One of the better all you can eat Korean BBQ in the Western states. The waiters are very attentive and there is no waiting for your orders. The grilling plates are switched out very regularly. At $33 per person, its definitely worth it considering the quality of meats and side orders given. An OLÉ for OLLEH !

Came for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon around 2pm. We had to waited 5-10mins for a table. Not too bad.We chose the premium menu ($31) instead of the prime ($41) considering that the premium menu has what like already. Soft drink at this location is by can not all you can drink. A can of coke is $2, a bit pricey.The meat quality was good and tasty. The kimchi riceThe service was good. The waitress kept coming by the table to checkup on us.Why the 4 star instead of 5? A few of the side dishes we want were out.

That’s a very dirty restaurant with a cockroach was on the chair and they don’t clean under the griller was tooooo much oil and my video and picture will proof what I’m saying. Plus it’s a very poor service and not understanding English!!I will never get back here again.

This place is great! Usually there is a line in the evenings but so worth waiting. Staff is friendly and food is great. Premium menu has so many different options, staff members visit table pretty often to change grill or add extra food/drinks. Been there few times and coming back again. Highly recommend!

HOLY MAKGEOLLI, BATMAN!This place is legit guys. Their kitchen offerings (we had rice paper, corn fondue, tteokbokki and the superior fried kimchi rice which everyone should try its effing delicious) were awesome. The selection was varied, perfectly portioned and there were lots of options. 👌👌We didnt wait at all, even though the place was crowded, which is always a plus. We were in and out in about 45 minutes 🤟Service was prompt, super friendly and very professional. The servers (and even runners) were smiling the whole time. I dont know what they put in their family meal before service, but Ill take some too!Price was standard for a Korean bbq spot. $30 for regular menu, $40 for premium protein offerings. We had some strawberry donut, but they did have the yogurt soju for those inclined.These guys deserve your patronage, so go here.

Olleh, what happened? You used to be so good! We went last weekend and were sorely disappointed. The kalbi and bulgogi were poor quality meat, not even a good color. The meat was a little tough and tasted off, like it was old. The banchan choices were limited and bland. I think the kimchi was store-bought, we didnt even eat it. Perhaps worst of all, the bean paste was runny and tasted too fermented. Thats usually my favorite part of the meal, but I couldnt even eat it.

Tasy and fair priced! Ill be honest Im not a KBBQ kinda guy, I dont like cooking at home and I dont want to cook when I go out. But... If you go with a significant other or friends who know what theyre doing this can be quite the treat! My girlfriend and I went out with some friends at Olleh and we had a great time. Make sure to come nice and hungry to make the most of your money as they charge if you waste any food.

This is the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, hands down. I’ve gone here multiple times within the span of a year, and not once have I ever been disappointed by their service, food, or cleanliness.The price to eat per person depends on what menu you order from, and it is a bit expensive, but it makes sense with the amount of food and quality of it that you eat.The staff are all extremely friendly and will either help you with whatever you need or will get another waiter to help, since the restaurant is usually always packed. They’re extremely kind and patient, and also very hardworking.The food is always top quality every time that I’ve eaten here; From the rice to the meats and fish to the kimchi, you’ll order more and more to the point where you get extremely full. I promise it’s that good.The parking outside is shared amongst other restaurants and stores, so it’s pretty difficult to find an open spot later on in the day, especially because they open in the late afternoon.I highly recommend eating here to anyone that wants to try KBBQ for the first time. It’s beginner friendly, and all you can eat!

Food and service is great as usual but manager: PLEASE TURN ON THE AC, especially when the outside temperature is 100F. We are so sweaty inside and it’s even hotter by the grill. Fire was too weak to grill meats at the table #8. Typically korean barbecue comes with frozen meat, and if the fire is too weak to grill, it tastes just too bad which is the case I experienced at this table.(I found that the fire is only on small portion of the grill as attached in the picture.)I complained to our server, but he said I cannot do anything. So, I wanted to see the manager or owner, but I could not see anybody. I felt that the server didnt care about our complain.The server said We have had already many complain about this, but I cannot do anything nowAlthough they already know this problem, but they are not willing to resolve this issue. just weird. replace that table having this issue !!!!!

This is the best spot in San Diego for Korean bbq. I like this restaurant better than TGG, Manna, Prime, and Gen. The service is always fast once you are seated. The servers and bussers check on you always and clean as they go. I wish it was better Ike TGG but I feel the side dishes are better in flavor and quality than the other locations. TGG has the best ventilation out of all the locations, I don’t walk out smelling like bbq at TGG. OLLEH I do smell like bbq but it’s so worth it.

The restaurant said is all you can eat, but actually they only allow you to order 20 shrimps and no more. When we order more, the kitchen refused to bring more to us and told us they ran out of shrimp, but in fact they have large number of shrimps in the kitchen. This is ridiculous.

Horrible! Been here multiple times before and always had a great time no issues! Very few food places we actually frequent and so naturally we wanted to bring some friends from out of town here. 4 times weve asked for BUTTER to cook with and each server gave us a weird different response we dont have it...we cant give it out...our boss is weird about giving it out...our manager wont let us... WE OFFERED TO PAY and they still said no!! Okay well let me get the BUTTER GARLIC SHRIMP then oh yeah youre right, let me see if I can get a side of butter NO RESPONSE AFTER. Even worse, they gave us bare minimum service after that! Hardly attentive to our table, avoided contact as much as possible, and all around just almost ignored us. Weve had butter multiple times on our previous visits with no problem. Safe to say this is our final and last time-not coming back.

Good food, but not ideal for large parties. Refused to allow our group of 9, seated at 2 divided tables, to order different tiers of meat because we could, “pass meat back and forth” (gross!). Then, at the end of the meal, they refused to split the check into more than 2 portions. After complaining vigorously and escalating to the floor manager, we were told they could allow 4 but not more because it was “the policy”. I thought this was a restaurant, not the DMV…

This place was completely amazing! it was me and my families 1st time here as well and our 1st time experiencing Korean BBQ and we had the best time. The food and meat selection was awesome and the service was outstanding, highly recommend and will absolutey be coming back and worth the money. I definitely recommend you bring a party of at least 3 or more and if you are sharing the bill bring cash its easier to split the bill. If you want to save some money come during lunch hours or happy hour after 8:30pm, but Im honestly telling you its completely worth every penny. Wait staff was not very accommodating and when plates arrived, they were slid across the table instead of placed. Table was not completely cleaned and still very greasy from the previous occupants. When dishes were being bussed, it sounded like they were just being thrown into the bin so it was unnerving as we tried to enjoy our meal. Needless to say, wait staff, if you are tired and stressed, take a breath- don’t take it out on the customers by giving attitude, intentionally or unintentionally. Very poor customer service & unpleasant dining experience.

First and last time going there. Parking was about 30min. Waited another hr to be seated. Food was comparable to other Korean BBQ places. We were a party of 10, but we didnt get to sit together. It was only us 5. 😕 I recieved my bill everything was perfect. Then the waiter comes back and takes the receipt and brings me another one with a gratuity fee. I asked him why and he said because we were a large party, I explained we didnt even get to sit together or socialize with the other ppl because we werent close to eachother. The manager was useless. He did nothing about it. I was extremely disappointed by their greed. I wouldnt have had a problem paying a large party gratuity had we sat together and I was able to socialize and have a good time with my whole family. So yeah they really left a nasty taste in my mouth for $6 because I was going to tip $20 & the recipt gratuity fee was $26.Moral of the story check in separately. You wont get to sit together anyways.

Dinner with family. Birthday celebration. Men were full with the beef that we ordered. Daughter had special egg dish. I enjoyed spicy rice dish. Pork and beef sliced thin. You cook it yourself. Its important not to have the heat up to hot. Get the oil in the dish and pour in meat before you put it on to cook. It turns out much better. Enjoyed it. We will go back.

False advertisement menu says $24.99 and it’s $30.99 and they add 18% tip. We were told by the waitress only 4 choices of meat per person. We asked numerous times. Incorrect We were a party of 6. As a business owner myself bad criticism is good as good criticism because you know how to improve your business and customer service. I gave them the opportunity the person who answered the phone will not give his name I will not see if he was a manager or not that’s a red flag right there. He was very defensive and he said it was pretty obvious all you can eat there’s no way that you can go away hungry and he also said that There is no way that the website shows $24.99 that’s why I posted it so you can see for yourself what the menu states that they post on their website $24.99.They had no interest in offering even complementary dinner for three people or attempting to make things right in anyway were they even apologetic for the misleading faulty price and the limit on the meat dishes.Extremely unprofessional and no interest in taking care of the customer. At first its so confusing how their rules that they so enforce states specifically that 6 number of adults and up are charged for an 18% gratuity and when I just ate there with approximately 2 adults that were eating they charged me 18% of gratuity plus 3 adults when I specifically told the waitress who had served us it would be only me and my sister eating but my husband isnt because he is vegan. Hes only with us as part of the family. And....they told me that because we had used 2 grill...we are charged with 18%gratuity when theyre menu has no specifications on that.I wrote this to give awareness to people who dont pay attention to the rules!! Please be mindful and ask before you are seated to dine. Like us...after we have ordered and read the menu and asked for clarification they insisted we used 2 grills so they still charged us 18% gratuity on top of the fact that they also charge children 5 to 10 about 16 bucks to dine.Dont be petty guys. It’s either the owner or the manager. But omg he was so rude to me. He tried to deny me service because I had brought my service dog with me. He had tried to claim that she was untrained and bothering other people; she hadn’t gone up to anyone except the people OUTSIDE who had asked to pet her. He also tried saying that she was barking when she hadn’t made a peep. He was very rude and unprofessional. She is a small breed and I know these aren’t common to be service animals but this man was trying to pry and consistently question what her service is. I told him I have her papers but he kept cutting me off. Very rude. This is one of my favorite places to come to with my husband and best friend and he made this experience the worst one yet. Want to come here because the food is delicious but if I have to see him and have him say “I remember you” one more time, I’m gonna have to find somewhere else. DONT COME WITH YOUR SERVICE ANIMALS.

This establishment was a cut above. The quality of the food was amazing. Didnt know Mango infused Sake existed. It was quite good and a welcome departure from the traditional Sake which my palate is still struggling to become accustomed to. The atmosphere was also quite enjoyable. The ambient sounds of background music and patron chatter created the ideal dining experience. The Staff were quite attuned and attentive, dropping by frequently to check on us. My favorite Korean BBQ and I have been there many times. Even the basic menu gives you a lot choices including seafood like shrimp. Their makchang is my recent new discovery. Found this place on Yelp and it didnt disappoint! Short 20 minute wait during a Wednesday night for a 4 top table. Get the steamed egg! Also loved the kimche rice side. Loved the shrimp and the waygu beef strips. The sides of pickled cucumber are awesome! Love the ambiance and attentive service. You can get the basic menu for $30ISH or the premium for $40ish per person. Good bottled beer selection too. Portions were good and allowed for sampling of many varieties of proteins.

I ate here with my friend yesterday and it was amazing! They had safe outdoor seating with a portable griddle we could cook our meats on. They also had this delicious and unique pineapple sauce that I’ve never had at any other kbbq place. The pork is probably the most tender pork I’ve ever had. Forget about the one hour wait at Manna and Taegukji. We called around and our responses were youre going to have to wait, I wouldnt get here at 8 if I were you, we dont take reservation. I called Olleh and I got a warm, welcoming response. Come on over now there is 1 table available. We were strategically seated at a table that is at least 6 feet from other people. My grill was NEVER dirty for longer than 5 minutes. Server checked on us at least 15 times for the one hour of the dine in experience. Thank you for the superb service. First time coming here and it was a bit of a downer. I didn’t feel as satisfied compared to other kbbq places I’ve been to. The Kimchi Fried rice tasted bland & our grill was not properly working which took longer for our meat to cook. Server was very attentive though. Hoping the next time I go it will be better.

Just ate here with my lovely wife, and was blown away with the service. It was above and beyond. Every sever there checked in on us as they passed,and not to mention very friendly and accommodating. Ive worked in the restaurant industry for over 14 years and must say that I was absolutely impressed and will continue to make this my korean bbq spot from now on. There was three servers (Ben, Drew and the other servers name I didnt catch.)tonight all were exceptional.We go to chat the the owner Frank for a bit, he was very friendly. Thanks again to the team there to night for their excellent service, food and for creating a amazing atmosphere to eat.

Manager is such a karen. After asking if we can change to a bigger table, the manager said no and we said ok thank you and she said BYE in an ironic way. Six people share only one stove, we spend 20min on cooking and everyone only got one bite. This rule is not printed on the menu or anywhere, BRUHHHHHHHH!

Ordered the off the premium menu for $40. Recommend the Rib finger meat and the beef tongue for your meat orders. Favorite sides are the Kimchi fried rice, the pickled radish, and the fish cake. Its a good KBBQ spot to check out.

Bad attitude, especially the manager. We ask them if six people can use a bigger table. The manager said no. six people use one stove to cook. And the manager said only seven people can use 2 stove. The sit is also too small for six people.
