My mom has been a resident at Pacifica Senior Living for almost four years. She made so many friends and loved living there. The staff cares so much for the residents and goes above and beyond with their care. Unfortunately we just had to move our mom to their memory care side because her health has declined. The staff helped make sure her transition went as smoothly as possible and her care continues to be excellent.

This is a great facility. I have seen and been to quite a few different assisted living facilities trying to find the right one for my mother.The facility is a little older however it is clean and tidy. The staff has been very helpful and has made my mom feel welcomed and safe.I did however have a few things that needed to be ironed out, as I addressed the staff they were able to make the appropriate adjustments, had good communication and resolved my concerns within a timely manner. I also liked that we were able to work together to find the best and most effective way to proceed regarding my concerns for my mother.I am very happy to have my mom in their care and know that she is well taken care of. I would recommend this facility to a friend or family if they were looking or needed assisted living.

Pacifica senior living has been amazing!!! The move in process was very smooth and the staff is so nice. Rachel was so helpful and kind and continues to do so. My father is so happy living there. He is truly thriving. There are so many activity opportunities for my dad to enjoy. I feel so blessed and thankful.

I am very much looking forward to moving my mom into Pacifica Escondido. During my tour, I had a wonderful experience with the entire staff. Rachel was welcoming and was able to answer every question. I did not expect my mom to be in a critical condition in the the hospital at such a young age but now going through this experience of almost losing her, I know moving her to assisted living is the right choice. Pacifica Escondido will provide my mom with a great quality of life. The property is nice and the team is welcoming.

I have worked with Pacifica Senior Living for 3 years now. I started as Activity Director and I was recently offered the Sales/Marketing position at Pacifica Escondido. Our Executive Director, Amy is phenomenal. She has a clear understanding of Pacifica’s Vision for our company and she executes it well. I can honestly say this is a great company to work with. I look forward to coming to work everyday because it is such a positive environment. I love our residents and our team is the best you can hope to be a part of.

I just wanted to share this photo from 2010 of my recently departed brother Donald Bishop (right, I am on the left in the photo), who was in your care until he passed away last Friday. My mother Edith and I want to thank you for taking good care of him while he was a resident there. I wish one of us could have been with him but I am thankful we were able to FaceTime with him before he went. God bless all of you!

My dad lived out his last years at Pacific in Escondido. The staff truly loved him and cared for him as if he was family. As a daughter I felt comfort knowing how well he was cared for and that he was happy. My dad died with dignity feeling loved by the entire staff at Pacifica.

Pacifica Escondido is the best place for your loved to be. Everyone from the sales staff to all the nurses and caregivers are excellent and really do care about their patients. I have had many difficulties with which they found immediate solutions for and handled with ease. I highly recommend Pacifica Escondido.

Pacifica Senior Living is a wonderful company to work for. My two year anniversary is coming up in July, and I am so glad I was selected to work for this company. When you have such a supportive and encouraging boss/Executive Director like Paul, it makes you happy to come to work. This makes such a difference because it really ensures a positive day for the staff and residents. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful here, from the caregivers to the housekeepers, to the wait staff to the front desk, everyone is a team and always willing to help out in other departments. The residents are amazing! We have such a diverse group of wonderful residents here, they make your day that much more fun. They put a smile on your face with their stories and experiences. If you ever come to the point where you need a place for your mom or dad, grandma or grandpa, please put Pacifica at the top of your list. They will be well cared for and treated like family from day one.

The atmosphere was vibrant and friendly, everything was clean and well maintained, and Rachael gave us a good look at all of our options. I first visited Pacific Escondido last year when my daughters Grandmother In-law was needing a place due to her dementia unfortunately she wasnt able to move there for other reasons but I was very impressed with the facility and their staff. I found everybody very helpful to the residents needs and the place was beautiful! Later that year I revisited but as a potential employee and was even more impressed on how everybody treated everybody (employees, family and residents), so impressed I accepted a position here and have been happy ever since. A+ place!!!

Ive been working at Pacifica for nine months and I have enjoyed every moment of it. Its not just a job, to me its like a second home. I have never worked for a company in the past where the managers are so understanding, they truly care about their employees and are always there to help. Everyone works so well together and wants to help one another, Its like a family. I feel so blessed to be working with such wonderful people and not only that but being around such wonderful residents. Every time an employee or resident leaves I truly feel like I have lost a close friend. Working here has made my days brighter and I always leave work in a better mood than what I came in with. Thanks to Pacifica I have meaning in my work and I cant think of any other place Id rather be.

Went in to visit my family member and was very impressed with this facility. As my dear great aunt gave us a tour of her now home we noticed how clean and well kept the facility is. Friendly staff who were very attentive to us and our aunt. The administrator of the building came to say hello and she was one of the nicest woman I’ve ever met. Super informative in regards to her building and the care they’re providing for our loved one. Keep up the great work Pacifica. Our aunt loves her new home. Can’t wait for our next visit!

I have been working as an outside Home Health Vendor with the the wonderful staff at Pacifica for several years. From the moment you walk in the door and greeted by Susie at the front desk to the caregivers and Nurses they are all welcoming and very professional. You can tell they all love their residents and work to make it a wonderful place to live. Pacifica is a place to consider as your new home.

Pacifica Escondido is amazing! The level of care and caring my 95 year old mother receives is awesome. She is always clean and well tended to. It is an updated, beautiful facility very well maintained! Everyone is kind and helpful! They made it a very easy transition for my mom and myself. I feel every confidence in her care!

My mother lives here. We chose Pacifica based on their ability to accommodate her dietary restrictions. Well, they dont really do a very good job of it. Not only do they not accommodate the dietary needs of the residents, the food is low quality and processed. The staff seems to be friendly and very attentive to the residents. My mom is very happy here and has made good friends with several other residents. Overall, it was the best option in the area for the price.

My 72-year-old mother has resided at Pacifica Senior Living in Escondido for more than five years and I must say that choosing this facility was the best & hardest decision my sister and I have ever made. At first, mom was reluctant to give up her apartment and live among strangers. She thought she was letting go of her freedom but this was far from the truth. We simply needed for someone to monitor her daily medications, prepare healthy meals and do light housecleaning. Mom could no longer do these simple tasks on her own and we were not able to provide the proper supervision. Walking into Pacifica is like walking into a warm-home like environment with many common areas that foster friendship and socialization. There are big comfy chairs, large TVs, a popcorn machine, a hair salon, a chapel, a lil store for necessities, a game room, planting boxes, and lots of outdoor seating with views of the manicured roses. The roses are my favorite. The front desk manager has answered the phone for years and seems to know the coming and going of every resident. No matter when I call, she tells me immediately how my mom is doing and where she is whether it is the dining room, vising with friends or taking a nap. When walking the hallway with my mom, the residents all seem to know her name. My mom feels popular. Residents share tips on the newest walkers & wheelchairs, who the new guy is, and pet the heads of the little dogs following behind. The cleaning staff is wonderful. They seem to have built a special bond with my mom and know exactly how she likes to keep her things. They close the door quickly so my moms cat doesnt get out. On occasion, mom has asked to call me back because she has a friend over (the cleaning staff). The same is said for the nurses at Pacifica. Medications are provided several times per day by medical professionals. When we take mom away for the weekend, the nurse will pack a bag of her daily pills and instructions on time to take and if food is required. Speaking of food, the meals at Pacifica are terrific, nutritious and plentiful. When grandkids are visiting, the kitchen has made quesadillas, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, or a second helping of dessert on request. We all leave the table full, including those picky teenagers. Guests are always welcome and the grandkids love to visit. They say the place smells normal, not like old people, and theres always lots of food and lots of stuff to do. The calendar is posted with the daily activities including field trips, bingo, movie night, etc. The kids like the WII bowling. Due to the great leadership of Pacifica management, my mom has felt safe and independent. With the managers focus on love and hospitality, my sister and I feel a big sense of relief knowing mom is happy. We recently asked mom if she would like to come live with us and she said, “No thanks honey, I would miss my friends too much.” Thank you, Jackie and staff, for creating a home environment and loving the residents like family!

Ive worked here for quite a while and its gone through a beautiful remodel. The community is so clean, well cared for, as are the residents. Everyone from the front desk to the waitstaff to the managers are always so kind and caring for the residents, the family, and the staff here. I hope to work here for a while. This company is so supportive for growing within. From caregiver to med tech, or server to dining room lead, you have so many chances to grow with this family Pacifica.

They entrusted me to be their onsite leader while doing what no other company would do for our building which is to renovate and give it the fresh re-model it was ready for. If something is needed our management and ownership will make sure it happens while they are committed to the safety of our residents and staff! I started volunteering in this community when I was child. Once I turned 16, I was hired as a server. Since becoming a part of the Pacifica Team, I have worked in every department and developed a true passion for senior living. The place is clean. They have a true chef and the food is healthy and tastes great. My dad is so very happy here. I have put off.putting my mom in a home, My friend told.me to go see this place.says its really nice.Took a tour was so impressed on how friendly Everyone was even the maids. My mom has Dementhia and is hard to please.,never happy. They helped us get her in the door. Took 5 weeks before we felt it safe to go see her. In the mean time they sent me pictures and answered how she was doing. Went and saw her.she was smiling,happy and said they have really good food.have taken so much off my shoulders and I dont have to worry. I highly recommend this place.for your loved one

I accompanied my friend in a tour at pacifica looking for a place for her nanna, the place is really clean and the staff was really amicable and made us feel welcome as we walk throught the doors; was greatly surprised with all the activities they offer and was happy to hear from a resident there that Pacifica is the best place to be and how emphatic and caring the staff were with them; like family she said!

I actually would give this place a zero. I know several residents there who have had both money, jewelry stolen!! Pacifica has had bed bug, rat problems!! The residents I know there have complained that it takes a long time for care takers to respond to their buzzers for help (I have witnessed this numerous times). Also, the meals are expensive and poor quality!! My recommendation is to run from this facility!! There are better choices in Escondido.

I just had a wonderful phone conversation with my Mother. She was so happy! She told me all about the Cinco de Mayo Celebration you had last week. She said it was so beautiful outside, she sat under the trees and ate with friends. I just wanted to know how much she and our family appreciate these kind and thoughtful gatherings you put on.
