2023-06-20 23:29:21Wines, coffee, cool vibes and the most original sandwich menu you’ll likely find.We had the Hill Street that was fried pork chop and slaw, amazing. Also ordered the Olympic sandwich and a market salad. Sandwich was on a chewy baguette layered with pickled radish, grilled chicken thigh, cilantro. Couldn’t put it down.

2023-08-19 21:34:51Their Olympic sandwich is so good; I was especially impressed with their own pickled radish with ginger. As a chicken rice fan, i would very much like to try Alhambra next time. The staff was super nice too :))

2023-11-27 22:16:13Best brisket sandwich in LA (which is saying something!) and truly the nicest, friendliest staff. Highly recommend the wine club if you live in the area too - Sam will get you the best wine and educate you along the way. Great cookies too! LOVE this place.

2023-06-20 00:09:59The Olympic sandwich was super good and worth coming out here for. The place itself had a cool energy and staff was friendly. It was on the pricier side but I’d say worth it, I would recommend!

2023-01-14 08:22:42Tried the Hainanese Chicken Salad sando, and as a Singaporean, their version of it did not disappoint. Dont expect it to taste exactly like the full plated fare though - they offer a really interesting interpretation which I would come back for again, and which I would recommend to anyone just as a yummy sandwich.Would also recommend the desserts (brownie and sea salt cookie) - most delish! Its a cafe and store combined, and they carry a good assortment of beers and wines from around the USA. Speak to their staff if you need a recommendation, theyre all friendly and helpful!Overall great vibes, and also helps that theres an underground parking lot!

2023-04-25 16:59:31On my search for the best sandwich in Ktown, I may have finally reached the Promise Land. While my journey is still ongoing, I would be very surprised to find a sandwich better than the Normandie. If you havent tried this sandwich, you need to get it asap. My wife, who is picky about her sandwiches, also agrees that this is the best sandwich in Ktown. We also got their hokage latte, which wasnt too sweet. I was really hoping to try their strawberry latte, but it wasnt available at the time so Ill have to come back soon. The best part about Open Market might actually be their free validated parking. After having to pay $3-$4 to park at every restaurant I go to, getting free parking gave me and my wallet so much joy.

2023-09-25 21:09:14Open market to me is one of my favorite places to go in all of Los Angeles. The community of open market feels like home. The employees Will genuinely ask you how your day has been or when you have been up to . The coffee and sandwiches are so so good. I go to open market every week . It’s also hard not to mention how the decor of open market is amazing.

2023-01-05 22:34:50Incredible stuff happening here! Pictured is the hainan chicken salad sandwich that I highly recommend but they have tons of great options. The market also has an extensive natural wine selection - just ask Sam to help you find a bottle he’s a pro. Definitely will be back!

2021-12-17 07:09:49Will go again / Food = Above average / Portion = Below average / Price = Average / Service = Above average / Cleanliness = Above averageOrdered the Olympic sandwich for lunch which cost around ~$15. To my surprise...the Olympic sandwich was absolutely tasty! A friend told me about this place that had good sandwiches. If this one is an indication, he was not lying. The Olympic has a good spicy kick so avoid if you do not like or cannot handle like me. Keep in mind I cannot tolerate spicy well. However, the deliciousness of this sandwich was worth the spice. The aioli sauce and pickled radish accentuates the flavors tremendously mixing perfectly with the grilled and BBQ charred chicken. Although a small portioned sandwich, I was okay with it as I try to control my portions lately. Kicks with lots of flavor that got me curious on all their other sandwiches. Customer service was great and very joyous. After picking up my sandwich, the cashier said for me to really enjoy my sandwich with a very positive tone. It was very warming and welcoming making me want to go back.I walked but seems to be an underground parking. The location has a small seating area in front. The interior is very clean and nicely designed giving off a cafe vibe. Good place to read books or work from.
