Excellent pizzas! Love the fact you can customize so many items on the slice. Delicious and flavorful with different sauces. Not greasy and did not feel overly stuffed. Would go back soon. Great friendly service as well.

Awesome. Tastes just like my favorite childhood pizza place in Pennsylvania! Almost certainly better with fresher ingredients. They absolutely nailed the garlic knots. The service is great too. We will be back!

Looks like a great place to hang out with friends over pizza and beer. If I was in my younger days, Id definitely come here for a few beers. The atmosphere is inviting for it.If however, you just want a quick slice and garlic knots, its also a great place -because thats what I did. They warmed up the order and put it in a box for me.If you happen to be looking for food while visiting someone at Kaiser, and narrowed your choices to this pizza place and that burrito place across the street, come here!

Walnut Creek has its fair share of delicious restaurants as well as fast casual spots to choose from. But it doesnt have a whole lot of pizza places, especially when youre in the mood for just a single slice of pizza. With that said and done, this takes me to panCoast pizza which focuses on their New York-styled pizzas. Located directly on S. Main St. and parallel to Highway 680 on the south part of Walnut Creek, this place has been serving their piping hot east coast pizzas dating back to 2012.What makes this place great is that the owner Bob Pancoast is originally from the Philadelphia/New Jersey area which means he brings a lot of his ideas out west. I ended up coming here during the evening of Sunday 9/5/2021 at around 8:30pm. Even though this was 30 minutes before closing time, they still had a very generous amount of customers ordering for dine-in and to-go. Since I live out of town, I decided to dine outside and take advantage of the warm late summer evening. The inside of this place is rather small but still allowed indoor seating as well as TVs, a self-serve fountain drink station, and a single restroom. After looking over the menu, I ended up going with a slice of their sausage, olives, red onions, and cheese while my +1 went with a slice of their pepperoni with jalapeños. Prices here for the slices are fairly reasonable as you can get a fairly generous slice in between the $5-7 range. In addition to the slices, they also make whole pizza pies as well as hoagies, salads, and strombolis. They also carry a fairly decent amount of craft beers on tap.Considering it was quite busy on a Sunday evening, my pizza still only took about 5 minutes until it was ready. Overall, this definitely has a nice unique New York taste to it with the crust being thin while still packing in a ton of flavor. The only real downfall is that since this pizza was sitting under a hot oven for quite some time, it didnt have that 100% fresh out of the oven taste. If I could critique one thing about this place and that is to not have that cracker crust taste to it. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my slice from start to finish. But it was still flavorful, filling, didnt have a whole lot of grease while it was generous with the toppings. The outside area was also well lit and spacious; perfect for those comfortable Bay Area evenings. All in all, panCoast pizza is definitely one of the better mom-and-pop pizza joints. They have fairly generous hours being opened Sunday through Thursday from 11am-9pm and Friday-Saturday from 11:30am-10pm. Decent prices, a very large assortment of specialty pizzas to satisfy all taste buds, and above average customer service. My rating, an above average four stars.

I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, 12 garlic knots, and 12 wings. The slice of pizza was delicious. The garlic knots were overcooked (seven were inedible) and had ZERO garlic flavor. The wings were overcooked and mostly inedible. The buffalo sauce had a good flavor and the blue cheese dressing was watery but delicious. Good job ruining dinner.

I am a bit of a pizza snob, I admit it. This was not my favorite style of pizza, sauce was not flavorful and crust was over done and did not taste good, very bland. I got two 14” and they were smaller than I was hoping for, especially for the price. I think everyone has different preferences for pizza and this was just not a match for me.

Thank you to the owners of PanCoast Pizza. There’s nothings like coming to a place and feeling like home! Love how friendly and down to earth they were. And love hearing their story of how the place came about!!!Place: 4 stars - it’s in a good spot but only a few parking spots. It’s a corner lot so it’s easy to spot. It’s kinda tiny inside so when they get really busy it can get really crowded. I like the back patio it’s nice and cozy. Even though it’s not that big, it’s still a good spot for a baseball/soccer team to enjoy some food after a game.Food: 5 stars - lithe food tasted so fresh. My favorite was the garlic knot! I can probably keep eating them if they’re in from of me, it was so soft. The pizza, it was thin crust just how I like it, cheesy, and lots of toppings! Meatballs were also the bomb! Love that marinara sauce that’s on the meatball, also good with the garlic knots!!!Staff: got smiles, their helpful and attentive!Side note: bathroom was nice and clean :).

Spent about $35 on a large pepperoni and chicken, 2X garlic twists, and a drink. The pizza was solid. No complaints, would likely try it again. My wife thought it was too salty, but I liked it that way. Thin crust made in the NY style. Not doughy and had a little crunch, soft enough where it could still be folded.Everyone working in the restaurant was super nice and that alone is worth something.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is every time we order and drive to pickup at the time our order is supposed to be ready we have to wait another 20-30 minutes for our food. I totally understand a locally owned small shop feel and the struggle of keeping up with orders, but would appreciate being told before driving that our order isnt ready. We will definitely order over and over, but a tad disappointed by our recent visit as the food wasnt the same quality as usual and we had to wait 35 minutes AFTER our food was supposed to be ready.

I have tried so many pizza spots around the bay in search of an amazing pie. The pizza looked really good and the staff was very nice. The pizza and toppings didnt stand out and it was pretty much one note. I will definitely try it again.
