Not a bad Panda location. We came in today, Saturday around 1:30 pm. It wasn’t too busy, people come and go. We decided to dine-in.Parking can be a little hectic, there are right on one of the entrance to a shopping plaza, and traffic in that area can get real busy.You can eat inside, and also there a few tables and chairs outside, 2 at the front, and 2 more at the back.Staff was ok, could be a bit more friendly, but no, they were not rude. It just didn’t seemed too welcoming. The ladies serving our food were pretty quick.Also, the amount of food was good, no complaints there. At least they were more than enough for us to even take some some leftovers. Food was good, it was flavorful, nothing crazy, but the food was good for a Panda Express.Overall, not a bad place to stop by and get some quick food!

Panda Express! One of my favorite places to eat on occasion. What else is there to say about this locale? Its the same great taste you know & come to expect from Panda. I would add that the customer service here was excellent & made me feel welcome. Would definitely return if I was in the area.

Last time I went I asked for a sample of their new chili shrimp. I was told they no longer offer samples.This is a buffet style eatery mind you. And buffet style eateries can be questionable with food and often offer samples as requested which I have even seen panda express do in the past on multiple occasions with other patrons.In that moment my desire for the new product vanished and I returned to the same two items Ive been getting for years.On my way home I decided next time I go there Ill try again for the sample. If refused, Ill order only that. Then inform the cashier that since I was unable to try it that I am uncomfortable paying for it and then going to eat somewhere I can trust.Even the ice cream shop gives samples. Also served buffet style.

It’s 9:12 I just walked out of Panda Express with my order. The lady with the black long sleeve jacket. Didn’t even hand me my order just walked away was very rude. I’m the nicest guy for someone to take out their problems on me is not ok. If you don’t like your job lady go get another. Don’t take it out on random strangers.

I did an online order to be picked up at 6pm. My order was not ready but meanwhile at least five customers that were walk-ins were in and out of there with their food in the 15 minutes I stood there and waited. I did the online order to save time and saved anything but. No apologies or courtesy beverage or anything.

I dont know what it is about this place. It smells good taste great but feels horrible coming out. And for some reason I cant stop. My chicken egg rolls either were not cooked all the way through or had been sitting out and were just soggy. The staff is friendly and nice to places clean didnt have a chance to go to the bathroom. So I cant say anything about that. Overall the experience was good except for the fact that I had to drinking some pepto to ease my upset stomach

Upon entering the store there were several employees scrubbing and cleaning. Everyone continued with their tasks, ignoring my presence. Finally after several minutes someone asked for my order and began to fill it, when they stopped and began dealing with a different person (order).Certainly not the way things should have happened.Itll be a while before I go back again.

Crowded at times but line moves fast. Lots of employees here to help you along. Good seating inside and out. Place is well kept and clean. Sometimes you have to ask for the fortune cookies but not a big deal. Smiles all around here and the food seems to be always fresh.

It was a very good experience with a helpful staff. The location was participating in a school fundraiser which was great. My only concern was that while the receipt was correct the items in the bag were not. It was highly enjoyable for takeout and worth supporting local schools. With their abbreviations on take out containers it isnt easy to check the items. Maybe orders that are not in front of customers install a printer to that you can verify items to orders and mitigate wrong orders? Just a recommendation.

This Panda Express location is a joke. Staff members are rude, especially the cashier. I got two plates tonight(about 15 minutes ago) one with double double Angus steak and the other one half honey walnut and half Angus steak. On the latter, I noticed that the guy doing the plates put 95% Veggies and 5% Steak, so wanted to make sure what I saw was right. When I opened the plate to see if I saw the portion and the ratio correctly, I realized I was right, it was All vegetables and a couple steak pieces So I ask the cashier if I could get at least a couple more pieces, she rudely says if you need more, I can give it to you on side and you have to pay for it. Seriously?As you might be aware, they charge more for Angus already, but instead they decide to give you veggies. Its totally understandable that you are not just getting the steak as it comes with the veggies but charging you more already and give %95 of veggies is a big scam which is exactly a case in point at this place.With that being said, this place has to train their staff to be nice and polite.If you go to this place, let the cashier know that you will pay for it upfront so you wont be offended.

Portion size was very good I got the large plate for just a little over $10. This was three servings of orange chicken and one side dish which I chose as rice. It was very good. You cant eat inside but there is a table outside that you can sit and eat at.

We walked in right before closing. The server was very nice and accommodating. Since it was closing time she gave us more food than we ordered to avoid wastage. Not sure if she was the manager but was very nice. If I lived in this city I would go there regularly. Awesome customer service.

The fact of the matter is that here in SoCal, Panda is as good or better than most sit-down Chinese restaurants. There are those few spots that are exception, like in downtown LA Chinatown, but otherwise Panda is very good, consistent, and inexpensive.

Phenomenal experience with Chris at location in el toro he went up and beyond and made sureMy order was correct and right! It is a balance between fast food and dining. I give five stars because of the service and how well they protect the customers during the pandemic probably the most conscientious of any place to eat at. The food is always be fresh my family loves the food couldnt get any better quality that I am aware of. I m on a strict wating regimen so I didnt order but I wish I could have my grandchildren and daughter did I just drove went inside to torment my desire t I want to just engulf the orange chicken and beef and brocolli but doctors orders. A nice location along El Toro road in Lake Forest. The service is fast and friendly. We go there for the spicy Eggplant and Tofu entree that is mouth watering. A very busy location during typical lunch and dinner times. Very happy with the quality, service and staff at this location.

Im giving this location a 1 star because I will not be returning to this particular store again.The food and service is not an issue, the problem is that every time I go into this store, the entree(s) I always order (black pepper chicken) is never made, nor is it in the process of being made. Tonight was the 4th and final time.For some reason this store waits for people to order certain entrees before making them. The last time I went there I waited in line and saw that they had a clean empty dish where the food should have been, I asked how long until it was ready and the girl told me she could have them start making it. I was a little irritated, but I said go ahead and waited. I saw that the other entree I was planning on ordering was already made so I didnt think anything about it. About 10 mins later she tells me that the black pepper is ready, I go to place my order and the other entree I want has a clean empty dish. I ask about that one and she says she can have them start making it. They didnt call out to have more made when it was running low, they just served the last portion and that was that.Keep in mind that the store is packed at this moment, at least 7 people in line and a full dining area. They dont do this on everything, just certain items, which I must assume means the employees are being instructed to do this...I dont understand the logic, but someone running that store seems to think this is a good idea.If you are that person and are reading this review, please understand that your good idea has cost you at least 1 customer. I will spend the extra time I normally have to spend waiting for you to make the food on your menu heading over to another location that doesnt follow this asinine thought process

Ordered delivery. Uber eats, delayed...switched drivers 3 times. Ultimately either an uber driver took my food, Panda gave to someone else - they said someone picked up, or it was never prepared. Bottomline I never received the food. And there was absolutely no communication! Pathetic! Uber and Panda you share responsibility!

Great Chinese cuisine with healthy options, fast service, friendly employees, and consistent service. Clean dining area and restrooms. If you come later in the evening and they dont have something you want, they will happily make it for you in about 5 - 10 mins. Using a Panda Express Online website, I ordered dinner that I would pick up. I received a text that it would be ready in five minutes and another text saying it was ready for pickup (as I was driving to the restaurant on El Toro Rd). When I arrived, the staff had no knowledge about my order. Nobody recognized my name as having just called in an order even though my credit card had already been charged. I left the restaurant without the dinner. When I called back and asked that the charge to my card be cancelled, Julio told me that I would have to take care of it. Triple Negative stars!

This is a highly popular Asian fast food chain. As such, it is often crowded, and at common mealtimes (lunchtime and dinner time), you may be asked to stand in line outside. Customers are allowed inside one-at-a-time as other customers leave out the back door. If two people are together, you may be allowed to enter together. Once you are inside, you will see that the restaurant is set up semi-buffet style. But you do not serve yourself; instead, you tell the person behind the counter what you want, and they serve your side dish(es) into a Styrofoam container, then pass it to the next server, and so on. Your choices of entrees has been noted on the container. They have a standard variety of Asian foods such as fried and white rice, chow mein, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, beef broccoli, and several others. I must NOTE at this point--if you dont ASK for condiments, such as soy or teriyaki sauce, hot sauce, etc., you will not get them. I am increasingly finding this to be a standard practice at most fast food restaurants. I am disappointed about this. To me, fast food is all about convenience, and thats why people are willing to pay more for fast food than they pay for home-cooked food. To me it is THEIR job to make sure you have everything you need. YOU should NOT have to REMEMBER to ASK for such normal items as soy sauce, napkins, etc. (By the way, we did get one fork for each meal, with one napkin wrapped together with it, in a sanitary plastic wrapper. But we were not asked if we needed extra napkins.) If I could, I would take away 1/2 star for this oversight on their part. But the food is good, the service is okay, and the prices are okay. Drinks are not included in the combos, so this is an added expense, if you want them. You tell them what drinks you want, and they will serve them up and make them available just before you exit. The line proceeds in the front door, and out the back. One oddity I have noticed that is unique to Panda Express: the meals are described backward to my way of thinking. The most popular combo includes two entrees and one side dish. (HUH??) I cant help thinking it ought to be the other way around. I get around this anomaly by ordering half-and-half: half fried rice and half chow mein. As long as Im talking about side dishes, I might as well mention the fried rice at Panda Express tends to be on the dry-ish side. If youre like me, youre going to want to ask for lots of extra soy sauce. All-in-all, I would rate this place 4-1/2 stars. I did not want to downrate them a whole star for minor issues, so I gave them 5 stars.

Panda Express botched their T-Mobile Tuesday promotion a couple weeks ago, preventing me from using the discount for my meal. This week, their staff couldnt get my order right after three attempts-- is a bowl, half chow mein and half vegetables really so difficult?I was frustrated enough, after waiting on line for ten minutes, to walk away from a free meal. Hit and miss on portions and cleanliness. Tonight I apparently drew the short straw and received a very skimpy portion. When I suggested as much to the server, he was disagreeable.Tonight I got the sweetfire chicken breast which a more reliable quality than the house orange chicken. But seriously I received only a few pieces of chicken and piles of onions which was way out of balance wih the normal composition of this dish.The tables were all dirty tonight, but eventually one of the workers made their way out to the dining room to clean up.I also got a portion of rangoons which are very tasty. I like them a lot and its impossible for them to cheat on the portioning since an order is a three count.The choice of beverages includes Sobee Yumberry which is a great alternative.Rating is two stars. Minus one for skimpy portions, minus another star for arguing about it, and minus another for dirty tables.

If youve never gone to Panda Express, this is your typical inexpensive Americanized Chinese food. They do try to introduce a number of less typical options, though I typically just go with the teriyaki chicken (which is surprisingly good and not breaded or cloaked in sauce like many of the other options). The staff is always nice and helpful and you can sample the entrees to help you decide. The only negative is that during peak time they will sometimes run out of an option temporarily, there will be only a 5 minute wait to get that item, but if you are in a huge hurry be aware of that.

I LOVE Panda Express, but unfortunately, this location (on El Toro in Lake Forest) was sub-par. The chow mein was dry, the fire roasted chicken was entirely too sweet, the cream cheese rangoon and egg rolls were overcooked, and there was no sauce on the teriyaki chicken. There were also several empty entrees - the wait for them was 5-10 minutes. (The orange chicken was delicious.)

El Toro Used to be Rock Star location. If you order 1/2 veggies and 1/2 chow mein you get less chow mein than if you ordered all chow mein. Price went up recently and I guess they do that to get higher donations?
