The food never looses its awesome taste! The only sad thing is that sometimes you get a decent portion and other times, depending on who serves you, you get 4 pieces of orange chicken... since a meal is now about 15 dollars, youd expect a good serving! They need to improve on that!!!

Weve been ordering from this location since it opened and they had always been very generous with their portions, but the last two times have been disappointing. The broccoli beef hardly had any beef and the bowl had way too much quinoa, leaving not much room for the Kung Pao chicken. I left a couple of stars because their customer service is great and they had my order in a reasonable time.

I walked in to Panda and the line was a mile long and the customers were being served at a snails pace. So I looked out of the window and saw a place called the Thai House about 100 feet away. I decided to give it a try and the food was amazing. I got the panang chicken and it was so plentiful, I took a good portion of it home. The extra $ 10 I spent at the Thai House was worth it.

Great place to eat. Its location is right next to East Los Angeles College, so really close by for students to stop by and get some food. Store has a large seating area and has 3 televisions in the back for those who feel like watching something while eating. Staff is great and helpful. Lots of choices on which sides you can want and they have the option to taste a sample if you want to know how it tastes before getting.

Food is always good. Place is always clean. Came today and I know it was busy but it looked like one of the managers was helping cook in the back. Her and another girl had No gloves. The manager had no hair net even thought her hair was short above her shoulders she could have a hair net at least. One thing I hate is to find hair in my food anywhere!!!! Otherwise good restaurant never had issues but please wear gloves at least.

I usually order online and pick up my food at this Panda Express location. Their food qualify is consistent thats why I always come back to this one. I can always find parking around their restaurant so it is very convenient. It is a fast food/self served type of restaurant, but I find their staff are helpful.

They have an organized system of serving people. Employees have assigned stations to make your order more fast and efficiently. We ordered for 5 people and were in and out in approximately 10-12 minutes reason being we had to wait in line. I did notice all the employees wore gloves and masks. The sit down portion of the restaurant was clean with very few patrons eating in. I would suggest trying their lemonade since is fresh squeezed and made in house.

This place has been followed by many beggars that stay next to you while you are in line asking for money. I had two bad experiences one with a lady asking for 2 dollars! Then she grab the leftovers of a customer and seated next to the line to keep asking for more money . The second one was a homeless man that grab a plate from the trash and took a nap . I was next to him and the odor was disgusting! I couldn’t eat there anymore and called the manager. He told me that the homeless has the right to be there because he had a plate and therefore he was a customer ! BAD MANAGEMENT!!

Great service each and every time, even when I have phoned in. I order often through delivery service and they take care of my orders very well. Food isn’t stale. It is constantly moving. The team is always friendly and ready to help. Even if there is a complaint, they take it well and help resolve it immediately. Really a fantastic team! One of the girls serving was talking to her friends behind the kitchen while trying to serve me and had one of those knowitall tones and conceited. She messed up my order and she just passed my plate down in a hurry without seeing her mistake. unprofessional. The other girl serving was good enough to notice the other dumbo messed up and she fixed it without a fuss so props to her for doing a good job while the other one will probably mess up more orders in the future so good luck to anyone else that goes here.

Dont order from here for Uber Eats or for pickup. My last uber order I ordered 4 plates and 1 large order or spring rolls, well they only gave the driver 2 plates and its not the first time it happens. Twice I have ordered for pickup and my order was not ready they claimed they never received but my card was charged both times. Stay away from this place go to another location, the one on Soto is much better.

Ordered online. When i got there there was a lady inside waiting for a while so i finally go in and immediately i was told to wait outside 1 at a time inside. I saw multiple bags of food just sitting there but I went out anyway. There was a line by that time so I stood in line. The lady inside finally got her food and left. I was about the recommend it because of the good food selection and remodeled environment. But I had terrible service from a juice bar employee who took 20 mins to make a simple hot green tea. I went up twice to request an update as seeing how I had already finished my meal on my second request.The woman had the nerve to tell me she had called out my name multiple times and said she wasnt sure I had requested to take sugar with my tea. You have to ask them to actually fill the plate with a full portion because the girl in the black shirt serving, actually counts the grains of rice and the strands of noodles she serves you, like shes paying the cost of the food out of her own pocket. Ridiculous. This is the same at ALL the Panda Expresses. People at corporate are probably happy to see this comment but this is the reason why I rarely eat here. I only eat here with other people but never on my own because theyre so cheap with portions. Something better change if you expect to compete with other fast food choices.

Panda Express in Monterey Park is a great place, its very clean, it has a friendly staff, and they are very amicable. The tea station is also a nice feature when compared to the regular pandas, its inviting and well designed. There are 3 televisions off to the side of you want to watch, and best of all the closed captions are on so that you can read what they are talking about! Usually when a TV has no volume and youre trying to follow what they say, its horrible! Anyhow, just wanted to throw that in. Great experience over all, come on by and take a look...

Update: Service is more inconsistent than before, but still a great spot!As one of the newer locations in SoCal, this Panda Express is also a concept restaurant (as visible in the availability of salads, wraps, and the presence of a Panda Tea Bar). Friendly staff run the place smoothly, and are generally good about serving decent portion sizes (with a few exceptions). The drink machine is cool with its customization options. Ample seating with modern atmosphere and good playlist of music in the background. One of the BEST in town. :)

It was not a good experience, the food was terrible tasting and smelled like vinegar. Also when we went to pay there were several groups of customers that were trying to use some kind of TMobile coupon and the workers were very rude to them and they would not let them. But for me the biggest problem was the quality of the food. It tasted terrible and stunk like vinegar, i will never return to this location again. Avoid this location and go to one of the many other ones around that are much better.

Dont come here if youre hungry and desire the honey walnut shrimp. Portions were tiny and overall, this is not a cheap place to eat.I went in shortly after opening. I use to go to the Panda Express in Bellflower on a regular basis. Servers were nice and portions were good. The same can be said for the Panda in So El Monte. Same good level of service. You would be greeted and served adequate-sized portions. Fast forward to today, I expected the same a this location in Monterey Park. Not quite. The server, a youthful rather stoic female, was dry and not the tiniest bit friendly. I wanted two servings of honey walnut shrimp. There appeared to be less than two servings left in the pan. Well guess what. By the time she served it, there was still quite a bit left in the pan. I was like wow. There is an upcharge for this item, and then she scooped out about a third scoop for each portion. These were some of the tiniest portions of any Panda Ive ever visited. Then to top it off, she asked if I wanted to donate money when she began to ring me up. Not wanting to appear to a cheapskate, I agreed to the donation. In thinking afterwards, I shouldve replied an immediate no. Ill go that route next time. Im all for giving to charity, but not when Ive been shortchanged and given puny portions on an upcharged item.Anyway, I will try this place out again and see if things are better. If not, I wont visit again.

I like the food options for a quick bite. Healthy never. Try to avoid peak hours because they always have long lines.(lunch and evening). This is a busy shopping center so be ready to spend at least 20 minutes form getting a parking space(parking lot always packed) to ordering your food.

You guys should have the tofu entree available. Some people doesn’t eat meat. If you’re vegetarian the only thing that you’re going to be able to substitute for meat at Panda Express is the tofu. But since the pandemic started it, it’s not available. 😒
