Great little spot. Can get busy or be a super quick grab if you order pick up over the phone. Ingredients taste fresh. Highly recommend the PBR Roll! (And a flavored ramune). They have really great/sturdy packaging for to go sushi rolls.

Super delicious sushi spot. We had it delivered via Ubereats and 30ish minutes later it tasted super fresh when it arrived. I wish they had a little more selections or rolls, but everything we had was delicious and filling. Highly recommend!

This is an affordable and good place to get sushi and sushi bowls. I ordered a spicy tuna roll which was flavorful and well made. I would definitely go back to try one of their bowls as they look really good. I recommend!!

Great portions and tasty bowls! 🍲 We grabbed lunch to go on the way out of town and gobbled it up! Recommend the California Bowl or the Ahi Da’Kahine Bowl! Perfect for my gluten free, dairy free friends!

This is a grab & Go Poke Bowl spot. They do it chipotle style where you walk through and they add what you like to the bowl and ring you up, very fast and efficient. Dining in here isnt the best but if you are walking down to the ocean or just wanting something quick and fresh this is a great spot.

Unfortunately, the rice rolls were unimpressive and mediocre, resembling grocery store sushi. The rolls took over 20 minutes to prepare, making the waiting time frustratingly unworthy. The bowl is better.

Thursday is sushi rolls special! You get three small rolls for $10! I picked up the avocado, salmon and spicy tuna and they were all so tasty! I highly recommend! The seating is bench style so just be aware of that.

Loved the ability to select the ingredients I wanted in my poke bowl. Yum! Lots of options and glad it was all sustainable fish! I appreciated the team answering all of my questions. One person from our party leaned he is not a fan of raw fish and would order the chicken and avoid wasabi in the future (the rest of us finished his bowl with delight.) Options to eat in or out.

Delicious poke. Lots of choices. Friendly staff. Bang for your buck.The friendly and fast staff are amazing and the ingredients are plentiful, fresh, and delicious. A good variety of different fish and sauces. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. They also carry a variety of cold bottled beverages including Mexican coke.A nice quick place to eat in old downtown.

We had the intention of going to another place a few doors down, but decided to try this place on a whim as we were walking by. It was a bit pricey but the food was great! Everything was fresh and delicious! I have a shellfish allergy and they were so sweet and accommodating. I felt so comfortable that I ordered a sushi roll (one thing I miss dearly from prior to my sudden allergy)! I ordered the spicy tuna roll, which they made it on a fresh surface to avoid any cross contamination. As you can imagine, I was super excited to enjoy this roll, and there was no disappointment whatsoever!! My kids each got a bowl that they customized to their liking, and they loved it as well! We will definitely be back to enjoy more! Just a quick side note for you vegetarians or vegans out there, they have options on the menu for you too! My teen is vegetarian and ordered this ginger mushroom bowl -- it was bomb! I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day! ;)

I used to have a different favorite in the area, but it has been overtaken by Pacific Bowls and Rolls. I think the number one thing I enjoy about this spot is the sauce choices. The fish is alright, I love the shiitake option as well. Coming from Hawaii, good poke is hard to find. This spot hits the spot when I get that itch.

Pretty cool that you can make your own sushi rolls. I wish theyd get vegan fake chicken or some sort of pea protein. They had a good selection of toppings, sauces, and fillings. The staff were super helpful and nice. Recommend for a quick lunch.

The kimchi Mac and cheese is to DIE for! The girl who helped us out was super nice and helpful! Will definitely be coming back! Fresh selection of food and fish (for the dishes you want to add it to), clean dining area. Will say you do spend a pretty penny but good food is worth it for me!

When we ordered 2 bowls they served us rotten(or they had pesticides in them as there was a strong chemical taste). When we came back for a refund they called management and said they would only refund one bowl. We pressed our request and they refunded our bowls but the experience left a very bad taste in our mouths both from the cucumbers and their service

Only reason i am not leaving 1 star is because i know how much this affects business owners. As a business owner myself these are the types of employees i dread hiring. Walked in, no one was in the front. The employee peeks through the back door, doesn’t say a word and goes into the back room. I am left standing there and eventually walk away. Complete disregard for the business and for the customers. Yet they will sit there and complain that they aren’t getting paid enough. Horrible service. I can attest that the food is good. Hopefully the owner can hire a better staff as they have been lackluster before.

First time to try Pacific Bowls. Ordered one mushroom bowl and one bbq chicken bowl. Both were tasty, all the ingredients were fresh and the staff were very accommodating. Even with my mixup with the online takeout order we were completely happy with the experience!

The food is excellent but the service is abysmal. Nearly every time we order something is wrong with it.. often an entire bowl is missing or they didnt see the online order come in.We eat here a lot and usually to-go. Its absolutely delicious and is our favorite spot in the area. But man they really need to work on their service. I would be happy to call and confirm the order on the phone after its placed but they never pick up the phones. Odd since the place is almost empty on weekdays when we go. ((Sigh)).

This is a gem of a find for a quick, high quality sushi meal. After a morning of enjoying the Monterey shops, beaches, and tide pooling we head to Pacific Bowls and Rolls for a quick sushi lunch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hot Tip is to come on Thursdays when they have 3 hand rolls for $10. I usually get the salmon, tuna, and california hand rolls. They have drinks and we usually head outside to watch the world go by on Alvarado Street. Then head over to Revival Ice Cream if we need something sweet to finish off the lunch. The food is always good, service is quick but the rolls are made to order fresh. We dont mind a short wait for freshly made food. The avocados they use are always perfectly ripe too.

I finished the entire baked salmon roll special and enjoyed it. My cousin had the poke bowl and said she’d prefer here over poke bar and poke house. Love me a sushi burrito! Good selection of both proteins and mix-ins. Everything was super fresh. Prices on point or maybe even a little lower than similar poke spots. Limited seating to dine in but it is an option. Will definitely eat here again!

Okay, Ive got a lot of good to say. Yes its delicious. Yes you can taste the quality. Heres where they went above and beyond though, I went at happy hour and usually when food establishments do discounted items, they tend to skimp on quality/quantity. This did not happen. I got a sushi roll that easily would have cost 15 bucks elsewhere and was only charged 3.50. Also, the customer service. The man that helped me was so accommodating to my specifications and was super kind about it. He went above and beyond to create a great experience. Will be going back for sure, new favorite local poke sushi place.

Wow, the poke bowls at this place are so good! Very fresh ingredients, the fish quality is on point. A little pricey, but you get a huge portion of very good quality fish and vegetables. Its so great to be able to eat healthy food that tastes so delicious. Thank you!!

The food itself is pretty good. Seems fresh, good portions, and good quality for a decent price, compared to some of the options in Monterey. However, the online ordering process was a pain, no one answered the phone when we called to ask a question, and they were less than friendly when we showed up to pick up our to go order. Maybe they’re new and have some kinks to work out.

I stopped by after seeing that this new spot had opened, and I wasn’t expecting anything special. I WAS WRONG! This was perhaps the best build your own bowl I’ve ever had. I got the chicken over rice with a few extra topping, but the spicy mayo and tempura crumbs I got on top took the bowl to a whole new level. I would highly recommend this spot to anybody looking for a satisfying/tasty meal!

Really appreciated the fresh, locally-sourced ingredients; many vegan & roll options; great location just a short walk from Fishermans Wharf/convention center; helpful, courteous, fast staff. Attending a seminar nearby and wanting to avoid a lunch rush, I ordered ahead of time from their website. 2-scoop bowl on salad plus tons of extras ran me about $15 (with tip), but it was filling for lunch, took me forever to eat, was fresh and healthy, and they had it ready when I got there early. I used to really love Poke Lab and was sad when it left. But the flavor of The Lab bowl is so much better! Theres flavor in every layer of the this bowl. Its not cheap but its worth it!

Online ordering is a nightmare. No one answers the phone when you call to rectify an issue or ask a question; their voicemail tells you to leave a message but their mailbox is full. Wouldn’t recommend online ordering from them.

If I could leave a negative 10 I would! I asked for sushi and the server misunderstood my order and made a Bowl instead of a Roll. When I asked it to be corrected to a Roll the owners told me I would have to pay for the wrong order too. I explained the misunderstanding probably because of the mask and one of the Owners got very rude and started swearing at me that I needed to pay. When I dint pay for the mistake, he followed me out to the car where my wife and 6 year old was. He used the f word right in front of my son and wife and threatened me. WOW!!!

It was perfect when I wanted to eat something refreshing after constantly eating fatty food^^Its so delicious and you get a lot of portions haha.I liked the street in front of the store because it was so pretty.A farmers market is held every Tuesday.Luckily, the schedule was right, so I bought strawberries and blueberries at the farmers market, and they were delicious too.^^I highly recommend it haha
