Oriental Chinese Cuisine in Placentia

This place is okay relative to the other choices for Chinese food in the general area. This is not a very high bar. The food was just okay, we tried several dishes and none really stood out from the rest. We ordered Mongolian beef, chicken with cashew nuts, combination fried rice, combination chow mein, sizzling three delights, and potsticker dumplings. None of these dishes were great, nor were any of them terrible. The service was okay, the servers were very nice and somewhat friendly but not very attentive and it took a really long time for the food to get to the table. Almost an hour, which is very long for a Chinese restaurant. The prices were not great, on the higher side of average for Chinese restaurant prices. All in all it was just okay, and not remarkable. We probably wont be returning, and I cant recommend it.

AMAZING food! Mongolian Beef, Cashew Chicken, Orange Chicken and Egg Rolls are the best I have EVER had. Wonderful staff, very accommodating and friendly. I have been here over a dozen times and have never had a bad experience. This restaurant is a rare gem in our community.

The keyword here is fresh, whatever you order. Its gonna be cooked at the time that you order it. So dont expect fast food delivery to table. I do believe people that frequent this establishment phone order their food for pick up. There must have been 5 or 6 large orders that were being picked up by people in the time we were there.I have other options that are closer to me. But I will be driving a little further to go here. Just because the food was that good.This is American Chinese food. This is not authentic, but this is what most people eat. Theyre not even aware of what authentic chinese food is to begin with.

We came here on a Google search while taking a pleasure drive. We were greeted as VIP’s. Kevin is an awesome server and loves to laugh, we had the dinner for 3 and we’re extremely pleased with our food. Absolutely delicious. Truly the best Chinese food you will be pleased.

Food was very Greasy, I told the lady there in charge she ignored me... She sent someone else to give me my debit card back, i told him he smiled and shrugged his shoulders and walked away.. Got home threw up... Never going back

Good food, sensibly priced. Theres an old story about being able to judge the authenticity of the restaurant by the clientele; this place had a nice mixture. Didnt see any chicken feet, so its probably authentic enough without being too authentic for the neighborhood. The food didnt have that blown-up flavor of places that use a lot of MSG, and many would say thats all to the good. The service was excellent--attentive without being annoying, and the staff are sincerely nice. I will be going back, and I invite you to join me.

The waitress was all by herself for awhile, but the food was outstanding. I took home enough for 4 meals! Excellent flavor, I would definitely go back.

So glad I checked this place out. I ordered family dinner #2. We chose Kung Pao and orange chicken with fried rice. They were both great! Orange chicken was perfectly crispy. The chow mein was good. The Fried rice with chicken was well balanced with meat. The service was beyond excellent. The server was so accommodating. My food was brought to my car and there wasnt anything missing when i got home (plates but idk if they normally put in Togo orders ). Restaurant is complying to covid-19 restrictions and provided hand sanitizer and complimentary masks. I will definitely return.I know with covid-19 they are limited but cant wait to see if they have a happy hour menu in the future.Beware spicy for lovers: food wasnt spicy at all not even the Kung Pao (ok for children) but they did add hot sauce. Next time I will tell my chef to add spincyness. Also the food could have used more flavor? It was good but Ive had better.Bonus: I didnt call in for my order (my fault) so it took over their promised 10 min (13 min to be exact) and they gave me a complimentary milk tea drink 😄.Oh the juicy food was put in a was carton container. Not ideal for storing leftovers since they dont hold up and leak. I would request a aluminum liner or foam to go plates. Again thats just me because I usually order extra for my lunch.Portion size was ok. Chow mein must have shrinked because my container was half way. The edge of the interior of the orange chicken was very chewy? I had to spit out because I couldnt break it down. Seemed like old children?

It’s a solid Chinese takeout restaurants around the neighborhood. Sure, it’s Americanized but they have a couple foods aren’t on your typical quick chinese take out, such as the family style tofu. Portion is good and price is somewhat decent. However, they have too many items listed on their menu. You get a lot of selections but it gives you confusion at the same time. So far I have tried their chop suey, sweet and sour pork, curry chicken and some of their tofu options. They’re all flavorful though sometimes it feels too much either on the sauce or salt and whichever spices they use in their cooking. There are couple tables on the inside and the atmosphere is somewhat that of a traditional family owned Chinese restaurant, feels a bit homey and modest at times. Better for a takeout though imo

Been and ordered take out for awhile now,but have to say Orange chicken too well done that its hard to eat,and my beef and broccoli..Wheres the beef..Family for 3 meal is not 29..anymore its 39..now..
