The food tasted a little off from their usual recipe to me, but the service was nice and quick. The employees were able to attend to our party of 7 rather quickly, which was great since we were on a tight schedule.

It’s quality for panda! Food was fresh. Has one issue of very little meat in my food and I didn’t want to complain. Very friendly employee named Kareli notice and offered to remake. I declined and the sweetheart brought us a new little box with more meat over. We appreciate you great customer service and hospitality!

11/26/22We stopped here on our way home from Arizona to grab dinner. The food was Hot and fresh. They were crowded but fully staffed and the line moved quickly. They also had a person wiping down tables keeping the dining area clean. They were out of Mushroom Chicken, but we only had to wait a couple of minutes for a fresh serving. I think the only negative was that the chow mein was missing a little flavor. But everything else was FIRE.

Staff were wonderful...personable and helpful delivering meals out to my car. However, and this is a big however, the Orange Chicken (freshly made) was so UNBELIEVABLY spicy that I sit here with my lips burning and my little elderly mother looking as if shell burst into flames beside me!! Please, please DONT adjust the recipe for this favorite thinking all like such spicy foods, even if located in Indio!! The original recipe is what sold the country on the Orange Chicken. Let people put on their own hot sauce. Really disappointed!!

Service was just horrible they didnt have anything made I asked for sesame chicken and they didnt have it had to wait 10 minutes. Asked for white rice they didnt have any.Asked for Beijing beef they didnt have none, it was going to take 12 minutes to make. The girl taking orders just had a bad attitude. I got my order but my sesame chicken does not have sesame seeds.

This place feels that the drive thru and online orders are more important than people standing right in front of them. Five people working and all of them totally ignored the people standing right in front of the counter waiting to order because they were too busy working the drive thru and online orders 🙄 absolutely no leadership happening at this store. Then on top of that the food was over cooked and dry...thanks for making sure your customers are not happy!

All the employees are rude, and slow. They are constantly out of their entrees, fortune cookies. Today they told me it would be 10min wait for the teriyaki chicken, at 8pm, with no nobody in the drive-thru and maybe 8 people inside. I said whatever got it anyways. I pull to the window still nobody else in line btw, ask to add a drink, chick said, but you didnt order one, and I said yeah, I want to add it and they she let out a loud groan like a child.

The rice was very hard, the little stuff cheese things weren’t cooked all the way. I had to go in for new rice and some of those cheese stuffed things. The costumer service is horrible. The food it’s under cooked and cold. My family and I use to go there a lot but the last few visits has been a big disappointment and waste of money. We will no longer go there. The owners should provide the right training to they’re employees to cook the food properly, under cook food can get people sick. I would rather have horrible costumer service but delicious food. I would of have u guys a good rating if the food was cooked, hot and delicious. Two thumps down!

I was not allowed to do two separate orders thru the drive through even do I had waited in line. They wanted me to do all orders in on ticket. Not good business. I brought this issue to the Manager named Daniel and said it was a recent policy. I did not see any signs letting customers know about the change. Bad business. I ended up leaving and going somewhere else. I did not buy anything.

ZERO stars! I got VERY sick eating here...migraine and throwing up. I left a review on Yelp and someone sent me a DM of how concerned they were and to call. I called...no one ever called me back. THEY DONT CARE and they DEFINITELY use MSG...if they say they dont...THEY ARE LYING! I get migraines from MSG. What a horrible business. If you get sick eating there...again...they DONT CARE!!!!! We stopped on our way to LA, the store was clean and staff was very friendly. Indoor dining was not available but there was a few tables outside. It was definitely hot outside and because we were traveling though we did sit outside. Hopefully inside dining is available now. Food was good.

Absolutely wonderful staff! Good food as usual. Very clean bathrooms and checked regularly. My husband and I came here twice on our way to California and back to Arizona. We could have stopped at one of the many other food places in this shopping center. But the staff here had us so impressed! Very efficient, quick, and super friendly (especially Vanessa!). We even had the opportunity to thank the manager for what she is creating here. This will now be our regular spot to take a break during the long drive.

My only 2 complaints are that the black pepper chicken serving that I ordered was 95% onion and celery and that I didnt receive S&S for the 2 egg rolls. I dont know if they were running out or if its just how they do it here. I dont want anything in return, I only ask that the servings are what the customers are paying for.

🔥The food was great, the tables were clean, but the soda machine was not working. They see you standing there struggling, but they just go back to their business. You have to be smart enough to stand up at the front for 5 minutes and ask for a drink. If I was working there I would at least put an out of order sign on the thing.

The food was excellent... but the service was soooo bad. I dont know if the lady was overwhelmed or couldnt concentrate. She got my order wrong and ended up charging me extra for some beef i didnt even order and she said i will give u extra beef to make up for it even though i didnt even order beef. She didnt even offer to give my money back and at the end she didnt even give me the extra beef. It was so bad that at the end i just felt it was pointless to try to correct my order. Dont bother ordering online, either they havent got the food ready to pick up cause the receipt is still on the printer or its ready but Javier at the register wont acknowledge you cause hes not in charge of online pick up and left me standing there on the next register for 15 minutes, oh and he did acknowledge another customer that he helped earlier that was standing beside me. It was only until another employee came to help ring up customer that she acknowledged me and gave me our food. I just hope they see this and try to change this issue cause I wonder if others are going thru the same thing.

Very good food, with generous portions, at a very fair price. Service staff was beyond good, very nice and polite to customers. Even though there are those customers who seem to want something for nothing. The staff was heck of lot more patient than I would have been. Ordered, Orange Chicken, fried rice and white rice, Shanghai Steak, theriaki chicken and broccoli beef. Of course a bag of Chinese Cookies. Overall excellent staff and great food.

Staff was unfriendly, they didnt have the entree I wanted so I ordered had to order something else. They then only took half my order so when I got up to the window they gave me half the food then shut the window before I could tell them we were missing items. After knocking on the window and waiting for a employee to take the other half of my order the girl was unfriendly and we our bowl didnt even have a full serving. Normally this place is really good but a couple days ago my order was horribly messed up. I ordered two plates and one kids meal but only got one plate and a kids meal. Then, the order in that one plate was messed up as well. On edit:I had a rather unpleasant experience at this Panda Express. I stop at Barstow Station a lot. This time i wanted Chinese food. I ordered a large entre, and there wasnt enough of my selection to fill the container. The person serving me tried to act like it was a full portion. I complained. A manager was called over. She tried to pass it off as a full portion. Only when i complained again, did she offer a discount. 10% off for 25% less food. Ill avoid this Panda in the future. Theyve lost my business.

I sincerely appreciate that there are essential workers doing the best that they can in the midst of this pandemic, however, I am very upset that I made an order with a panda bowl, including one side of chow mein, and one entree of shrimp, and I found out once I got home (I was so busy I forgot to check my order), that the bowl had both, but there were less than ten strands of actual chow mein noodles (and about as much of the accompanying vegetables). According to someone I complained to over the phone, that satisfied the requirement of the entree and side. Very angry about the terrible service I experienced today. If I could give no star in this review, I would do gladly do it.

Clean place. Fresh food. Staff is friendly and helpful. The a/c was not working properly, not sure if it was because it was 118 degrees outside or if it was because the opened kitchen. But it was a warm inside, felt bad for the cooks and cashiers. Hopefully they fix the ac for them, but even though it was not nice inside the ladies were very friendly and they had a smile on their face. Thank you!

I asked the lady serving the plates to give me fresh food as it was running low in all sections that i asked for. I waited for my food and then Janelle N the server i believe served me fresh noodles and old orange chicken then i reminded here that i asked for fresh so she dumps the orange chicken back in the same receptacle that she grabbed it from and i told her that was cross contamination and she just nodded her head. Then served me fresh orange chicken on top of the fresh noodles that just had old orange chicken on top of it after i told her that she just cross contaminated it. NO FOOD SHOULD BE PLACED BACK INTO ORIGINAL CONTAINER AFTER IT HAS TOUCHED ANY OTHER FOOD/ITEM, IT IS CROSS CONTAMINATION PERIOD, IT SHOULD BE THROWN AWAY NO EXCEPTION

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from this restaurant. My stomach starting hurting within an hour of eating here, later that night I was violently ill and out of commission for 2.5 days. To be safe, Id suggest steering clear from the orange chicken and the walnut shrimp.Oh, also a couple other things bothered me: 1) They were poorly organized and though they were rushing, their service was slow (perhaps how the food didnt get completely cooked. 2) Apparently Walnut shrimp costs about $1 extra, I wasnt ever told this, had to find out from the receipt--didnt see it on the sign.The dinning area was really nice and seemed very clean as far as I can recall.

HORRIBLE service. I work in the shopping center where this is located so I go here strictly out of convenience. No more . EVERY time I come here I wait twenty minutes for my food. Ridiculous. Today it was ten minutes after they opened Im waiting in the drive thru. No service. I had to call them and they said it would be ten to fifteen minutes before they could help me. I went somewhere else. I have over one hundred coworkers I will be telling to never visit this business again.

Not only was the kitchen staff not able to keep up with the orders, they had on eig the bathrooms back-up and had to close down the restaurant in the middle of us ordering our food, if that wasnt enough, the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken was bland and had little to no flavor. I dont know why the pandas in the Coachella valley cannot keep their food warm or in supply. We are always having to wait for something because they run out or dont have it cooked yet. Also the portions are pitifully small for the price you are paying. I brought this to the attention several times to who s allegedly in charge. however it seems it just goes in one ear and out the other because nothing has changed. I will stick to the smaller privately owned Chinese eateries in the future. I do not recommend Panda for anybody.

I can’t believe it! After many years of enjoying Panda Express, I’ve just had an $11.80 mistake. I purchased the bigger 3 entree plate to go. Black pepper chicken, beef and broccoli and angus steak. Half vegetables and half chowmein. Usually I share half with my partner. There was such little meat and noodles, and so much broccoli, that there wasn’t enough to share! I’m still hungry. I’m so disappointed! I hope it’s just the Indio location on Jackson and not a corporate change.

It is actually OK food. Delicious and well prepared by a very friendly staff. They are cooking for people who have what is called a Mild pallet... The food is mild and not very spicy. what Im trying to say is if they say they have a Szechuan dish it is not Szechuan. It will taste very good but it wont be typically spicy. Id like to preface this review with saying the food was good, better then some locations. My issue is unfortunately with the gentleman (my receipt says Austin) that took my order. While ordering I specifically said I wanted half fried rice and half chow main. He repeated back half white, half chow main. I corrected him saying no not white, I dont want white. I said fried rice. He verbally made the correction and went on with the order. Upon receiving my food it appeared correct until I took a spoonful of rice and noted that under a sprinkling of fried rice and chow mein was nothing but white rice. I called back, clearly irritated that my order was like this, and the same gentleman answered. Instead of actually offering any assistance or apologize he was snarky and didnt care to hear my complaint. I hung up after a minute of getting no where.

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant / fast-food chain for Chinese standards, including some health-conscious options. It’s one of my favorite Chinese restaurants for Chinese food. Today (October 8, 2019) we visited this place to eat lunch. They have plenty of options like Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Sichuan Hot Chicken, and many more. The food is good as always. The inside of this place is clean enough. They have outdoor seating facilities, too. The overall service is good and the price is also affordable.
