I stopped by this panda express because my aunt lives literally across the street from the plaza this place is in when I was craving some panda express. I got the bowl with chow mein and orange chicken. You dont get a lot of orange chicken like maybe 8 or 9 pieces so I shouldve probably gotten another entrée. My wife got the kids menu with fried rice and Kung pao chicken. We thought the food was okay, its a fast food place so you cant expect much in term of food quality. They have a decent lot for parking, when I got there ... it was before they got busy. We were in and out within like 5 minutes. The staff are very friendly and attentive to the guest.

I wish I could give no stars and also wish the cheapskate general manager would resign or get fired. EVERY TIME I go to this location, I am left feeling seriously unsatisfied and ripped off.Whoever is in charge is clearly a cheap LOSER who trains their staff to skimp out on customer portions and fill the bowl/plate up with as much cheap vegetables as possible.The servers can’t even look you in the eye as the sheepishly scoop piles of overpriced, lukewarm peasant vegetables into styrofoam containers.The food is never fresh, the meat is stringy and suspicious, the portions are abysmal, the quality is TRASH.I look forward to the day this nightmare of a dumpster fire goes out of business.This place is a joke. A ripoff. An extreme disappointment. Much like I imagine the owner is to their paternal figures.DISGRACEFUL.

Been at this Panda location many times and the food quality is ok at best. The fried rice can be a bit dry and chalky sometimes due to poor cooking procedures. The angus beef can also be very really tough and chewy if you end up with bad cuts of meat. I think the store manager can probably do something about the fried rice but Im guessing the meat quality needs to be fixed at the regional level. For the price you pay, Im thinking this is probably ok or expected. However, if someone from Panda Express corporate is reading this, they probably would disagree, and good for them.

Not sure about other locations of Panda Express, but at this one they have the process down to a science. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently the staff worked in concert to get us through the line in a speedy fashion. Something else I like is the option to round out your bill to donate to a charity. Rounding out your bill is easy, inexpensive, and brilliant. A good way to unobtrusively help a little, even if you are not wealthy. (I am definitely NOT) As for the food: Panda is one of those places where you know EXACTLY what to expect. It may not be authentically Asian, but it is swell comfort food. The Unsweetened Mango Passion Fruit Tea is the perfect complement to the food too. On a hot day, especially, it is nirvana for me. All in all, good fast food. Chef Ramsey and others may sneer, but it works for me. A little treat for my week and it doesnt break the bank. Wish I could say the same about what my car is eating when its hungry.

This place is good for fast Chinese food. The quality is good and they keep the place clean. Food tasted good overall and they give out a pretty good proportions of food. They dont pack the box but they do fill it up. Service was great. Everyone was nice and courteous. My only issue I realized when I was here is that the customer in front of me sneezed while standing couple feet from the food. She was wearing a facemask but doesnt mean droplets cant ever land on the food since its basically set up like a buffet line. Realization is that the food just sits there until a customer picks the wanted item. So, the food can sit there for awhile with a higher chance of having droplets fall on it when it settles down if a customer or employee sneezes. Droplets wont travel as far while wearing a face mask but will not contain all droplets completely from a powerfully loud sneeze. The sneeze guard is not sealed on bottom and in a 15 degree angle so doesnt cover the food from droplets or dust falling on top. Compared to a place where the food is prepared by order and packed inside a container as soon as its done. Therefore, if you must have fast Chinese food now then I would recommend this place but I would not go to any fast Chinese food places until the pandemic dies down and just order take-out from a Chinese restaurant.

This location seems to have better quality & taste food (at least the items I got) than at the 17th Street near Bristol in Santa Ana... I thought that one was rather greasy-like and lacked flavor.They were quite busy, but I think could have streamlined the order to checkout process a bit... I was worried some things would cool off too much, but it wasnt bad temperature when I quickly got out to the bus stop around the building from it. -I suppose it would be fine if you were inside the place to dine, but I needed to be sure I caught a bus that ended-up a bit late in getting there, so got to finish the whole meal, including the fortune cookie... Or maybe I should call it a suggestion cookie, as it wasnt a prediction at all, like most are.A little pricy, I think, compared to similar places, but they do seem to have good quality here.

And its not because the employees are incompetent. They really do try hard. The volume is just too high for the amount of workers they have at any given time. Quick service, freshly made food. Since the store is high volume, the food doesnt sit around getting old like many other locations. There are 4 locations closer to me, but I choose here every time! Even when theres a line, the line moves quicker than any other restaurant that I go to.

Also this is the fourth time visiting this location and they play the TV only to advertise Dish Network. No news, no sports, no music, no videos, nothing but instructions on how to use Dish.

I walked in Friday night 12/19 in the evening and had a bad experience the person helping me was jazmin. She was very rude. She had a bad attitude when taking my order. Nothing that panda represents. One hour ago (9/29/1020 at 11:35pm ), I stopped by the Panda Express on Chapman & Brookhurst ( Garden grove City ), i walked in, one Latina girl employee there yelled at me, “ you have to wait out side the door” ( because door was closed, I didn’t see inside & didn’t know you have wait for your call to get in), her tone of voice was so annoying, I about walked back out side, one old man walked in & she yelled at that man same as she told me, “you have to wait out side”, the old man said to me “ she told me like she tell her son, I am not here for free meal, I should go to another store” and he left.I decided to go to another store too, the new one on Beach & Garden Grove.I will never come back to this store again .

Horrible serving amounts for new sichuan hot chicken, the fried rice and chow mein noodles.now the reason it is a 👎🏼😠👎🏼 is that i had to wait for the hot chicken and the chowmein over 10 minutes. there were two other guys that didnt come together who also had to wait.while i was dining in a large group of about 7 middle aged customers and a young family of 3 i could not help to notice they all had to wait.Panda Express has always been a grab and go place. Rushed when ordering and if you take too long, they skip you. They were very rude. Also, just for steamed rice and chowmein, i had to pay the price of a big bowl. Prices are unfair because just for ordering small bowls, the price was of a larger one. Service is bad. I would rather go to Tomys Hamburgers, just across the street.

Had 3 hours to kill waiting to watch Avengers Endgame at Promenade Regal Theatres. Have always had quick and easy service from most PE stores. Ouch, and I am not kidding.My wife picked the Angus Beef while my son and I got the Teriyaki Chicken. After finishing about half of my meal I noticed that my wife was not eating her Angus Beef and I asked her if she did not like it. She responded saying, it does not taste good. So I tried some and indeed she was not kidding. I had to spit my bite out in a napkin because of the instant foul taste in my mouth. This Angus Beef they served was definitely spoiled. I immediately went to the front to notify the cooks.However they did not seem to care and only asked me repeatedly if I would liked to pick an other entree.My family and I are quite regular Panda Express people, NO LONGER SO! and not because we lost a plate of food to eat that night, but rather the lack of interest their staff showed in pulling the spoiled food out of the display.Sorry Panda but please train your cooks to be more knowledgeable about the expiration or food handling standards.Jon.
