All the food we ordered was superior. The burger was so good it didnt need any sause. I would have liked more fries because they were all equally crisp. The crepes were honestly the best I had from any breakfast spot. I am especially a fan of all the lego displays they had.

AVOID!!! If you’ve seen many of my reviews you will know that I’m generally pretty generous with my stars so to get a “1” it was pretty bad!!! Poor service, order made wrong even after we questioned the server and we’re just blown off, asked for a coffee refill and she never came back, and when you see the quality of the food it was poor at best!!! Again…. AVOID!!!

Absolutely wonderful service and delicious food!! Can not wait to go back! My husband is a tough cookie to please and he’s said let’s go again tomorrow 😂What we had:Corn Flake Crusted French ToastRed Velvet Pancakes with cookies & bananasChiliquilles (This was a daily special so not sure if this is available everyday, but we sure think it should be!) The server was nice, but lets talk about the food quality. Zero stars. The eggs were super rubbery, and red velvet pancakes sucked(felt like I was eating raw dough). Coffee was horrendous (not fresh). My husband steak had good flavor but super rubbery. Kinda tasted like it was fake. My childs egg was weird looking (I actually removed it from his plate). Also, we asked the server for water and a kids orange juice, and she forgot to bring it them to the table. She charged the orange juice, and I told her to take it out of the check because she never brought it. This restaurant needs to improve their food quality. I wish them the best, but I would not be going back.

Menu is extensive with every type of pancake imaginable. This place has a hawaiian influence with a bit of Asian as well. Had chocolate chip pancakes with a combo of eggs, sausage and home fries. Husband had crab cakes benedict. All of the food was delicious and the pancakes were perfect! A bit pricey and wish they had sides of pancakes instead of a full order with combo. Server was very cheery and energetic although she never returned to our table. Other people did but never received the butter for the pancakes and needed more syrup. The place is bright and clean but loud as there is nothing to soak up the noise. Will need to return to try other menu selections

The menus are also not sanitized - they are reused and kept on the table.Food - 9Very good food. Syrup served hot. Omelettes were delicious. Took a while to get food with restaurant half full. But I would rather wait for good hot food than cold poor quality food. Definitely good food!Value/price - 3This is not cheap. For two of us - it was $60 out the door with tip. Good Food. Great timing for seating on a Sunday. Waitress who took our order was pushy and made us feel rushed, very awkward. The food made up for it, especially the crepes. The Benedicts had a huge English muffin that was cold and not toasted but the accompanying house potatoes are very well seasoned, cooked to perfection and made my dish tasty. Very disappointed in the $4.25 cup of coffee which was so bland. May go back and try other entrees just to see if this was an OffDay!

When I visited there were only a few people in the place. It has the look of a 60s/70s lounge inside. The menu is combination of diner foods. Im always simple, I just pancakes, eggs and sausage. The waiter seemed rushed despite only a few customers, but he was really friendly. My food came out quickly. Overall it was fine, but the tops of my pancakes were dark. I asked the waiter about it and instead of getting me new pancakes he just explained how hard it was to cook everything. I know another place Id rather go.

Hubby and went there 2 weeks ago I typically don’t give reviews unless they are good ones. If I’m dissatisfied I will graciously let the manager know and without a review, but assure them I will return for a second chance. Then I will give a review. This was the 3rd attempt. The food was good but very small portions for the very high cost. The server was not friendly and it appeared we were putting her out. ( This was the same server every time, what are the odds?)I’ve been in the industry off and on for 40 years.It would be a great Resturant with a few tweaks. But After 3 attempts with no change, We will not be back.😔

Out Freaking Standing. So delicious and the staff was attentive and the food was just so good. The Country fried steak was what I got and I also got a side of bacon and sausage and a side order of pancakes. Everything was fresh the little potatoes were perfectly crunchy cooked on the outside without being burnt and so fluffy on the inside. Just delicious. I also had a bite of my friends crepes and omg they were so perfect. The eggs I was served were some of the best eggs I ever had. I never eat all my eggs ever. These were scrumptious. I will be back and Ill be promoting.

Wife and I escaped the kids and wanted to try a new (to us) brunch place and found ourselves at After You Cafe. First, let me agree with other comments about the decor... Whats going in? It seems urban meets county plus comic books... Not sure whats up.To the important stuff: we were seated very quickly after walking in, but sat for a solid 10 minutes, or more, before we were greeted by a server. Our server was nice, but definitely not friendly or inviting... We ordered french toast + meal ($7 extra to get eggs, ham, and potatoes), and corn beef hash. We also got a mimosa ($9.50) and coffee ($3.50). Food was served in stages, one plate at a time with at least 5-10 minutes between each plate. First the meal part of the french toast. Then the corn beef, and at least 5-10 min later the french toast came out. Over medium eggs were served over easy... Poached eggs were served in a dish (not on the corn beef), corn beef hash was a small little patty about the size of a burger and a large servings of hash browns. The ham that came with the french toast meal was just sliced lunch meat that was fried on the griddle. The food was good (not great) but the ham... The ham was just trash.The bill had an extra $2 charge on it called non-cash payment. I happened to pay with cash and they removed the fee, but cmon... Build this stuff into your (already inflated) prices...

Went there for breakfast this morning. We were seated right away. However nobody came to take drink orders or anything. A table was sested next us a few minutes after we arrived and the waiter took their drink order and brought their drinks and did not come to us or even make eye contact. We left and even when we told the hostess what happened she just shrugged. This is the third different restaurant that has been in this location in the last few years. With service like this there will be a 4th one their soon.

The atmosphere is a fun 60s vibe, the food is amazing ordered the banana pancakes and it wasnt sweet but perfectly delicious. The service was great. Honestly, these poor reviews do not accurately reflect the quality of this place and it seems curious to me how these guests had so much to complain about. 10/10.

My Husband, son and I ate here for the first time this morning around 11am. It was a bit busy but we got sat pretty quickly. Our drink order was taken then we waited for the server. About 10 minutes later the server showed up and took our food order. I ordered Teramisu Crepes, my husband ordered corned beef hash and my son got the pancake breakfast for kids.The crepes were the worst Ive ever had. They tasted like flour and were super thick instead of light and airy. The marscapone was super runny. They were not good at all.My husbands corned beef hash looked like it came out of a can.We never saw our server again so we couldnt even ask for something different.The prices are way too high for what you get.We will not be coming back.I can not see where I can reply to the restaurants response to my review so Im posting it here.First off I have only ever had fresh crepes so Im not sure why youre implying otherwise. Crepes are supposed to be thin and airy not think and gummy only tasting of flour.Second you didnt address the service. Only having one server on the floor for the entire restaurant is unacceptable. The busses confirmed that there was only one server on the floor. We only saw our server once in our entire visit ans that was when he took our order.No follow up to make sure everything was good or if anything else was needed.We will not be a return customer and will be telling our local friends to not visit your establishment either.

Havent tried this place before. The waiter waited on us very nice. Unfortunately the food had a lot to be desired. My chorizo was okay but extra spicy and the potatoes a little overdone. My husbands omelette was also okay but there was hardly any cheese and a lot of corned beef, which made the corned beef taste overwhelming. Also the dishes were little tasteless unfortunately.Plus an order of toast is just one piece.The coffee was just terrible. It was so strong even the cream wouldnt lighten it up.But as I said the best thing about the restaurant was the young waiter who was very nice and attentive but three quarters through our meal everybody disappeared and that was the end of our service. My husband actually had to go find somebody to pay.We like trying new places but we wont be back to this one.

Stopped in for lunch.Was sat immediately.The interior was clean and spacious.Ordered the spicy western burger with sweet potato fries and a tai tea.The burger definitely lived up to its name.It was spicy and full of bbq sauce!(Warning- you may want to order extra napkins and water to go with this one.)The staff were friendly and attentive.And took good care of all their patrons.The sweet potato fries were satisfactory but a little under seasoned. Luckily I had plenty of ranch and bbq since to dip them in. The tai tea was a great compliment to the spiciness of the burger.Over all a great cafe to try out if youre ever in town. I cant wait to come back and try out breakfast!Update- came back for breakfast.It was great! Do yourself a favor and get the blueberry cheesecake pancakes.You can thank me later.

The cooks always take care of my friend and me when we go and theyve even made exceptions to order modifications. Its the kind of place thats small enough to make those kind of adjustments. With so many breakfast options in town, I will not be back. I walked into an empty restaurant hopeful that, since I was the first one, I would be greeted and walked to a table. Instead, I was shouted at and told to sit at a table the employee pointed to from across the restaurant.I thought little of that and did not see it for what it was: a harbinger of what terrible service was waiting for me.I sat down and found the menu stacked on the table, as all the others were. Although I arrived at the opening, the table was still sticky and did not appear clean.The wait staff came to the table and asked what I wanted. I said I had never been here and needed a few moments with the menu but would like water. That took so long, when she returned with the water I was ready to order. She dropped off the water and in futility I tried to tell her I was ready to order. She made eye contact with me, held up a finger in silence, and walked away.Eventually, she came back to take the order. More people began filing in the place, and I heard the order of the table behind me. My water had run dry, and every attempt to flag an employee for more water was unsuccessful.Thankfully I heard the order of the table behind me, because when she came back (no water) she tried to give me the food from the other table. I told her what I ordered and said that food goes to the table behind me. I threw in that I could use some water, Oh was the only response.After continued waiting, my waffle combo arrived. I thanked her and asked for more water in vain.As I tasted the waffle, I needed water like a camel traversing the Sahara. The waffle tasted like it came from a $1 just-add-water mix, similar to a cheap hotel self-make waffle bar. The eggs were just as bad; tasted like a premix egg liquid that was mass-cooked. I had camp food that was better.Finally, my pleas for water were heard; Neptune must have looked favorably upon my plight. I could not finish the meal and left disappointed.I realized I did this to myself. In my desire to try new things, I was given a truly awful dining experience. If this is a representation of breakfast, one might be tempted to forever skip the meal. Thankfully, there are many other and better breakfast options.Also, the prices are extremely high for the quality and portions. I will not be back to this place and encourage you to stay away.

Tried this place for the first time . I had the Trio French Toast Combo.It was really good . My wife had the Strawberry Lemon Sauce Crepes they werent as good. Thats why a 4 star instead of 5. The only bad thing is this place is very expensive for breakfast for 2 people $65. While the French Toast was good $15 for 2 slices of bread is very expensive in my mind.

I was impressed by what we had today at breakfast. 4 star is not right, I am here to give them 5. You will not be disappointed. We had chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy, and the chili benni. Every component from the gravy to the home potatoes were on point. Good size portions to boot. Clean, Causal, unassuming, bright and open atmosphere. Decided to try this place out for the first time and unfortunately left disappointed! The food is ok, pretty mid, not spectacular, but the service is what really killed it for me. I did come on a Saturday morning, but it was before 10 and there weren’t a lot of folks there, but my friend and I were really rushed! The staff isn’t super personable, very quick check-ins, but there’s a disconnect in communication which led them to take my coffee while I was finishing it! They started clearing our table before we paid! My friend and I had finished and paid before our cups were empty I thought I was asked if I wanted more coffee, so when I said I was okay I was surprised when he took both our coffee cups away! He took them away fast enough we couldn’t stop him before he had tossed the creamer cup into my coffee up.Message received! Loud and clear! Even though there were other tables available they wanted us OUT! Our total time there was less than 45 minutes so I know we weren’t lingering too long, but wow! Honestly, my friend and I sat at the table for a minute with our mouths open like carp before we decided to finish our time together elsewhere!Hopefully you’re in a hurry!

I had an English breakfast. None of it tasted very good, which is unfortunate for a breakfast restaurant. The chicken sandwich was also okay. Coffe didnt taste fresh. The service was fine. Price a little high for me considering how mediocre the food was. Its okay if you just need some food, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Best strawberry - lemon pancakes weve ever had. Eggs and breakfast potatoes were perfectly prepared. Coffee is great (were coffee snobs). The staff is friendly and will adapt any menu items to your liking. Unique French Colonial Southeast Asian twist thats great on the palate. Bon appetit!

Tried this place for the first time I had the Bananas Flambe CrepesIt wasnt as good as the menu described, nor their was nothing special about flambe!! I was very disappointed! The bananas were freshly cut and placed around the crepes with some kind of orange flavor sauce to pour over. This place is very expensive for breakfast for 2 people $65. While the Bananas Flambe crepes arent worth it, especially for the price $15 on average for just the crepes and another $8 to make it a combo, NO WAY NOT WORTH IT!! My husband got the Scramble Steak and eggs ($21) and said it was unseasoned and dry his food wasnt as good as it appeared. Horrible service our waiter was friendly but couldnt understand anything I was asking our food comes out cold all at separate times & about 10 mins between each plate I finally ask the older waitress whom I assume it was the manager or owner to please remake my Crepes told her I order Bananas Flambe Crepes not plain Crapes she took my Crepes and brought it out very fast I assume the cooked just mixed the same bananas with the same sauce and pour over the same crepes that was served ones ! no specialty, Bananas Flambe Crapes for sure!VERY DISSAPOINTED & UNSATISFIED with the food & service wont be coming back for sure. So after reading the comments and talking to my wife we decided to take the leap and try OUI out. And we are glad we did. Not going to lie the interior and atmosphere is a bit odd but the silent service and Fantastic food made up for it. I believe the owner was our server but I understand in these times its hard to find employees. He did a great job and had a high chair ready for my daughter. Without even asking, usually some other places I need to remind our host or server for a high chair. But Im getting off topic. The food was fresh and out of this world. Pancake where fluffy and full of fresh fruit. I can tell care is put into the food. I think people need to chill out and just enjoy the food. And some negative comments I feel are people that felt weird being around an Asian style dinner. They serve American food but I can taste the love in every syrupy Pancake. Me and my wife will be back for more

1st time at Pancake n Eggs and It will be the last time. We had the waitress from hell who happens to be the owner. The waiter who help us initially was courteous and knowledgeable. The little girl who brought our water took one back because I was drinking coffee. Only brought 3 bags of sweet & low to top it off. The waitress/Owner should be fired. The only thing that was hot was the coffee and hash browns. The main course was cold that my date couldnt eat her portion. To top it off saw about 4 couples leaving the restaurant before they were seated. As they say 1st impressions is a lasting impression. If I could Id leave no stars.

We were pleased to have another restaurant available so we thought we should try it. We had a short wait and were seated in a nice spot. It went downhill from there. The floor was dirty. The window sill were dirty. The menu was at the table. We came for breakfast and had french toast and pancakes, $11 each. Weak coffee was $4.75. I can’t say that for what we got for that price was anything to come back for as it was just average, no shout outs here. Perhaps they will improve with time bcut unless they pay attention to atmosphere and cleanliness, there’s no reason to go back.

Im giving them a 1 because my husband said his food wasnt that bad. But the service and the wait staff were horrendous! We walked in and were completely ignored. We were finally seated and waited and waited. Placed our order, my husbands food came but not mine. We had to ask for it, it came another 5 minutes later. When it came, it wasnt what I ordered and it was cold! They proceeded to argue with me! We watched as they made people wait outside to be seated when there was many empty tables inside with wait staff standings around doing nothing . As Im writing this review at the table a woman comes to our table and tells us if youre not happy dont come back ok? So I guess we wont be!!!

Horrible experience. Went there today as a party of two people only to wait for 25 minutes before anyone even bothered to take our order. By then multiple people who had come in after us were already getting their food served. Then when we finally ordered the older waitress lady came to tell us they had no burgers or sandwiches available. Well maybe they should have had a sign up saying half of their menu wasnt available to order. We just asked them to ring us up for our drinks which we got charged 10 dollars for one cup of orange juice half filled with ice and one cup of coffee which tasted like dirty water. Rip off. Never going back again. Deserves zero stars but im giving it one star because of the nice busser who was running around working hard. The place has been short staffed but maybe they wouldnt be if they paid decently to work for them.

My family & I were so excited to try a new breakfast restaurant. Sadly, although there were only 4 other tables of people eating, and plenty of staff today (Saturday at 11am), our food took forever to come out after our daughter was first served just her bacon, very undercooked, then about 10 minutes later her breakfast potatoes arrived, 5 minutes later her pancakes, then my avocado toast, & finally, 10 minutes after that, my husbands pancakes, bacon, sausage & eggs arrived.First of all, my husband’s eggs (ordered over medium) came out with clear runny egg whites, which he sent back, they recooked the same eggs & brought them back; the pancakes were really thick & gummy & we could hardly swallow them; the margarine served on the pancakes was so disgusting it’s not fit for human consumption; the bread used for my avocado toast was thin, completely dried out, and tasted like cheap generic wheat bread! also, it took forever to get anyone’s attention to ask for any utensils to eat our food with! In addition to this, they never even wipe their menus down, the sugar shaker was sticky and physically dirty, and the server never asked if he could get us anything else nor asked us how our food was. I’m sure the owner will tell me, as she has told all of the other reviewers, if we don’t like it, just don’t come back. No problem, there’s so many other very good places to get breakfast in Temecula like Original Pancake House & The Broken Yolk. No problem, be assured we shall not be back.

Today, me and my family went to OUI. When we got there, I noticed small crumbs on the table. Then, we noticed that the silverware was dirty! They didnt give us straws until we asked for them! Only one waiter looked happy and smiled, and the pink lemonade was cheap trash! However, the food was indeed delicious, as they used different types of cheese for the grilled cheese, and the crepe was extraordinary!In summary, horrible service, good food!

Terrible food. I took about 3 bites and left. My screwdriver had zero alcohol. I took a couple sips hoping the alcohol wasnt mixed in yet. There was just no alcohol. Would never eat here again. And the server had a booger hanging out of his nose.

I was there this morning. Heard about this new place. I rate the food a 10. Menu looks unbelievable. However, the waitress took 4 minutes before asking me if I wanted something to drink. Another server was cleaning the table in-front of me. They never came by to ask how the food was. And they were not busy at all. With that said., I will go back for the food. The Chicken Fried Steak was maybe best I have ever had. I here the owner is great but he needs to reign in his staff because the front of the house needs a lot of improvement if they are going to survive in a location that has seen 4 businesses fail in 8 years at that location next to Leslies pools.

A small place with a crowd, the waiting was about 15 mins from sign in to sit down, the menu has decent variety but the food leaves alot to be desired for the price. Overall you get better food from an IHOP at 2/3 of the cost of this place. If the quality rises or the price drops, it will reach a good balance. No reason to have 4.25$ cup of coffee.

Waited 15 minutes to be seated by waitress .40 min later she still had not taken our order or anyone else she just seemed to wander around. Eventually a man came over and took our order and 4 others . Food came out quickly and was pretty good. Get rid of the useless waitress.

First experience I had was amazing. After that it started to go downhill. The next time I went they rudely threw down the plates of food and had an attitude when they messed up on my wife’s order. Then the last time it felt as if they were rushing my group to order. The sever kept trying to move on to the next person when the current person was not finished ordering. To top it off it took an act of congress to get one refill of coffee. I had high hopes for this place & thought i truly found a breakfast spot for my family but the horrible service has made me reconsider. I will not be going back. Delicious crepes though.

I will give it no starts, please see your credit card charge and the service awful. On 2/27/2022 my family and i went there to eat. Is that they charge $4.00 with out my consent or knowledge after i already sighed the credit card for the amount i owned $68.95. i checked my credit card pending transaction and i see a charge of $72.95 I didnt Authorize this Transaction. Careful with this restaurant they will charge your credit card with out your Knowledge and I did not authorize this transaction. Good luck.

We stopped because there were people outside so we thought we would give it a try for mothers day. We scanned the qr code and were number 13 on the list so went and did some shopping then came back and waited. Finally got seated at a booth ment for 2 (it was 2 adults and a toddler) the lady who took our drink order gave us 2 sets of silverware and walked away before we could order our daughter a drink. When she brought ours we asked for her drink and she just mumbled ok then set it down rudely when she brought it by. They finally took our order and we got our food and didnt see anyone until we were done when they dropped the check at our table. The crepes arent worth it especially for the price $15 on average for just the crepes and another $8 to make it a combo. They were alright my husband got the steak and eggs ($21) and said it was good the pancakes (kids meal $8) were very good.

The wait to be seated wasnt bad, the fact that we werent acknowledged until we were seated was annoying but meh whatever. The waitress tried seating us at a table with dirty dishes, she took them away and the got annoyed and an attitude when we asked her to please wipe the table down. She did this to another group too. We ordered Diet Pepsis, which werent not Pepsi and were gross. One ordered the ham and cheese omelet, 5 eggs but flatter than the crepes, and not great. The potatoes were maybe enough for my 4 year old. I tried ordering the Eggplant crepe which is the reason we chose this place. Just to be told anything eggplant was no longer available. Bummer so I got the spicy chicken crepe, which was good, not the best crepe I have had, but not the worst and good enough to eat all of it lol. The salad dressing was delicious. Overall, the food was good, the service was flat out ridiculously lacking. I understand they are short staffed, the note on the door states this. But that does not mean that waitress gets to walk around giving everyone stank eye, and attitude anytime she is expected to do her job. A simple smile would of went a long way, a polite hello, would of moved mountains. But nothing but attitude and an air of inconvenience. The food is the only thing that earned the 3 stars.

The pancakes looked pretty and fancy but were awful tasting they use cheap flour, and they were bland, I never tasted the Kaulua in my pancakes. The hash browns were under cooked. My family and I will never go there again.

The food here was amazing! The staff is very kind and quick to refill the drinks. The food portions are large. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Everything was cooked perfectly. My wife had an omelette, hash browns, and English muffins. We would definitely recommend this place, and come back again.

We just moved to the area and we dropped in thinking it was a coffee place, not realizing it was a restaurant. The owner was so kind, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. We only got chicken strips for our kiddo, but we are so excited to come back this weekend for their crepes! The kids chicken strips and fries are a great price, and were perfect for my kiddo.

Excellent food, coffee, and iced tea at post-pandemic prices.We expected to wait on a busy Sunday morning, but once seated, didnt expect to have to wave our hands to flag down someone to take our order, which arrived quickly thereafter.Service is very friendly but erratic, as mentioned by several others, with food being served almost in shifts. That said, we knew they were short-handed, but waitstaff appeared very disorganized overall.Well give it another try on a weekday.

Made my daughter feel sad and uncomfortable, she has a tooth that it causes her insecurities not her fault. And he told her o to much candy that’s why the tooth like that. Dont get the Reuben sandwich.It has four very thin slices of pastrami, almost nonexistent sauerkraut and cheese.. but lots of rye bread! As a matter of fact the 2 slices of rye bread were wider than the meat and cheese in-between. All I tasted was bread.The fries served with this sandwich were very good though.But not enough to redeem this meal.

Can you say d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s? Neither could I as the Blueberry cheesecake pancakes took my will to speak away. From the crumble and whipped cream to the actual pancake this thing was The BOMB! Sadly I couldnt finish the dish in one sitting...at least not without exploding. On the bright side Ill get to taste these flavors again. Come try them out and check out the rest of their menu while youre there...you wont be disappointed.

Nicely Bright and yellow. Looking for fun pancakes this is the spot many of thier pancakes that are named after superhero. We walked in about 10am on a Friday. There was only one server. There was 5 groups in tables so waiting wasnt too bad but once more people came it by 1030 it became much harder for server to atten to all of us. My nephew got pancakes and made it into a meal really big servings. I got the chiken fired stake, the gravy was too thick for my liking. Highly recomed the tai coffee.
