Good food and great portion size on the meats, but not the sides. I always buy extra of the sides, but theyre kinda pricey. Workers are polite, and my orders have always been correct.

(3/18/23) I love coming here, I allows place my order through the app and the food is always ready before the pick up time. The chicken is hot, the rice is moist, the macaroni has the right amount of mayonnaise, and the cabbage is steamed properly so it’s always crunchy.Please let the cooks know they’re doing an amazing job!!!

This place always gets my order wrong whether it’s busy or I’m the only customer in there. I ask to have no macaroni . They do the exact opposite they don’t give me any vegetables or rice and only macaroni. This is the third time this has happened. This time I went in there was a worker crying in the corner and when she came back to work she was very rude. Even to her coworkers. All the other locations I have been to have been great.

I went to Hawaiian BQQ today at Azalea shopping center in South Gate and I got a chicken katsu meal I expected my food to properly cooked but it was raw in the middle chicken was not cooked enough it was gummy and slimy wasnt the best experience

Went last week as I was having a bad day and wanted to try something new. I hadn’t tried this place before only seen it. Ordered Katsu Chicken plate on Postmates. Restaurant sent my order without any katsu sauce or any condiments. Called restaurant and she said it was upon request only, but admitted they are working with the website to allow you to request condiments on website. I said why wouldn’t you put Katsu sauce with Katsu chicken and at least 1sauce and other condiments Until it’s fixed, no answer. SMH

I like me some Ono. Great food. I prefer the chicken and shrimp but everything is quite good. Location is busy but it works sometimes. I wouldnt pick this location if you hate traffic. Best times to go is when the shops close late in the afternoon. The staff is young and energetic, it gives it great atmosphere.

Real horrible service. I had ordered catering for my sons birthday. I had given a time that I was going to pick it up and paid in full. I get the the restaurant to pick up my order, and it turns out that my order was never made. Whe the cashier ask the cook about the order, the cook only said that nobody told him about my order.The cashier Angelina was rude by telling me to move to the side because she needed to take the order from the lady behind me. I had to cancel my order and try to find where to buy food to feed my invites. When I cancel my order, the cashier only ask if I was sure I wanted to cancel. Very rude customer service and unprofessional.

As soon as I came in the cashier welcomed me and was smiling while taking my order! Superb service, also the food was delicious (meal #4) and well cooked. I asked for 4 Sriracha containers and I thought I was going to get a no, but she gladly said yes! This is my new favorite Ono, I think the cashiers name was Sabrina, She is awesome!!! I even ordered a to go plate since I felt so good about this place service and food! Highly recommend this Ono! #sabrinaneedsaraise

I ordered the wonton Rangoon and the bottom of the wonton was raw. So i took them back. Told the manager. He said thats the way they make them and next time to order them well done. This was my first and last time at this Ono location. My chicken was also raw. Negligence by the cook. Id give 0 stars, but then i would not be able to write a review. Sad.

I thought the Ono Hawaiian BBQ combo was delicious. This was my first experience with Hawaiian BBQ, and it seemed like an South Gate/ traditional BBQ fusion. It was really good value for the amount of food and the overall quality. Live music was a nice touch as well.
