Panchito Mexican Restaurant in Citrus Heights

We had the shrimp quesadilla tacos, they were great. Super fresh and delicious. Prices were very fair and the staff was great.

Really impressed with this place. Sat down and within a couple minutes the waitress brought over still hot freshly made tortilla chips along with a steaming side of hot bean dip. A few minutes after that my chicken burrito arrived. This was a massive sized meal that included all the extras included - pico de gallo, shredded cabbage, cilantro. The meat was cooked just right, not too salty nor dry with a generous helping of rice and beans. It took quite a while to finish this monster sized portion. Total cost including a jamaica drink came to $13.

Absolutely the best in the area!! Always excellent food, amazing prices and the most appreciative and kind staff. I usually get food here at least once a week, sometimes more. The green chicken enchiladas are my favorite but everything is amazing!

This place was fantastic! It looks nondescript on the outside, but don’t let that fool you. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter. She accommodated my food allergies and helped me pick a dish that worked for me. We ordered enchiladas and tacos. Both were excellent! Everything tasted homemade. I loved the pickled onions on the enchiladas. Their salsa bar was super fresh! Tomatillo salsa was especially delicious. The whole staff was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Their food is really really good flavorful and authentic! I come here for the three street tacos and I usually get Barbacoa and El Pastore. They never disappoint. The owners are a really sweet couple, and they always have a smile on their face when greeting customers. I love that I can walk to my local neighborhood joint and get really good food for a great price. I always come back, and I will never stop being a loyal, customer viva la Panchito!!! 🩷 ps they have an awesome salsa bar for those who choose to dine-in

For a small place once inside you are greeted an food here is good Mexican food. The menu board was remodeled an looks better with colorful food items to see how the plate will look ( many to choose from) Good small salsa bar. Great atmosphere to enjoy your meal with company or by yourself. Worth going.

So I just stopped by here during work for my dinner and it was amazing. First off the man I ordered from was extremely nice and let us try some delicious flan and brought us beans and chips. The carnitas is 5 stars and the grilled chicken was amazing and my coworker loved the al pastor. Cant recommend this place enough.

They have the best micheladas! The service was phenomenal. We also had their enchiladas and aguachile and those were absolutely delicious! Definitely best Mexican food spot in all of Sacramento. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Amazing!!!! The second we walked in I felt so welcome and the owner was so knowledgeable and kind! Im vegan and I was able to eat here no problem! Everything is made fresh to order and my god this was the best horchata Ive ever had! Everything is pretty damn good! I love how the salsa bar is small and homemade! 💙💙💙 I got vegan enchiladas with the beans and rice!!! Everything was so good and it was even better as leftovers! Definitely recommend, as its great value for price!!! 💙💙💙

Honestly, huge waste of 25 dollars. The service was great like everyone says but it tastes like everything was cooked with sink water. Had an old wet rag taste.I’m a Mexican from the Bay Area where we have more Mexican restaurants than one can count and this place was disappointing.Will definitely not be coming back.The salsa was spicier than anything I’ve had and the veggies don’t go well with the burrito we got.Nothing special about the flavor.I was starving when I got there and I couldn’t even finish it as you can see in the picture.
