Original Pattern Brewing in Oakland

Oh, when I walked in and saw those tanks I knew I was in the right place. Fresh craft beer, great selection, super cool staff. The seating is varied, inside has some long tables for groups, booths for more intimacy, a loft and outdoor seating along the front and side. There’s a pop up pizza maker everyday and the pizza is delicious. Thin, tasty crust and fresh ingredients.

Cool vibe, amazing beers with super easy parking to add a cherry on top. Their IPAs are especially great, and prolly make up most of their tap lineup. Highly recommend getting a flight of tasters. Our go-to brewery in Oakland.

Stopped by for a quick flight while in Oakland. Around 3pm on a Monday afternoon and the place wasn’t very busy. Can’t understand why as the beer is fantastic, the staff are cool, and the brewery itself is amazing. Wanna sit at the bar? It’s long and has plenty of room. Want to sit at a table? They’ve got you covered. Want a private booth? They’ve got that too. Want to sit in the loft and chill with a view of the tanks? Feel free. Want to sit outside and chill under the Oaktown sun? Suit yourself. The place is oozing character and personality. Can’t wait to come back when they have an event. It’s gotta be magnificent.

I was there march 31st of 2018, casually was the opening day. I remember we had a nice tour through all the process of the brewing which it was really nice but what I can’t forget is the coldness of the beer I had. I never had such a cold beer in my life, they told us it was -2 C 🤯👏🏻. Hope you are still doing fine and some day go back for that beer 🙌🏻

I went in with 45 min to spare before my train and tasted six delicious beers, all the lovely bartender’s choice. Will definitely be back!

This is a brand new place in the Oakland jack London area. Very cool awesome design. All the beers are served very clean and proper. Nothing is over the top, just solid. We met a few of the main people there and they were all really nice. Super chill vibe. I would totally go back. They are focused on making sure everything is true to the old school, all the options are very tasty and refreshing.

Great spot for a beer. Decent seating options inside, the booths seat a lot of people and have surprisingly good acoustics. Some outside seating available as well. Has some merch available, especially nice glassware. Small selection of games. Pop up kitchen inside sells tasty apps but not really a full meal option. Beers change periodically but there seem to be quite a few options.
