Im a doordash driver. But today I decided to go into Panda Express to get a quick bowl of food before the lunch rush. I order the Bowl half rice half chowmein and chose to try the New Beyond Orange Chicken. The item was not out at the time (11:12am) so they ask me to wait, they even offered me a drink. So I wait patiently for 20 mins.. 20 MINUTES for a bowl, I have seen like 30 people get ringed up. So I politely ask them about my food, and I kept hearing them ask the COOK but he literally kept ignoring, and making other food, at this point its been over a half hour for one bowl, it was me and 5 other people in the restaurant, they were eating. I ask them can you please upgrade the dish to a bigger plate because no one should wait this long for a bowl. And then they tried giving me Beijing beef for some reason and at that point I almost just left. But they hooked it up and gave me a side of the vegan orange chicken. So thats cool, not worth the wait tho. Definitely wont ever go back here. Lots of places are Rude to Vegans, I just didnt think Panda would hate on Vegans.

I had a horrible experience here. When I walked in there was hardly and rice or chow mien left and even the entrees were on their last scoop. It was obvious the food had been sitting for a while. I was willing to wait for fresh food and the manager lizet was very rude about it. She did not want to help or accommodate. It was astonishing they were trying to serve the food like that. She rolled her eyes when I asked to wait for the new batch. I expect better service from a manager especially when the food did not look fresh at all. Never coming here again. It’s better to drive a little further to a different panda

The fact that it is located in the mall area w/all those awesome outlet stores (Coach, Billabong, Claires, Swarovski, etc etc etc!) was this places one highlight but their food was #$%!* DISGUSTING. Apparently they dont know fried rice is supposed to be FRIED. Their version was soggy & bland, hubby said their chow main was lacking as well. Their Teriyaki Chicken was cold & again BLAND only thing we had that tasted the same as other Panda Expresses (besides the fortune cookie) was their Orange Chicken & Walnut Shrimp, though the shrimp was a little cold as well & we ate their. Inside dining was WAY too hot to eat inside, tables were not clean & the service was lacking. No one looked happy to be there or barely in the mood to serve you. Been to other Panda Expresses, this one dis not hold up to its name.

Panda Express Carlsbad outlet- I asked for chicken teriyaki and sauce, (because who wants to eat dry Teriyaki) they assured me they would include. I asked the cashier again, upon paying. Assured me there would be. No sauce coming home. I couldn’t turn back around because I live far and was already on my way home. So …… Here’s a suggestion to cashiers ::: Do your job and don’t be lazy, And, don’t look so annoyed when customer ask twice- we ask for this reason 🙄.

Employee wouldn’t give me the bathroom code because i didn’t have a receipt when i was literally in line ordering, but her coworker gave the code to anyone who walked up and asked. i’m obviously a customer, so not giving me the code is ridiculous.

Overall the place is spotless. The ladies working behind the counter are constantly cleaning when they are not helping customers. The service is fast. The menu options are somewhat limited. If you love meat, you will be pleased. All the people are nice and professional. They have a mango unsweetened, very delicious iced tea. All-in-all I would go back to this place. I love a clean and fast-service restaurant. Seating inside and outside. They do have takeout food. Parking is plentiful. They are located in an outdoor strip mall. The mall is very clean and safe. Family and handicapped-friendly. The mall has two huge bathrooms. One at the north end and one at the center of the mall. Very kid, handicapped, and adult friendly.

This is a zero star review. Unfriendly staff that hardly speaks English. Lacks customer service you would see from any other Panda Express location. The staff hates taking special requests of any kind. I’m allergic to styrofoam so i ask for the red paper takeout boxes and the staff did accommodate a few times but it included some eye rolling when requested. The staff now completely refuses to place my food in the red takeout boxes even the manager. Hire new management and staff. The worst Panda Express location I’ve ever visited. Portion sizes are smaller than any other location and their sad sorry excuse is that it’s located in a mall.

The manager “Victoria” was really rude!! The restaurant was not busy at all!! and she was in a hurry, didn’t give my parents a time to choose what they wanted. She didn’t let me and my family eat inside and nobody was inside. Yet another racist place that only hiers people who speak Spanish not 1 true American . I have nothing against people who speak Spanish but they have NO real customer service with a welcoming smile or friendliness to want to go back there at all. They dont really listen to what you really want. I wanted fresh walnut shrimp not the last 5 peaces that were there all day dried up. But they gave them to me anyway. We used to really like this place until one night I went in ordered my food about 45 minutes till they closed we were the last people before they closed. the people behind me were obviously friends of the employees they ordered exactly like my order and there was enough left in the pans for all of us to get the normal sized amounts . The employees gave them all of it and then made me wait for 25 minutes to cook another pan when it came out they dumped it all into a to-go container and gave all of it to their friends and they didnt charge them a dime. I requested to get my money back and they refused and made me wait another 25 minutes When they did give me the food it wasnt even cooked thoroughly and they were mad because I asked my money back that they refused, so they only gave me half of what we normally get, then I had to go home and use my pans to cook it thoroughly.To say the least I used to eat there three to four times a week spending about $70 a meal for a family of five. Well I now eat there is zero times a week.. I would have given zero Stars if I could have, their food was never that great kind of like eating at McDonalds they all taste the same, no matter which one you go to.

Yesterday my husband and I went in for a quick snack. Upon walking in we were not greeted. When asked about prices of certain items to the young lady over the counter, she saidlook at the board. She was no help and had her very poor customer service. Ended up only getting some cold egg rolls.When my husband had talked to her manger she try to fight with us saying she was not rude. Instead of apopologzing. A simple how can I make your experience here better, she would of gain a bigger sale.Im sure she is a nice girl.. Maybe she just needs to brush up on her customer service skills or she was just having a bad day.

The service from Jessica was more that excellent and professional. I was here for a quick stop that ended up being one of my better experiences at Panda Express ever. I had a hard time at first trying to order from app. I walked in and Jessica was nice enough to take the time and guide me on what steps I needed to take. Apart she made every customer feel very welcomed while I was there and made sure the place was neat and tidy asap after customers left. I hung out for easily 30 min eating and noticed that all customers were well taken care of. Good for having someone like her around. Excellent service from someone who takes pride in their profession is hard to come by. Good for Panda having her around .

Horrible attitude of lady at register! Asked for bathroom code to wash hands and she yelled out, “the bathroom is for guests only”. Love Panda but didnt get a chance to enjoy it at this location. Why? Because they refused to prepare new food at 8:15 pm, despite them being open till 9 pm. Sorry, not interested in the soggy, left over mush that no one wants--especially when there is left than half of the usual entrees available.Is it really that hard to prepare a few small servings ? Its not an issue to ask for fresh food during the day, but towards closing time, its suddenly a problem?

Arrived at 8:40 (posted closing is 9:00) after a day at Legoland. Chairs were literally up on the tables, they were cleaning around people at tables, and they definitely wanted no more customers.There was little food left (no orange chicken!!!) and they were clear that they were not making any more.I asked when they closed and was told ten minutes which would have been 8:50?????This is the closest Panda to Legoland and I was surprised to get that kind of response.

The employees were so nice and kind!! The food is as delicious as always! I got to try the tea and it was very good! We ordered the bowls because one entre and one side are always enough for us! After several hours at the Flower Fields and later walking and shopping at this mall, Panda Express was the perfect option! With lots of free parking from the walking outlet mall it’s very convenient to park and shop! Follow me to find more great places in San Diego that we are visiting from Puerto Rico for two weeks and all the other amazing places I’ve visited around the world including Hong Kong, Bali and Cambodia!! #planforamiraclepr

The service is good it’s kind of annoying that I go there at least four times a week maybe three times a week and they asked me for a donation to Rradys every single time the first week that I started going there eventually I made a donation every single time but now that I continuously go and they continuously asked me for a donation every single time it’s getting old and annoying even more so that I don’t get to write it off as a donation. Do I really know that it’s going towards Radys as a donation, I don’t. but it seems like the restaurant gets to have the donation write off expenses and I don’t .

Panda Express is my go to place for a healthier meal to go. Just stay away from the sugar coated choices and rice or noodles. Green bean chicken, Kung Pao, Broccoli beef, Mushroom chicken are all good. The large container size is a better value than the medium which they keep shrinking and raising the cost.

Very good food and service, although it is a chain, there is a difference between the quality of the food from one place to another and in this particular one it tastes very good, I recommend it, especially if you are shopping at the Carlsbad Outlet

It was the one at the Carlsbad Premium Outlet. Not very cool was the first waitress who didnt take the time to listen to us for our orders even though there was no one there afterwards. Its a shame. The next one, on the other hand, was patient and served us properly. In terms of dishes, the sauces that accompany the dishes are really limited but this brand remains correct and very practical if you are very hungry.
