Great place to stop and eat that is only a few minutes off of I-10! We love to eat at Panera and this location did not disappoint. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. They have gluten free options available as well. We had the Mac and cheese, chicken and wild rice soup, pepperoni flatbread and Asian sesame salad - and they were all fantastic. Highly recommend.

Worst. Panera. Ever.I have never had a positive experience at this store. I routinely order delivery and things are wrong or unavailable. I know their delivery is third party but i order through their app and there are always missing drinks or items. Wait times even on pre-orders are atrocious. Lasting time I ordered I was double charged for a sip club membership and I was given a $20 promo by support. Today my wife and I go for lunch and we waited half an hour to receive a rotten apple. See pic. Just go somewhere else. There are plenty of overpriced fast casual chains in the area.

We went to Panera for lunch yesterday. There was an issue while we were there so my husband went to show the manager. We knew he was the manager because he was walking around making sure the guests had what they needed. Tony came over to apologize personally, he was super super nice and very understanding of the issue. He went above and beyond! We will be back and tell all of our friends to make sure they stop by and visit the new location. Food was great! We ordered the family deal, never looked into it before, glad we did! It was perfection. Great job to Tony and his crew!

Good for brunch with friend, this is my first time to dine for brunch.There is no server just order over the counter and own ur own.I think its ok I guess for brunch. Its a good deal. The chicken sandwich with avocado is delectable but quite spicy for me. Because I am zero spice. However still good. Thanks for your service really appreciated.

We placed an order for pickup and half the items were missing. The other half were incorrect. My sister has an avocado allergy and they left the avocado in! Its a good thing we checked, or else we wouldve had a serious predicament.After realizing their mistakes we called 6 TIMES and on the 6th call someone finally picked up. The person was rude, purposefully using the wrong pronouns and didnt inform the other workers that we were coming in to pick up the missing items.When we arrived, the other staff members were dismissive and shrugged when we mentioned the phone call. They argued with each other about who was to blame, and didnt seem apologetic about the effort we went through to go back and pick up the food. We got the food eventually, but we went through so many hoops!Its disappointing and not the first time weve had issues with this new panera location. 😕

I have not eaten in a Panera in a dozen years so I thought I would grab a quick lunch. I was going to have a half sandwich and half soup order but wasn’t impressed with the choices. Instead I went for the premium roast beef sandwich with melted white cheddar. I didn’t give them any special instructions and I was apprehensive that it would need some thing in the way of accoutrements. From the first bite to the last the sandwich was perfect. The roast beef was tender the amount of horseradish sauce was just right in the bread was delightful Dash crunchy but not too hard. I might not wait another 10 years for the next time I visit.

This particular Panera’s lacks the quiet coffee time atmosphere like the others. It resembles a cafeteria with bright lighting and no carpet or dividers to muffle the sound. The music is generally too loud for conversations. It’s disappointing.

Previous location was nice and cool, with plenty of space and nice little cozy corners. Used to go there and have lunch with a friend after our weekly groceries. It was a nice place to sit down, relax, cool down, and enjoy a meal.The new location just doesnt provide the inviting atmosphere for dining in. Indoor space is greatly reduced. The dining area is cramped and cant walk freely in between tables.Yes, it is brighter, but because there is so much sunlight coming through the windows, its not really as cool inside even with AC. For a location that has warm weather for most of the year, it is very inconvenient. The outdoor patio really doesnt provide enough shade to eat outside either.The day I went to try the new location, the drink area had spills on the floor, and the rug was wet. I cannot say it was urine, but it sure smelled like it. Thankfully, the quality of food remained intact.I used to look forward to having lunch at Panera, but now I am sad to say I dont see myself dining there in the future anymore. I believe my local Panera compromised way too much for a drive-thru.

We love everything about the new location except the lighting. The lights are directed at an angle and they shine in our faces. We changed tables a few times trying to find a comfortable spot.

This one is much better than most. Shout out to Tony, very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the tables arent clean. We had to clean ours to sit down, and it was obvious that no one had cleaned deep in the booths any time recently. Also a little more QC for what gors into a salad.....

I’m in shock right now! So we decided to try this new location since they have a drive-thru we get there around 7:15pm on Sunday 8/12 and there’s no cars at all. We asked the girl for a few mins. finally decided after an good 2-3 mins and we started to order two broccoli cheddar soup with bread cause they runout of the sourdough bread bowls, we also order one chicken ceaser salad that completed our order. The girl asked if that all, we said yes, then the girl told us, your order will take about 30 mins!!!! I said EXCUSE ME???? Are we NOT in the drive -thru? I understand a few minutes but literally 30 mins she told me. I also asked her seriously 30 mins Im only ordering two soups and one salad. The girl also had enough time to let me know the looong wait instead she waisted my time. So embarrassing and I think the wait it’s unacceptable.

Went through the new drive thru and was asked to park up front because they had finished another order before ours, which is fine. Makes no sense to hold up everyone. What was not acceptable was waiting from 4:11 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. After watching three cars get their food, I decided to go in and ask. They had forgotten about us and the food was already ready. All they said was, Im so sorry about that. They made no attempt to make up for the mistake.

Its kind of hard to review a restaurant that just opened.. But Panera has been around in La Quinta for a long time.. Recently they moved into a new Fast Food atmosphere. I can tell you this the drive thru is nice, But I dont like the fast food concept that has been created .. Panera was always a nice place to go relax eat a great meal, always had a nice homey quiet feel to it, with very private booths. Now its noisy and Im disappointed to say the least.. We dont need anymore fast food restaurants. But I do hope it improves. I will miss our La Quinta Panera Bread Restaurant.

Got an apple chicken salad. It was okay, they are supposed to toss it in a dressing but it was really lacking. There is only one place in the entire restaurant smack dab in the busiest area, and they were wet, so that was lacking. You place your order at a cash register from a menu on the wall and they hand you a buzzer to notify you when its ready. Then you go pick it up with your napkins. I thought it was strange that they ask for a tip when you are paying, and you are to buss your own tables. They want you to scrape your plate and organize your silverware too. I dont mind really but I could do all that at home, kinda want some service when I go out. But I did feel full when I left.

Came in this morning at 7amHardly any one in the restaurant. Very light line. I waited 20 mins for just one toasted bagel. They were preparing a large online order. Three of us in the store were getting impatient. When I finally got up and asked them for my bagel, the manager sliced my everything bagel and just tossed it in a bag. Usually the bagels come in separate bagel bag. How rude. The tartiness and rudeness by employees and manager at 7:30 is unacceptable. I wont be coming back to this store in La Quinta.

I love Panera and I order pick up from them many times a week for lunch at work and I have to say their pick up service is not great. Every single time I’ve ordered from them which at this point is probably over ten times, they forget something. Most of the times it’s little stuff but today has me completely fed up. I Order a sandwich with no mayo or tomato (mayo is the more important one) because I have a pretty intense repulsion towards mayo, anyway they put both mayo and tomato on my sandwich. I’m tired of it. I’m sure the workers are busy and have a lot going on but they have never gotten my order right, not once. Food is good tho.

One of the worst order fulfillments I’ve ever experienced. Ordered online for pickup from the app. Got the wrong dressing for Greek salad. Got the wrong size and flavor of soup. Toasted the bagel when order was for sliced only. Didn’t get a whole grilled cheese sandwich. And no cheese on a turkey sandwich. It was like they glanced at the order but didn’t care about what they put in there. I did not include a tip, so maybe that’s why the order was wrong.

I was shocked at how dirty this restaurant was! ESPECIALLY located in La Quinta Ca! My husband and I went gif lunch. We ate in the dining room and sat at a table next to the window. When I placed my purse on the floor I noticed A LOT of food crumbs snd psper trash on the window railing! I looked further down the window rails and saw food on ALL other rails as well. I decided to keep my purse in my lap. I then looked around the entire dining room including the floor, I saw paper, used napkins, sugar wrappers, used straws, and food stuck in the carpet from people walking.I took pictures because I was SO shocked to witness these dirty floors! I used the bathroom whereas it had a filthy floor too.We won’t be eating there again that’d for sure. With a dirty dining room and restroom it made us think that the kitchen was probably filthy too! A suggestion would be, If Panera is going to charge high prices for their food like they do, then they need to have A LOT cleaner restaurant! Come summer time they will be having a major bug infestation if not cleaned! There are many clean and tasty food restaurants nearby so completion is fierce!OND other thing.,,,,There was a lady walking around the dining room asking guests if everything was ok which was fine but she definitely needed to pick up the sweeper as well!

In my opinion- they are absolutely fantastic. I do not splurge often. It was my birthday and I ordered a bear claw. It was warm and gooey with just the correct amount of awesomeness that made you want another. We had scones and they were moist and just delightful. Was headed to Panera, then saw it was 8:30pm. They close at 9pm, but they really close at 8pm, so I turned around and didnt waste my time with a open establishment that would be out of all bakery items, all Charged Lemonaide, all Iced Coffee, all Iced Tea and most of their Entry items without having to substitute something. Corporate should just mark this location closed at 8pm. Went somewhere else.

I know a one star review is a bit harsh but read on, I think it’s warranted.First of all, I really like Panera as it is quick and easy with a pretty good atmosphere. Since it’s five minutes from my house I would eat here 2-3 times a week for lunch. Because I live in a touristy area the self order/pay kiosks worked out great. Visitors sometimes have a little difficulty navigating the menu, and they usually wait until they are at the counter before deciding what they want.I was in the La Quinta Panera five days ago and noticed 3 out of the 4 kiosks were out of service. The fourth was being used by a woman who swiped her card so many times she probably wore the numbers off of it. With eight people in line and only one cashier, I left and went elsewhere.I went back today and used the only kiosk (seemingly) working. I stopped swiping before my card numbers were worn down. I asked an employee if it wasn’t working and she said they started having problems earlier today. ...wait? Today? The employee appeared to be a manager and without any other comment left the counter. As I entered the line, the family in front of me was involved in a deep Q&A about what lentil soup was, whether or not there were tomatoes in a salad, and whether or a scone was worth ordering. I left.So here’s the problem: When management stops caring about the business, the employees stop caring about the business and the business starts to fail. This location has been showing signs of this for some time. The booths are worn or broken, cushions are ripped, and padding is worn. The lines are allowed to swell with no help being directed to provide service. Tables are often left dirty and the floors get pretty messy before they receive attention. Oh, and the kiosks are not repaired when they break, and management’s only response is to feign surprise.When this Panera gets its act together I’ll go back. I’ll look for the sign that says, “Under New Management.”

Said my order would be ready at 10:21 and got there about 5 mins early...parking lot looked full so I thought okay it might take a little longer to get my food. 10mins later nothing...and I kept seeing people go in and out with their food so then I was like okay then why isnt my order ready if I ordered online. So he says oh it looks like you wanted it curbside and our curbside is on this side now. Its new, we havent had it like this for long. So my point is if they knew and it said on the receipt what type of car I had and obviously wanted it curbside why not bother to check if I was outside. How are customers supposed to know that it has changed. Never said anything online, doesnt have any sign signaling that pickup locations have changed. Sandwich did not have all ingredients and my large drink tasted like water from sitting there for idk how long. Super annoyed and its the last time I go there.Not the first time I have had issues here. I have ordered inside and have been waiting for my food and the waiter/runner was just talking to the cooks and not even paying attention. Had me waiting there for about 20 mins as well and never once asked me what my name was for my order. Manager doesnt care so employees wont care either. SAD

This was for an order for an office birthday. Initially tried to order thru Postmates, but the menu there did not match Paneras normal menu (please update for consistency). Then spent about 10 minutes inputting into Uber Eats (easy navigation to order). Placed order and it was refused by Panera. Huh? Tried placing order again and it was refused the second time. Fine. My staff really wanted Panera, so I drove down to place my order in person. It was not busy when I arrived. Placed my order and it was ready in about 10 minutes. Returned to the office to find that none of the wrapped/taped sandwiches had been labeled. Covid times Panera staff. So, we had to have someone open every sandwich to try to determine whos was whose. Also, the bread bowls were assembled as large paper bowls with a 6-8 inch loaf of bread. Not exactly a bowl. Food was good, as usual, but given the difficulty and inconvenience in placing the order and the poor thoughts behind packaging our order, I will order at another restaurant next time.

I love Panera. Sorry but I love the variety of foods, the great breads, the brocoli cheese soup, the PICK 2 options, the Apple salad, the tuna salad on a toasted bagel, and the mango smoothies. Prices have risen and the menu is till more confusing than it should be for newcomers. But on balance I still love it and go because its good and convenient and not too expensive and gives everyone along a choice.

When she brought us our sandwiches, the bread was wrong, the cheese was wrong. We told her she grabbed the plate said she had to throw it away and remake them, I mean it was in such a RUDE way!, she left, My wife reached over to me and told me that she thought she was so rude. after a bit my wife left the table, she came back told me we had to leave. I asked her why, then the lady came to us and said we have to leave now we were not welcome there!! they refunded our money we left, so i asked my wife what happened? she told me that she walked up to the lady and asked her why was she being so rude to us? the lady said it was a waste to throw out food and she would not have that. I thought she was a manager, looked at her tag she was a supervisor, all the while the manager was standing next to her not saying a word. He didnt even ask us what happened. I have been going to this Panera since it opened and seen the quality slowly sliding, but in the last half a year it has truly been on a downwards slide.Today I ordered a Pick 2 - cup of tomato soup and 1/2 turkey BLT sandwich - and a large latte. It came to $13.02, which I thought that was a bit pricey for what I got. The Pick 2 comes with a french baguette, but I asked for extra croutons for the soup instead. Dont know what the normal number of croutons are, but with the extras I got a total of 6 croutons! The soup had a piece of something in it, so I would recommend not to eat at this Panera if you have an allergy, since you cannot know for sure how they treat the food.The coffee is good, but the pastries are, as in other Paneras, boring. Dont know why they changed the pastries they used to offer a couple of years ago, but they certainly did not go for better quality.In summary, I can only recommend this Panera for coffee.

I dont think they should be out at 7:30pm of so many items. I ended up with broccoli soup, which was good. I wont be coming back. I was sorely disappointed by the dinner I just picked up from Panera. Usually this place is great but the food we received was less then subpar. My caprese sandwich had no pesto and only one slice of a cherry tomato. I basically paid for cheese and bread. My sister’s bread from her sandwich was mostly burned. I hoped my salad would be better but the lettuce was mostly yellow and I found a hair, A HAIR in my salad dressing after I poured it all over my salad. No way I was gonna eat it after that. Hey at the least the baguette wouldn’t suck. Well, I got no butter. They have a manager watch as food is being made for quality control and to make sure the food is right before they give it to you. I don’t know why since it’s clear he doesn’t do his job by the terrible food we got.

I work night shifts and I try my best to be healthy. My first “fast-foodish” restaurant near me that still remainded healthy was Panera Bread. I came in at 9:10pm, (they close at 9:30pm), there was 20 mins before closing and from years of experience in fast food, I know we cannot physically start cleaning up and shutting stuff down until at least 5 mins before close. I didn’t come in asking for much; just a half of a sandwich and an apple. The first thing I was greeted with by a worker passing by, “Tell him no.” Obviously the Cashier cannot legally tell me that since it was a little while before close, so I could still put in order in. So I ordered my half sandwich and an apple. Waiting patiently until I was given my food, and I walked on out. As I opened my sandwich in the car. It was literally thrown together. Sauce wasn’t even on half of the sandwich. I was highly disappointed, but still ate since I was on break. The next thing which was horrid; they didn’t give me an apple. Usually when a customer asks for a certain side and one is out. You inform them, and have them choose a different side. Well, I got chips. I wasn’t informed nor told. Worst Panera Bread I have been to YET. The Managers and/or Owner should buckle down on the brashness of their employees. I know it is hard running a restaurant and being a worker, but it doesn’t excuse such horridness to someone who was nothing but kind and understanding of their position, the time, and my own health. Definitely worth the title one star.

Guessing this is under new ownership as things have changed! Always dirty, trash piled up, floor filthy and tables not cleaned off for next diner until you ask. The staff at the registers cant get the orders straight much of the time. Used to be a mug for their good coffee (yes, thats still fairly good) was presented when you ordered it, now they hand you a paper cup and you have to ask for a mug. Last straw...ordered a tureen of soup to go which said for 4 people - to the tune of $13.00. When poured out it was less than an ounce of chicken and a few broken noodles and a thin tasteless broth filled the rest. Thats it for us! Used to like but give it an F in its present state.

Well, I had just eaten breakfast at home, but I had some time to pass so I thought I would set out to graze a bit. And I came to this Panama Bread place and began.First of all, the place was a bit cold, but Anabelle, who took my order, warmed the whole place up. What a smile - kind of reminded me of the girls back home in St. Lou. In fact the whole place looked like a place in Lou called there the Bread CO. Now its from Panama. Go figure!I love cinnamon, so I first ordered one of those cinnamon crunch bagels with some cream cheese slathered all over it. I even had them put some of it on the bottom of the bagels so I could lick the plate when I had finished . You know, all those little cinnamon grit-fire thingys fall all off and plop! right into that glued on cheese. So it makes the plate lickin a bit more productive.Next I moved right into a cinnamon crunch scone. What is a scone anyway? Seems like a stomped-on cupcake kinda like those flattened out frogs you see on the side of Highway 40 in the Lou. But, doggone it, it was good. Darned good AND the cinnamon crunchy things didnt fall off into the nest of cream cheese I had made for it! So, I had to lick off the cream cheese without the crunchy cinnamon do-dads.I remember what Mom - RIP - said about balancing our meals and needed some protein so I next ordered a spinach and artichoke souffle. Lordy was it good! Yummy ukeleles!! I loved it. And fast? I swear on a stack of New Testaments that Anabelle got this out to me faster than my bulldog Nuggy takes his call to nature in the neighbors yard.And speaking of nature, it was my turn. Now Im happy to tell you the restroom (or in aviation jargon the lavatory) was spotlessly clean. Furthermore, I took out my trusty tape measure to measure the height of the urinal since I have some mighty short and stubby legs on me because of my parents were - as we like to say in this politically correct world - vertically challenged.And YUP! Im delighted to say that the Panama Bread companys urinal measured EXACTLY 16 inches from the floor to the rim. The ADA standards, of course, include a 17 inch rise, so Panama did their homework! And even I could make water without leaving a puddle.I washed my hands vigorously for 40 seconds, warm water, the whole magilla out of the Ebola play-book. And then did a pimp-roll up to the counter again to start scouting some dessert items. I tend to get a bit of gas with chocolate, so I asked Anabelle (still smiling, bless her heart!), for an orange scone. Again with the flattened out pancake/cupcake. Maybe a better name should be a pan-cup or a cup-pan, but whos complaining anyway? Maybe Baskin and Robbins will come out with an ice-cream SCONE!!!This orange SCONE was the little cherry on top of the hot fudge! Sooo delicious. So perfect. Made my tummy SO happy. Like when my mom brought home that happy happy puppy for me. That puppy was the happiest ever because he was born with TWO, NOT ONE, peters!So all in all this Panama Bread thing is the real deal. Call first to see if Anabelle is there. If not Id ask when she was next working and pitch tent till then. If you give me some notice, I can meet you there and lead you through the menu. And we could re-measure the urinal height to see if we can work them for a few Benjamins by the old ADA urinal height shake-down. I have the lawyer, and all he does is make a few phone calls.
