Its kind of silly really how they place food into plates. Youd figure a double order would be placed in the plate and the different item in the separate container. Please dont do this again it makes no sense. I only come here because its the only known location that makes eggplant tofu

Ask for tester before coming to this location, bought my daughter a kids meal from here and the orange chicken was too spicy so they replaced it with teriyaki chicken that tasted even worst. The chicken was soggy/wet. This has been the weirdest experience and to make things even more bad the manager said there’s nothing she can do, no apologies. Bad customer service and food disappointed. Will not be returning to this location again

This Panda Express establishment is mediocre to put it best. The orange chicken was rubbery and soggy, and the chow mein was flavorless and lacked sauce. Maybe get some new cooks because these ones arent working. Try to gain some inspiration from the Solana Beach location which gets a 4.5 stars from me. Will likely not be back.

Just not that good. This is a small tucked away location. Chow mein and meat was very dry and barely any beef in the beef and broccoli. Only a few workers inside and there were barely any meats available and hot. I finished it but only because I felt bad wasting food.

Dont understand the point of ordering ahead if it still takes 15 mins+ after your scheduled pick up time. they received my online order at 11:53 (pick up time noon), didnt get my order until 12:15 with an incorrect item nonetheless

I had a very bad experience at this locationThe workers touch the food plate with dirty gloves that they had touched money with.When the plates fall on the ground, they pick up the same plate and fill it with food for the customers. Their chicken teriyaki is all burned as well.Very very bad experience at this location.

They got my order wrong and charged me for premium items without giving me any. I drove 30 minutes home and called just to hear that its not possible there was a mistake. I cant even eat what they gave me because of an allergy. Never coming back here.

Came in this evening to buy food (have been eating here since they were on the other side of the highlands) and was accused of STEALING by Fransisco the manager. He told me and my brother that we “took a soda” without paying for it on our last trip. As I recall, last time I was there, we waited 20 minutes for entrees that were old and near out during prime dinner time. The employee Alex, scooped the old chicken that was sitting in the container into my brothers meal even though we stood there waiting for 20 minutes. We called him on it and he grudgingly with an attitude and eye roll scooped the old food out and put the chicken we were waiting for in. Frustrated with the poor customer service and audacity to serve old food my recollection of the number of drinks purchased may have been incorrect. When we came home there was still old food in my brothers dish. Flash forward today the manager Fransisco has the audacity to not only accuse us of stealing but deny the previous episode with the old food and deny us service. He basically said Panda never serves old food its always fresh etc…. He then backtracked and said “if you didnt know you took it you could just tell me” even though from the MINUTE we walked in he was completely innapropriate and unprofessional. The way he spoke to a loyal customer of over a decade is absolutely innapropriate unprofessional and inexcusable. When I asked who the district manager is to call and speak about this, Fransisco said he doesnt know with a smirk. My brother asked the heavier set employee Alex what his name was (the one who served us old food weeks ago) and he laughed in my brothers face and shook his head (outside the store). Sylvia the manager also stood idly by as Fransisco incorrectly accused us and made a scene. My brother asked Sylvia for her card she refused to give it. To aggressively treat customers like this only shows how insecure these “employees” are, I do believe it was an ego trip on Fransiscos and Alex’s part. District manager: follow up with me if you would like.

Was from out of town. Husband went in to buy food and was skipped over several times for people who just walked in. Servers were extremely rude and kept telling him that they will help him later then greeting people who just entered. My husband couldnt order and walked out telling them they lost his business. Never experienced such poor customer service from a panda express before.

Gone downhill recently. Our family has always enjoyed this Panda Express. Their standard is consistent. But seems not anymore. Tonight the orange chicken was not crunchy. Instead it was so mushy my children refused to eat. Beef in Broccoli Beef was tough. Again it was refused. I ended up having to put them all in the trash. Also portion has gone smaller too. I wish they could improve soon. It used to be our favorite choice for a quick dinner.

The diverse menu options are wonderful and their new and improved dishes are delightful and scrumptious! Whether its a snack, lunch or a family feast, my family and I can always count on Panda Express on Del Mar Heights Rd to have fresh hot food and fast friendly and excellent customer service EVERY SINGLE TIME. Kristy is a phenomenal leader and manages her crew effectively and with fast precision. She is very attentive and friendly and quite knowledgeable. Can I do zero stars? Rice was hard and not cooked. The orange chicken tasted like very salty, burnt sugar. When I asked for it to be fixed... major looks and attitude. They dont care. Disgrace.

Out of the 1543 Panda Express near by, this is by far the best. Customer service is awesome, the staff are cheerful specially the cashier. The kitchen was super clean, everything is shining, the buffet glass was spotless, and most importantly the food was fresh! Awesome Job

Their fried rice is not fully cooked, its hard and inedible. I Requested a refund, Leslie the manager said that Panda Express as a company never gives refunds, only store credit and only at the location that I purchased my meal at. I do not plan on coming back to this location, so no, I do not want store credit.

Its just a Panda Express. Pretty good service and food is up to standard, I guess. Theyre generally pretty quick with orders and Ive never had any negative experiences with staff.If you get the teriyaki chicken make sure they put the sauce on as for some reason no sauce is default.

This is the best Panda Express there is. The people there are very friendly and the food always tastes the same, really good! I get a bunch, like 40 fortune cookies for my family to take home, they square me away with those. One if my favorite places to eat. There are some comfy couches right outside in the socal sunshine, or marine layer... It is San Diego after all. It, you can go over the IH5 bridge into Del Mar or La Jolla Beach and look at the ocean while you chow down. Doesnt get better than that!

I give 4 stars based on price and quality. The food quality is not equivalent to pricier restaurants to which Ive given 4 stars.As on reviewer said, it hard to beat for the price.I especially like the beef and broccoli (when its fresh) and honey walnut shrimp.

We had an awesome experience! We were rushing to catch a movie, but made it through the line in no time thanks to well-trained and incredibly friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and was not terribly packed, despite the busy time of visit. The food was hot and the service was great, so what more could you ask for?

Bad customer service! We were still eating when thwy told us they were closing in 10 min. Within those 10 min we wanted to use the restroom and they had locked it. I asked 2x if they could open, at least for my 5 children or my elderly mom and they said no. We payed for and was rejected a basic service.

Occasionally youll have to wait for a specific dish, but the service is excellent. The manager seems to be very attentive to both the staff and customer needs based upon a couple of interactions I saw her having with them a few times I was there. Definitely a nice family place to eat.

Favorite place for quick chinese food. My girlfriend and I didnt feel like ordering in from some of the pricey chinese restaurants around the area, so we came here since its right down the street from us. $20 got us way more food than we could eat 😂. Fantastic prices and great tasting too.

Honestly its just another Panda Express, which is exactly why Im giving it a 5 stars! Great food, great service, and an amazing building with a lot of room to eat and a bathroom. Heres a hint for those wanting a free drink: Go at night (8:30 ish) when they are going to close decently soon, and then order. They MIGHT (dont blame me if this doesnt work 😂) run out of a certain thing you want (say orange chicken), and make you wait a couple minutes while they get another batch ready. What not to love from Panda Express. The staff always helpful and the good Chinese food. The free refill machine and the fortune cockies.I highly recommend the plate half and half so they will give you half rice and half noodles.The epic chicken teriyaki is an instant classic and having it together with kung pao chicken.Prices are always reasonable.

Terrible service, very rude . Wouldn’t let me use my debt card because I didn’t have my Id. Scanned my moms three times and told her it didn’t go though, finally charged my card without ID .
