I came to Torrance on a whim and was SO satisfied by the food here! I got the Palsaik Combo and it’s perfect for a table of 2. I wanted to leave a review bc the portions are incredible(!!!) and the service is also top-notch 🥹🫶🏻

Went here with my friend because they highly recommend it and know I love kbbq. I was not disappointed. Im not even a huge fan of pork belly (shocking, I know), but the food here has changed my mind. I loved every type of marinade used, with the garlic probably being my favorite. Wine came in close second though. Truly a life changer. Another thing fantastic about this place was the service. Super friendly and down to earth. We didnt feel rushed at all, and they made us feel almost like part of family. The only cons I lucky didnt have to experience would probably be the wait time. Its a small place with probably about 10 tables but it really adds to the warm atmosphere. But even if I did have to wait, its totally worth it.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Palsaik Combo with 8 pork belly flavored with ginseng, wine, garlic, herb, galbi, curry, miso, and hot pepper. Also comes with kimchi stew, ramen noodles, mushroom, garic, kimchi & bean sprout, and a light salad. The stew was delicious and very flavorful even though it was on the spicier side. It was a very shallow pot so we were a bit sad since we went through the soup fairly quickly. We loved the garlic and really enjoyed the ginseng flavored pork belly. The wine was interesting and the others were as expected. They seemed to be marinated well since we could tell which pork belly was which even when they were mixed together.Ambience: 3/5 - only one speaker with music so it can be really load depending on where you sit. Seems like the store has been here for quite a while so its dusty in the corners and on some of the decorations. A portion of the floor is broken under table 2/3 and parts of the couch cushion is ripping. There are boxes and supplies stacked in the corner.Service: 5/5 - only one lad in the front of the house that greets you, takes your orders, gets everything you need, AND cooks for you... all by himself!! Theres prep work and cleaning by other people but we were very impressed by his multi-tasking skills.Value for price: 5/5 - fun experience and delicious food! Would be a great place to go for special occasions

Best Samgyeopsal place in town! We’ve been going to Palsaik since we moved to South Bay in 2017. The owners are super nice! Every time I have friends in town, I always take them here. The meats are much better quality than all you can eat places. Their ribeye which is part of the Family Combo is so tender and the marbling is almost like wagyu!

My three daughters and I came here for my youngest daughters bday. When we arrive we were the only customers there, so we were sat quickly and attended to right away. I mentioned to our server Emily that we had never been to a Korean barbecue before and she was more than happy to let us know how it worked and what was our best options for our party size. We ordered the beef combo family meal (not sure if thats the name on the menu) and it had lots of food and filled us up nicely! The kimchi here is mild and amazing, Im so happy its not crazy spicy like other Korean restaurants, and the kimchi soup was perfection! Also worth mentioning, the beef was if very good quality. So maybe within the first 30 mins after we ordered the place became packed! People just started pouring in and they easily had about ten tables to attend to, and it seemed two servers were sharing the floor. The owner also came out to help. They were all very friendly and helpful. The only problem I really had was with one item I ordered. Since we dont eat much pork I decided to only order one strip of pork meat for us to try out and share. After getting our food I reminded one of our servers, she wasnt Emily and I didnt catch her name, that we ordered some pork, she told us no, we only ordered the beef combo. After telling her we did in fact ask for some pork she left our table. I thought she might bring it over, but instead within 15 mins of that she came back to turn off our grill and briskly walked away. By then I knew we were not going to get our pork.If you expect to spend less than $100 to feed a family of four, well you definitely need to go elsewhere. But for the quality and quantity of food you receive here, the prices are very fair. I will definitely come back again when I have some money to spend on a very nice family outting.

My friend tried it first time and was very disappointed. Im embarrassed to change the fact that Korean dishes is actually tastier than those that are out there. The price outweighs the quality. The meat is tasty for 6 balls out of 10, the soup is the same. Atmosphere 4 out of 10. I know better restaurants with savory BBQ for the price.

Known for their Palsaik (Pork Belly) Combo! Its their name sake and executed very well. You will get 8 different marinated pork bellh strips with some ramen kimchi stew. I recommend adding some rice too. They help cook it and will guide you on how to eat it. Youll get some lettuce that youre supposed to wrap the beef belly with some sauce and onion. You can also add some of the side dishes too.Its also next door to Smog City West Brewery too so you can hit this and get some good beer!Plenty of parking too! Located in a strip mall with other businesses.Service was super helpful and shout out to William for being great!

Solid experience at very fair prices. Located in a strip mall it’s not a fancy place. Our server was awesome.Go early as we went at just before 6pm and when we left at 7:15 the wait list was long.

Palsaik specializes in pork belly. If youre not into pork, dont bother coming (though they have a single beef option as well). The pork is good though the seasoning is a little light. You can taste the flavor theyre trying to give it but often the meat itself needs some salt. Great service (though on a slow night) and lots of food for two in the basic Palsaik Combo. The ambiance is youthful Korean with k-pop playing in the background. No hard alcohol is available but the normal Korean beer/ wine.

The best place to eat a real korean bbq, the owner and team were so kind, the food was delicious, it’s my second time here the first a team dinner and this time a birthday celebration in family. We order the family menu really a full menu for 4 people. I recommend the reservation after 6 pm, but before that time you can eat relax and pleasant.
