Food: You can not go wrong with the soup and salad special during lunchtime. I also ordered the endless dipping sauce of alfredo, and it went perfectly with the breadsticks. Soups: Chicken & Gnocchi , Pasta e Fagioli, Minestrone (v), Zuppa Toscana. The chicken and shrimp carbonara is my all-time favorite!Service: one of the best Olive Garden locations in the Orange County area. The server was friendly and kind. The place is clean.Final thought: perfect place to eat at before going to the mall.

This review is for their to go ordering. They have special parking and a special pick up desk as well. Makes ordering takeout super easy. Containers for food sturdy and lids were fastened tightly. Food was still hot 10-15 minutes later. Thumbs up

The food was really good. A regular meal is at twenty dollars now. On their menu, an individual can create their own pasta for like thirteen dollars. They have a special if you order a regular meal, you can purchase a frozen meal from them for like six dollars.

My friend and I went to Olive Garden Brea Mall today. I ordered Shrimp Scampi with some shrimp as an appetizer, while she chose chicken parmesan.The waiter was nice, however he forgot to bring us the appetizer but instead served us salad and soup.We received our food 25-30 minutes later, and after 3-5 spoons, I found HAIR (Female hair) in my food. I called the manager, and he came to find the hair, but he never apologized and it seemed like something normal for Mr Jack Win. he offered to replace the plate, but I said no, I dont need this gross frozen hairy food, and please remove it from the bill.Later, I researched other reviews and found that this isnt the first time theyve done something like this; theyre well-known for it.

This one is interesting. Usually when I get the chicken gnocchi soup, it comes with pieces of chicken. This one seems to have chicken skin? At first I thought, well it cant be skin. It must be lasagna or something. Well, it has all the characteristics of raw chicken skin—rubbery, fatty, and a very weird texture. It may look like a small piece, but thats because I took a nice bite out of it, so the rest is in the trash. Pretty disgusting.

I love the unlimited soup and salad. The first waitress was stressed and couldnt really focus on taking our order. Fortunately she passed us on to another waiter who was very very polite but for after lunch no rush hour, we only got severed one refill.They maybe told to avoid refilling especially on unlimited orders. Dessert is very good not delicious but barely worth the price.Plenty of parking shared with mall, visible from street. Nice ambiance. Clean restrooms.

The Olive Garden restaurant in Brea is remodeled and very nice and clean. The restrooms are luxurious and clean. Service there is courteous and fast. Dont forget the special build your own pasta plates that feature your choice of soup or salad. Of course we all know that Olive Garden has delicious soups. And the warm breadsticks are a delicious addition to your meal.

Went on Sunday 3/26/2023 around 11:45 am. The hostess with the short shoulder length hair was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! She seriously lacks basic customer service skills. It was obvious she didnt want to deal with us. Since when do you tell a paying customer youre welcome to leave and storm off to the kitchen? Our server on the other hand was amazing.

Front desk and wait staff are pleasent and friendly. The reason for the low rating is the quality of the food. We went 3 times in the past 5 months and the quality of the food was terrible Every time!! The entrees were under or unevenly cooked or over cooked, bordering on burnt. When the kids want to eat Olive Garden, we make the drive to Buena Park Olive Garden because Im tried of paying for a bad meal.

I have been a loyal customer to the Brea Branch for years. Its my husband favorite restaurant and I decided to take him there for lunch on his birthday. Service has definitely changed. The check in was chaotic, other guests were complain because we were given incorrect wait times. After we got sitted, we were asked the normal question, are you celebrating a special occasion? We told the waitress yes, celebrating hubbys birthday. She said leave room for desert. Well.. that was it. After they took our order and food was brought out. there was no follow up on refills, didnt even get the check. We just paid using the kiosk and left. Still waiting on my husbands birthday desert 😅Is not the first time we received bad service at this location, but it was the last.

Just left the Olive Garden we got in everything seemed good. The hostess took us past other people seated at booths and tables . But she kept going to the back room where there was only tables completely empty. We asked for a both she again took past the area that had empty booths but there were customers in there and sat us at the bar. Where the bartender although pleasant seemed to preoccupied. Not five minutes after she stuck us in the bar she took two groups back to the booths. I asked her why she didnt give us that booth. Only to give it to someone else who arrived after us. Her excuse was bull. She said there wasnt a waitress there. But only five minutes later there was. And if so who was tending to the customers already seated there? I believe the hostess working today Wednesday November 9.22 at 11:10 am is racist towards certain people .why elseWould she have treated us like that.We had to leave three interactions with the bar tender and he still didnt take our order . He seemed to preoccupied to give us good serviceI dont think this is good for a restaurant to have people bent on some personal vendetta working there. What a shame to I was really looking forward to having lunch there. We went there last week and had a good time. It was our first time there sence the lockdown.We were hoping it would be a good place to go . But on bad employee and Im looking for someplace else to eat. Shame on you.

Everyone was really nice!The hostess taking names outside was very engaging and nice, the hosts inside were very polite and nice, our server was super attentive and nice, even the management was thoughtful and, well, nice!Im sorry I didnt think to look at names, but we were in the little cafe area around 8:00pm. We had our server and I think the other server came over just to clear dishes. Olive Garden is not worth it for the price, all the entrees are around $20 and there’s other Italian restaurants that have much better quality food. My main dish was shrimp scampi over angel hair, with asparagus & baby tomatoes....delicious! My server Julian was the best- professional, bright & cheerful. With all places, Covid definitely took its toll on restaurants. However, Olive Garden in Brea has always been a great spot. Staff is a little scarce due to recent events but service was still great. Food was as great as always. We always come for bread sticks and salad. My only issue of course is just the wait time to be seated. I think we just had an off day were they didnt have enough coverage to sit many groups. Overall, it was a great experience aside from the waiting.

Seems like the last few times here theyve tried to rush us out as fast as possible. We ordered an appetizer and our entrees and before we got the salad/soups or even the appetizer, our entrees came out. The appetizer was the last thing to come out. I usually love the food, drinks, and service, but finding a long hair in our salad was unbelievable!!! We got a new salad, but that was it. And the ladies restroom needs a deep cleaning and or a complete remodeling: dirty and broken ceiling tiles, loose, hanging pot lights, old and broken paper towel holders, cleaning equipment stored openly under the sink, and the floors always look dirty, and their smell comes into the reception area.

I took my Mom here, as she loves this place. I am not sure because of the food or that the staff recognize her. The service was great and our waiter may have been too attentive. I like how you can pay via a little machine on the table. Bread sticks are amazing, but the soup and salad seem to be made for the masses. It is one of those places that does quite well for an older crowd.

I believe the servers are stretched too thin. Orders for the meal and dessert took a long time. My coffee didnt come until after we finished dessert. Our server had a great attitude, but the dinning experience was simply substandard. Also the chicken was overcooked on the bottom, and the tiramisu had ice crystals in it.

10/16/20- This was our first time at this Olive Garden, Brea. We were super blessed to be able to dine-in as a family and then we had our waiter PABLO. He was attentive and courteous. Great customer service, made us feel right at home. His customer service was on point!Food was out quick and delicious, we waited for about 40 mins, took a walk to the mall and came back right on time to sit in. Our experience was overall a 10. This Olive Garden branch was very welcoming and ridiculously quick. On Valentines day weekend, I took my wife out without a reservation and the wait for a table was 30 minutes with crowds of people around. After we were seated, our food came at a normal pace, as if they werent rushing at all. They handled everything extremely well on a hectic busy day with a lot of pressure. The hostesses seem to be confused about seating people and times. One hostess says the table is ready and another says no, theres a wait. The service is subpar and slow. The management shrugs their shoulders and seem to care less if customers come or go. Olive Garden food is delicious but enjoy it at another location. The Brea mall location isnt great, poor customer service just ruins the entire experience.

Edited review: I left a review for this location about two years ago. 5 stars, great food, great service, etc. My edited review is unfortunately now 1 star after my 3 most recent visits.Something went sour here after the remodel last year. Interior looks amazing but looks can be deceiving. New booths and carpet do not make up for the watered down soups and Alfredo, the sub-par service, and the tasteless entrees.All of the good servers are gone. It takes forever to get drink refills and food takes forever to come to the table. Whenever we are ready to pay the bill no one ever seems to stop by the table to drop it off. We have to chase the servers down to ask if the ziosk bill is correct just so we can pay and leave.This used to be my favorite restaurant and now I am so disappointed to come here.

At the bar I ordered Calamari appetizer $11, it was a nice start & enough for 2 to share.I let the hostess know we were there for a birthday & I watched her as she clicked b-day on the screen.We were seated. The broccoli that arrived was about a palm full and it was mushy like what you find in the bottom of a frozen bag.My date had the trio, and enjoyed it very much. We ordered two of the $5 meals you can take home, and they were refrigerated.Unfortunately the birthday was never mentioned, not a one birthday wish or any recognition of birthday. Which was disappointing.I raided the three stars its nothing special. And I doubt if Id go back unless somebody else absolutely wanted to. Honestly Im not sure if stuff is made fresh, or if they just heat it up like those $5 meals.

I do want to warn you though, its by the Brea Mall so going in there after 5pm it gets busy and wait time are about 30-45 min long. Plan accordingly so you wont have wait long. My family and I arrived close to 5 and we got seated right away (lucky). I like the make your own dish/pasta for $11.99, which comes with either a salad or soup of your choice. Sometime 1 salad is plenty for 2 and it wont fill you up. I think the artichoke dip was a little overpriced but its yummy. Family of 4 with no alcohol beverages this time cost us about $90.

This location is decent. What I have an issue with is this locations strict covid policies. Specifically the amount of people per table. For some reason they cannot accommodate 8 people per table (in a sectioned off area) but other locations also in orange county are allowing it.Its a chain restaurant so I understand policies. Now that we are required to wear masks, the staff of OG wear masks, but strange thing the persons cleaning the tables wear a mask but NO GLOVES! if you are so concerned about the spreading of covid germs, then why not wear gloves when cleaning off the tables and touching the silverware, glasses, plates, napkins, table, etc from the customers after they have left? It doesnt make logical sense to be so concerned about a mask, when most germs are also on peoples hands. No one wears a mask while eating, yet we are required to wear one. Parking is in the rear, a small lot for about 10 cars, but then many street parking spots are available. This is a no frills restaurant, although at this location, the server we had was stellar, as in, should be working in 5-star fine dining stellar.If you dont know about Olive Garden, their claim to fame is their soup and salad, which is a reputation they deserve. The chicken & gnocchi soup is one of the best soups around, and the salad is always light and delicious. Midrange pricing, good value for what you pay. Excellent service. Pleasant surroundings.I only wish the entrance was on the same side as the parking - a long haul for wheelchairs and walkers.

Great service. All pasta was horribly overcooked. The lasagna was practically dissolving, the angel hair was very mushy. The ingredients like asparagus and sausage and shrimp had great flavor. Its just that everything was cooked to death.

This is the second time i have gone to this location and the smell inside is really bad. Maybe close the grease trap and try cleaning the floor properly. Very disgusting. I am here with out of state family and my aunt from the next town over. If I were not with others i would have turned around and left before getting to the host counter.

I love the food at Olive Garden. The salad is always delicious no matter which location I go to. The service is always great. I wont recommend a specific dish because every dish I had was delicious.

Utterly disappointed.. have always thought of Olive Garden as a solid main stream restaurant, but its become painfully obvious that something is dreadfully wrong here. Dirty, musty, stinky, unkept and bland low quality food demonstrate that something internal is severely broken. I dine out with my family 3/4days of the week and observe all aspects of restaurants from service, cleanliness, food quality, atmosphere etc. Olive Garden is in need of a complete overhaul, until then we will not be back.

Great service, ordered Buy one Take one dinner for lunch. Delicious garlic chicken w/pasta...which allowed me to order another meal, cheese ravioli w/marinara (cold & w/heating instructions) to take home at no cost.

Used to love Olive Garden, but for some reason this place has diminished across the board. Food is mediocre, not very clean and waiting to be seated at busy times can be very unorganized.Still love the bread sticks & salad though.

Would have scored better, but our server had so many gross piercings it turned my stomach to look at him. People do not look their best when working with the public anymore.
