks I just serve them” when I mentioned that there was a lot of ice in the glass. Just a poor experience overall.

TERRIBLE customer service from the General Manager, hostess, and servers.My family and I decided to have dinner at the Olive Garden in Cypress on Katella Ave for my Nieces 11th birthday. On a Friday night we were obviously aware we would have to wait longer than usual. The hostess told us it would be an hour wait. We were okay with waiting due to the obvious circumstances. The horrible service begins before it even starts. After waiting for at least 35 mins, everyone that was waiting before us had already been seated. Which only meant we were next. This is when we start noticing that the hostess is seating new customers without having them wait the same way we were. The hostess also continues to repeatedly glance outside the front door hoping that our party would leave to avoid seating us. After 50 mins of watching all the other customers being seated without waiting, we kindly ask the hostess how much longer it would take. She responds You havent even waited an hour yet. We take initiative to see whether or not they truly have the space to seat us, and we suddenly see a huge table set up for us that they refused to have us seated in, hoping we would leave.We remain patient. Once an hour hit, they seated us right away. Seems like they were purposely having us wait exactly an hour with our table ready beforehand? Discrimination maybe? Not quite sure. We are finally seated. The tall skinny young man with the pony tail begins to take our order. However, with his lack of patience and communication skills he begins to rush our orders and even begins to get aggressive by pointing at the menu, and even begins shoving dishware to side to set the menu down on the table. He seemed upset that we didnt end up leaving early like they wanted us to? Maybe. It is evident that the server lacks knowledge and details for his own menu because we ended up with a mess of wrong orders. Not to mention one of our orders did not arrive until everyone had already cleaned their plate. It was ONLY THEN that the servers begin to apologize. The General Manager, a blonde lady, comes to our table knowing that were upset with their horrid customer service. She was nice enough to AT LEAST come over and apologize and give us the last order free for taking so long. Thanks, I guess.We had previously stated to the first server that were there for a birthday. Not once did they sing happy birthday to my niece like they did to the other customers earlier that night and even failed to offer a dessert. What really surprised was that even the General Manager failed to show compassion by failing to acknowledge my nieces birthday. The fact that the general manager lacked customer service skills was astounding. However, it all became clear. The employees are only a representation/reflection of their leader. We all ordered the buy one take one home deal. It was the icing on the cake to receive the wrong orders to take home as well. At that point we were just too exhausted to say anything else. This place needs a lot of work. NEVER going to an Olive Garden again.P.S. Food was mediocre.

We picked up our order to go. Super fast, easy to park in the designated to go spaces. In and out in a matter of 3 minutes with tasty, hot food. A little disappointed that it costs so much, though! $23 for lunch for one person is expensive.

Honestly, I dont hate the food nor the service. What I do hate is that Olive Garden delivers but only through their website and of a $50 minimum purchase. I live by myself. Even if I bought a meal for a night and a second for work the next day, I still wouldnt make the minimum purchase. Please, do something with Uber Eats or Doordash or any of the other delivery apps.

Had a large group of 28 people for lunch, so service was a little slow, but the wait staff were orderly and patient, answering any questions, took care of our drink orders, then the food orders, then any drink, bread, soup and salad refills, then put any leftovers in containers and gave us our chocolate mints. My lunch shrimp scampi and minestrone soup were yummy!

I love The Olive Garden (Im Italian & Irish) and the Knott Avenue, Cypress location has been my favorite for years. The Tour of Italy is my Favorite menu item with Soup, Salad, & Bread sticks of course. The Cocktails and the Flavored Teas are yummy in this hot weather. Try the Calimari as an appetizer. The first time we ate at this location we were promptly greeted and seated without any wait whatsoever, and that was the end of the good...We sat there for more than half an hour before we were acknowledged, the table next to us was seated, ordered and eating their entrees before we had a drink order taken. No apologies from the server that ignored us for all that time or anything.So we order, then he comes out and tells us they are out of lasagna for the taste of Italy trio or whatever they call it. So go with it, we sub ravioli, when he brings back the food there is lasagna, now its what we ordered, but by that point I was kinda looking forward to the ravioli. The food came out cold, I guess while waiting for them to microwave a lasagna or something. And never once did he come around and refill our drinks.So I spoke with the manager and she was appalled and comped the meal AND gave us a $25 gift card to come back and give them another chance. Which we did.Second visit. Service wasnt much better, but worse we got sick on the meal. I dont think watching my girlfriend puke all the rest of the night is conducive to a return visit. I called and spoke to the manager who took her information and had someone from the insurance company call her to make sure she was ok and not going to sue.My 2 cents, AVOID THIS LOCATION. Worst Olive Garden I have ever been to.

Ive been to several Olive Gardens, from Rowland Heights to Oceanside, and havent ever had an issue. However, my new boss took us for our first day lunch here and I got incredibly sick later that night. I spent the whole night throwing up the salad, so my best guess is either the salad produce was not clean or the dressing was not good anymore. Im not coming back to this one and I dont think Ill be able to go back to an OG any time soon.

Well anytime ive eaten in olive garden the service is polite and professional but just cant kick that feeling of being rushed. Stick with the salad love it. Entrees are to salty loaded with butter and the herbs run off onto all the items served on the plate making any entre you order taste a bit funky. Obviously the food comes vacuum packed thrown in a microwave then plated sloppy. As i mentioned earlier stick with the salad.
