Changing 5 stars to 1 star because of the horrible experience I had with an employee named “rosavilla” I work in the area and I’m here almost 2-3 times a week, I get the same plate ch-mein with double orange chicken, I was there yesterday and realized that there was a fresh batch of orange chicken coming up so I requested some of the fresh chicken, “rosavilla” comes with an attitude rolls her eyes and says EVERYTHING IS FRESH here, grabbed the plate with an attitude and goes to change out 3 pieces of chicken and the rest were cold and soggy. This is unacceptable especially to a person that brings business here weekly, definitely won’t be coming back at this location again!!!

Fast casual Americanized Chinese food. My while family loves the orange chicken. The kids like the broccoli beef. Husband and older daughter like the honey walnut shrimp. I like the Beijing beef. None of us like the fried rice as it is not very flavorful. To keep the cost down, we get 3 three entree plates. Husband and I share one, the two boys share one, and the two girls share one.

Fast and efficient, this location has good turn over so everything I go in they are always bring out a fresh dish. This is an update from my post 2 years ago. Things have gone down hill at this location. I order online and I get skipped. The portions are notably smaller ordering online as opposed to in person. I ordered mixed greens but got mostly cabbage... with 1 piece of broccoli. Im discouraged at coming back to this location. Im going to try a different location next time and if I get similar results I will be sure to share with everyone. Ordering online gives you the worst of the food available see my picture as proof

FLY EGGS ON MY FOOD! I’ve eaten at this place plenty of times & each time it gets worse, today was my last time eating at the monument location specifically, i opened my honey walnut shrimp & a fly flew out of the container, upon further inspection i noticed one of the shrimp right on top had actual fly eggs on the shrimp. Maybe just a one time mishap, personally not worth the risk to me. Won’t be dining there again. Absolutely disgusting.

I bought the beef and broccoli bowl, when I got home I found out I waited long time and overpaid only for a tiny piece of beef ... I couldnt go back since I live far ... its a shame they do that when people order through the drive thru, since its hard to see what they putting on your plate, Definitely not coming back and I wish I could have read the reviews before ... This is the worst out of all the panda expresses I have ever been to. They give the smallest portions out of any Panda Express I have ever been to. And this time I got four pieces of orange chicken on top of a half filled bowl of fried rice. And this is not the only issue I have had here. Last time I came, I ordered orange chicken and fried rice and got a little bit of orange chicken, a little bit of fried rice, mixed in with a bunch of random stuff leftover probably from old food. Overall, horrible experience and would not recommend anyone going to this one. I have started driving an extra 10 minutes just to go to a panda express that actually gives good service

Overall it is just like any old panda express, a bit bigger than the ones Ive seen if anything. One thing though is that whenever I order the teriyaki chicken they never give me the teriyaki sauce, I always have to ask for it. Without the sauce teriyaki chicken is just regular chicken. Also they are a little stingy when it comes to the serving, especially with the expensive ones.

Rip off. I could get two bigger platters for the price they charged me. $24.47 Their platters as they call them are half the size they used to be. And extra is outrageously high. A couple miles away is China Wall. From now on I get Chinese, Im going to China Wall for, with tax $17.22, all you can eat. I eat 6 plates easily. Panda Express is a rip off. I read a lot of the reviews. A lot complain about portion sizes compared to other Panda Express. And you have more negative reviews than positive yet Google has you that high. Thats a lie.

Very good food in a clean restaurant. Good selection of items at very fair prices. I love the orange chicken and once or twice a year they haveSesame chicken which is a delight. I was one of the first patrons of the original Panda Inn in Pasadena, California. This is a gourmet fine dining restaurantthat spawned our Panda Express. As they said on TV to Mikey, “Try it; you’ll like it.”

Seems they changed the preparation of some of the staples. Chow mein tastes different so does the frider rice. I guess in an effort to keep the priced the same the containers are now much smaller. Make you think youre still getting as much whe youre getting much less.

Ordered on the app and food was ready just as I ordered it at exactly the time it was supposed to be. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law ordered inside the restaurant and were able to get their food quickly also. Everybody’s food was good. We ate outside on the little tables and appreciate the opportunity to be able to eat without being inside.

As good as all the other Panda Expresses Ive eaten at. The food was tasty and hot and the staff were friendly. The facilities couldve used some cleaning and supplies couldve been stocked. It truly wasnt very busy so, in my personal opinion, shouldve been attended to. Otherwise it wouldve been a five star rating.

I placed my order online for pick-up. With staffing shortages all over I find it the best way to not be waiting in the restaurant for a long time just to order food. However, this was not the best experience. The location is very understaffed. My order was completed 20 minutes past the pick up time. One order was missing half of the food ordered. My advice to management please get your people some help. It is not a good experience for the customers.

I came here today after work around like 2:30, the staff was nice well, They don’t say to much but ask what you want right? Well I ordered my food & when I got to the register the manger Caroline was there & when I paid for my food i walked off but they forgot to give me soy sauce so, I waited till she was done with the customer, she walks off when she see’s me coming back to ask for sauce, I just thought that was rude & I heard her asked the lady before me if they wanted to make at donation or offer them sauce & the couple that payed after me.

Great food BUT. I feel like the portion sizes are to small. I eat at Panda several times a month. I pay extra for Walnut shrimp and get 5 shrimp. I think 2 spoon fills is more appropriate. Also I am asked every time to donate or round up. Love charity but would like to know month & year to date how much is donated visible at register so it doesnt feel like a scam and not sure if money is actually getting donated. Thanks

Latest REVIEW: recently visited the store, I was glad to see that they actually acted in my previous comment and replaced thermocol food box with paper ones which is good for our health. Their food taste even much better now. Thank you Panda Express for taking the steps in positive direction. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Please it’s a request not to give food on thermocol food box... it’s not good for anyone and can cause cancer. Its super fast food. Oily, tasteless really. Was my first time. Was curious what this was. I has the Beijing Beef(no taste, its sugar coated) and the Broccoli Beef(mostly Broccoli, why bother including the beef, just serve Broccoli??. The beef you get has an uncomfortable slippery mushy texture likely from being soaked in cornstarch to plump the pieces up so you think you got meat lol. It makes chewing it a challenge as the meat just wants to slither down your throat.) I had a mix of friend rice amd chow mein. Rice lacked salt(ok since food has tons). Chow mein was hard texture like it had not yet cooked fully. Never again!Tummy hurt, bloating.

Have been a couple of times only at this location. On todays visit the counter person gave a lot more than usual portion of firecracker shrimp to the guest ahead of me as they chatted away in Spanish. This happens always. When it was my turn she just gave me the remainder 3 shrimps and some veggies. She didnt even offer me to wait while a fresh set would be made. Well, at this location, if you speak Spanish you get a larger portion and a big smile.

Its Panda. Its not authentic Chinese and youll be disappointed if you expect that, but I like it. The food at this location is exactly like it is at all of them, so you know what youre getting. It definitely gets crowded during lunch hours, so when I go I always make an effort to get there by 11 or wait until after 2. Ive never had any issues with service or long lines by avoiding peak hours.Four stars because the food is yummy, but theres nothing exceptional about this location that would warrant 5 stars.

I have been to Panda Several times and EVERY TIME HAD HORRIBLE SERVICE. It doesnt even seem to matter Which Panda Express that I have gone to. The most common issue is if Ive ordered 4 or 5 items, it NEVER fails that at least one item will not be ready. So then staff will put everything else packed to get cold while making me wait for the final one or two items. Sometimes the wait time has been over 20 minutes and by that time the rest of the order is ruined. The sad thing is that this seems to be common practice. BAD PANDA! - ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never eat at another Panda Express EVER. I recommend them to no one.

The place isnt bad itself but the staff is so lazy that it takes 20-30min to even get our food and the lines are long enough already and the staff spends so much time talking only with each other that you would think theyd be friendly with the costomers but it isnt like that I mean the staff should be fast in taking your order and friendly. And the portions of food seem small. Ive been to a better restaurant than this and the line would be all the way outside but they are so fast they will have you food ready in 10min or so .

Love Panda Express. Foods are fresh and delicious. This place is very busy as it is conveniently located at Monument Blvd, pleasant Hill, nearer for local Concord and Walnut Creek residents. Outside and inside sitting available. Its in the Cross Road shopping center, so lot of parking spaces if you dont find right infront of the restaurant. I went to this place on Sunday February 14 and I bought two plates theyre almost empty you guys want to sell empty plate? Just put it on your menu to make it clear. If you ask for rice its only one spoon half full I heard most of the costumer saying can you add a little bit more thats one thing and the second thing Ms ANWAR you should wear GLOVES when you touch food not having a pen on your hand thats a cross-contamination. Wow I love Panda Express but that was a great disappointment. We received from their shrimp dish a spoonful of potatoes and two shrimp for two people. Food was very Bland. No taste at all to the Mongolian beef which is always my favorite. I would not recommend Panda Express on Monument Boulevard in the Kohls shopping center. Sorry we were hungry but we are very disappointed.

1/25/18Before taking my boyfriends sons back to the mothers house a couple weeks ago, we stopped here and I had my first ever Panda Express experience. Yep, Id never eaten at one before then!The boys ordered first to give me an idea of how it works. When it was my turn, I had a 3 item plate with vegetables, rices, kung pao chicken and orange chicken and shrimp. We also ordered spring rolls and a side of teriyaki chicken. Dinner for the 3 of us (with a soda $1.70 and a Sobe drink $4.40) came out to just over $40. Not too bad for as much food as we received. And it was really good!!Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our meal at a table outside.

I dont know if theres a shift change but service before five pm is horrible, I ordered online and when I got there they told me that there was no record of my order,when I show them the order on my phone it just happened that they over looked my order I was frustrated,they never apologized or nothing they told me that I could cancel the order if I wanted to,they need more people like the shift around six pm and on.
