Been coming here for many years, first time back since 2019. Updated decor, food is still great. A bit pricey, but considering the location and the atmosphere it is to be expected.Came for dinner on a week night about 6pm.Calamari, Thai iced tea, yellow curry, pumpkin curry with salmon were all great.Great place to take colleagues or clients for business meals or a place to take a date.

I have been looking forward to trying the newly renovated Osha Thai Restaurant and the new Brunch Menu. I ordered the Mackerel Cloudy Egg and its deliciously blended great together. The Thai Roti Bananas were amazingly Yummy, I love it! And the Butterfly Tea Latte was divine, a must-try on the menu!

Very happy with the experiences! All food we ordered are very delicious. Great service and environment for good prices. Would definitely recommend to friends and revisit soon!Update: second visit was unpleasant… tofu kinda went bad but it’s ok. I felt unwelcomed by the person who showed us to our table. They were kind of rude and put on a face as if I own them money. Very disappointed :(

From the appetizers to the desserts, presentation is amazing, food is tasty and service is excellent. The Thai tea lava cake with Thai tea ice cream was my favorite dessert, the volcano beef was my favorite entree and the angel wings were bomb for appetizers! All in all, a little pricey but food is excellent!

I liked the transparency and honesty of the restaurant staff about the dishes having egg, fish or meat. I was clearly told about one of the salad which has fish-oil as dressing though it appeared vegetarian on the menu. My team was happy with the food quality and taste. I liked the ambience a lot though not much vegetarian option. Go for the veg spring roll. It both looks and taste good.

One of the few restaurants open on a Sunday at this business district. The food for dine-in and take-out is great! It was full of good flavors. I enjoyed the eggplant dish as well as the tofu + veg combo and the Phad Thai. However, the rice portion for dine-in was very small compared to the take-out. (Please) see the photo. Good service overall.

I loved the decoration in this restaurant, you feel like you are in your country of origin, the service is very good, the food is delicious, and the cocktail drinks: I ordered a Piña colada, and the presentation was beautiful, but the drink does not taste like a Piña colada, I dont know what it was because it didnt taste good. However, it is a place that I recommend for any occasion.

Joel Hansen was the person we got to know of this restaurant from. Check out his YouTube videos and you’ll find the one where he eats here. Just like Joel, we wanted to try everything on the menu. However, there is not even a remote chance we could finish that much food. We did try the pad Thai, Thai fried rice, crispy salmon rolls, and papaya salad. Everything was prepared really quick and tasted amazing. Perfect location to stop by in the heart of San Francisco as well. There is a garage downstairs for parking and the restaurant will validate so you get a discount on the parking! Do it now, don’t think, eat!!!!!

I was here to celebrate my friends birthday. We were earlier than our appointment but still they made us sit and the service was pretty fast. Food was excellent, service was great and since it was a birthday we got the birthday ice cream with a candle on it. Overall, good experience.

I visited this restaurant almost 4-5 times now. Food has always been great but the prices are on the expensive side. Serving sizes are mediocre however hospitality is great.Update:Both the following items are amazing.1. Yellow Curry with Rice.2. Thai Basil Fried Rice.Prices have soared yet again. A really pretty and spacious restaurant. It feels welcoming and the staff were quick and punctual. Tho I did not go during a rush hour.The food was absolutely amazing. Rich and refreshing. We ordered the coconut dumpling and the corn fritters, I personally loved the dumpling more. We also ordered a Tom Khao soup which might my new favourite soup.For main course we had the yellow curry and pineapple fried rice, both of which delivered really well.The only negatives were the price and most importantly what I mentioned above is almost everything in the menu on the vegetarian side. They can make some more of the rice options vegetarian but when it comes to curries, the yellow curry is the only option. Similarly for the appetisers and the soupPS:- Not gonna complain about the soup tho 😛

Overall spice level is too low for me. Definitely westernized spice levels.Papaya salad was good. Pat see ew was good. But neither was extraordinary. Oysters was fresh, but too cold. Young coconut was good. Tom kha Kai was not my type. I like dense and full flavor of coconut (maybe creamy), but here its more like Tom yum (coconut milk+broth). 3.5 stars.

Only 2 stars because how pretty the restaurant is from the terrace. The food was flavorless and meat was way too dry, as if they gave us food that was made a really long time ago and just warmed it up. Also waitresses kept on pouring beer into a straight water glass, which made the beer foam go all over the table every time and didn’t mind cleaning the mess up they made themselves, this also ruins the beers.Wouldn’t recommend. 3/10 just for the pretty flowers outside.

Been to or ordered from Osha Thai a few times over the years. Their food is generally pretty tasty, never had a bad meal here. The service can be hit or miss, can depend a bit on the day and how busy it is. What largely brings the rating down a bit is that the price/ quantity of the restaurant can be a bit aggressive with one dish typically running $30-40, that is a whole meal at other Thai restaurants

You have to try this dish. Papaya salad and fried chicken (not like KFC). Most delicious meal I have had in a restaurant. It’s right next to Hyatt Hotel and PIER 1. Next to port of San Francisco I believe. Clean, food service was fast, I didn’t have to sit and wait for 30mins for my order. Would highly recommend. So many varieties on their menu and very affordable. My new favorite place. Bravo to the chef! Bravo to the servers and cleaners.

Every time I go to a Thai restaurant, I order Thai ice tea for sure. Recently I visited this place and was absolutely in love with the ambiance. Great Thai food that you can probably get. Of course comparing to the Asian standard there’s GAP too. The yellow chicken curry less spicy and too much coconut and watery . The fried eggplant with prawn not too bad, fried vegetarian spring roll and Thai ice tea are great. The pad Tai - the traditional Thai food was huge and too sweet! Do order the dessert : Mango and sticky rice but the coconut milk can add more. Helpful waiters and waitress with great environment for business or personal.

When we arrive there were only a few parties. We asked if we could be seated in a certain section that was quieter but they said no after taking our seeds we saw other people being seated in that section and asked if we could sit there the host is very perturbed. It seems as if they only had two servers in the whole restaurant. We waited forever for drink and food. We never got serving utensils with the food. Also the prices were extremely high. I dont think I will be going back in the future

Wanted Thai food during my San Francisco trip. Walked in and was sat Immediately. No one told me about the happy hour menu but thankfully I arrived 45 minutes before he ended. Ordered me a Cosmo, 12 oysters and some drunken noodles. The oysters for one dollar on the happy hour menu. I wanted my drunken noodles to be spicy. When I receive that there was no spicy kick to it. I even asked the waitress for some extra sauce to kick it up but the sauce just wasn’t spicy. But the food was good and affordable.

Probably the first restaurant I went to when I moved to the city. Absolutely loved it then and 4 years later I still love it. They have opened up at many locations but my favorite still remains this one on the Embarcadero.The ambiance is nice and classy and the decor of the place is wonderful. It is a combination of a lounge and restaurant so perfect for family outings, business dinners or even date nights because you can go on a long walk after. :PComing to the food. I absolutely love everything they have to offer however my favorite is their Pad Thai and Chicken Satay. But their Penang curry is amazing as well.TIP: If you are going to the restaurant about 45-1 hour before closing time they might hurry your meals and try to rush you out the door so I would suggest getting their a little early.

Great place to share Thai food with friends. Lots to choose from if you are a vegan or not. Service is okay. If you are looking for Thai heat, definitely have to request it.Extensive bar menu, both alcohol and non-alcohol, so you will find something delicious to drink.Can get crowded. So be sure to call or book online ahead to book a table, especially if you are party of 4 or more.

I enjoyed my Pad Thai noodles but Ive had better. The noodles stuck together and were in a lump. I forgot to take a picture of the dish. The service was fine. It was quite busy on a Friday night on a holiday weekend. There is a lounge but it is only open Mon-Friday. There is a bar here. Unfortunately, the space is small so it felt like it there was too much furniture along with the bar.

I love this place. Really good thai food on the menu. Food is a bit pricey though. If you’re a fan of thai noodles, I strongly recommend trying drunken noodles. It’s one of the best ones I’ve had. They have really good drinks too. Mango mojito is my favorite from non-alcoholic drinks.

I was beyond impressed by this restaurant. I assumed that the food would be about average because it’s in a pretty touristy/high traffic area of SF. However, the food was fresh, arrived quickly and there were so many options on the menu. The wontons were delicious, I’m only sad there weren’t more of them.For the entrees, we had the pineapple fried rice and the yellow curry. Both were fantastic and we cleared the plates. Portions could have been bigger, but I also just really liked the meal.

The food was delicious and it has wonderful ambiance..I appreciate that the wait staff did not rush us and let us enjoy our dinner. The pumpkin curry with prawns had a wonderful flavor, not too spicy. I would have liked a little bit thicker curry, but honestly the flavor was so good I ate it like soup. Pad Thai was also very tasty. Their mango sticky rice uses for forbidden rice, it gives the dish a wonderful subtle nutty taste. Its a little on the more expensive end for Thai food in the city, but they are in a beautiful are and have excellent ambiance. I could see them hosting many large groups and parties in the space.

*** Wedding Reception Review ****Coordinating a wedding from 7 hours away seemed so stressful. After doing endless research, visited 4 different venues, we quickly realized that non of the venues really fit our needs. After hearing from one of our family members that Osha hosted their wedding, we decided to give it a shot. We were already fans of the Osha chain due to their sleek design and trendy restaurants, and their amazing food, it looked promising. We had a wedding party of 80 people, and wanted a cocktail reception that really let our family and friends feel welcome.Will and his team made things so easy, we did a walk through in an hour to plan the cocktail reception, and we knew that this was it. Their gold, warm tones, awesome trendy furniture, really spoke to our personalities. As our day was coming up and I was getting nervous because I didnt even see the placement of furniture in person but only spoke about it, I started wishing that I spent a week prior to our wedding to ensure planning. But I didnt, I trusted Will and the Osha team and I was highly impressed!Everything went so smoothly, the venue was beautiful, I was caught by surprise and it all was beyond my expectations. Will made sure to sit us down to eat, because no bride and groom really eats on their wedding day, he made sure to communicate with my wedding planner, and seriously was a professional.The best part... CUTTING OUR CAKE WITH A SWORD!! I loved it and it looked awesome in pictures!!Will you are the best and thank you so much for making our day literally perfect.

Fun atmosphere, classic dishes with a few twists. We had the shrimp spring rolls, wontons, and pumpkin chicken curry. The rice noodle around the rolls was great, the wontons hit the spot with the sweet/spicy sauce. Th pumpkin curry had just the right amount of kick. Service was a little sparse and prices were just a little too high, but you pay a little for the atmosphere I guess. Would give a 3.5 if I could. Solid Thai place that is fun if you want to mix it up a bit.

I loved it. The decor, the staff, the food. I sat at the bar as I was by myself and I dont think Ive ever seen two bar staff work as hard as these guys, they were hustling the whole time. Instead of standing around like I see in most places, they were polishing wine glasses in between service. They were very attentive towards me and made me feel like I was the only person at the bar.The food was delicious and was presented elegantly. I had a unique and delicious spin on a traditional Nim Chow dish. I loved the bite-sized portions and the sauce was probably the best Ive ever had and Ive had Nim Chow at dozens of different places over the past 30 years. I wished I could have bottled it and taken it back home.The Pad Thai was very delicious and flavorful. The noodles werent soggy at all and all of the ingredients were extremely fresh. 9/10.

Beautiful and very large indoor/outdoor setting along the Embarcadero across from the San Francisco Ferry building. The country chicken is my personal favorite. It has a nice hints of tart spices and honey. Prices are reasonable as well for the nicely designed environment and high quality.

This USED to be our favorite little Thai mini-chain (5 of them in San Francisco, started with the first one on Geary by two Thai sisters) and the best and most interesting Thai food we ever had. It went downhill a little during the last year or two but last night was the WORST Thai food we have ever had. Pad Thai had over cooked dried out beef, little flavor and wasnt blended but just dumped in the bowl and the carrots were only crudely cut and a bit dried out.The papaya salad had little seasoning, too much vinegar. The friend crispy chicken wings, though they were crispy, had an odd and not Thai flavor. Its a 2* instead of 1* because the setting remains beautiful and the service was adequate. And the prices have possibly doubled. It seemed odd that it went downhill this much; I teach management and so I checked–– as I guessed might be the case; it was sold to a Korean company called Food Capitals which owns pizza franchises among other things –– and I think they are treating this like fast food. Frankly, the food would have been better at McDonalds (or at least Burger King) at perhaps 1/5 the price. Very sad.

This place has cocktails, ambiance, incredibly attentive staff: more of a date spot or somewhere youd take someone you wanted to impress (with the attendant price tag).

We ordered for pickup. Food was ready very quickly and the person helping us was pleasant. Our pad see ew though didn’t have much sauce on it and tasted quite bland.

This place is a decent place to get Thai food. The interior is a bit on the fancy side, and lights a bit dimmed. Perfect for first dates or just a night out with your friends. Ive seen big groups taking the long table as well. The food is good, but doesnt feel that authentic. They serve varieties of beer and wine as well. I would go once in a while if I happen to be in Embarcadero area, but to be honest there are other Thai places that Id more willing to go.

I love how they bring together authentic Thai favor with elegant presentation. Food is real good. I try new items ; salmon avocado roll and friend giant squid with sales egg sauce.. again salted egg sauce super yummy!they busy all the time but food is serving fast and server is friendly.

Ordered chicken with basil. Meat to veggie ratio leaned mostly to ground chicken and mild red peppers and some Thai sweet basil. Not a hint of spiciness. My mistake for assuming it would be spicy like how other Thai restaurants would prepare this dish. I would have appreciated additional veggies and less meat. Would I come back for more? Probably not.

This place exceeded my expectations. It was delicious. From the frog legs to the Kobe beef dish, it was amazing. We had important clients with and I would highly recommend this place for any special occasion. You cant go wrong with any of the currys, they are all excellent.
