TL;DR: Rice portions are smaller than usual but the subpar quality and inconsistencies eclipse any highlights. Service is unaccommodating and for $40+ a person, I would not recommend coming here.First impression: 730pm weekday dinner and it was very empty. Cramped restaurant and cramped parking lot but that shouldnt be a problem since nobody was here.We did the AYCE and it was a hit and miss, with a lot of misses. Fish was incredibly inconsistent and so was the service.Salmon: Maybe get?It started with a few trash pieces that were very fishy, lean, and had a bunch of skin on. I love salmon and had to get another batch just to see and it started to get a little better but some pieces still had skin on it lol. I saw a different table order literally 40+ pieces in a single order and they all looked perfect... very disappointed in our orders.Paradise Roll: SkipIts loaded with spicy tuna and its probably the most spicy, spicy tuna weve ever received... Only had 1 piece and we asked the server if there is any way we could just not eat the rest of this large 8 piece roll. They immediately declined which left the rest of dinner with a bad taste in our mouths--literally and figuratively.Yellowtail: GetThis was probably the most consistent thing and every piece had a really nice buttery finish to it.Tea: Costs $4Id skip this if I knew it wasnt includedService was friendly but unaccommodating when we got a roll that was so outlandish. Drinks and plates took awhile to be refilled and since it was so empty, they seemed bored and would just be busy gossiping about whoever. I always order takeout from this spot and it never missed! I usually get the bugolgi bento and it comes with a ton of food. There’s the meat, rice, salad, soup, 4 California rolls, and mixed veggie and shrimp tempura. I love their spicy tuna sushi as well. The cooked salmon is also decent. Everything is always super tasty!

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting.We went as a family of 7 and sat out on the terrace..We started with the miso soup, which was light and flavorful. Then, we had the large sashimi platter, which was fresh, thick cuts and delicious. The shrimp tempura was crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had fried oysters, a roll with cooked eel and a roll with scallops, both of which were incredibly flavorful.Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to answer any questions we had.Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Ozen Sushi. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great authentic sushi experience.

The food was so delicious! the salmon in particularly was some of the best i’ve ever had. i recommend this place 10/10! the staff was also so friendly and nice to us. 너무 잘 먹었습니다! 수고하세요!

Make sure you like fake crab and mayo, because thats what the sushi here taste like. Even the spicy tuna is not recognizable. Good place for drinks, not food.

Ozen sushi has always to me had quality sushi. They use fresh not frozen fish. Recently went to the one on Lincoln Ave in Buena Park and were a little surprised. Understand the times with inflation on the rise the all you can eat is $39.99 now. That is pretty steep. What really got me was that they limit your all you can eat on salmon and tuna sashimi. It’s not like either one of those items are seasonal or in high demand. How can one justify the high price but at the same time limit how many you can order at all you can eat. I could understand if it was steak and lobster or the similar but it wasn’t. There was plenty of seating outdoors. We sat inside and the service was still lacking. Totally understand there are staff shortages but we still paying full price. Ultimately, it was a lackluster experience. The quality of the sushi was good, but the experience is not worth the premium.

This is our go-to local spot for AYCE sushi. While I see some complaints about the price, I gladly pay for my family to enjoy the consistent quality of Ozen. With Covid closures and inflation, we are happy to support this establishment even with raised prices. We have tried other nearby restaurants recently and were disappointed. Thanks Ozen for always delivering great quality and quick service.

Food and service was good ! I would definitely come back. Everything I had was good except the shu mai LOL. Idk why I did that.I noticed the reviews saying service was bad but we didnt have any issues. There were only 2 servers on the floor, considering it was a full house, I think they were very attentive.The only thing is that I put allergic to avocado in the allergy box but I still got avocado in my roll. (Might be my fault since i didnt notify our server too.) But it was no big deal. I just picked it out.Thanks for the good experience!

Sushi was good, but more rice than what we like. There were 12 of us, celebrating our sons bodybuilding win, and the service was almost excellent, despite the demands of 12 people, 10 of which ordered all you can eat! The place looks rather dumpy from the street and I was a bit worried w the older look, but it was VERY clean.

AYCE for $40, its so worth it. Everything is delicious and made to order. Service is excellent, the servers are attentive and proactive. Not pictured are all the appetizers ordered (theres even a mini poke salad, yum!).
