Panda Express has never let me down. My food has always been hot and delicious with good size portions. I can get 2 meals out of 1 dinner order.

Well going to pick up food for my son early and I thought they were closed but kind of hard to open but theres was a beautiful kind lady and pushed the door open thats very nice of her to do that thanks for that lady and the staff are wonderful love it!!!

Its a Panda Express which means its a franchise chain, cookie cutter model of Americanized Chinese food. Much like McDonalds offers consistent food and service delivery, so does almost every other Panda Express offer its faire. This location is almost literally no different than any other Panda Express. If you like Panda Express and youre in the area no reason not to go here.

Did panda express change the recipe? Both plates we ordered had a very weird sweet kick to every single entry and side. We order panda express every week, but the taste was awful today. Broccolis in the Beef Broccoli are dark yellow color that looks like overcooked leftovers and the serving size of super greens in the take out order is half of what we normally get when we dine in.

The quality of this place is pretty bad. The food preparation, although pretty standard for most Panda Expresses, this place can mess it up. The latest one was, no salt in the food, hard chowmein, soft orange chicken. Something was missing in all the dishes. It just tasted bad (could be stale ingredients).The quality of service needs a huge improvement. They dont add the obvious things to the to-go packets despite asking for those while placing the order (soy sauce, plates, napkins etc)... Jeez.

Smiling customers indicate great food and value.Panda Express Bay Area locations in my experience are consistent in delivering a great experience. I also appreciate the lightly seasoned vegetable side dish option, in addition to the traditional noodle and rice choices. The flavorful entree sauces and adult portions make Panda Express a great value.

We decided we wanted to get food from here because we live Panda Express, so we pulled up and found there were too many people inside than we felt comfortable with, so we decided to do an online order and wait outside until it was ready. We got a time that it was expected to be ready, but that time came came and went without any notification that it was ready. The minutes just kept ticking by as the expected time of readiness just kept rolling over into the next minute. We finally had to call and ask if our order was ready and we were told that it was. So, I went inside to collect the order, and still had to wait while surrounded by at least 6 other individuals/couples also waiting.Because the pick up counter is on the opposite end of the entryway, I had to walk through a sea of people to get to that counter and again once I left. Pandemic measures were totally inefficient and ineffective.I know that not everyone has taken this pandemic seriously, but I do since Im considered high risk. Ive sheltered in place for over a year and now that Im gradually making my way back into the world, it would be nice if I felt safe in doing so. In this case, I did not feel safe.I love Panda Express food, so my complaint is not with the food. And under normal circumstances having to go inside to pick up my order would not be a big deal. These things are considered when writing this review. But, having to wait almost 15 minutes past the estimated time of our order being ready, having to eventually call, and finally having to navigate past and through people, and still have to wait was more than I feel is reasonable. If this was a 10 point scale, the number would be a 7. I have no way of giving 3.5 stars.

Usually quick but questionable Americanized Chinese-ish food, but 6pm Friday not good. Disorganized crew and process. After waiting in line for a several people to order for their whole families (and taking all the food I was interested in), they messed up my simple order. One item was even missing. Of course they have 6 ladies handling your order, so the gal at register does not understand - English or what the issue is. Definitely not a good experience this visit.

Went here earlier since I was craving for orange chicken. I got the plate, which consists of two entrees. They have the angus beef which cost extra, but it looks good so I decided to try it. For the carbs I did half fried rice and half fried noodle. Overall the food was fresh and generous portion as well. I ordered the drink, and since theres no self serve, they had to get the diet coke for me. Not a big deal. The cashier was friendly and everything went smoothly. Will definitely be back.

The food is good but the line is extremely long. There were at least 9 people working yet I still had to clean my own table and then wait 15 minutes to order. With all those employees youd think theyd have more than 2 people filling orders and at least one wiping down the tables.

We ordered 2 plates online and after getting home, they had put the wrong entrees in one of the plates. We went back and asked for what we originally ordered. That wasnt the problem.THE ISSUE: They put the messed up food BACK IN WITH THE UNTOUCHED FOOD WAITING TO BE SERVED!!!!!!! We took that food home, opened the box and luckily didnt touch it, and brought it back to show that it was wrong and THEY PUT IT BACK. This is food handling 101. Especially with a national pandemic going on, who knows what kind of germs have now been transmitted. For all they know, we could have done ANYTHING to that food, and they just put it back, serving it to other people.Is endangering your customers health worth the product loss? I dont think so and my family and I will never be eating at this Panda or any other ever again.

I wont talk about the food, as I hope you would already know what to expect.The main dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and chairs. Ive never seen them full. They also have outdoor seating.There is plenty of parking.The only awkward part of this store is that the location of the entrance and the start of the ordering line are very close together. It will only take 4 people and you may be standing at the door, holding it open. I occasionally see people outside, waiting to get inside.

The food here is fine, but do not make an online order for this location. The staff will not start putting your order together until after you arrive and ask for the order. So you will have to wait just as long as if you showed up to the location and stood in line to order, if not longer.

Servers are very rude and do not listen. A lot of the food was empty. One cook there and was just fooling around. Food was burnt and over cooked. Asked for the manager and was just ignored. Employees do not listen to what you want. They act like they do not want to work there. Wonder what happened to the old manager. She kept up on the employees and the food was always good. Now the food really sucks and the new manager really sucks.

I used to work at panda express. This one is the best in the east or south bay. The only problem is if you go after 830 (they close at 10) they stop refilling the line and make you ask and wait for whatever you want that they dont have ready. I understand they try to run out by the time they close as to not waste food. The problem is they here it is 9 pm and there are 26 people in line or just waiting for items to be prepared. The cooks look all pissed cause they started cleaning up and breaking the line down too early. And this happens all the time. Ill drive by and I can just see everyone waiting for food to be cooked. They dont seem to change their rate of production to suit their flow of business. Point being if your going after 830 be prepared to wait longer than usual.

Great food as always. One thing I didnt like was they had an Enter Only door and a Exit Only door. With the way things are right now I was glad to see that. We walked into the ENTER door and got yelled at by the employees. They said we needed to go back outside and walk around the building to the EXIT door and make the line there. If thats how they want customers to enter the restaurant then put the sign up correctly. When customers leave they use the EXIT door so in order to keep your 6 feet distance you need to move out of the way and out of line. Keep your customers safe and figure out a better way of having your line.

Better off going to Good Neighbor restaurant which is right across the street across from 99 Ranch. You can get three dishes for $26 at Good Neighbor Chinese restaurant

Tonight I stopped to pick up dinner on my way home from work. Waited half an hour beyond the time they said it would be ready. They had two employees who were not wearing masks by the food prep area, a male in a Panda uniform and a female in street clothes. When I pointed this out to the cashier, and that they had signs literally everywhere saying they would refuse service to anyone not wearing a mask as they had to comply with regulations, she responded that the female was off work and they couldnt make her do anything she didnt want to. I asked for a refund and was told that they couldnt refund online orders. I asked to talk to a manager. I was told she was busy. 15 minutes later I asked again as the two were back by the food for at least 10 minutes. I got a manager who repeated what the first person had said in that the female was off work so it wasnt an issue. I pointed out she was in close proximity to a food prep area with NO mask on. The manager said she would talk to her. I again asked for a refund and was promised a refund in 3 days. We wont be going back.

Watch out for the Teriyaki chicken, Ive been there twice. They just took it off the grill and started chopping it up. It was still red inside. Becareful for under cooked chicken. Make sure they wash the utensils and cutting board. They need to set the timer for more time on teriyaki chicken. 😵😵

But unfortunately we did not like this newark branch only for one reason..the portions were really small. We took our packets home and were shocked to see so little quantity of entrees and side portions. Other branches of PE always provides enormous portions so we were so disappointed today. The girls are super fast, smiling, very friendly, the impeccably clean bathroom is the best panda express that I have visited in 14 years that I have lived in the United States and even though I am demanding, I would give 10 stars if I could!
