Fantastic food, wonderful service! My wife and I eat Thai food regularly and this is one of the best Thai restaurants weve ever been to. We tried the Northern Thailand specialty, Khao Soi. Its a curry dish with egg noodles and it was amazing. Very unique curry flavor and hearty egg noodles. We get Pad Thai almost every time we go out and after eating the dish at dozens of different restaurants, I can say that Orange Thai makes some of the best Pad Thai Ive had.Peter, the Owner, waited on us and gave us great service. He gave us complimentary Thai Iced Tea and chatted with us about Thailand.We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back regularly!

Wow this place is a Gem! Please eat here and support local- I just found out they are open during all major holidays!!All the dishes are great. I recommend the classics: Pad See Ew, Broccoli Beef, Tom Kah, Papaya Salad, fresh summer rolls, even the orange chicken!My boyfriend has a severe nut allergy (eating Thai food is usually a no-no) but the server Peter was very attentive to make sure all the dishes were nut free :) Peter even gave my boyfriend a special treat for his birthday! Great service & yummy food.

Wonderful place, wonderful food, wonderful owners.My wife and I had Khao Soi and Pad See Ew. They were able to accommodate my wifes egg intolerance and the food was outrageously delicious.The owners are wonderful - we accidentally left my wifes purse and although they didnt have any way of contacting us, they held it for us and we were able to retrieve it the next day. They remembered us from exactly what we ordered too! Well be back!

The eggplant dish was very good and tasty. My pineapple fried rice was good, it came with shrimp and chicken. I would definitely come back again. The portion size was bigger than other places.

I have been to dozens of Thai restaurants and this one is seriously the best!! I had the Spaghetti Thai basil with Chicken and it was phenomenal. Amazing flavor and fresh ingredients. This place is about a 20 minute drive from me but it’s worth it!

Have been ordering takeout to support local business since its opening. Food and service were good at the beginning. It has started to get busy and unfortunately the quality & quantity are going downhill.Have ordered Pad Thai which is not traditional and too sour, Pad See Ew with broken flat noodle hardly any meat or broccoli, Pad Woon Sen which comes with flat noodle, instead of glass noodle, Thai fried rice with overcooked rice, beef broccoli with few dry pieces of sliced beef, Orange chicken which about 10 pieces of battered chicken & orange sauce, no orange garnish or green onions, Garlic Green beans with chicken was okd.No chopsticks, plastic silverware or extra soy sauce or chili were provided unless requested.Mentioned to owner Peter and he didnt seem to understand, just kept repeating what it was supposed to be..Too bad that they cant keep up their reputation being a new business in the areas.

The food is pretty good although the green curry tasted like soap.The service was pretty bad, our server a young woman kept ignoring us, brought out food but no cutlery, when we asked she rolled her eyes with attitude.The lighting is terrible like glaring florescent in your face…

Great restaurant! We went in for the lunch special. They have great choices, we both loved our meals. Comes with a small salad and spring roll for $12! Some of the better Thai food I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!

My family and I have tried several Thai places in the area, and this is by far the best. Fresh variety of vegetables, everything made to order, and not overly oiled or salty like many other places. I have lived in Chicago and New York and am picky when it comes to Thai food. Orange Thai will be our new go-to when I am in town visiting family!

Dont like to leave reviews but i came to this place due to the 5 star reviews expected great tasting food i ordered to go it was almost closing time i asked for 2 entrees and a thai tea the thai tee tasted like pure sugar i took a small sip and asked him if he can change it for something else he said no we cant i was like its full its tastes like sugar and its the worst thing ever had i paid 5-6 dollars he said too bad i was like can i exchange for a soda he said no than hes wife said okay he gives me warm coke im like the soda price is $2 the tea is $5-6 dollars i should get 2-3 sodas he rolled his eyes and said no again i was like why should i paid $5-6 for a soda make it make sense so he finally gives a second warm sprite than i asked him for ice hes getting all the ice all grumpy im like okay what great service(in my head ) proceed to getting my food i get home and all tasted like microwave disgusting food just dumped $35 to the thrash worst customer service ever

Older sister found this restaurant next to her yoga studio and enjoyed the food so much a few days ago that she reordered it again since I was in town. We had papaya salad, spicy eggplant with chicken, seafood drunken noodle, spicy beef salad, crazy cashew nut with chicken, and Tom Yum Seafood. Everything was flavorful and tasty; we especially liked the papaya salad and spicy eggplant with chicken. Brother-in-law had the spicy beef salad and we shared everything but beef salad looks amazing. Tom Yum Seafood was delicious and had a kick to it. I had never ordered seafood with drunken noddle and was little disappointed; the noodle was slightly over cooked and the seafood didnt go well with it. I am sure it would have tasted much better with other protein. All the portions were good size and price as reasonable. The owner was super nice and gave my sister complimentary home made ice cream (green tea and coconut) and ice tea; coconut ice cream was delicious. Would recommend and will eat here again.

I picked up Orange Thai for the first time yesterday, as it was recommended by one of my neighbors! I can honestly say that this was the best Thai food that I have ever had and best meal that I have had since moving to Huntington Beach! I’m so excited to go back! The food speaks for itself, but I have to include how sweet the owners and additional staff were! Just a great experience overall:)

We loved our dinner at Orange Thai while visiting Huntington Beach. Lovely, friendly people running the place who were all very sweet to our (energetic) 15 month old. The Khao Soi was some of the best we’ve been able to find stateside and the mango sticky rice was a nice end to the meal. Definitely recommend if you’re craving Thai!

Went here at around 5pm. Took 30 mins to get seated. Took a total of 3 hours once we got out. Took long time for them to take our order and then long time for the food to come. The restaurant is tiny with not much seating. Apart from the husband and wife, there are no servers. They need to beef up their servers when demand is more. Food was good but we were so frustrated that we didnt enjoy it. May be good option for take-out but not for dine-in. No wheelchair accessibility. Not kid friendly.

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem a couple of weeks ago - they had just opened and did not have their signage up yet! - and were we ever glad we did! Every dish we tried - all four of them! - was absolutely fantastic, without question at or very near the top of ANY restaurant-prepared Thai food weve had before! Peter and his wife (the chef) offer a delightful dining experience and we are already eagerly anticipating our return for more of her delicious Thai creations!! P.S. Make sure you save room for the amazing mango sticky rice dessert, YUMMY!!

If you love Thai food, you must try Orange Thai! -- this is my conclusion after trying more than a dozen dishes. This no-frill restaurant offers delicious, made from scratch dishes at prices that allow you to come back again and again.Since my first Thai restaurant experience in 1989, I have tried numerous Thai restaurants. On one hand, fancy authentic restaurants tend to pay too much attention to ambience (read it as expensive). On the other hand, run-of-the-mill restaurants tend to serve dishes modified to suit the taste of American consumers. Affordable restaurants tend to cut corners in the quality of ingredients for profit margin.Orange Thai is none of these. Owner-chef, Windy, has been engaged in the Thai restaurant business for well over a decade, and she has struck a perfect balance between truly authentic and pleasantly creative. You will notice that the ingredients are of high quality and every dish is prepared with utmost care. Also, you will notice that Orange Thais menu offers dishes you rarely see in other Thai restaurants. You should remember that the restaurant does not have a lot of tables, and it is a good idea to be prepared to take the food out. Ask Peter or Windy what they recommend for the day. You will find that they continue to create delightful off-the-menu items.

I brought my family to the new Thai restaurant on Beach and Atlanta tonight and boy they didnt disappoint. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We started the dinner out with cream cheese and crab wontons and egg rolls. Absolutely delicious. I ordered the Pad Thai, mmmm. The kids ordered beef drunken noodles and orange chicken. We definitely found our new spot. Everything was made fresh to order and you could taste the love in the ingredients. I would recommend 👌

This will likely be some of the best Thai food youll have in SoCal. Up there with the best of the Hollywood Thai restaurants and up there with Bahn Thai of San Diego. New spot. Experienced owners. Their previous location was in Garden Grove and decided to grace Huntington Beach with their delicious food.What to try: Roast Duck Curry will blow your mind. Khao Soi is a Northern specialty and rare on SoCal Thai menus. Get this if you like noodles and curry. Add all the toppings. Add the lime. Boat noodle soup? Some of the best Ive ever had. DELICIOUS!! 90 degrees outside? Thats ok. Order is spicy, as should be, and the sweat will cool you off. Taste bud explosion. Craving a salad? Go with the Thai Waterfall Beef Salad. Hard not to love this one. Curry lovers, aside from the Roast Duck Curry, their other curries are also top notch. Have had almost all, including my favorite: massaman. Appetizers: cream cheese wontons and spicy wings. Basically, the chefs hands are blessed.Peter is the owner and is extremely nice. I hope you meet him. His wife is the chef. Enjoy!Update: they kept the Moo Yang (BBQ pork) and Crying Tiger (BBQ beef). Both are a must try and portions are generous. Good for sharing.

Grabbed some lunch with my daughter after picking her up from school. They were still serving lunch. I had teriyaki chicken, she had pad Thai. Both were good. Picked up teriyaki chicken for the Mrs., and orange chicken and chicken chow mein for the rest of the family. All came in just under $80 before tip. Will definitely be back!
