The one girl that took my order didnt seem happy as if she did not like her job. And she messed up the order a little. No biggie the other happy workers fixed my order. Nice place nice area. Food was decent for the price. The dish with those red peppers in it there were so many of them and it was so spicy. I picked out around 10 of those peppers. Thats a bit much. Other than that the food was good. Loved it all prices were decent

Each time I visit the Sonora, CA Panda Express on Sanguinetti Rd, Im met with a smile and today was no different. I ordered online, which I recommend, since the line can be long. My food was ready within 15 minutes of me ordering (varies by demand). The packages were stuffed full, everything was fresh and ready and the restaurant was clean. Definitely visit if youre looking for a quick bite of Panda Express!

Got there around 3pm. There was 2 people ahead of us, the dining area and tables were clean. The first guy that was taking our order was friendly and on top of things. Then one of the ladies informed us that the broccoli beef was still cooking and had about 5 more minutes. We decided to wait. We paid, got our food and took it home. We were quite surprised that for the broccoli beef being freshly cooked it tasted really gross. All of our other food was ok. But service was good.

It was kinda busy, maybe 4 or so small groups. Our online order we put in 30 minutes ahead of time, ended up getting to us 30 minutes after the promised time. They also got our order wrong multiple times. I opened a box to check because they gave us half and told us the rest was coming. Just didnt seem right so I looked, and it was someone elses order. I brought it to the counter, opened the other box to show they were both wrong and this was not my order. They ended up rebagging those boxes and giving them to someone else right as we finally were getting to leave. They ended up getting our order right in the long run. Which was just fine, my fried rice was pretty lumped together, and our rangoons were on the verge of being undercooked. But it was all just a slow and messy process. Lady working up front was nice enough but clearly annoyed by all the confusion. It was a Saturday night at about 7:30 buuut.

So panda express is a franchise and you can expect to taste the same pretty much everywhere barring catastrophic circumstances.What makes this panda express 1* is I couldnt order a pick up order from online since the website said the location is not accepting online orders. I tend to avoid public places and interactions with people for reasons that should be pretty obvious by now to the whole world. Haters, thieves, low lives etc...So I go to the store and they have a surplus of everything. Not sure why the online order was suppressed.I start ordering and the staff although were friendly hurried me with every single order. Except for one man who had the best spirit I have seen in popular franchises who offered me fresh chowmein.So true story. I am very hot. Women cannot handle me. The hostess wanted to ring me up without asking me what my order was. She got the order wrong eventually. I felt so hurried and couldnt verify the order. Eventually she wouldnt give me cookies, Napkins, sauce, nothing... that makes panda express a delightful experience . It felt like kids who dont know what customer service is and just want to get through the day and probably didnt want to be there. This was on May 25th 2022 around 4pm.Panda express should have a standard. If not, there is always plenty of options.

They were out of everything because they always try to close early, they argued with me because I didnt want them to start boxing up my order so it would sit there for 15 minutes while they cooked the rest of it. They continuously pushed me to let them start boxing up my order even though I said no FOUR TIMES until I finally just walked out. No one was in line behind me. This was my 1st visit to this location but not to the chain. I attempted to order online to pick up but 50% of the menu was left off in the app so I ordered at the counter. 5 employees moving and speaking with purpose as a true team. They were impressive and well trained. A Tuesday lunch crowd with 6 in line steadily. Items were running out as fresh cooked was ready to replace it in the table. Everything I ordered was mid refill so I had all completely fresh. My family loved everything. The honey walnut shrimp had a pleasant lemon flavor which was very different. This is something we order every time so the change was highly noticeable to us and well enjoyed. The teriyaki chicken thighs had alot of fat but were delicious and seasoned perfectly. The chow mein had less cabbage than other locations. The crab Rangoon and spring rolls were perfectly golden.

Omgosh, I went to Panda Express today. I ordered 6 large container order. First off staff are pleasant yet under stress. They werent the issues. The food however was. Chicken n string beans... Beans were barely cooked, they tasted like they were not even cleaned. And onions galore?? The Chicken and mushrooms zucchini . No flavor nothing like in the past and Onions again to many. The fire chicken was good but again why all the onions. I had to literally pull out all the tremendous amounts of onion slices. Nothing had the wonderful flavors of the past and what I love it seems they substituted onions n more onions??? The teriyaki chicken I ordered and asked to make sure was breast meat.... Well all dark meat??? The taste of vegetables have that No Wash taste and then Under cooked, Ugh,. No taste and worst no flavor... Thats a 0. So until you all get back to good Panda Express food I will never return. I usually never complain and dont go to remarks. But I feel you should All be aware. I just wanted to bring home to my family a good Panda meal. Even my grandchildren said they didnt like the veggie taste. I hope you at Panda Express fix this. Oh last I always check my order when large. Well the young lady was rushing me while I made sure order was correct. I said please let me look here at food. Guess what? The man before me took home this mans order. Guess he wasnt happy when he got home with this other mans Shrimp and walnut. Yeah Panda Im really disappointed. Bring back the flavors, the healthy washed and cooked veggies, the chicken white meat that is requested and last, Stop substiting onions for ingredients that shouldnt be in normal orders okay. At 7pm I arrived at Panda Express to place an order for dinner. As I approached the entrance I see a hand written notice stating the facility was closed at 7pm due to a shortage of workers. I saw one of the workers sitting out front in her car. Four other employees sitting at tables talking and then laughed when I reached for the locked door. There was still food prepared, still in the service trays. As I sat in my car writing this review five additional customers went to the door and also found Panda Express closed.Apparently there is no qualified individual making solid decisions or managing this establishment. How much do these five employees make to sit on their duff? Yeah lets blame Covid for the lack of qualified help.

Love the food and the employees are awesome.That was my original review from 5 years ago... Since then, this location has gone way downhill. My daughter ordered herself dinner one night and the food made her sick, that is, what they had that she ordered. Today, my husband and I drive up and doors were locked almost an hour before closing. A man drove up right before we did and couldnt open the door (there was a sign on the door saying somrthing along the lines of pull hard to open door). This isnt the only time weve tried getting food and theyve closed early. Idk who is in charge of this location but something needs to change if theyre going to stay in business. I went in there one day to a line the length if the store. All waiting for food to be refilled. I was able to run ahead and go through quickly but thats simply because I didnt want to wait and therefore chose from the limited selection offered to me. Which was far from satisfying or fresh. Something you wouldnt think to be a problem since they clearly were going through it fast enough. Probably just a result of sitting in the heated buffet swimming in juices sweated out from the hot bulbs and burners. And youd also think that the employees wouldnt be so rude....not the case. They rush you through barely giving you time to decide what youd like, they make no suggestions as to what is going on spread out before you under that sneeze guard. And if you dont speak up you are barked at to speak louder as they sloppily toss food on top of other food inside your box or bowl or whatever. May as well all be a bowl how they present it to ya. Pre pandemic, this location always struggled with good service due to the lack of adequate staffing. Fast forward to today and its so inconsistent, this location has been eliminated from our restaurants we frequent. Rarely have what’s left actually on their menu (brown rice maybe 1 in 5 visits). Food is usually old/soggy, couple that with about 1/2 the staff being unpleasant like they hate their jobs and literally yelling at you to put your mask on as you’re putting it on walking through the door. If I could leave 0 stars I would.I ordered from DoorDash and when my food arrived it was COLD. Not just a little cold, even the ice was melted in the drink. Not to mention the wrong order.I called the store and spoke to the manager and apparently the food I got was made at 1pm according to the receipt. It’s currently 8pm. It’s been sitting on a shelf to get picked up for 7 hours(no heater).I asked if I could get fresh food and the answer was no, I tried to figure out what went wrong and after a few min of talking to the manager she hung up on me.You’re better off going somewhere else because they clearly don’t care what they feed anyone. They left my food in a box while they waited for more Broccoli Beef to be made. They said it would be 5 minutes. So we paid and sat down. After waiting 12 minutes I asked about our food. The cook had not even started cooking it yet! and the other food was getting cold. The manager asked if there was something else instead of waiting and we said yes... but Im not paying for that part. And he said he couldnt do that. We would be charged for yet another entree! We cancelled our order and got a refund. That is poor customer service... and sadly, not the first time this has happened! Employees were being treated terrible by the customers and they still kept their heads up and served everyone quickly and professionally. Example, I need your mask on, in very rude tone to all customers.Also customers walking into doors didnt know that panda express had changed to online ordering and staff were using rude tone and not making eye contact. On our latest visit we ordered on the app to save $3 per person. The app kept crashing and we ended up with the wrong order. I spoke with the senior associate. She understood what happened but said that she could only help partially. She said that the manager would have to fix the rest of it. Apparently, the manager didnt think that we deserved the discount. So, she denied it. We will deny eating there. We have plenty of Chinese restaurants here. We dont have to eat here and we wont. I was so excited to get Panda because we havent had it since we moved here 4 months ago. We use to get it weekly in the bay area and it was always fresh and good. I was so disappointed when I bought our dinner, took it home and found it horrible. The fried rice was so bland, the beijing beef was overly cooked and couldnt bite into it, the walnut shrimp was a bad cook, and the orange chicken was tough to chew, not as bad as the beijing beef but close. I think the oil theyre using is bad, they should change it. I used to really like Panda but not the Panda in Sonora.

By far the busiest Chinese food place in town. Always fun, and well priced. Generally very clean and friendly staff and restaurant. Located next to lots of major stores and outlets.
