Pamir Kabob House in La Jolla

04/02 This was our first night here. I’ve been craving Afghanistan Food for a while. The food was amazing. The chief is a genius at making any dish or dessert with a crust very light and fluffy! Never heavy or greasy!! If you want truly good Afghani Food, give this place a try! You’ll love it!!

Stopped here on a chilly night in La Jolla, looking for something different. I tried the Kofta Chalow, meatballs slowly cooked in tomato puree and peas, served with rice and greens. It was a generous portion, and tasty. The rice was perfect and the onions on the salad were fresh and very good. I finished the entire platter and was glad that I had stopped in. Youll be glad too!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They used to be located in RB and my family frequented there. I was so happy when they opened this new location. The food is so flavorful. My favorite is the lamb kabobs and my husbands favorite is the lamb curry!

Clean facility, friendly owner. The aush soup was just ok, lacking flavor.The combo platter was good, the beef and chicken kebobs were perfectly grilled.The side of spicy sauce was good. Good option if you want to try something different.

Excellent food very delicious and moist Kebabs its a must visit place! I will definitely come back! add this to your list you won’t be disappointed. Family owned friendly atmosphere, the only thing there’s a charge to share food and the servings are not too big! Fresh food!

Delicious! I’ve tried 3 different items here. Recommend the apricot chicken korma. The owner is nice and gives tea, cool decor .

Made it there for lunch,They have a lunch special $12:00It was a large plate, we decided on the chicken kebab, and kofta kebab.Chicken could of used more flavor,came with long grain rice and small salad with one olive in it.The kofta had a bit more flavor,but I wish it came with some type of yogurt sauce, it just ate a bit dry,Other than that the place was inviting but so many flies it was so annoying,Service was good.

We discovered this restaurant back when they were in Rancho Bernardo and we lived nearby. Longer drive to La Jolla, but worth it. Some of the best food we’ve had, and the staff are wonderful. Eat here once and you’ll be hooked!

Such delicious Afghan food. The Lamb Khoorma with spinach was something else. Next time we will try the Chupan kabob. Great service and great restaurant
