This place is super clean and their recipes reflect that. When it gets busy you need to order from the counter and then get your food at the table but it is very good. Mid-range prices are reasonable for couples. Not really a place I would bring toddlers or babies. Perfect for a first date. Its casual and not pretentious. I liked it. It was my first time eating Asian noodles. I liked it. Very nicely presented. Ill be back.

The menu is a love letter to noodle enthusiasts, with options ranging from classic comforts to bold, adventurous creations. I opted for the Hong Kong Style Noodle Soup, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. The broth was a depth charge of flavor, with just the right amount of heat to leave me breathless. The noodles were cooked to a perfect, springy texture, and the pork belly ... oh, the pork belly! Tender, juicy, and infused with the most amazing marinade. But what truly sets Oodles apart is the attention to detail and care that goes into every single dish. You can taste the love and passion in every bite, and the portion sizes are generous, to say the least. Service was top-notch, too - friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff who clearly love what they do. Save room for dessert.. cant go wrong with the Fly Me To The Moon !In short, Oodles by the Nood Bar is a must-visit destination for any food lover. Dont be fooled by the humble exterior - this place serves up truly exceptional cuisine that will leave you dreaming of noodles for days. So much to choose from on the menu, Im forced to return to try more. Great good and service. My daughter loved the pot stickers and the steamed pork dumplings. Pad Thai was a bit sweet. Cant wait to return!

Decided to check this place out after seeing someone mention it on a fb group.I got the pad see ew with chiken, old school fried rice with shirmp, crispy rolls, and a thai tea.Food taste: It was pretty good, good amount of seasoning and they give you sauces as well. Thai tea was delicious!Customer service : The girl at the counter was very friendly as soon as I walked up.Also, they have a lot of food options in their menu, i love that!!Inside: it was very cute and small.Will definitely return!

Everything here was soooo good! I had the Char kway teow and it was a great flavor. Not too salty. The spicy shrimp wontons appetizer were amazing! I want to go back and try everything else!

We just stepped in for dinner. My daughter had the Wonton Soup with a delicious broth and huge wontons. My husband had the Oddles Fried Rice which was fillling and aromatic. I had the Sab Yum Noodle Soup overflowing with noodles and pork belly. So delicious! Overall the food was delightful and the portions were generous. The service was terrific. The only issues I had is the place is a bit on the pricey side and the restaurant is small so I expect there will be wait times when they fully open. Overall I would highly reccomend trying this place. Im glad to have this addition to La Mesa.

My first time, I ordered beef gochujang udon for delivery. I was given shrimp instead. Oh well. Things happen.Today, I arrived here at 3:22 pm, before their posted lunch break. I tried to order a red guava iced tea, but they turned me away saying they were closed.They obviously dont need my business.

When this place opened we absolutely loved it. We were so happy to have an Asian gem in the La Mesa area. We were going there almost twice a week but recently they’ve drastically reduced the vegan and vegetarian options. In the beginning they were open to doing a lot more substitutions or make certain dishes vegan however that is no longer an option. We loved going here, hope they read this and bring back a wider range of options to their vegan and vegetarian customer base 😭

This place is delicious, service is excellent if you wanted to dine in and our to go experiences have been equally as good. Food taste fresh, we dont have high sodium reactions after eating here as we have with other competing restaurants.I have had 5 things from this menu so far and all have been 5Star.

Delicious food, friendly service. The food was fresh, especially the bok choi and Chinese broccoli. We all loved what we got (veggie entree, old school fried rice, ramen, and grilled chicken on rice). And for those who like spicy food, you will not be disappointed. I asked for spicy level 4 (out of 5), and they nailed it.
