Ordered at 6:50pm and was told it it would be here at 7:50 which in itself is a very long time for delivery, now that it is 8:30 and no delivery in sight, for a Wednesday in PG you have to be kidding me. I would rather drive to Safeway, buy some frozen Asian food, crawl back, heat it via solar power, take a shower, hand wash the sheets, dry them outside, and then eat the food from Safeway. I would come out way ahead!!! Either do deliver or dont.
Fantastic food, fast service, and good delivery. All around good spot for vegans and omnivores alike. Loved their mock meat sweet n sour orange chicken!
I have eaten here many times and every time I come the service is very fast, the people are very kind, and tea is magical. I recommend Oriental Gourmet but you have to come visit the restaurant to get the full experience. Dont get delivery when you can experience culture and good service.
Quite possibly the worst Chinese food we ever had... we threw it out. Kung Pao chicken was made with spoiled chicken, chicken fried rice was barely fried. Soggy Sweet and Sour Chicken. Oh, the fortune cookies were OK.
Food okay, but order methods are so dysfunctional that placing an order is not really possible without going there and waiting. High frustration with inability to do the simplest of tasks. They really should create a working website. Meanwhile, go elsewhere.Rick in Monterey.
Decent Chinese restaurant for Take Out orders. You can eat-in as well, but Ive found that the restaurant is quite often empty. The telephone for Take Our orders, on the other hand, rings off the hook.
Our main dish - Kung pao chicken we ordered for takeout was completely inedible and we had to throw it away. No sauce just drenched in hot oil.
Delicious food, great people, lovely reasonable lunch specials. Everything we tried was good. We go back again & again, also quiet.

Found a six inch strand of black thread in my food. Looked like it came from the cooks shirt or apron. Ill never go there again.

2018-04-13 20:48:52Bad service. We order the lunch special however they didnt provide any rice or soup as advertised. We called and the lady on the phone said I give you more food. The cherry on the top is a metallic piece I found inside the food. Again calling the store the lady on the other line cared less about my findings. Still waiting for the manager to call me back.

It is fast, affordable, consistent, and they even deliver!I have tried a few Chinese food restaurants in the area, all a bit disappointing, I had given up on them until I found this one on Eat24, it was a rainy Sunday evening, the food arrived warm and as promised. All of it was delicious, I have been a faithful client since. I introduced my vegetarian friend to it, and she was in heaven with the amount of options on the menu, she is now a customer too.

2019-05-11 03:33:52This is the first review i’ve ever wrote and i feel it is necessary.. we waited 30 minutes just to receive water, we needed a separate waitress to retake our order and then waited over an hour and a half for our food to come out. when it did, my friends order came out as fish instead of as steak like he ordered. it was super greasy and EXTREMELY hot to where we all burnt our tongues and one order was quite literally boiling while in front of us. our second waitress was a super sweet asian lady, but overall the experience was terrible. To me it seemed like the delivery/takeout service was prioritized over those in the restaurant. i would try to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they were super busy, but there is only 6 people in the restaurant.. and there was a table of 6 who left when we got here and the table has not been cleaned after we left. we will not be coming back and i suggest the nice lady gets a new job, she looked very stressed probably from doing all the work herself.

2017-04-25 03:25:11I took a vegetarian friend to this restaurant. She ordered a broccoli & asparagus dish after making the waitress aware that she was allergic to all animal products and verifying that the sauce was not to have any animal products in the sauce. The dish came swimming in gelatin (with gelatin bulks floating in the sauce), which is clearly an animal product. She took one tiny taste of broccoli and confirmed the dish was also tasteless. We returned it - virtually untouched. The owner was hanging around proudly, but never tried to come by our table or offer my guest anything in lieu--anything she could actually eat. I cannot describe how ashamed and dismayed I was to have taken my esteemed guest to a restaurant out of which she was to walk out hungry. Astonishingly, when the bill came, the dish was included and the poor waitress explained that the owner insisted on charging us for this returned dish. To add insult to injury, the owner then came out of the kitchen and looked at us with a clear gotcha look.

2018-01-06 22:43:17I ordered the Peking sauce pork, vegetable fried rice, and veggy egg rolls. The rice and rolls were great, but the pork... I couldnt even open the container it smelled so bad. It smelled strongly of urine. I gagged immediately and could not bare to try it. It was seriously horrible. Even though the other dishes were his, I will not be ordering from there again.

2018-02-06 04:12:11Got it delivered, None of what I ordered was edible. I ordered vegitble wraps expecting a spring role of sorts but was given a tub of fillings and 5 tortillas. Orange chicken was soggy and mushy and taste quite horrible. Chicken Chow fun was oily and bland. Do not recommend

2019-10-14 01:31:58Ordered food for delivery..it arrived quickly. The broccoli and beef should have been cooked longer and the fried prawns were dry and tasteless. The prawn chow mein was excellent. I would order the prawn chow mein again but not the rest.

2019-11-29 05:53:39We came very late, and yet the staff greeted us excitedly. The food is inexpensive and delicious. My group and I enjoyed it, and if Im in the area Ill definitely eat here again.

2020-03-09 06:18:17A friendly, welcoming environment, with a good variety of American-Chinese, and authentic Chinese, food. The soups, along with the various vegetarian offerings and the pan-fried dumplings (餃子), are definitely worth trying out. Ambience at this restaurant is low-key.
