Palms Chinese Cuisine in Murrieta

As always, I really like to start with how the food looked when it was first delivered to the house, so that will be the first batch of photos that you are going to see.Upon receiving the food and taking it out of the bag, I took the lid off both of the large containers. The first one that you see is The Buddas Feast which was basically veggies and Tofu. I havent spent much time with Tofu as Im a serious meat eater, but this seemed like a nice option to try. The second photo is of the Twice Cooked Pork with a requested spice level of six. They go up to ten so it is up to you. Since this was my first order, I elected to go with six. The final photo is of the Pot Stickers, which I found to be excellent in taste and quality. If you really like to dip into the sauce, you might want to ask for a spare one as they only come with one small plastic container.First on deck is the Buddas Feast entree. As I cant help myself I went ahead and plated it and the four photos you see are of the entree from various angles. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the flavor was great! I do think on my next order Im going to request some heat though as I think it would have helped a bit with the Tofu in the dish. As a whole though, this is a winner if this type of meal works for you!Second batch of photos (four total) is of the Twice Cooked Pork, which I also plated and wanted to provide various angles. As a reminder, I requested the increased spice level, so dont expect all the chilies on there if you dont want them! I thought that they did an excellent job with the heat level and the flavor was great! I do wish that there was more Pork included versus vegetables, but as a whole it is a fair portion and the meat is not dry at all. The photos show not only moist Pork, but some really great vegetables!The final photo is basically an aerial view of both plates with the sauce cup for the Pot Stickers in the middle for informational purposes.Final Verdict:I enjoyed the food that I received and dont really have any complaints. Maybe have a bowl ready to pour those cups into to mix everything as it was a bit challenging to have to mix it in the container for even distribution. Worth a try and definitely check out the Pot Stickers!!

Moo shu pork comes with little to no pork just cabbage and onions. The walnut shrimp and pork buns are good. Overpriced for what you get.

Absolutely the best Chinese food Ive had in while. Food was made fresh to order with great prices and good service.

Sweet and pungent chicken is the best. And unique.Atmosphere? Its a waiting area. They did away with in-house eating during Covid. Cant blame them at all.

Yuck! Went here for the 1st time (September 2023) and its terrible and expensive!The air in the restaurant felt greasy. The food smelled bad in the car. The noodles were overcooked and mushy.The orange chicken was dry and stringy.I felt sick after eating it.

Always filled to the brim with fresh delicious food. We get takeout from here often and have never been disappointed! They now only have one table to sit at and eat, but the food is just as delicious as always with very generous portions!

Sweet & Pungent Chicken, always fresh and hot! My spicy tuna roll was made fresh and tasted yummy!!

Had the house chicken and it was amazing. Great service too, fast food for real. I’m a big dude and I couldn’t finish the entire dinner meal. Had hella food left over and it was only $13💪🏽😅. This is my new go to spot

Horrible customer service, food was incomplete and tasteless. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, back when it was Peony. Used to love it, but the last several times, just not what it once was. I will not be back, and I recommend everyone else just stay away.

I use to come here with my family because they LOVED peonys. I personally always got sick so its been a good 7 years since Ive been here. Its now Palms and I gotta say the service made everything better waitress was amazing. Even the cook came out to check on us, service is everything . Food was OK all I can say is maybe work on flavor. But overall Id gladly come back .
