Wonderful service & staff! I placed a small catering order on Friday, august 4. I am from out of town and accidentally placed the order at another location. The staff were very understanding and professional even when I arrived 1.5hr late due to the location mixup. The food was also tasty. I will definitely order from this location in the future. Thank you again!!

I love driving all the way out here bc the portions are great, the chicken is always cooked to perfection. Just sad the Hi-C fruit ounce was not working bc I always drive all the way out here just for it bc its not water downed. Also one day we came it said it was opened in the maps but once we arrived it was closed 😑 I come from. Echo Park, thats passing downtown and it was pretty disappointing they dont update the schedule on Google maps. Other than that, its my fav place even if we drive all the way here its sooooo worth it. 🤤🤤🤤

Broke da mout grinds but no Aloha spirit or service! I came by today as I ordered online. I saw the Online Order Here sign and so I waited. There were 2 cashiers there but no one greeted me. One even ignored me and went on her daily tasks. When she was done she came by and not even a hello... howzit... whatevah. So I gave my name and she turned around... resumed with another order... then went to take my order. She did ask if I wanted Shiracha and I said yes. She gave me my order and dis not even say mahaloz, thank you, Muchas gracias, whatevah.Too da ONO Hawaiian BBQ Mgmt., please teach your employees the Aloha spirit and the basic principles of soft skills. A simple hello and thank you makes a difference.Thank God a location in South Pasadena and Pasadena will be opening soon! This might be my last stop (and Ive been here several times... like almost 20 brah!) at this location.

Its pretty good stuff, fast and dependable food and service. Its too bad they no longer have the soups that they once carried. Those are very light and tasty. I guess it was too much trouble to make and serve soup to a large audience. Other than that you can eat healthy here and its not too pricey.

Very clean environment. Big change from my last visits. Smile on employee face brightens my day. New girl is very informative, Ashlyn was friendly and I couldn’t help but smile at her charm. The food she helped me choose was great as she insisted it would be, I never thought I would like Island Fire chicken. She told me everything down to the time it would take for the food to be ready. When my order was served she locked eyes with me and announced my number as if she memorized it with a clear booming voice. Been to this location many times, usually great experiences except few time with bland flavor and bad slow customer service. Been a long time but seem to do better now with new staff. Last time with rude, slow service, and bland food made me avoid this location for awhile. Enough noticeable improvement for me to go out of my way writing this review after a long day at work.

This location sucks. Ive been to others where you order number 44 that has katsu bbq beef and chicken and its a full plate. This place gave me only 4 small slices of katsu and barely any beef and chicken. Next time Ill just drive 5 miles to L&Ls instead.

Hi, I am a door dash driver and I will tell my experience here at this place, I was on my way to pick up and order for a client and it happens that the staff over at the Hawaiian BBQ restaurant told me that the order was picked up already and I did ask them did you guys ask that person the name to make sure is the real me or to show the app picture of us ..this way is confirmed is me.not some one.else. This staff does care about getting pay but they do not care about a respectful clients money cos the restaurant.reduse toake.the food again or giving his money back, how dear this people do not care but there money, k was so disappointed about the way they didnt care, i did cal the dash support and.make sure this client gets his money back, which he Did.I Know.this could be also a lie from him but is the ethic and principles of how to take care of a client, .cos.it could be done some other way to.keep him happyI personally will refuse.to.pick.up from this one location due.to the lack of professionalism ....This.is.why.i.rate this [email protected] Desrrespected staff that laugh at me just cos I try to helpSo long and never again ..

The staff are really nice at this location. This is a chain that offers delicious food. If you are not sure what to get here on your first visit try the Hawaiian BBQ mix (3 different meats) or their Chicken combo mix, its a great way to taste the menu.

Theyre advertising two fish plates on special for 5$ Ive been to this location for the last three days and theyre out of the fish (mahi mahi) the other fish thats on sale comes w different sides and the mgr wont even let me substitute the sides when both plates are on sale. Makes no sense. Seems like they want to draw you in and then youre left to most likely order something from the regular money and spend more than twice as much. Thats what happened to me the last three days. Wack

My server today, Ashlynn has wonderful customer service. I saw her on TV and was surprised to see her behind the counter. Just watching her work was making me tired. Ashlynn is sweet with very pretty green eyes, that’s what made me recognize her! She works very hard! The cooks got my order wrong and she corrected it before handing my food over to me. Island fire chicken is now my favorite thanks to her recommendation. Going from cleaning/drying trays to stocking sauces and cleaning all the tables. I’d keep this girl around, she clearly knows what she’s doing. Keep it up!

A secret gem of Hawaiian food in San Gabriel. Food is tasty, large selection of entrees and sauces are delicious. Even the steamed vegetables were suprising scrumptious. My son is very picky and he loved it. I highly recommend it.

Not exactly fast. For grilled chicken breast and noodle orders call them ahead otherwise could be 20 minutes, if not at least 10 minutes wait after you order. Sometimes they have prepacked sauces, but youd need to ask. Nothing special, the seating area is out of sight from register and can be messy. A couple of times the sauce pump was broken then youd are out of luck for the teriyaki or tempura sauce.

We ordered the sea food mix, the fish over fried, the shrimp under fried, both tasteless, !the fish was burnt to a crisp, and full of oil at every bite, the food you order never looks like the picture on there menu, this is the last time we eat at this nasty place, your cook needs to be re-trained or re-placed, your short ribs are the worst Ive tasted, I tried to make a phone order, well....good luck! When you call, it rings ten times, then it auto hangs up on you, come to find out that they dont take your call becouse they use the same phone for there catering business, I wish I knew this before I made seven attempts, thats really annoying, how about using another phone for your catering appointments, and another phone for client like me that dont have the 15 minutes to wait for over fried fish, now I know why this place is called ONO!!
